Family Dollar - abusive employee

I went to the store at lunch time on jan. 9 to shop for cleaning supplies and check out the reduced after-christmas items. First of all, before you even enter the store, there's a loud, threatening recording out in the parking lot screaming that you're being watched and recorded on videotape, etc. There's also a big sign on the door saying you can't bring bags into the store (no problem, as I didn't have any.) the inside of the store is cramped and dirty, with big piles of boxes everywhere. You can't even get down the back aisle. Although the young lady at the register seemed friendly enough, when I went into the back of the store, a large man I took to be the stock clerk came up to me out of the blue and started accusing me of shoplifting (I wasn't). Then he started ranting and berating me at length about picking things up off the shelves and moving them around, taking things across the store and putting them where they didn't belong (I wasn't. I wasn't touching anything at all.) the man acted very hostile and irrational and seemed to want to start a fight or something. I was so angry I left the store without buying anything. I will not be shopping at this store again. I used to work in retail myself, and if I had treated my customers that badly, I would have been fired. If family dollar is going to treat their customers like enemies, maybe they should just shut their stores down. They will not be missed.

Family Dollar - employee

Today I went into my neighborhood family dollar where I shop frequently never had issue until today I walk in to get household supplies and an employee by the name nicole Carroll told me I have to leave MY purse upfront I'm confused like why do I have leave my belongings upfront it's not a shopping bag from another store because if it was I usually will sit it upfront with no problem.. so I ask why do I have to leave my purse up front? Her response was because its large so I ask why no other family dollar suggested it? I'm completely appaulld and embarrass she made it seem like I was a thief which I'm not I came there to spend my hard earn money... I feel like because I was african American and it's a low income neighborhood she assumed that I will steal...that's not how you should treat your customers... oh she has a large bag she gonna steal no I have a large bag because that's what I like it's my style of fashion...is this a new rule assume a customer is gonna steal because their purse size or skin color ? she also was very rude and nasty .. I did leave out I feel like I'm not gonna spend my money some where if they cant trust me and why would I leave my purse up front with someone I don't know? I'm highly upset about this situation ..pls retrain your employees..
Thank you
