Family Dollar customer service

I just left Family Dollar store #167 on Savannah Hwy, 5/16/19 at 2:55pm. The cashier did not have on a name tag. But she served both me and the elderly lady in front of me who had numerous items, without speaking to either of us except to say the purchase total. However, she did talk with a male friend the entire time she served us both. She did this using her cell phone, which was laying next to the register, on SPEAKER. As if this wasn't rude enough, we were both also subjected to horrible language used by the person she was speaking with.

I don't need a refund. I would simply like to request that Family Dollar customers, especially elderly ones, not be treated so rudely by your employee or be subjected to the filthy mouth of her friend.

Family Dollar service

Can't believe you rather have drug dealers, alcoholics, beggers, theives, loitters, hanging around the store than those nice people (Jehovah Witnesses) who are just trying to teach the Bible. Thats what all those people need. They are not "peddlers" asking for money, but doing a community service. Not only that, they buy from your stores, take the shopping basket back for older costumers, and theives think twice, when they see them there before they think about robbing your store. Every store should want them there, because they are good people. They have been at the store at 3721A Campbellton rd. for years. Never saw or heard anything they did wrong. You people must not love GOD, drug addits.

Family Dollar complaint on tammy store representative

Family Dollar #5978
I visited this location at 8:00am to purchase a few items for my home. I noticed that Tammy seem to be following me from aisle to aisle, so I assured Tammy that I was not stealing-I frequent this store often and always pay for my items. Tammy stated to me, "People like you disgust me!" I was taken back by that comment, bc it was unwarranted. I asked Tammy is that how one should conduct herself at work or on the street. Tammy repeated the comment of "People like you disgust me!" I paid for my items and left the store. I was appalled when I left the store. I am an African American Female and Tammy is a Caucasian Female-I don't know exactly what Tammy meant by her comment, but I do know it was unnecessary and unprofessional! Customer Service, and Multicultural Training is needed for this employee. -JJohnson

First of all, Many of people feel this way about "African Americans." when they frequent these stores. She had every right to feel this way. Even if the comment was made, "so I assured Tammy that I was not stealing-I frequent this store often and always pay for my items." I see no problem in the comment. She is entitled to say what she wants and feels. She has that right to Freedom Of Speech. She could have been followed for a number of reasons that were probably not mentioned. However, Feeling uncomfortable is how I took the situation. I guess the better term would be to ask, "are you following me?" and for what reason? No need to assume that because of the color of her skin that she is being racially profiled. I frequent all the Family Dollar stores and the employees respect me they approach me to say, "we have some good clearances coming up soon and so on." I know this situation is different. I find it hard to believe, That if you frequent would the store often. The employees would know there frequent customers. This is impossible for them to follow you and assume that you are stealing by the color of your skin. It had to be more to this comment than what the writer is not telling and or sharing to the readers. If I am wrong. God please forgive me. Please do not assume without asking. On the other hand, "You people disgust me" that's a strong accusation. I am sure if the employee made the comment. obviously she does not care about her job. God Bless you!

Family Dollar kassandra

Family Dollar Martin Luther King Blvd
Jersey City, New Jersey 07305

Kassandra has an attitude problem.
She refuses to take items out of shopping baskets.
Insisting customers place all goods on the counter before she will ring them up.
If she asked nicely, that would be another thing.
She is very rude and demands customers put goods on the counter.
She will stand there with her arms crossed, refusing to serve until they are.
Am I missing something?
Other cashiers are happy to ring goods up whether in a basket or not.

Maybe courtesy is something Family Dollar want to teach their employees?

I've never experienced someone refusing to ring items up, arms folded, until they were laid out on the counter.
Other FD cashiers are only too happy to ring things up whether in a basket or not.
The same with local supermarkets and stores.

I'm not pleased with FD's response.

Family Dollar (air wick) family dollar store#12229

I have been going to this new Family Dollar store# 12229 ever since it opened a few months ago. Family Dollar 11645 Tomball pkwy Houston, TX. I go into this store every 2 weeks to buy all my house supplies. For the past few months I have been purchasing Air Wick on the counter says $6.50 but when cashier rings it up, it comes out to $7.00. so for the past months I hadn't said nothing just because I don't want to walk back to the aisle and take picture of it. So yesterday I go to Family Dollar and same thing happens but I did take a picture this time, so I tell the cashier he then calls a guy named Dwade I explain to him showed him the picture I took but he didn't even bother to look at my phone. All he kept saying was I can't do nothing about it. I laughed because I thought he was playing. So I then tell him again why do yall have a price there for $6.50 but it's really $7.00. He didn't care what I had to say. I was really pissed. I tell him so what are you going to do? Are you going to ring it up at $6.50 he says I can't do nothing about it. I tell him that is why I took a picture of it so you can see the price. He again says I can't do nothing about it. That's when I told him can I talk to your manager. But he says he's the manager. His badge didn't say anything of manager. It only had his name which is Dwade. I did tell him I was going to report him but he didn't seem to care. There was 3 people in back of me waiting to pay, then he asks me so do you want it. I tell no I don't want it. I have attached your price for the Air Wick from the store. Just want to let you know I go to this store twice a month so I hope this can get taken care of because I buy this product every 2 weeks. That's not right having something priced at $6.50 then it rings up to $7.00. I hope next time I go to this store it rings up to the correct price this store has on their aisle.

Thanks,

Sylvia Villarreal

Family Dollar customer service

Went into the store @ 2611 N.E. 10th St in Oklahoma City on May 9, cashing out @ 19:58:23pm . Got a 4-pk of ice cream, priced $3.95, rang up $4.25. Cashier (male) checked price & walked back to register. Speaking in general I said it must ring up at displayed price. Female says "I think I know that, that's why they made me the manager." When I told her I was not speaking directly to her, just referring to my many years of retail experience, she made other rude comments, just very unprofessional. If she's the manager she should have been fixing the problem instead of talking smart. Training!

Family Dollar prices

Multiple stores in the Houston area have pricing issues. The shelf price vs the scan price. There is always a significant difference between the two averaging anywhere from .25 cent to a whole dollar. In most cases the store associates are aware they just argue that the scan price is correct and hardly ever want to honor the store price. Too many stores have this issue for it to be a small overlay. Family dollar is purposely scamming customers

Family Dollar 2nd time closing the store 30 minutes prior to their closing time

I go to family dollar alot. Its literally 1 min from where I live. This is the 2nd time I've been to where they have had the door locked earlier than supposed too. They close at 9 p.m and tonight I got there exactly at 7:28 and the doors was locked. It was two young people in there pulling the registers already. . customers outside knocked on the window and asked them why they have the doors locked if it wasn't time to close and the girl working literally shrugged her shoulders like she didn't know. Smh. Is there a reason why this store keeps closing earlier than the time they are supposed too? And this is the address of the store. 1920 E Gwinnett St, Savannah G.A, 31404

Family Dollar store is an absolute mess!

The Salina Utah, Store number 11000 this store is an absolute disaster, which in turn puts the safety of customers and employees. The employees seem over whelmed with the amount of mess, and there seems to very a HUGE lack of leadership in the management. The store manager doesn't seem to be the least bit concerned with the look of their store. I've had boxes almost fall on me, merchandise is stacked very tall. The entire store is a safety hazard.

Family Dollar hurt leg in store on a cart used to move frieght.

On Sat. May 4, 2019 between the hours of 2 p.m. and 2:29 p.m. I was in the Family Dollar at 166 Park Avenue Drew Mississippi I was in the back on the dog food out and there was a car that was parked back down that aisle used to transport or move around a stock well I was trying to get around it and I'm not sure how I bumped into the car but I bumped into the car missing up my leg well my leg was bleeding I went to the front of the store and I told the person who was on duty and he told me what was nothing we can do about it that's the way you need to do paperwork give me a Band-Aid and some Neosporin so I can put on my leg so it won't get infected with me being a diabetic I'm prone to infection so I don't want my leg to get infected he told me that I had to purchase my own after a brief talking to him about it I still ended up purchasing my own products for my leg well came home back to Memphis Tennessee and my doctor advised me that as long as I was taking care of it the way I was taking care of it and it healed properly it shouldn't set up infection while I feel like it was not handled properly in the store someone from somewhere actually needs to contact me pertaining to this issue.[protected]@gmail.com

Family Dollar disgusting store

I've been in this store a few times, and each time I go in the store looks like a tornado ripped through it. Is this a thing with these stores? Not all are like this but most are. I went into the Fulton, MO store to buy a phone, and just turned around and left. If a store looks like that I don't want to shop there because I'm sure if no one bothers to keep the shelves stocked and neat, they wouldn't bother to help you if asked! Saw this big dumb goof who was suppose to be working the register standing around doing nothing! Why is working or making an effort to tidy up so foreign to the young workers? They pretty much just stand around with their finger up their nose doing nothing else. A new store and it looks like a constant wreck! Some of the workers also spend way too much time outside smoking and ignoring people standing at the register, have experience that one too many times! Time wasted, money lost, revenue lost, stealing and I'm surprised these stores still manage to do business and stay in business.

Family Dollar clothing

To whom it may concern,

What I don't understand is you buy a certain item from Family Dollars, and for some reason you misplace or lose your receipt, your not able to exchange either your Clothing or your items, or giving a fitting room, to prevent bring clothes back, which don't understand. For example, its understanding if you buy something from Walmart and try to exchange it at Family Dollars, In this situation, this is ahuge difference. Furthermore, but come on, you're buying certain items or clothing from Family Dollar why not be able to return it regardless what Family Dollar you bought it from, the moral to this is all Family Dollars are Industry chain, is this correct or not. Therefore, doesn't matter what store is coming from as long as it says Family Dollars, In my opinion. In fact, another thing, either district managers or managers or store managers whichever are not doing their jobs, monitoring or observing their employees. Moreover, poor customer service, do not acknowledge customers while walking in the door, do not make you feel hospitality in these stories, sad 😥. In fact, Every Family Dollars that I've been in are rude, nasty, and are to comfort in their comfort zone and need to be awaking by their district managers. In fact, I want this to be known, because I was in your store today, May 4, 2019, Yes Family Dollars and was treated unfairly, rude, and nasty I don't think I want to come back to these stores, until manager and employee's are given disciplinary action.

Sincerely, Elena Ybarra

Family Dollar dangerous store condition

I love going to Family Dollar but not this one. (6579 W Colfax Ave, Lakewood CO 80214, next to the Casa Bonita.) The first time I went it was in bad shape but thought maybe I just went on a bad day. I had to go again since I was near by. It was worse! So again, maybe they are just working on it this month. I went a week ago and that was it! I will never go to this one again. It was even worse. You can't get into any isle, there are so many empty shelves, no cold food, dirty floors, food on the floor, don't have anything and it's dangerous. Boxes almost fell on me walking by or trying to walk by. How can they let it get this bad?
These photos are from the same day down every isle.

Family Dollar nasty 🤢 store conditions. no products on shelves

On this morning at 9:30am I went in the Family Dollar Store located at 6715 Mt. Zion Blvd. Morrow, Ga to get purchase a container of body wash. There was none on the shelves. Most of the shelves were empty, items out of place, no facing, nasty floors and items thrown everywhere. This location is a fairly nice area. "Unbelievable". I never want to visit this again, I'll do without.
