Food Lion complaint on daniel, meat market associate

I would like for food lion corporate to know the stoney creek food lion located in whitsett nc is not a smoke free store. I was shopping at the store on saturday, november 23, 2019 around 1.30 PM, when leaving the store pushing my cart to the door entrance, your doors opened up and it pissed me off to know, your employee " Daniel, works in the meat market " was standing there holding a lit cigarette to have his nasty smoke blow right into my face, and I also witnessed a lady customer walking through his cigarette smoke. He was standing on the side where you store carts, that entrance. His cigarette smoke traveled inside the front entrance of the store as well as the parking lot, parking space near it.

I do not appreciate his nasty smoke blowing into my face as your doors opened as I was leaving. I do not smoke and I do not want to be a second hand smoker at your store.

This is not the only time he has done this. I have parked and could see him standing at the entrance door side where you store your carts. I could smell his smoke in the parking lot.

It made me not want to walk into your store. You lost my business that day, I went to. bj, s where I know shopping there for 5 years, I have never ever seen anyone working there smoking at their entrance doors.

I have been shopping at this food lion location stoney creek whitsett nc for over 10 years.

It has been lately I did not want to put my health at risk, because Food Lion Management is allowing " Daniel" to smoke outside your door entrance where I am leaving to have his smoke blow in my face and as well as walking in.

I will take my business to. bj, s, lowes foods, cause I do know, those stores do not allow their store employees to smoke in the front of their stores, doors entance. I spoke to their Store Managers, they have a smoking designated area their employees are required to smoke, which is located from the front entrance at their doors.

Please Food Lion Corporate fix this problem, with Daniel who is disrespectful smoking outside your door entrance. Ty.

After speaking to BJ, s and Lowes Foods Store Managers, they do not allow their store employees to smoke in front of their store, no where near their door entrances, They have smoking designated areas, that is not any where near their front door entrances, for customers to smell, walk thru and have it blown in their face, like at stoney creek food lion.

Food Lion a accident that was considered shoplifting

Over a year ago in October I was a the store like I am 4 to 5 times a week. Where I spend at least the very least 70 a visit. Not to mention my end of week trip where I purchase goodies for the 2 handicap family members I care for .
Upon checkout I had some magizines I was on the fence post about buying because I wasn't sure weather I had the issues or not so I layed them on top of my bag in the cart when I removed my wallet.
I spent about 300 in the store and had a few hundred more dollars and my credit card and my pay card on me. After checking out I was getting ready to put my wallet in my bag and saw I didnt include the magizines I turned to say something to my clerk who is also my neighbor and the exact same time the security offer said you didn't pay for the magizines. I said yes I know can I pay for them now. He said no that's theft. I was like no honestly it was a mistake I'm in here all the time I spend thousands a month he wasn't hearing it embarrassed I took my lumps and said I won't make excuses I made a mistake how long do I have to stay away. He said well since you are a regular you did hqve Money on you and bank cards and did offer to pay for them. Which I interrupted and said I realized it happened before you did. He said no I knew you were gonna do it you seemed scattered and like you mind was elsewhere I was watching you. I said then why if I'm such a good customer didn't you say miss your in here all the time and so is your son.yiu spend a lot of Money in here why didn't you ask Did you forget about the magizjnes before it even got this it Was not intentional and I took the punishment because I'm sure ppl do steal and I did not want to sit there making excuses and wasting his time I made a mistake pure and simple and I paid the dues which was one year out of the four lion. But when I tried to go back in last week they said I needed a letter from corporate saying I was allowed Listen I'm truly sorry this Happened it wasn't done on purpose I had a lot on my mind which was no excuse I care for 2 handicap family members and your stores food is not only fresh and healthy for them but what I deem to be a family atmosphere and I wouldn't steal from my family. Pls present me with this letter. You do not know how filthy I have felt. I am not that type of person. I have never EVER BEEN IN TROUBLE. NO THEFT NOTHING SO PLEASE HELP ME. NO ONE AT CSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER HAS. CALLED ME BACK AFTER PROMISING TO GET NE THE LETTER AND NO LETTER HAS ARRIVED. please the holidays are approaching and I do the cookies for Easter seals Which is who my handicap brother is affiliated with I am a good person I not once used any excuse or begged the security man to let me off because of me taking care of my family members I'm only telling you this after I have done my ONE YEAR OF ABSENCE FROM MY FOOD LION

Food Lion customer service

I went into the store on Friday November 1st it was a spill on the floor where I was getting my baby formula from lots of glass and spattered baby everywhere I told the manager about this along with all the workers, No one attempted to clean up the spill, It was alot of playing going on, I made it clear I was going to file a complaint too, If weren't careful or would have gotten injured someone would have got in alot of trouble! I never received my discount for my Food Loin items which was on sale, I had a Food Loin card? I tried to get another different card and I was told no go online? This was unbelievable and unacceptable behaviors!

Food Lion produce employee

I was in Store #100 on Tuesday, October 23 buying groceries as usual. I was checking out all the produce when I decided to ask the employee, Corey in produce, a question about the apples. He said he doesn't eat apples and they are garbage. First shocking response. He said that he fills in here and wasn't his normal store, so he didn't care about the produce area here. I then asked if he had any other sweet potatoes in the back because they didn't look good. He said "No sir. Anything else?" in a very sarcastic tone. Then I could not believe what was said next when I mentioned the rotten onion. He said "You could go to another grocery store if u would like." I was appalled. I just walked away and kept my mouth shut. If these are the kind of employees you are gonna have fill in at this store, I will never visit this store again. Or any Food Lion as far as that goes. I have happily shopped Food Lion for 20 years also. What a terrible experience.

Food Lion team member-mikayla mauldin, customer service manager

I visited the store on 10/4/19 at about 2:30 or 2:40 pm. I often frequent this store. I went through the checkout line and had a great customer service experience. She was cashier number 0195. Unfortunately when I walked out into the parking lot, I dropped one of my bags containing yogurt. It burst. I, at that time also realized that I had forgotten to get ice cream. I went immediately back into the store. I got a new yogurt pack as well as the ice cream. When I approached the customer service desk, there was a man paying his power bill. I waited in line behind him for about 10 minutes. Which, by the way, the customer service manager assisting him was unable to complete his transaction for whatever reason. After about 10 minutes, a woman comes up and cuts in line in front of me to get change for a $20 bill. I was shocked that the customer service manager allowed her to break in line, especially since I had been waiting so long. As soon as Mikayla Mauldin (Food Lion customer service representative) gave the woman change, I approached the desk and placed my items on the counter. As the woman who had asked for change walked away, I said to Mikayla, "Ma'am, I was next in line". She then flipped out telling me I was "rude", and had an "unbecoming attitude". I, then informed her that I didn't care for her opinion and that I was just trying to exchange my yogurt and purchase ice cream. She then threatened me saying she "didn't have to serve me". She continued to instigate this argument for the next minute or so. I kept telling her "drop it, exchange my yogurt". She finally stopped antagonizing me and made the exchange for the yogurt. I told her I did not wish to purchase the ice cream at that time because I did not wish to return to this store based on how I was being treated. At that point Mikayla replied, "please don't. "

I am reporting this negative experience in hopes that no other customers have to be treated this way. Mikayla Mauldin made me feel very uncomfortable today. Other customers were watching while she proceeded to reprimand me. Which, all that I did was inform her (correct her) that I was next in line and she had skipped me. Honestly, I believe she did this on purpose because she could sense my frustration when she permitted the customer to jump in front of me. She obviously enjoys instigating customers and I believe disciplinary action is in order. No other Food Lion customer should have to be embarrassed in this way.

Food Lion service

Good afternoon. I live in the north charlotte area and regularly shop at a new food lion location at 13108 Eastfield Village, Huntersville, NC (please note I placed a different store in the required field because this one did not show). I have lived in this area for a long time and I get groceries here with my family every week since this location opened a few months ago. Our experience is typically good, however last Saturday we experienced something no customer should ever have to deal with.
My wife was at the meat section. A stocker named Mike (older guy with white hair, beard) rudely butted in front of my wife and almost bumped into my baby stroller with my 21 month old daughter in it. My wife asked him to say "excuse me" and emphasized that we were not done making our selection, and asked him to wait. Mike then went around us and again, rudely butted in front of my wife to place something on the shelf, stating "I have to do my job" in a aggressive manor. My wife asked him why he would do that in such dismissive way, to which he got in wife's face and begin grumbling about doing his job. I then asked him to not be so aggressive to my wife and he then got in my face with the same aggressive manor. I explained to him that what he did was very disrespectful. He got closer and asked me "what are you gonna do" in a challenging and aggressive manor. I told him not to threathen me, and asked him to get his manager. After taunting me, he stormed off to the breakroom. I went immediately to get a manager. Ashley Benz and another young lady with short hair ( Mary I think, not sure) were very sympathetic and helpful in the moment. They gave us gift cards, which was nice, but we were still bothered by the tone of this guy. Mike got in my face again as I was waiting for the manager as he walked out the breakroom. Later the store manger came out to speak with us (shorter, bald man). He explained that the incident was inappropriate, and that HR would review the tape (which I made clear would show the incident as we described). He also explained that Mike would be disciplined. After this he seemed to subtly make excuses for Mike, to which we were very disappointed in, because his behavior was very inappropriate and warranted a immediate termination. The store manager had Mike come up to us and give us a fake apology, to which we were very unhappy because we were both not comfortable with a guy who was intentially pushing us to a point to defend ourselves. I felt that the store manager was trying to smooth it over, while not acknowledging the a real concern for people's safety.
I was shopping with my family - my wife and little baby. We did not provoke this guy. He took it upon himself to be rude, dismissive, and aggressive to the point where I might have had to defend myself and family had I not asked for a manger. We shop here every week with no problem. We would like to continue, but we question if we will because of this incident. We got no real assurance from the store manager, and it is disappointing that he did not seem to realize the seriousness of this situation. When I asked to speak to a manager after this occurred, other store employees did not seem surprised that Mike would react this way.
Please follow-up with this situation.

I know your comment is almost 2 years old but this has been my experience with Food Lion. They are bottom of the barrel when it comes to service and unfortunately they are everywhere in Charlotte and if you want convenience it’s Food Lion. They are not accountable for their actions in stores like Publix Kroger, and Harris Teeter could never get away with this behavior.

Food Lion high prices and discontinued items

I am so disgusted with Food Lion that I will not be shopping there anymore! I have been a loyal customer for many, many years! I shop at the Food Lions located in Danville, VA. It seems to me that since you have remodeled the stores with the cold produce rooms that all of your prices have increased dramatically and you have discontinued items that I would purchase all the time. I have always thought that the Food Lion Brand items were very good and reasonably priced. For example, I would always purchase the Food Lion Brand Ice Tea Packets...they have gone from $1 a pack to $1.79! There are so many Food Lion Brands that you no longer carry...Peppered Turkey and Today I discover that you aren't carrying the Food Lion Brand Soups...nothing but the expensive Campbells Can Soups. I was also buying the Chandler's BBQ and now you only carry the Cackleberry flavor which is awful. I asked someone in the meat department about that and was told that they have no control over ordering for their store...that Corporate does all the ordering. It seems to me that you would order items that sell in different stores. I know that everybody is not the same and have different preferences, so why would you think that what sells in one store will sell in another. I believe that management is harming the business rather than helping. I will now be doing my main grocery shopping at WalMart. There is so much difference in the prices there and in Food Lion now. Food Lion used to be competitive with WalMart, but no longer. It's now worth me going a few miles further to grocery shop at WalMart than Food Lion. If some changes aren't made, I am sure more and more people will be doing this!

I agree with you. So many of the food lion brands as well as cha-Ching items are no longer stocked. Even some of the brand Name items are not on shelves anymore. Prices just continue to rise. I went to Food Lion today. 1/3 of items on my list I couldn’t get. I was so mad that was ready to leave my cart in the middle of the aisle and walk out. I didn’t but I had to go to Ingles to get what I couldn’t get at Food. I’m ready to start shopping at another store that may be a little out of the way but at least I can find what I need.

Food Lion service

Ok I'm on vacation and on Thursday Sept 26th, the other day Wednesday the 25th my husband bought these amazeing choc eclairs & we wanted more so Thursday I went into the store to get more. I picked. UP a pack that was sitting on the shelf where it says (2) for $5.00 so when I went up to the register they rang up $3.99 a piece so the. cashier asked the head girl/cashier to do a price check & while I waited she came back & said that they are $3.98 & I told her that they were sitting on the shelf where it said
(2) for $5.00 & she preceded to tell me in a, sarcastic attitude / voice that
(Well someone musta put them there & they are &3.99) & that it's not her problem,
& told her. Well it's not. My fault someone else put them there but they were on the shelf where it was marked 2 for $5.00.
Well I really didn't appreciate the way the attitude she gave me...
My ticket # was 0098 register # 008 cAshier 0234 the time was 19:24:36 on Sept 26th
I've worked at at grocery store for 15 years & never have I ever been so upset & on my vacation at thAt...

Food Lion brianna lee krause

approximately a week ago i was verbally harassed as i was checking out by a food lion employee. not only did she threaten me and my child and my dog but she also caused embarassment to me. she decided to tell me that II needed to go straight home after leaving the store because my dog was hot and in the car. if this little girl had known anything she would have known that my child, who is 15 years old, was sitting in the car with adele, my dog, and had ran inside the food lion as i was checking out to ask me if it was okay to walk to the dollar store located next door to the food lion to look for gravel for his new fish tank I had just bought him. He literally had just left my dog for less then two miniutes. If she had even asked me instead of speaking unsolicitated of why my dog was barking she would have known that adele was abused as a puppy and is a rescue. And because of the trama adele was put through as a puppy she has a severe attachment issues. If I leave her for even one minute and she cant see me she pretty much has an anxiety attack. Now, regardless of everything I just said, one needs to know the details of this day. It was very cool outside being it was still august. It was a cool 71 degrees that day and I know this for a fact because before leaving the house i checked the temperature, like I always do, to make sure it wasnt too hot for Adele to sit in the car for a few minutes. I also only went to Food Lion to get one thing, coconut oil. Now, truthfully upon arriving I did end up getting three things. Three things that were all located in one aisle. I purchased coconut oil, coconut milk, and coconut flour. I firmly believe in eating healthy and providing healthy snacks and meals for my family. Now that you understand the context of the situation you can understand why, when checking out after walking around for five minutes, I was very aggitated by Brianna's interrogation. Not at any point was my dog, child, or surrounding people in danger in any way. Adele had a full bowl of water, with crushed ice in it if I might add that I get from Royal Farms everyday just for Adele and every window was completely open. I was also extremely agitated from the interrogation from Brianna because, much to her surprise, I know her outside of Food Lion. She doesn't know me but I know her and I also know her lifestyle that she has created for herself. This lifestyle I'm speaking of consists of having multiple dogs, cats, and rabbits all of which are neglected and abused. The dogs have broken limbs from falling down steps in her yard, none of which have been tended to. None of them have the appropriate permits or necessary shots that by law are needed. Her rabbits have something called 'sore hocks' which are cuts on the feet of rabbit from wire cages and neglect. Their feet become infected and inflamed and is very very painful for the animal and highly preventable. So, when some millennial tries reprimanding me for my actions although her whole exsistance is shameful...you know, that can really get to someone. Especially when I know in my heart that I was doing nothing wrong and this employee wasn't educated in the least bit on the truth of the matter. Then this girl said she was going to report me. I said a few choice words, grabbed my bag and started walking out. I turned around at the door and asked her what her name was so I could report her. She would not answer me so I asked her again. Again she did not answer so I grabbed her name tag so I could read it. When I did that and I tried shifting the name tag towards myself she backed up on purpose undoing the safety pin. She knew exactly what she was doing. I gave her back her name tag and continued to leave. Much to my surprise Food Lion is backing her side. Honestly...are you serious. I didn't ask for this. I didn't want this. As far as I'm concerned I was harassed and reacted to a situation that could have been prevented if Brianna had either minded her own business or maybe taken me aside with a manager and discussed her concerns with me. She had NO RIGHT to accuse me of abusing my puppy and she damn sure had no right to embarrass my family and I at the register in front of all those people checking out. I am so embarrassed about what she did to me. And on top of everything she pressed charges on me for "offensive touching" because of me trying to look at her name tag. Not only has she caused embarrassment for my family and I but she definitely caused major embarrassment for Food Lion. And do you know how I know this? Well the next day a fellow employee at Food Lion was speaking to my neighbor who had gone to the store to grab a few things. While they were talking the employee did not realize this lady was my neighbor. The employee proceeds to explain how wrong Brianna had been to say those threatening things to a customer and how Brianna had no right to talk to a customer in that manner and create such a situation in front of the whole store. Since this has happened the police have come to my house and in front of my children, told me I had to "turn myself in" because I had a warrant for my arrest. Now I know that places like Walmart, Superfresh, Acme, and Harris Teeter have policies in place where they avoid public humiliation and negativity gravitating the label of their name. This seems to me like a highly negative situation. If something is not resolved by the higher ups at Food Lion I am going to the news media, social media, and the local radio stations to tell everyone about the embarrassment I endured in your establishment and the embarrassment I endured later on at my own home in front of my children when police officers came to me telling me I had to turn myself in because I had a damn warrant for my arrest because of something I didn't ask for, want, or need to happen. Life is hard enough. Raising teenagers, working constantly, and trying to keep a positive outlook on life are my main endeavors. Since this incident, however, I've been made to feel like a criminal for only defending my family and my lifestyle against someone who had no right even speaking to me. The only things Brianna should have said to me are, "do you have a Food Lion card, " and "form of payment?". I should have never endured the pain I've had to endure because of Brianna. So, as I said before, some sort of action needs to take place on behalf of Food Lion to eliminate the problem. Its like an infectious disease and its only going to get worse as time goes by. Thank you sincerely for your time. I hope you can see why this is so important to me.

first of all im the 15yo son and our dog is not abused in any way, she and her brother are the mos spoiled pups i know, they get everything they want and plenty of love, they get 3-4 meals a day of top quality food, they get taken on walks at least 3 times a day and get to run around in the woods... she is extreamly attached to me and my mom, ...
we left her in the car bc it was about 62 degrees out not 70... and the windows were only down enough for her to put her head out. she had a bowl of water in the seat and a soft blanket to lay on, she was only whining and warbling bc she wanted to come out and go in the store with us, considering she goes in every store she is allowed to. the cashier has no business asking us abut our personal life. she needs to keep her mind on the cash register and giving us our receipt. she turned away so my mom couldnt see her name tag, the name tag is there for a reason its completely unprofessional for her to turn away. i dont know the policy but some places you arent allowed to hide youre name tag. she assaulted my mom verbally and personally. my mom did not touch the cashier at all, she strictly touched the name tag.

Food Lion employee

employee, Darrell Ray Britt was recently employed by Food Lion in Cathage NC... He is usually a third shift stocker, he is a convicted class i felon with several other misdemeanors as well- Darrell Ray Britt also uses illegal drugs regularly- He would be the type of person to actually use someone else's urine for any Drug Screen given-
He is just not the type of person, Im sure, you want working in your store...

Food Lion staff

I was in the Vinton store on Saturday. It was an awful experience! I have spent close to $200 within the last week there. This experience did not make me feel good at all! It has definitely made me not want to shop there anymore. First there were 2 ladies that work on registers that were complaining while I was shopping and blocking me from what I wanted to get. They were complaining about the manager sending people home early and they needed help in the front. I go back towards the meat department and there were 2 young men gossiping about someone that works in the front of the store. One worked in the meat department the other Im not sure. He had a bandanna on his head! Looked very unprofessional! The bandanna boy said to the other "I better let you get back to work" The other young mans respnse was " Thats ok. I don't have anything better to do" I timed them! They stood and talked for 20min. When I went to check out there were only 2 lines open. Lots of people waiting! Finally someone came to help. She was one of the ladies that was in the back complaining. She was nice but she was complaining to me about the same thing she was to the other lady! I live close to FL but I will only go in there from now on to pick of things I have to have. I will not do grocery shopping there again!

They fired me because I was a couple minutes late . I would always do other people work for them I felt like I was doing more than they was ... They was suppose to have gave me my last check and they haven't said anything about it ... They knew I had a daughter so of course I'm gonna be late they knew what was going on so I don't know why they couldn't work with me .. they already been multiple complaints over stuff like that and it be this one lady that never wash her hands she touch food without gloves and that's so disgusting and being prodigious

Food Lion balloon filling

When I walked in this evening to ask for balloons to be filled they directed to this one woman. From there she was unfriendedly in having to fill the balloons unfriendedly, insisting why we would come here to get our balloons filled. As I am standing here waiting there are about two in there filling the balloons laughing and giggling. Just very poor conduct and quite frankly I am pissed off. I brought my business to you all just as I do for everything and for the workers to act the way they did over filling balloons is pathetic. Thank you. I would like to know how the conduct will be handled

Food Lion service

This past Friday (7/5/19) I went to Food Lion in Hillsville Va. to pick up a few items. It was busy with 3 lines open. I found one had one person so I went to get into line. A man came out of the line and said..."don't get into this line.. she won't wait on you". I got into line anyway and watched as the cashier (Robin) was carrying on a conversation with a male she must have known. She told me to go to another line as she was waiting for a customer to come back with something he forgot.
She hadn't started checking his full cart of items yet... I said I only had a few items... she again said to go into another line. There was not a 10 item or less open. The other lines were 4 or more deep. It took quite awhile for the customer to come back with his forgotten items. She greeted him with a birthday wish and continued to carry on a conversation with both men. Taking her good ole time while the lines got deeper. When I finally got checked out. there was no greeting or any communication. Basically tossed my items after scanning. Never said a thank you or any communication afterwards. Will not go back!
Another customer came up to me as I was getting into my car to say how terrible the checker Robin was to me. Growing up in Salisbury, NC I always thought Food Lion was know for it's customer service... no longer!

Food Lion le bleu ultra pure water

Either Heathsville Food Lion or your warehouse suck at orders. How hard is it to order 2-3 cases (48/72 bottles). I actually wanted 84 every week but that was causing confusion! Take note cases not bottles x 24 bottles in a box every week and the cost of my weekly shopping. I was driving to Food Lion each week for my order and it was a guessing game of his many from my order I would actually purchase. One week, perhaps 24, another time 36 or if I was really lucky what I had ordered. Always the same old excuse, it's the warehouse fault! Well I thought we had rectified, food lion were ordering 10 cases just for me and religiously every week I've been going in, doing my weekly shop and collecting Le Bleu water. Until, wait for it, last Monday. Again, no water but 48 on the shelf in sale! Guess the regular customer doesn't count with them. I took what was on the shelf and was informed a delivery was being made so check back. I gave them my phone number, yet again, and asked them to call me. Today 2 days later, I went back to see if they had my order. So 2 journeys to Food Lion at a cost of gas and 30 minutes of my time in driving was a waste as, you got, NO, being July 4th the young girl told me was busy so her guess was warehouse was busy. Ouch! Diane knew I was mad and on kindly checking no, warehouse had not fulfilled my order yet again. Tomorrow, July 4th, I will drive 30 minutes each way to Kilmarnock to get water. I will give Food Lion one more try, if they can't get a regular order together in Heathsville, goodness knows how they fulfill online orders. If this regular occurrence continues I will ask their competitors to order. It's worth me driving 30 minutes to Kilmarnock each week to do my shopping and know I'm getting the goods I need.

Not a complaint against staff.. they have always been very polite and helpful.. sometimes we have to realize that the staff can't control what their District offices or warehouses do..

Why lock in to Food Lion.. you can do an order online at Walmart.. their warehouse brings it packed separately.. you are told when it will be there.. you go into the store to let them know you are there to pickup.. they bring and put in your car.. done.. I've done this several times for food and merchandise.. never had a problem

Food Lion unethical behaviour

This is my Food Lion #926 that I shop at 2 or 3 times a week. I went in Saturday, June 1, 2019; to order a Birthday Cake. There were two women behind the counter. One was working the Deli, The other just seem to roam around passing my husband and myself along with other customers who where waiting in line. She never acknowledged me or anyone else! She just kept pushing by us saying excuse me! I had been trying to look at the display book for cakes. Then I noticed the bakery! It was filthy. Stuff thrown everywhere, Goods for sale laying on the floor and she just kicked them out of here way! She also looked nasty with a filthy apron on. After waiting for 10 to 15 minutes and seeing how nasty it was we left. It's a shame people like this are in there when this Food Lion has just been renovated.

Food Lion poor management and wrongful termination

Was working 2-3 jobs including my own (i'm trained in every department besides dsd) department with a top five illnesses at beginning of the month, our busiest time. The general manager had the audacity to stop me while looking for a container of sani-wipes for a customer in the middle of finishing my truck. To tell me rudely *you need to come when we call* after being up there all day anyway, neglecting my department with a saturday truck in my prep room... With the flu and 15 minutes left on my shift.
I wasn't even supposed to be in the building, not to mention i'm running circles around people who were 100% healthy.
I told her I was actually up there all day and that either I could do my job or everyone else's, you can't have it both ways.
I was wrongfully terminated... She kept people in the dark and didn't take into consideration that I had zero prior disciplinary actions against me.
Hell, another employee almost lost everything because she didn't take the necessary steps to protect him from just that when he was hurt on the job. We (employees) took it upon ourselves to ensure that didn't happen.
I don't know why i'm sharing this here, I should have her job right now.
Poor management, poor morale and a ridiculous turnover rate.
I don't have to lie, the numbers are there.

Food Lion service

I have been harasse on multiple occasions by employee name chalae mills she has used bad language towards me she keep asking me about my son emotional support dog everytime we come in the store I told her last week he was for my son disabilities and I could show her proof she told me no thanks however tonight in front of customers she confront me again about the dog she has been rude disrespectful manners towards me each time I come into the store tonight I told her I be contacting headquarters she told me she don't care I also contact her because I left my phone on counter of service desk she spoke with me on the phone and stated my phone wasn't there if it was she is the one who would have put it in the customer service draw well I knew it was there at foodlion so I went to the store ask her again about my phone and she said no it's not in the drawer she looked already while talking with her I had my son call my phone and it started to ring from the drawer in front of her where she was standing at customer service desk I requested her to open the drawer and there was my phone if this matter isn't handled to my satisfaction after I have made this complaint I will be going to the news and attorney to make a complaint by law my son is allowed to carry his dog anywhere he was very upset with her behavior towards us I want the to stop and a apology to my son and I please contact me at [protected] this enough.

An emotional support animal is not the same as a service dog and is not covered by ADA laws. He is not allowed to carry the dog anywhere. The "certificate" you provided can be purchased online by anyone and it doesn't mean the dog is a service animal. You stated yourself it is an emotional support dog. People like you make it incredibly difficult for people with legitimate service dogs to be given fair treatment.

All you did was pay $150 so you can pretend you have "rights" to tote your dog wherever you please. Even the website where you purchased your fake document tells you the emotional support animal doesn't mean it gets full access everywhere.

Food Lion managers

Manager jackie is very disrespectful the way she treats her employees is degrading I will never shop here again management sucks no one knows what to do and they have their poor employees confused. Store manager gives product away for free and allows his managers to be drunk on the job. There's favoritism in the store customer service manager is nice to some customers and nasty to others deli chicken is always pink and never cooked inside I received an under cooked rotisserie chicken which led me in the er this store and management is awful. New store means new management. Please take heed to what's going on.

Food Lion no interview for an employee who already works there to move up

My name is heather. I have been working at the food lion on Chester rd in Chester va for the past 3.5 years. I applied for the assistant customer service position at my store twice and have never received an interview. I also was promised full time by my store manager for a full time office position but I have never been full time on my pay stub. I also haven't received training for the Sunday morning lottery inventory count. I have been asking for the past year if someone would train me and it has never happened. Please help me. I want to be the best employee I can be and learn whatever I need but I need help getting my store on board to teach me.
