FamilyTime Disappointing Experience with FamilyTime: A Review of the Parental Control App

I recently tried out FamilyTime and I have to say, it was a bit of a letdown. I had been using Qustodio for a while and wanted to see if there was something better out there. Unfortunately, I found that FamilyTime just didn't live up to my expectations.

When I first checked out the features page on their website, I was impressed by the long list of features they offered. However, after downloading the app, I quickly realized that many of these features didn't actually work on my iOS device. I reached out to their customer support team through live chat and they sent me a link to a compatibility chart that I had to search for on their site. It would have been much more helpful if this information was readily available on the features page.

To make matters worse, some of the features that didn't work on iOS were actually pretty important to me. For example, I couldn't turn off individual apps - it was all or nothing. I also couldn't monitor internet activity or use the internet filter. And to top it off, the location tracking feature never seemed to work properly.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with FamilyTime. It just didn't offer the level of control and monitoring that I was looking for. I'll be going back to Qustodio for now.

FamilyTime FamilyTime App Review: Disappointing Experience with iOS Compatibility and Refund Policy

This app, FamilyTime, unfortunately doesn't work as smoothly as advertised with iOS. I was disappointed to find out that most of the monitoring and filtering features are not available on iOS due to what they call "Apple's privacy issues". This information was not mentioned on their website, which was frustrating. I spent some time trying to make it work and even spoke with tech support, but in the end, I requested a refund. However, I was told that because I had used a discount code, I wasn't eligible for a free trial or a refund. This was confusing because the discount code was on their website with no mention of it being non-refundable.

On an iPhone, the app only really does location finding, which I couldn't even get to work properly because it kept prompting me to set up more areas. This feature can be done for free with Apple's Find My app and Google Maps. I was able to set up screen time, but again, this can be done for free through Apple's Family Time. Unfortunately, monitoring texts, emails, contacts, calls, etc. cannot be done with this app on iOS.

I was surprised to see that this app had high ratings because my experience was far from positive. I would recommend avoiding this app and looking into Bark instead, which was recommended to me by a friend.

FamilyTime FamilyTime App Review: Technical Issues and Poor Customer Service

At first glance, FamilyTime seemed like a great app for keeping track of my kids' whereabouts. However, after using it for a few days, I encountered a number of frustrating issues. For one, the geolocation feature didn't seem to work properly. Even though my kids were in the same location, the app showed them as being far apart from each other. Additionally, my own location was always displayed as being in a different city than where I actually was.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but the problems persisted. Eventually, I decided to reach out to FamilyTime's support team to see if they could help. They told me that I could request a refund if I wasn't satisfied with the app, so I decided to give it a try.

Unfortunately, things didn't go smoothly from there. After sending a request to the billing team, I didn't hear back from them for several days. When I followed up, they seemed to be trying to avoid the issue by asking me what the problem was and offering to help. I reiterated that I wanted to cancel my subscription and receive a refund, but they told me that I wasn't entitled to one because I had used a 40% discount code.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience using FamilyTime. While the app seemed promising at first, the technical issues and poor customer service left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. If you're considering using this app, I would recommend proceeding with caution and being aware of the potential pitfalls.

FamilyTime FamilyTime App Review: Terrible Company with Automatic Renewal Scam and No Refund Policy

This company, FamilyTime, is not good at all. I didn't even know that the app would renew automatically and they charged my credit card without my permission. I have been trying to get a refund since April 22nd of 2018, but they haven't given me my money back yet. They charged my card on April 12th, 2018, and I have sent them many emails, but they keep saying that they forwarded my info to the billing department and that I will receive a refund in 3 to 4 days. It's been a long time and I still haven't received my refund. They say that you can cancel the app anytime, but there is no way to do it. I have reported them to the BBB, but they still haven't done anything about it.

I saw on their website that they are headquartered in Tokyo Metropolis, but there is no address listed. This app and company should be shut down. I logged into my account tonight and they still haven't cancelled the app, and it still shows that it is active! I really want my $35 back, but I am starting to not care anymore. I just want this app cancelled! I think I need to tell my credit union to block them and not let them charge my card. This app doesn't work the way it's supposed to. DO NOT USE IT! I had to rate it with a star, but if it was up to me, they would get a big fat zero!

FamilyTime FamilyTime App Review: A Total Scam - Don't Waste Your Time or Money!

I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend downloading FamilyTime (familytime.io) at all. It might work okay for a little while, but then it'll just straight up LOCK DOWN your phone and your kid's phone. And let me tell you, trying to fix that mess is a nightmare. We tried to get in touch with the developer to sort it out, but they didn't seem to care at all once they had our money. I mean, we even asked for a refund and cancellation, but that was a lost cause. They just took our money and ran.

I've got a whole bunch of messages and screenshots to prove it, but it doesn't seem to matter. They charged us for another year even though we asked them not to. And good luck trying to talk to a real person about it - there's nobody available to help. I've been bounced around from one person to another, and nobody seems to know what to do.

So yeah, take my advice and steer clear of this app. It's not worth the hassle or the money. It's a total scam, and you and your family deserve better than that.

FamilyTime FamilyTime App Review: Unreliable Features and Terrible Customer Service

I recently tried out FamilyTime, an app that claims to help parents keep an eye on their children's phone activity. I opted for the Premium Service, which promised a range of features to help me monitor my child's phone. However, I was disappointed to find that most of these features simply didn't work.

Despite contacting FamilyTime's customer service team multiple times, I was unable to get any of the features to function properly. I even tried calling them, but was unable to get through to anyone. It was frustrating to spend so much time and money on a service that simply didn't deliver.

Eventually, I decided to ask for a refund and cancel my service. However, this proved to be just as difficult as getting the app to work in the first place. I was told that my request would be forwarded to the "BILLING DEPARTMENT" (which I'm not entirely convinced exists), but I received no response for over a week. When I followed up, I was met with rudeness and hostility from the customer service team.

Overall, I would not recommend FamilyTime to anyone. The app is unreliable and the customer service is terrible. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this company and app like the plague.

FamilyTime Disappointing Customer Service: My Experience with FamilyTime App Refund Request

I recently downloaded and paid for the FamilyTime app on my daughter's phone. However, I soon realized that some of the features were only available for Android operating systems. I contacted the company within three hours of purchase, asking for a refund. Unfortunately, I was refused and given a link to their refund policy, which covers just about any situation whereby one would be entitled to a refund.

I was disappointed with the company's response, as I felt that I had a valid reason for requesting a refund. I understand that there are certain situations where a refund may not be possible, such as when the child's phone does not have internet access or when the customer does not follow the installation guidelines. However, I don't think that my situation falls under any of these categories.

I was also frustrated by the fact that the company does not support certain operating systems, such as Symbian Belle, Windows Phone, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry 10, or Bada. As a customer, I feel that it is important to be aware of these limitations before making a purchase.

Overall, I regret dealing with this company and would not recommend their services to others. While I understand that there may be certain circumstances where a refund is not possible, I feel that my situation was not one of them. My purchase confirmation Order ID is FAM***694-***.

FamilyTime FamilyTime Review: Disappointing Features, Bedtime Glitches, and Poor Customer Support

When I first got FamilyTime for my daughter's iPad, I had a bit of trouble adding it. It was a bit confusing at first, but I eventually figured it out. However, I was disappointed to find out that it doesn't track what she's doing or how much time she spends on her iPad. I also noticed that it doesn't have all the same features as the Android version.

After a week or so of having it on my son's phone, I started having issues with the bedtime feature. It kept saying it was bedtime when it wasn't, even though I had turned off the bedtime setting in my parent control and synced it repeatedly. I even tried power cycling the phone, but nothing worked. It was frustrating because it wasn't even within the time frame that I had set for bedtime. It was like that all day on a Saturday. I wasted so much time trying to turn it off that I eventually had to delete his phone from the app and re-add it. Unfortunately, the same thing happened on my other son's phone about a week later. I tried to turn it off and change all the settings, but it wouldn't work, so I had to delete it too.

To make matters worse, I realized that FamilyTime wasn't tracking my daughter's usage on her iPad, even when I synced it. This was a big problem because I wanted to make sure she wasn't spending too much time on it. I also noticed that the SOS or notification to contact a parent didn't work. If the phone was set to bedtime and it wasn't supposed to be, my kids couldn't call me or even press the button to contact me. This was a safety issue because if they were out somewhere and it wasn't bedtime, they couldn't access anything on their phone or contact me if they needed to.

Overall, FamilyTime didn't work like it was supposed to, and the chat support was useless. They couldn't help me and told me to email them, but they never responded. To make matters worse, they refused to refund me because I had used a discount. They said they wouldn't refund if purchased at a discounted rate, which was frustrating.

I eventually switched to Kaspersky Safe Kids, which is free and works much better. I would not recommend FamilyTime to anyone because it doesn't work and they don't stand by their product.

FamilyTime FamilyTime App Review: A Total Disaster for iPhone Users - Don't Waste Your Money!

This app is a total disaster! I tried to use it on two iPhones and it just doesn't work. They say you get a free trial for three days, but that's a lie. When I asked for a refund on the third day, they refused to give me my money back. They trick you into thinking you're getting a discount, but it's really just an upgrade and you get charged right away. They don't tell you this when you install it.

If you're using an iPhone, here's what you can expect:

1. The features are not very good. I have an iPhone 6S with the latest iOS 10.2.1 and it's not robust enough.
2. To get the same features as Android, you have to jailbreak your phone.
3. Even if you jailbreak it, the features are not as good as they are on Android.
4. The location services don't work properly. I can only track the device when it's at my home, even though I've set up a geo-fence around my kids' school.
5. If the location services don't work, then the SOS and Pickup features won't work either.
6. I can't see how much time my kids are spending on each app.
7. I can't monitor their text messages.
8. I can't monitor their call log.
9. I can't monitor their emails.
10. I can't set specific time frames for each app.

In short, FamilyTime is not a good choice for parental control on iOS. Don't make the same mistake I did. They lie to you, their customer service is terrible, and the app just doesn't work. Look for a different solution.

FamilyTime FamilyTime Review: Bait and Switch Tactics and No Refunds - Not Recommended

I recently tried out FamilyTime and was disappointed with my experience. At first, I was intrigued by the free trial period that was advertised on their website. However, when I attempted to sign up for the trial, I was met with a ZenDesk chatbox that offered me a discount link. I clicked on the link, thinking it would still lead me to the trial period, but instead, my card was charged immediately. I was frustrated that there was no warning about this switch and that I was not given the option to try out the app before committing to a payment.

To make matters worse, I discovered that per-app control was not available on FamilyTime, which was a dealbreaker for me. I reached out to customer support to request a refund because of this missing feature, but was told that no refunds would be given. They directed me to their refund policies, which stated that they would hold 40% of my subscription if I realized that a certain feature was not available on my child's device after purchasing. I was left wondering where my 60% refund was and feeling frustrated with the lack of transparency.

What bothered me most about my experience with FamilyTime was the bait and switch tactics they used. They offered a trial period, but then quickly switched me to another rate with immediate payment. Additionally, there were no refunds available, leaving me feeling like I had been taken advantage of. I was also concerned that the company is based in Japan, which could make it difficult to seek recourse through US channels like Apple, BBB, or usa.gov. Even trying to get a refund through my bank was complicated, as FamilyTime stipulated that they would hold 60% of my subscription if I attempted to file a fraud claim.

Overall, I would not recommend FamilyTime to others. Their tactics felt dishonest and their lack of refunds was frustrating. If you're considering using this app, be wary of the discount links they offer and make sure to thoroughly research the app's features before committing to a payment.

FamilyTime FamilyTime App Review: Terrible Experience and Unreliable Customer Service

I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with FamilyTime. I mean, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I tried it out, but it just didn't work for me. I ended up going with Google's app instead, which is totally free and way better.

But here's the thing - FamilyTime charged me ?79 for this year, even though I asked them to cancel my subscription last year. I mean, come on! I opened a ticket on Jan 4th, and they've been giving me all sorts of excuses for the last 3 months. And get this - you can't even call them! The only way to reach their support team is through chat. But even then, they'll tell you to email the refund team. And then one of the support team members will email you back saying that your request is "in progress."

Honestly, it's just a bunch of lies and it's really disgusting. I wouldn't trust them at all. My advice? Just avoid the app altogether.

FamilyTime Disappointed with FamilyTime? Try Edwin Consult for better phone monitoring

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with FamilyTime. I mean, first off, you gotta install it on the person's phone you wanna keep tabs on. Like, come on, who has time for that? And then, after all that hassle, all I could see were a few pictures and like, five contacts from my husband's phone. What a waste of money, honestly.

But then, I was so fed up that I decided to hire a professional to help me out. Luckily, I saw someone recommend Edwin consult on here, so I hit them up on WhatsApp at ***045. They only needed my husband's cell number, and within an hour, I could see everything - text messages, call logs, emails, WhatsApp convos, iMessages, you name it. It was a total game-changer.

Honestly, if you're looking for a better way to keep tabs on someone, I'd definitely recommend Edwin consult. You can even call them at ***269 or email them at ***@gmail.com. Trust me, it's worth it.

FamilyTime FamilyTime App Review: Terrible Customer Service and Unfair Charges

I ain't happy with FamilyTime. I paid for a whole year of their service in December 2018, but the app didn't work right on one of my kid's phones. So, I told them to cancel the service, but I didn't ask for a refund. Then, a year later, I checked my credit card bill for December 2019 and saw that they charged me for another year! I was mad as hell, so I emailed their customer support right away, asking them to cancel the service and give me my money back for that new charge. I mean, I didn't even use the service during the whole year that I paid for before!

It's been over a month now, and I've contacted them like a dozen times, but they still haven't given me my refund! They're straight-up stealing from me!

Every time I email them, they just send me some generic response that doesn't even address my issue. It's like they don't even care about their customers. I wouldn't recommend FamilyTime to anyone. They're a bunch of crooks.

FamilyTime Stay Away from FamilyTime App: Bad Experience and Blackmailing for Refund

I had a really bad experience with FamilyTime (familytime.io) just like many others. I've been trying to get my money back for months now, even though I cancelled the app on time and they told me everything was fine. I was skeptical because I kept getting emails from them. They said it would take 21-15 days to process my refund, then a week, and now they keep telling me to give them one more chance to resolve my issue. They even said the billing manager himself is taking care of it and I'll be refunded within 24 hours. When I asked for the manager's name, they gave me random names that didn't match.

But today was the worst. They told me I'll only get my refund if I delete my negative review on Google Play Store. This is stealing and blackmailing! I can't believe they would do something like this. I would advise everyone to stay away from this app, even the supposed free trial period.

I'm really disappointed with FamilyTime and their customer service. It's frustrating to deal with them and I feel like they're not being honest with me. I hope others can learn from my experience and avoid this app.

FamilyTime Disappointing App: Setup Process a Pain, Limited Functionality, and Poor Support

This app is a complete letdown. I was really excited to try it out, but it turned out to be a total nightmare. The setup process was a real pain, and it took me ages to get it installed on my son's Android device. When it finally started working, it was okay for a few days, but then it just stopped working altogether after an update. Now it's causing all sorts of problems, like locking his device when it shouldn't be locked.

I was also really disappointed to find out that the app doesn't do everything that the website says it does. For example, it's supposed to lock the iPad, but it only blocks certain apps. And even worse, it leaves Sky Go kids accessible, which defeats the whole purpose of trying to restrict access. My kids are still too young to know how to work around these kinds of restrictions, but I wouldn't be surprised if older kids could figure it out pretty easily.

And don't even get me started on the so-called 24/7 support. That's a complete lie. I've tried to get in touch with them several times, but I've never been able to reach anyone outside of working hours. It's really frustrating, especially when you're having problems with the app and you need help right away.

Overall, I really regret downloading this app. I wish I had read some reviews before I did, because I definitely wouldn't have wasted my time and money on it. Don't believe all the positive reviews you see online - this app is a real disappointment.

FamilyTime FamilyTime Review: Unreliable App and Terrible Customer Service

So, I tried out FamilyTime for my kids and I gotta say, it wasn't all that great. My kids complained about it all the time, not because it did what it was supposed to do, but because it would sometimes not turn back on when their free time was scheduled. It was a real bummer, and we ended up ditching it after a couple of months, even though we had a whole year subscription.

But the real kicker was when it came time to renew. I sent instructions to cancel the subscription 10 days before it was set to renew, and I even got confirmation that it was canceled. But then, they went ahead and charged me for another year anyway! I was so mad. I asked for a refund, and they said it would take 15-20 days. But then I asked again, and they said it would only take 4-5 days. What a bunch of lies! Another 20 days went by, and they said the refund was processing, but it wasn't. I was starting to feel like I was never going to get my money back.

But then, I decided to get my credit card company involved. I contacted Discover Card, and they immediately processed my dispute and refund. I was so relieved! I can't recommend Discover Card enough. But as for FamilyTime, I say stay away! They'll never let you go once they've got you hooked on their subscription.

FamilyTime Unethical Business Practices: My Disappointing Experience with FamilyTime

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with FamilyTime. I thought I was getting a great deal with their discount code, but little did I know that it would come with a catch. Apparently, if you use a discount code, they won't give you a refund no matter what. That's just not fair, you know? I tried talking to their chat support a bunch of times, but they never fixed my issues. They just kept sending my problem to the support department, and I never heard back from them. It's been days and I still haven't gotten confirmation that my subscription has been cancelled.

What really gets me is how they push these discount codes so hard. They have pop-up chats on their website that practically beg you to use them. But they don't tell you that there's no trial period and that you won't get a refund if you use one. That's just not right. It's like they're trying to trick you into signing up for something you might not even want.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend FamilyTime to anyone. Their refund policy is bogus, their support is unhelpful, and their business practices are just plain unethical. Save yourself the trouble and look for a different app to use.

FamilyTime FamilyTime App Review: Terrible Customer Support and False Claims

So, I decided to give FamilyTime a try after reading some reviews online. But boy, was I in for a surprise! The app didn't work properly from day one, and I had to cancel my trial. But guess what? The company still went ahead and charged me for nothing! I've been trying to get my refund for ages now, but they keep putting me off. It's frustrating, to say the least.

The worst part is that the company claims that their app is amazing, but it's far from it. It doesn't do half of what they claim it does. And their customer support is terrible too. You can only contact them through chat, and there's no phone number to call. And if you want to speak to a manager, forget it! Once they have your money, they don't care about you anymore.

I'm warning you, stay away from this app. It's a complete joke. Don't waste your time or money on it.

FamilyTime FamilyTime App Review: Terrible Customer Service and Refund Policy

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with FamilyTime. I signed up back in March of 2018 and shelled out $35 CAD for a subscription. I was hoping it would be the perfect app to keep an eye on my daughter's phone usage, but boy was I wrong. As soon as I installed it on her phone, I knew it wasn't what we needed. So, I shot off an email to FamilyTime on March 22nd, asking for a refund since the app didn't meet our requirements.

At first, they said they'd process the refund in a couple of weeks. But, as you can probably guess, that didn't happen. Every month, I'd send them another email, asking about the refund, and every time, they'd give me the same old runaround. It's now September, and I've lost count of how many reminders I've sent. They keep telling me they've forwarded my request to the billing team, but I'm starting to think that team doesn't even exist.

I've asked them for a phone number so I can talk to someone directly, but they haven't given me one. It's like they're hiding behind their computer screens, not caring at all about their customers. They say you can try the app for free, but once they've got your money, they're outta there. Don't waste your hard-earned cash on these terrible people.

FamilyTime FamilyTime App Review: Useless Parental Control App with Poor Support and No Transparency

This app, FamilyTime, is supposed to be a parental control app, but it's completely useless. My daughter, who is only 13 and definitely not a Russian hacker, was able to uninstall it within two days. What's the point of having an app like this if it's so easy to get rid of? It's supposed to help parents keep their kids safe, but it's not doing its job.

I reached out to their support team, and while they do answer 24/7, the quality of their support is really poor. They never solved any of my issues, and I was left feeling frustrated and helpless. I eventually canceled my premium subscription and asked for a refund, which they granted me. However, I never received any money back. For the past three months, I've been writing to them every 2 or 3 days, and they keep telling me that my refund is in the last stage of the process. It's been going on for three months now, and I feel like they're just making fun of me.

When I asked for the address of their registered office and the name of a legal representative of their company, they refused to give me that information. I couldn't find it on their website either. It makes me wonder why they're being so secretive.

Overall, I would advise anyone to stay away from these people. The app doesn't work, and their support team is unhelpful. Plus, they're not transparent about their company information. It's just not worth the hassle.
