Family Dollarchestnut hill flour

Purchased the flour from Family Dollar at Virgie, Ky. Refrigerated my floor I purchased until use. November 25th, 2019 . Wanted to fix Chef Boyardee pizza using the flour purchased to roll out the dough from this pizza kit. To find bugs in the flour, ruining the pizza I purchased. Also ruining my appetite for the rest of the day. This had made me sick to my stomach. To find that others have experienced the same out of this product. Something should be done about it. Should atleast accommodate my pizza and flour bought. Bad experience.

Only way to keep bugs out of flour is to freeze it. Refrigerating it does nothing because flour is too good of an insulator, plus flour is packaged in paper bags, which doesn't do much to keep bugs out. Also you should have checked your flour before mixing it with another product.

@Kmart 9459 Should've done alot.Noone can be as thoughtful as you. Shouldn't have bought that flour to begin with. Just purchased the flour. The bugs were purchased already in the flour. Wasn't expecting bugs to be in the flour. Like you can see them clearly covered in flour Smartass.

@Distorted77 All flour just like all chocolate incase you didn't know has bugs in it, and can not be sifted out entirely. There are precautions you can take, but no guarantees. Even freezing and putting it in a food grade plastic container will not guarentee the flour is bug free because the eggs exist inside the flour kernel on a microscopic scale. Also if you ever ate any baked product ever you have ate bug eggs and more than a couple.
