Farmers Home Furniture Employees are not friendly

I recently bought a push mower and ever since I have felt like a out cast. The employee are not friendly and even the manager is not friendly. I come to make a payment and not even a welcome or good afternoon. I feel like I am not welcome. I have left wanting to not go back and do business. I have got we're I dread going in and make my payment. I am heart broken. To be treated like that

Farmers Home Furniture Sofa with chaise

I purchased a sofa on their credit terms. It was delivered and set up while I was at work. I was excited to get the sofa because I had been searching for months for the perfect one for my needs. I had purchased a sofa with a chaise all in one. Immediately I noticed the sofa part was slanted where the cushions meet. It sat like there were no springs. So I laid on the chaise end and my body naturally wanted to roll toward the couch. I called the store and they arranged for a technician to come out, almost 2 months later. The technician said it need springs on the couch and the chaise side as well as bigger cushion on the sofa side. 2 months later, the technician came out to do the repair only the parts were not at my house. Farmers claimed that they were calling me (not leaving a message) to arrange a time to drop off the springs and the cushions. The manager brought the parts out after the technician had left. And of course, he brought out the wrong cushions. So I now have part of the parts along with a couch that my husband put boards under (literally) just to have a decent family night for tv. Now throughout this whole ordeal, I have gotten repeat phone calls daily as well as text talking about a payment but not the repair. Or make a payment and we'll see to it the you get repaired. This was my first new couch buying experience and my last. Facebook marketplace would have given me a much better buying experience. Dod I mention the amount of pain that i've experienced since having this furniture. My body aches so much due to the awkward positions that I have to sit just to find comfort. Save your money or go to conns. If the rest of their furniture is like that couch, then they are crap. Do not shop there!😡😡😡

Farmers Home Furniture Customer service

I purchased a reclining sofa, 2 reclining love seats and a dinette set from Farmers Home Furniture in East Ellijay, GA. They broke my reclining sofa upon delivery, my dinette set was broken and missing pieces and the delivery people bent the frame on one of my reclining love seats. I called right away, and was told someone would be out to fix them. No one ever showed up. I called at least two times per week for three months and was always told their repair tech was on his way. Finally after over 3 months my sofa and dinette was fixed but my love seat is still bent. I paid on time every month even during the months with defective furniture that I couldn't even use. I had heart issues at the beginning of July and accidentally missed a payment. While signing the contract I was told if I ever missed a payment they would give me a courtesy call. I NEVER received a single phone call, or letter for the missed July payment. The letter I did finally receive in the mail said they dinged my credit for the missed payment and that I had refused to answer previous calls and letters, which is a complete lie since I was never sent previous letters or given any phone calls. Anna McGill sent this letter so I tried to contacted her as soon as I received this letter, but she was out to lunch. I was told she would receive my message and call me back as soon as she got back from lunch, as per the letter, I only had 3 days to resolve this issue. Towards the end of the day I still hadn't received a call yet so I contacted her again. She was there and said she got my message but chose not to call me back. I asked her if I could have Grace for my missed payment, as I had heart issues and didn't mean to miss it and I had never been late or missed a payment in the past. She said it's not her problem and that they called me. The number they claim to have called is no longer in use, which I had told them this from day one. They assured me back in January 2021 that my new number was in the system. She then said they did have the new number in the system but that it isn't up to her to tell them which number to call. I told her they should have deleted the old number when the new one was entered. I then told her it's not right and that I had given them Grace for 3 months while they did nothing about my damaged "new" furniture. She proceeded to lecture me on the contact, which I reminded her that I was told I'd get a courtesy call in the event of a missed payment and it's not right to go back on your word. I had never even been late on a payment until that month due to a medical problem, and had I received a phone call I would have paid immediately. They don't make it easy to make payments either. You don't receive a bill and you can't make a payment over the phone or you get charged an additional $4 each time. So I've gone in person to make payments for the past 8 months. By this time I was extremely frustrated with my whole Farmers Furniture experience and wished I had gone somewhere else. I told her she doesn't treat her customers very well and she hung up on me. I had to call back to make my payment. And even though she is supposed to take the payments, she refused to take the payment from me. Luckily another girl in the office took my payment. Anna McGill is supposed to be the manager at the Farmers Furniture Store in East Ellijay, however, she does not come across as a professional and does not conduct herself as a very mature leader. I am not the type of person to get another in trouble or even give them a bad name, however, I've been more than gracious with this store, and Anna McGill, and thought you should know what's happening over there. I've talked with quite a few people that have had similar experiences but feel nothing would be done about it if they reported it so they don't want to waste their time trying. I only wish I had talked to them prior to purchasing my furniture. Thank you for your time.

Farmers Home Furniture Customer service

Visit your store in Louisburg, NC on 07/20/2021. A Spanish lady was in her vehicle pumping her breast. I thought she was a customer to find out she was an employee. Also a heavy set light skin employee told the store manager she doesn't have to listen to him because he wasn't someone by the name of Tammy. While all of this was going on a young lady introduced herself by the name Ms. Davis and helped me while all of this was going on. She seem to be the only one with good customer service. This store really needs to be checked out.

Desired outcome: Thank you Ms. Davis for helping me with all the choas that was going on in the store.

Farmers Home Furniture Living room set

I am down right tired of this store keep sending employees to my house after carefully explaining to them when I will be able to make a payment. Its getting out of hand. Every other day of the week someone comes for a payment. When they ask me to call them I do and tell them when I am paying them.. I need this to stop ASAP. Pandemic has been rough!

05/27/21 we ordered a king size bedroom set with a chest and a dresser in total will run about 3100+ dollars we told them we would be moving to texas soon mind you this is in oneida tn we get our set they tell us its a king set get to texas and guess what its a queen frame with a king mattress and my fiancée calls to get it fixed well 30+mins later with a rude woman her title was credit manager and they allowed someone new hire write up a sales report and she wrote the wrong sized bed frame and she even said yes its a king sized frame btw when they say they looked over there items before giving them out they really don't they hade given us damaged goods minor dmg but still all we want is our king sized frame the least they can do is add it to the bill and ship it to us but yet when i called customer service they hung up on me when i told them what i was calling about hade my fiancee call them on her cell phone and they ignored it had a friend call they answered the phone and i talked to the same woman then she hung up on me i kno this terrible company will go under with this type of work ethics

Farmers Home Furniture Credit reporting

Why does it take 3.months to report to credit agency's for on time payers ? When your company reports every month on delinquent accounts? It's not fair to every good customer. I like many others do pay on time. I have bought everything in my living room from Farmer's Furniture. I keep checking my credit and it reports my balance back in February. I just recently paid off my bill so accordingly to your reporting to credit agency's I will have to wait until June when my account is cleared. WHY?

Farmers Home Furniture Emily holt

Emily holt is rude to customers. Her manager lies to people to trick them into signing contracts then charges them extra after the fact. I was told my payments would be one way and then they charged me differently. When I tried to resolve the issue Emily holt was extremely rude about it. She even made the comment she could act how she wanted because she is credit manager.

Farmers Home Furniture Calls

I was going out of town and stopped in to ask Donna about possibly moving my payment to the end of my contract. This was the 1st time for such a request. Was told that they only did that in Dec. Ok. I asked if as long as I made my payment IN FEB would she @ least wave the late fee. She agreed. Today is the last day of the month and I have received 2 calls TODAY and one yesterday. Also one on the 25th. I have had this account a little over a year and have made ALL payments. So I told the guy I talked to him yesterday and he already called once today ... He advised (threatened) that there is a change in policy where if it rolls over that they will go straight legal. I'm still within my original payment arrangement I made with THE MANAGER OF THE STORE. What is their problem? I'm really debating letting them take me to court and then all I will have to do is pay the $ to file bankruptcy, which I may add is 3x less than what I owe for [censored]ty furniture. I wish I would have read the reviews about this company before even walking in their store. You know that they have a counter on their doors? If someone walks in they are expected to make a sale. WOW. Just WOW!

Farmers Home Furniture don't get a certificate letter

Hi my name is Manuel Sanchez I currently have an account with the Summerville store. I understand that I am behind on my account always pay on time I always buy from y'all and pay before my contract end but this time for medical problems that's the reason I was late on my payments, But I did made arrangements to pay, although the arrangements were made The store filed legals on me. I did not received a noticed on the mail that legal actions were going to be taken on me, Therefore I Got served a few days ago without a noticed. Prior to I had called to speak to management and all the girl (Olivia) did was placed me on hold and the manager (Kevin) never talked to me. I was making a payment for $390 on the 8th of January but I take my money back on the 9th because is no point to make any payments anymore if is a case open at court, because before I make a payment I need to have a written agreement that states the y'all won't pursue the debt in court if I make the payments as agreed, then check with the court to make sure the matter is dropped. The next day Jordan call me and I told her that After this, I kept receiving calls constantly. And Jordan was on touch with my wife Jordan told her that she's going to send some address where I need to send the money, supposed i have to make the payments on the store not send the money to another place, At this point I feel harassed by this personnel, I'm already served and it's illegal for them to continue on calling my phone 5-10 times a day. When I wanted to talk to them they wouldn't talk to me.
I will take this further if I need to, but something needs to get done on their end. I will do whatever I need to do because at this point they are against the law by continue to calling me not to mention that I never received a noticed of their action taken on me. I appreciate whoever that can help me take care of this in a peaceful way possible.

Farmers Home Furniture Collections

Farmers Furniture consistently break laws associated to the "Fair Debt Collections Practices Act". Heather, after speaking with the consumer on the phone will within the hour start contacting the all the individuals references. Making threats about "legal". Multiple phone calls although the individual has answered their calls, they continue. All of the above occurred between 10-23 days late.
This behavior is ridiculous and should be stopped.

Farmers Home Furniture customer service rep

I've dealt with this company for quite some time. Everyone has pretty much been pleasant until my experience with a representative named Barbara. She is very unprofessional and rude. I've left messages with her that have not gotten received to the appropriate people. At the store she speaks as if she is management with out having any knowledge about anything on my account. She not very bright and a bit racist. I will continue to deal with the company but refuse to deal with her.

Farmers Home Furniture my bed and my dresser

I got a complete bedroom group from Farmers Furniture. The first thing that happened was my mattress started unraveling at the seams, then the bottom fell out of one of my drawers, now my headboard is splitting rather Haslet and now my side rails continuously come out of my headboard. I've called Farmers Furniture numerous of times about my headboard I even went into the store and talk to them about it. What they advise me to do was take pictures of my bed and send it to them and they would get it repaired I've been doing that since early July and it is now August 15th and now they are telling me that they can't repair my bed. I'm still paying for my bedroom group and I just added something else on to my account I really don't feel like I should have to pay for this bed and eventually I'm going to end up having to sleep on the floor. The first picture is the picture that I took today and the second picture is the picture that I took early July when I first started complaining about it.

I am very angry with an employee that works at the Farmers Furniture in Rome, Ga. to begin with we bought a used couch from there that had holes in it. Which we did get a $100 off for it. 2 months after we bought it my husband falls and shatters his elbow and is not able to work, we filled out our insurance forms with them from the doctor. Fast forward 3 months and it's my daughters 15th birthday, my parents took us all out to eat and after we were done eating and about to walk out, the employee from Farmers Furniture is talking to my husband in front of our kids about late payment and that they were going to come get the couch and she also stated "how did you pay for dinner here! This should not be discussed in public in front of others outside the store! The employees' name is Teresa Hinrichs, she works at the Rome, Ga Farmers Furniture store! She owes an apology to us for humiliating us inside a restaurant! She does NOT need to work in customer Service! I will be putting in a complaint also to the Corporate Office!

Farmers Home Furniture customer service

The customer service at the Newberry SC store needs to be replaced and ashamed of their selves for discrimination against a former customer that's blind and battling 4 types of cancer! Don't remember the names of the women but they both could have cared less about my concern of having to get a chair for my husband who's failing health restricts him from getting up down without a lift chair. His old k e came from this very store 6 years ago and they showed no remorse and were quick to say we can't help you! I left in tears and not my husband has to lie in bed all day and be very uncomfortable! I know nothing will be done but thought I'd try anyways!

Farmers Home Furniture mattress

The day we ordered the mattress they were nice and now when you call to make a payment they put you on hold forever and you call them back and they put you on hold again and you call back and tell them you just wanted to make a payment and they act like it's a big problem and they put you on hold again and then a older rude lady asked you what you need and she takes the payment and hangs up on you so I called corporate office and told them they acted like they didn't care either they transfer me to the manager and he sounds like he doesn't care either I will never buy anything from them again that's not the way to do business

Farmers Home Furniture furniture is broken after 2yrs. with a balance of 2000.00 and no warranty

I hate I purchased this Furniture. I got back in 2016 the back of the sofa broke 2018. And guess what the warranty gone and I still owe 2000.00 on it. I got a TV from them the sound is hoerrible and gues what the warranty is gone and its not a good TV at all. Call to ask how they can help. Get the reply " nothing we can do, you can pay us to come out and look at it . But we still need our payment . IF not we will take you to court and garnish, your wages." Im so stressed out and deprressed ny credit score is going down further than it was. Im so depressed I hate it with a passion that I got caught up in that.

Farmers Home Furniture washer/dryer

I am on a fixed income of $ 750.00 dollars. I had good credit so I was able to spend up to a 1000$ and I got washer/dryer. It's on a contract 24 months I've paid 6 months and I miss one month because I am in process of finding a place to live. I called and talk to the store manager and was trying to get him to work with me but he wants me to pay $168.00 all he took off was a 18$ late fee. I told him I would but I'm not gonna be able too but before all that I told him they could just have their merchandise back but no they don't won't it like that also the washer is tore up and they can't fix it for me til I make payment and get in a place with power. I don't know what else to do can't afford to have to go to court and make payments when I was willing for them to just come get it can someone tell me what to do to avoid jail time or court or being sued while on SSI benefits

Farmers Home Furniture triple reclining sofa & reclining loveseat

Purchased 11/23/12, the worst sofa ever & worst company to connect with...well if you can ever connect, still waiting. Do not waste your money. One of the reclining chairs in the sofa stop working correctly, it was still under warranty and the store manager corrected the problem. I showed the men where the sofa cover was starting to peel and spoke to the store manager. Said that Catnapper did not provide a customer complaint number, which appears to be true. I did request for the manager to contact them for me, but said he wouldn't. sad.
Search the web & found a number that was a joke, only to be a recording. You have to go to a web site to make your complaint, which I did. Still waiting for a reply.
I had a living room reclining set I purchased approximately 20 years ago that I gave to a family member. It looks much better than the one I have and works fine.

Farmers Home Furniture no help

i have purchased a lot of merchandise from this store and been a loyal customer for years always make my payments on time etc anyway i went and purchased an air conditioner and a push mower from them and had nothing but problems first off when i got the air conditioner it was brand new in the box but when it was opened to be put in the whole back of it was pushed in so i called and they took it back then 2 weeks later i got a push mower it was on display at the store when i got it home my husband was going to put the oil in it and cut the lawn when he went to put the oil in it he noticed that the back of the mower where u pull the cord was bent in and the cord would not pull it would nt move( keep in mind this was 15 mins from the time i purchased it from the store ) so i call the manager and they said oh hes busy can he call u back i said sure so i gave my number to them when he called me i told him the situation and he got angry and told me that there was nothing wrong with it when it left the store so i said how do u know u didn't even look at it and he said i walked by it everyday u must have damaged it ur self i was like no i didn't so he laughs and says well that's what yr warranty is for he wouldn't even take it back or nothing and he was a complete idiot he was rude and disrespectful and he blamed it all on me when i didn't do it now i find out that the warranty nay not cover whatever is wrong with it
