Fantastic Sams Cut & Color Hair color

I went in for a fresh new color and was so excited. I asked for an ombre from dark brown to red. The stylist missed so many chunks of the bottom of my hair so now I have chunks of hair that go from brown, to red, to brown again and then red. It is hideous. The stylist attempted to fix it a second time, yet still was unable to fix her error. She also needed to cut like 4 inches off the bottom due to not bringing the bleach all the way down on my hair. The red is 1 to 2 inches from the top of my head (was supposed to be halfway down) and I haven't been able to wear my hair down since it was done. The stylist offered to do it again this month and still have not heard from her. I want a refund as I paid over 300 dollars to look ridiculous and now have to wait to have it fixed since she put bleach in my hair not once, but twice. The first two pictures are what I asked for the, the other two are what I ended up with.

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color Service

I was very disappointed yesterday as it was my birthday and I was unable to get my hair done I don't understand, Why I had two slots back too back 12:15 and 1:30 in my name and both with appointment scheduled with Missy. I don't understand how I didn't get the stylist I requested she was available when I came in and another lady wanted Missy as her stylist which wasn't fair to me. But then Ashley said she couldn't do my hair cause it wouldn't stay straight then after the other stylist told her yes it would she then said the excuse was she Ashley didn't have enough time to style my hair but I scheduled back to back appointments but I guess since I am not a regular or African American as Ashley seemed to imply by my type of hair was harder or a inconvenience. Thanks for ruining my birthday and all the photo opts. Yolanda Campbell Adult Haircut. here is the proof of my 2 appointments Aug/29/2020 12:15 PM Haircut Aug/29/2020 1:30 PM they offered me to come the next day Sunday but why did I have to come back I scheduled my appointment correctly two slots for adult haircut and time to style. I also scheduled with the correct stylist Missy who knew how to do my hair. But they gave me Ashley the other person stylist whom I didn't schedule with and left me with unfair treatment.

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color Hair color

I went to Angela at FS in Hawaii Kai, she is the owner. She did not leave the color on my hair long enough to process and my hair is orange. I asked for light brown with lots of blonde streaks, she did a foil. I was a barber in the 80's so I knew it was not going well from the start when the foils she put in had slipped half way down my hair shaft during the process . I went back and she attempted to fix it but it still turned out orange. She applied color to my hair 11 times in 2 sessions of 5 hours each. I told her when she was reapplying that it was not going to come out due to not letting it sit for long enough, she was nervous and excessively speaking Korean to the other girl in the salon (I have some of this recorded, but I do not speak Korean).
It was terrible and now my hair may have to be all cut off because it is so damaged. I have spent so much money on top of the line conditioners since that time in hopes to repair it. I am not putting any heat on it so I look terrible as I have always flat ironed or curled my hair, I'm afraid if I do it will just all break off.
I have lots of pictures of this experience, not sure if they went through to add.

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color Cancelled my appointment without notice

I have been waiting since Covid-19 quarantine to be lifted in order to get my hair done. I had originally had an appointment for the Friday, just after quarantine in California was put into place. Since the re-opening, I called to make an appointment, but was told to make an appointment on-line, which I did. Unfortunately there were few available so I booked two appointments as I needed two different things done to my hair. First a long overdue haircut was scheduled for July 8th, 2020 @ 11:30 am; this resulted in a 15 minute appointment. And a second appointment for July 9th, 2020 @ 11:30 am for an all over bleach or highlights, whichever Rosalie - the stylist, thought was needed. The second appointment was a 45 minute block.
Today I called in to the salon to confirm and was told that I had come in earlier in the morning and per the manager Rosalie my second appointment was moved to a different stylist, changed to the earliest appointment (9 am July 9, 2020). I was not notified by email or phone call that my appointment was cancelled!
Fantastic Sam's allows a client to book two (2) appointments at a time. I was not notified of the change, nor was I asked. This is frustrating and extremely disappointing as I have been waiting for months for this appointment, and as I was originally scheduled for an appointment just before quarantine. I was told at that time to not worry because I would get one of the first appointments available. They must have been joking because obviously I can barely get one 15 minute appointment for a significant cut and bleach job.
I am flying cross country on the 21st of July to attend a family funeral. It was very important to me to look appropriate for such an event. Now I will have to start over to find someone that can work with long curly hair that has grown enough virgin roots over the time span that I could very literally cut off all the old hair and never have to get processed again.
There is no resolution that this salon can extend to me as I will not employ them for another job, nor will I provide recommendations, and in fact have every intention of posting this on every social platform that I can.

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color poor service

My friend and I went here to have the same color put into our hair and the manager said she could do it, well she stripped my friends hair and i waited for another stylist to come in and she started on my hair she pinned half of my hair to the top of my head and put purple in the left half of the hair on the bottom and without my knowledge she put lilac in the other half and then decided to tell me that she didn't have enough purple and so she used lilac and it wasn't going to take, so would i be opposed to a different color? So she put blue in it and needless to say it all came out in 3 washes and i washed my hair in cold water every 3 days now I'm left with green hair. I was charged $100.00 and didn't get what I wanted, and my friend had her eyebrows waxed and her hair stripped and colored and was only charged $75.00 because the manager didn't know how to charge her. So I called the owner and he was traveling with his wife and said that's not right and he would look into it when he got home, I texted him photos and through correspondence with him weeks later he texted me and said that price was correct. I did not want blue hair nor did I want green I entered that business wanting purple along with my friend, so how did I get charged the correct price? I never told her to put lilac on my hair she took that upon herself and if she didn't have enough purple why did she even start on my hair? knowing my friend was getting the same thing? we would have went some place else. So I am requesting a refund of $100.00 from that nightmare visit I went through and I was told by the owner that his rep would be contacting me and I haven't' heard from anyone. I would appreciate it if someone would contact me I did not get the service i wanted or paid for! I am attaching photos of my friends hair that was stripped and my hair in the wash bowl and after I got home the end results along with what we went in to Fantastic sams for!

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color haircut action and attitude

When George asked what I wanted for my haircut, I said maybe a half inch all around, some thinning, and shorter in the back because my neck hair was getting long. I had to make sure that he would stop parting my hair when cutting it and he had a sort of tense attitude throughout.

When I saw what George thought was the finished product, it wasn't as short as I needed. That and he hadn't actually shortened the back-neck hair like I originally asked. It had only been five minutes and I just wanted to shorten it a bit more.

George kept saying that he wasn't going to do "three haircuts in one" even though this would only be the second "in one". I have never had a FS employee refuse to trim the hair more just because they thought of it as an additional haircut. The haircut is finished when I say I am satisfied. I didn't get it shampooed, I didn't add product. I just wanted it shorter.

He kept being snippy about it so I said we were done and left after paying. I shouldn't have paid for barely anything done. I don't appreciate someone I'm paying money to for a simple haircut telling me he won't do something that is in no way outside of the rules. I KNOW it is standard to make alterations. I wasn't being difficult. I wasn't being rude.

I will be wanting that money back, but I doubt I'll be getting my hair done by George again.

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color mistreatment of senior citizen by staff

On Dec.14, 2019 I visited the Fantastic Sam's Salon on Walsingham Rd, Largo FL 33774. We are seasonal 6 month residents and have been for many years. I frequent this shop every 8 weeks between Dec and May. Lovely shop and staff except yesterday. The person assigned to me approached the desk and asked, what do you need? I said a haircut. I wish I knew her name, but there was no name tag, not license at her station. A woman of 30 to 40, white bleached hair in a crimped Bob style. Multiple diamond facial piercings and bilateral arm tattoos. Hopefully identification based on description will help. I sat in the chair, she barely sprayed my hair wet and then said, so what do you want? My hair is a short pixie, over the ears with sideburns and bangs. I used my hands to to to go around me face so that my sideburns and bangs were in front of my hands. I said everything else is fair game. I am trying to grow my bangs and I would like the back tapered, layered and not too short. I said my hair is very bulky ( it is very thick and coarse) she said, " no, not really) I let it slide. She then said so your telling me HOW you wear your hair, not HOW you want me to cut it. You say, don't cut here, don't cut there. I said...please leave my banks and sideburns. Top sides back please layer and thin out. Not to much maybe an inch or so off the bottom in the back. A nice taper. Threw her hands up, I can't cut here not there, I can't deal with off limits! It was horrific. The operator in the next chair had a mortified look on her face. I finally said do NOT say another word to me. I was close to years. 65 years old to be treated with such a vile and hateful, disrespectful person as an employee in a hair salon was beyond brutal and unacceptable. I summoned the manager I did not catch her name but a young in her 20'S with pinkish hair. I showed her how I explained to leave the very front, bangs and sideburns alone by demonstrating with my hands. I explained the continued and prolonged attack by this woman the entire time I was in the chair. I would have left but my hair was uneven and about 1 inch longer on one side. I told the manager she should be fired on the spot. The manager seemed only minimally interested and said I'll talk to her. I am certain it was a big joke to them. A customer lost, a complaint filed. This person does not deserve to work with public or have the privilege of licensure.

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color staff

I go to Fantastic Sams in Stoughton, MA. Lenny Palmieri is in charge, but it seems like he is all about the money instead of the client. Mary Ellen is the Manager under Lenny. Clients have complained that she is very rude and arrogant. She even belittles the other staff right out in the open. She likes to swing her weight around. This whole place needs a makeover. They do things to your hair without telling you and charge you for it! I think the prices are a little high. Mary Ellen was on the phone one day and saying, just want to tell you before you make an appointment, prices start $18 and up! They have no value in their clients and this why they have lost quite a bit of business. No character or personality! It should be looked into. You have a hair color, it spills all on your clothes. I had this happen to me quite a bit.

I want to remain anonymous, but want to stress my point .

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color managers

I worked for this company. Gave extra hours. Worked constantly for others. Was targeted the first day I worked especially by one manager who would constantly call the owner crying making up stories just to have me fired. I have zero write ups and because I'm not an [censored] kisser was told that I no longer had a job. There is more to this story. The manager that cried to the owner was recently told that her boyfriend was on a dating site and had matched with me. Seems like she resented me doesn't it. I plan to go further with all the information that I have to do what ever it takes to know that you're owner Juliet as well as Kaleena targeted me and was very mean to me and is doing the same to others. This bullying needs to stop!

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color cut

Nina, was not very knowledgeable about cutting hair she has messed my daughter hair up, she had to get a co worker to help and it still is not what she wanted, they cut her bangs to short and she is in depression as it is and now she came to me crying and is not happy. She wanted to get color and they told her it would take 6 to 7 hours to do color. She has to be at work at 1230. I have done hair for many years but I am unable to do it now due to an accident. And I have never done color that took 6 or 7 hours. It cost her 30 dollars for a haircut that she nor I am happy with. 10/19/2019 9am, I would like a refund and you may need to hire someone in management that knows how to do hair. Very dissatisfied. Will never go back again

I will never step foot into a fantastic sams again evendently you know know nothing about hair either the lady told my daughter it would take 6 to 7 hours to do the color we made an appt for 9 am to do color and cut! And it cost her 30 bucks for a messed up hair cut and I am being nice about that I did hair for 20 years so I k ow it don’t take 6 or 7 hours to color I am not stupid thank you for your time and best believe I will NOT recommend your place to no one !

it wasn't just a bad hair cut the stylist was not listening when she told her what she wanted and she normally has long bangs but not now they are short and they are chopped up and as far as the color she had appt for the color at 9 am but when arrived they told her it would take 6 to 7 hours.

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color payment and service

I got charged more than what I should have on my card my total was $94 and I told him I was paying three different ways and they charged my card twice for $40 and then 14 something and I called them to have them fix it and she told me it wasn't her problem that I paid the $94 and their computer went down two or three times that night and the card that the $40 was supposed to come off of went through and then my card was she told me there was $4 and some change left so I paid that on my card and tip and when I called to talk to her about it she really basically didn't care I didn't have that $40 on my card for them to take off the basically they screwed me royally

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color haircut

I went in to the fantastic Sam's in ne brainerd mn I asked for a trim with the clippers to bring my hair down to a half inch. The lady that was cutting my hair literally shaved my head down to the skin before I realized what she was doing. She than proceeds to totally chop my invert style into a box shape saying she is trying to level it out. I paid her the $8 and left crying. I went to the Baxter mn location to have the manager attempt to make this look better. I ended up buying a wig to cover this up. Then Friday the 11th of October my sister went in to have her perm fixed that they messed up and she expressed that my hair was beyond butchered and terrible the staff at the Baxter location proceeds to talk about my hair staying I'm over reacting to been shaved to the skin and laughing about this situation in front of my sister! I am beyond offended and will never step foot in these locations again. And I'm waiting to find out from my attorney if legal action can be taken being I was bad mouthed and slandered in front of other customers including my sister. This is their mistake and a massive one at that.

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color perm

I had a perm put on my hair by Nikki Sherback, she fried my hair! After a week I went back, I had to have
1 1/2 cut off my hair! My hair is still damaged! I feel I am owed a refund for this huge mistake! My thoughts are if she hadn't take 5 cigarette breaks I might not have the mess I do! I told the manager about it, she told me all I could do was talked to corporate! YES I am very upset!

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color customer service at a hair salon

I made an appointment at 5:30 on October 5th at the Battlefield Parkway in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia location Fantastic Sams and when I had gotten there the store manager was the one in charge name Cristia she was the one to cut my hair. she was already complaining about how i had made an appointment at that time and that she could not eat her food. she sat me in the chair and then told me to never make an appointment at this time again and just was complaining the whole time. And kept checking her phone to see what time it was and to check her notification but when she got done with my hair I left and that's when I realize she had messed up on my hair so bad it looked like complete crap. This is unacceptable customer service especially to be a store manager and VERY unprofessional !

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color I asked for a boliage for my daughters hair.

The stylist Christina was showed a picture and asked if she could do my daughters hair this way she said yes and when It was done it was ash and mostly blonde. It was not what I asked for at all. I asked her for dark at the root and to melt into the ends.

She charged me almost $300 dollars. Rediculous!

Then I complained and told her that the color was wrong and she said to bring her back and she would fix it the next day she worked.

So we returned the put the darker color in however the color she added she did not do a good job of melting into the ends. So the ends were no longer blonde.

On top of that she had the nerve to charge me again 60.00. Because she used product. Well she wouldn't be using product if she would have gotten it right the first time.

I'm just so disappointed and my daughters hair is damaged because it's been died too many times and it didn't look great for pictures.

First 2 pictures is what I asked for 2nd two pictures is where she colored mostly brassy blonde then the last picture she added dark at the top but the blend toward the bottom she covered the blonde highlighted areas leaving it Ashey grey. My daughter is 16 and very unhappy ☹️ after spending close to 400.00

I will never ever trust fantastic Sam's for hair dye again!

I am expecting every penny refunded.

Did you get any response. I just paid $150 and had to spend 2 days in the salon (5 hours each day) as the stylist/owner colored my hair multiple times. As I think back I think she applied color 11 times! She was terrible and my hair is red now! I asked for blonde highlights on my med. brown hair. My hair is extremely damaged and I look terrible.

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color I was manager and I never received and if my bonus that I should have gotten off do bringing the business from 8,000-10,000.

They did not bring my offer letter till I already worked there as manager after asking for it several times. Then told me I could not receive my bonus because they never give me an offer letter yet 2 months after I started.
Then I stepped down as stylist cause I needed a pay check because my husband was haveing surgery. They the sign on bonus we was promised after working there 90 days we would get 250$ every 90 days. They told me I was only going to get 125$ of that and I reminded to put on my check and they said it had to wait till the next pay check so me being tired of getting ripped off. Me seeing my pay check where the over time I had worked was only 2 hrs on my check and it should of been 10 hrs. They did not pay me correctly they are stealing from the employee. I am not the only one there will be other complaints. Smuka is a thief. Now my last pay check had no bonus at all on it not a dime.

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color haircut

I came into the salon on Monday around 430pm. All I needed was a simple trim. The Asian lady told me that what I wanted was not possible and to make things even she would need to cut my hair. And when she showed me it was about 4 inches that she was suggesting i cut off. Instead of listening to my gut feeling I let her start to trim my hair. I had my three kids with me who were ready to leave by the time I was done so I paid and left. When I got home I noticed how uneven and choppy my ends were. I called to see what could be done and they said to come back tomorrow. So I did. Came back and requested my money back. The Asian lady then tried to tell me it was my fault my hair turned out the way it did was nothing she had done and said to come back at 1pm to speak to the owner. So I do, I came back at 1 and that is when the owner informed me they do not do refunds and was also extremely rude. And that they didn't have another stylist who could fix my hair till Friday because the only other employee had to take off for a family emergency. When I asked what time Friday they could not come up with a time and kept saying "I don't know" or "I have no answers" then proceed to tell me "I got a discount what did you expect" uhm 1. I asked how much a trim was. And 2. I did not ask for any discount. I left the store in tears and hoping the other stylist will be back on Friday or before my "7 day guarantee"

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color overcharge fraud

My 15 yr old son went in for a haircut at your orchard trail location last week. I paid $15 on my discover card and left a $4 tip in cash for the hairdresser. I was charged $22 on my credit statement. I want a refund for the amount I SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN CHARGED!
If this isnt resolved by end of next week, I will file a formal complaint and contact the BBB. The $7 that was charged extra to me without my consent really just makes me mad that someone thinks they can take advantage of me.
This is fraud.

I went for all over hair colour on friday 6/10/2022. I called before and confirmed the price as 59.99. When I had my service done stylist asked whether to dry my hair as the water is draining from my hair. Generally it is common to dry hair after wash right !

She clearly said it was free and not gonna charge for it. When I came to pay bill she said the total was 128$. She added 32.99 for blow dry and 30+$ for colour which is meaningless. She clearly decieved me. When I called the store next day to complain about it to the manager she hung up phone on me which is very rude. Please look into the issue and help me

Last time for hair above collar all over color w blow dry was 40$. This time hair same.. was 70$. Asked manager John and couldn't get a streight answer out of him.. he said basically color was 40 and a blow dry was 20.. which is crazy in itself. I asked if he could tell me why I was charged 40 the 1st time and 70 the 2nd and he said he could not that the salon works on a slide. That everyone can slide whatever price they want. I went in thinking I was paying 40. I got ripped off. Worst is mgr doesnt care..wont look me up and said priced slide there. When I got home to rinse my hair the next day orange hair color was all over my towel and in the shower, she had not even rinsed me good. The color I asked for is not the color I got. I am req a refunfld
