I was falsely led to believe I would get 2 - $100.00 a Walmart Gift Cards to spend on anything I wanted to but instead I get some freaking things that I have to spend at least $100 on anything but food items and then I had to send in receipts showing that I followed directions plus it could take up to 6 weeks to get a $25 gift card for Walmart (I got 4 coupons) but could only send in one a month. This a a scam and I want my money back. I am cancelling my membership as of now DO NOT CHARGE ME FOR ANYTHING ELSE.

faulty advertising and debitting my acct for unauthorized charges
A telemarketer called me trying to sell me this great deal that would provide me discounts on my groceries and if I tried it for 30 days at a $4.95 charge, I could get 2-$100 Walmart gift cards; and cancel the service if I didnt like it. I was on the phone with her for a long time because I am always wary of these "deals" and at the end of it, the above was promised. When I gave my debit card, I heard a bunch of weird "noises" (not human), she said stay on the line, ("We got cut off") and toward the end of this miserable experience, I heard her say I had just agreed to something that I had not and did not agree to anything other than the one $4.95 charge. Well, not only did this useless family shopping club info come, but also a DiscountTravelLeisure info. Before the info showed up in the mail, I checked my debits and found another $4.95 charge for the DiscountTravelLeisure Club which wasnt authorized. I called the FamilyShopping Club line above and they referred me to DiscountTravelLeisure Club's # [protected] which I called. Had to leave a message and and had no return call. As for the promises given to me over the phone of 2-$100 Walmart gift cards ended up being a chance for a$25 Gift Card to either Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Sears, Barnes & Nobles and Toys R Us AFTER I SPENT OVER $100 at one of the stores. I told her at the beginning I was unemployed and HAD NO MONEY TO BUY ANYTHING FIRST TO GET SOMETHING LATER1 This is fraudulent and I didnt sign up for this. I will now try to find how to cancel this before they automatically charge my acct $29.95 monthly. NO NO NO! I DO NOT WANT THIS SERVICE! I should get my $4.95 back too because what they said I would get is NOT what I got. and they were sneaky and charged me another $4.95 for something I didnt agree to and it would have been 3 charges if I hadnt caught it at the end of our miserable phone conversation.
I just experienced the exact same situation as other people. I was told I could get a month of Family Shopping for $2.95. Then the next day I was charged $2.95 and another $19.95 for a month at Family Shopping Club and another $19.95 a month for a "Recreational Savings Club" which I was never told about nor did I agree to it. I am going to block them at my bank tomorrow morning and file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
Same exact scenario but with a little different twist. I AGREED to only ONE shopping club 2 week trial offer for a ONE TIME payment fee of $4.95. The Family Shopping Club Membership Information Card IMMEDIATELY (2-3 days) ARRIVED in my mailbox! There WAS NOT a $100.00 cash gift card for selected stores! But 4 individual pre-tentative $25.00 Gift Cards that you CAN ONLY OBTAIN IF you spend $100.00 at a whack at "THEIR" SIX listed stores! As I recall they verbally stated in phone conversation a mega amount of stores NOT 6 that you can use this "free 100 gift card! So WTF is this BS! Next day I'm doing my ON-LINE BANKING, and HOLY ###!, NOT ONLY did they charge my account $4.95 ONCE BUT TWICE! For a second plan that I NEVER ORDERED. Here's the icing on the cake: Within 5, yes FIVE days, they helped themselves to charging my account $19.95 NOT ONCE BUT TWICE! NEVER EVER DID THEY GIVE ME THE 14 DAY TRIAL PERIOD BEFORE CHARGING MY ACCOUNT! (NOTE TO ALL: ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS HAVE YOUR PERSONAL BANK BLOCK THEIR INCOMING RAPING PAYMENT FROM YOUR ACCOUNT AND YOU'LL BE GOOD TO GO!)
I see a debit on my account for which I have no idea HOW it got there I DID NOT ENROLL IN ANY SHOPPING CLUB. via online or any other way. When I try to log onto their site, I am unable to access any of their links. Great way to make money u JAS'

FamilyShoppingClub.com called me and offered gift cards and etc. I agreed to pay for shipping. A month later they somehow get my credit card number and charged me $60. I will send all the gift cards them back if only they return me the money.
I was charged $1.95 on my credit card for $100 gift card for Wal-Mart. Supposed to be here within 7-8 days. Talked to them on phone 12-8-16. Where is my gift card?they tried to get me to pay$2.95 for some thing else but I said NO JUST WANTED THE $100 gift card. Called today were closed. I too have been getting unauthorized charges on my checking account. I had agreed with the shipping fee for $4.95 and now I am being charged a few times a month for different amounts and not receiving anything in the mail! I already got a new checking/credit card through bank of america with a whole new number and these budget savers, family shopping clubs, and discount leisures have still been able to make charges on my check card! I called the budget savers monthly and thought I made it clear that I wanted this so called membership to be cancelled but they seem to think they can just keep charging me at their leisure. I don't know what to do or how to fix this but something needs to be done about this and I want and need my money back because I am not even getting anything in return. They are basically stealing from me...what do I do to fix this? Can anyone help me please? Thanks! -Emily Wallace
