Family Dollar employee and overall store complaint

I visited the Family Dollar store on Ralph David Abernathy in Atlanta on 6/1/2019 between the time of 8:45pm and 9:00pm. The first thing is there were people right in front of the door with things they were trying to sell me before I could even go inside. Someone selling cakes and pies out fo their car trunk. Also someone else selling music cd's and dvd movies. Once I was inside Im looking for a shopping cart and there was only one. Some guy who was there doing some cleaning had just got that cart andwas putting his cleaning supplies in it so I asked him if I could use the cart and he told me he needed it so he could clean up and I said to him I am a customer and I need the cart to shop and he says yeah but I have to clean up and I state again I am a customer. Reluctantly he game me the cart. As I am shopping a female employee comes from the back and ask the cashier for a cart and she says we only have 2 and as Im shopping Im leaning on the cart and the female employee say "oh I see one but she is leaning on it" and I say to her I am leaning on because Im using it. As Im shopping there are 2 to 3 carts around the store filled with merchandise. This was a very aweful place to visit form the very beginning that I got out of my car. The staff was rude and they were allowing customers to be approached by people outside of the store. There was a lot of activity outside the front door that would make someone feel unsafe. I feel I picked the wrong Family Dollar that night. I shop at this chain on a regular basis and have never had to do a complaint but this store needs some attention from someone upwards of store management.

Family Dollar store card

I had to return some things accidentally left receipt in car they said oh it's ok. Very small store I remixed you would have taken 30 seconds they put my money on a gift card which I did not want as there were no other clothes that would fit her. I went to spend card would not scan. They said nothing they can do and I have to call and order a new card. Even though they gave me the messed up card or their messed up scanners. I don't have a number to call plus that policy is crap. They should have been able to give me new card right then. They called and knew the exact balance

Family Dollar isle/ shelves

I almost cut my foot from a big piece of broken glass that was I the floor! Not a happy customer. This Store is always messy and always boxes scattered everywhere that needs to be put up because we cam never ever find what we need on three shelves! The employee who was working there on 6/01/2019 around noon that day acted like he didn't care at all when we addressed him about everything. I don't think he likes working at all. Please fix because I am really thinking of going elsewhere to shop. I spend way too much money there to walk into something like this. Thank God I didn't cut my foot wide open!

Family Dollar management, customer service, prices, store appearance, and lack of shopping carts.

I go to the Family Dollar store at 2410 Hickman road, Des Moines, Iowa 50310. I shop there for the convenience and low prices. The past several times that I have shopped there have been very discerning. The appearance of the store has been in disarray with unpacked boxes throughout the store with bare shelves. There has no carts available for use and when I have asked for one I was told maybe I could find one outside or there isn't one of the 3 they have free for use. I am disabled and this is a huge problem for me to where I have to shop elsewhere. The appearance of some employees is unprofessional and lacking in customer service skills. An example is when I bought a gallon of milk, was refused a bag and told by the associate that I didn't need one and they were short on bags. Lastly, some of the items are advertised one price and ring up a different price. When asked why I was charged a different price I was told that they are working on getting the correct price on the shelf.

Family Dollar customer care

I went to this Family Dollar yesterday and as I was entering the store 2 employees were standing outside. One smoking and the other talking to the employee smoking. I was told I was not allowed to enter the store with my purse! Now mind you the purse I had was not oversized or by no way looked empty! I asked the employee why this is so! I've never heard of such a request! She preceded to tell me that all stores around town do this now which is funny being that I had just left the mall, Walmart and Super One and not one employee there refused me to enter with my purse! This is ridiculous! If you are worried about shoplifters, I suggest you hire employees that actually stay inside the store! As a customer, I was very offended and will not be back! Other people I have spoke with feel the same way! If this rule continues, I will not shop at this store anymore! Seriously, this is a good area and no need for this!

Family Dollar Parts missing from grill

I purchased a grill the day before memorial day I started putting it together the day of, only to realize not all the parts were in the box I am missing 1 hatch which connects the lid to the bottom I cooked on it anyway because 1- I had company already arriving and 2- the store was closed I would like a new grill or refund ASAP ---don't know why its asking me to type more or my review wont get publish so here gfhddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd

Family Dollar manager

The manager Melody is in something, she's rude n the customer service she provided is nothing. This Dollar Store is I close proximity to Kroger's And Other Shops, for OlderPatrons as well. She refuses to wait on them. She's jumping all around, eyes dancing in her head. The store is dirty n Unkept. No Order whatsoever. It has gone all the way down. Since she's been there. There's a group on FB.. happening now in Anderson County.. It's all over there people complaining about her.. Jus thought I'd give a heads up

Family Dollar chocolate and manager on duty at that time

I visited your store at 200 n.w 2nd Avenue on 5-25-2019 at 18:21:35 I purchased a couple of items there and when I walked out of the store I opened up the candy and noticed that it had white speckles on tge candy and it was melted, so I walked back into the store to tell the young lady that the candy was no good so she replied to me that it is melted. So I went and found another employee and I showed it to her and she said it was spoiled so I asked to speak to the manager. Lord and behold the young lady who I was speaking to first is the manager. So she took the candy back to the manager and then she gave me my money back, but during this time I asked the manager to let me see the candy at first she gave it to me then while I was taking out my phone to take a picture she threw it in the garbage that's when words foul language was use on both of our behalf the manager name is Dessi I couldn't believe that is how your management is. That's a shame I stay right around the corner from the store. I come in there all the time never had a problem before with the older manager that works there. This girl must be new and need training in management. I really hope that you view tge camera. Thank you

Family Dollar poor service

My local family dollar located at 5622 treaschwig dr spring, to 77373 locked their doors before closing. At 9:15 i arrived and doors were locked i begin pulling the door and calling the store to see business hours and as i stood outside he let a customer out and shut the door. Very poor customer service i shop here a great amount and i am not very happy. It's my go to store or was.

Family Dollar bad customer service

I always have a problem with Jennifer at the West Blvd/Remount Rd location. I'm not the only one. She make up her on rules for the store. I've noticed that her mom comes in on a regular drunk talking very loud. That's not acceptable for me. Trash is always out side the store from garbage can over running. I've been over here on Fordham for 49 years and I feel like that store could do so much better with the right people managing it. Jennifer will stand beside the cashier and watch her laughing and talking with customers when the line has more then 10 waiting to check out. It's ridiculous. Please be more weary of who's in charge of your store. She will sit and argue with me about priced items as people walk out with merchandise not paying. It's so unprofessional. Please have better employees running your store. Jennifer will sit in the corner at the computer sucking her thumb with a line of 10 or more people. Please! Please! Please! Do something about this. I wouldn't dare recommend this store to anyone. I don't know if it's their shorted pay our what. But it's too much going on at that location with Jennifer. Thank you and please let me see a change soon as possible.

Family Dollar trash

The partners there just seem to be throwing their trash straight out the door and on to the ground. It looks disgusting. You can see it from the road. We have a business near, and we wouldn't want the poor shape of that store to affect us. If the outside looks that bad, I can only image what the inside looks like in the back. The manager shouldn't let it get this bad.

Family Dollar store manager

The manager working at family dollar in menands ny #3696 is very rude and speaks nasty to customers and her employees as well.she is very disrespectul to customers who simply ask her a question about a product.I am sure you do not want any one carrying themselves in such a evil manner to represent your franchise.Please so something about her.And im almost sure im not the only one who has complained about her demeanor.when i asked for DM number she told me to google it and walked away as she rills her eyes.RUDE.

It is people like you and her who need some serious therapy.I know what i experienced with her on that particular day so whom ever you are maybe you should go and see for yourself.for that family dollar has lost a customer due to her unprofessional behaviour.if there are no changes i will proceed to go futher with this matter.people go to shop and enjoy their day doing so not get rolled eyes and sassy mouthed bu rude employees

Family Dollar employees at the store

The employees at family Dollar Richmond Dale Ohio are very rude they are outside smoking cigarettes and other things smell of alcohol and I have heard them talking about other customers while I was checking out so im sure they do about all customers I really think you should drug test your employees and have better management I am very disappointed

Family Dollar false advertising

Went into the Family Dollar last week in Jackson, Louisiana for graduation cards. They had their clearance event sign, that stated "an additional 50% red tag". I had a shopping cart full of items, got to the register and they were ringing up for red tag price only. Asked the cashier and she said "it is what's on the ring up". I pointed out the clearance sign that was behind her and she said it was nothing that she could do because they can't have a lot of price changes and she didn't want to lose her job. I asked her to call the manager as she said he had just left the store. She called him several times and he didn't answer; I left the items there and departed the store. I went back to the same store today. The same cashier was there, I asked if she had spoken with the manager about the sale and she replied with "he said some stuff is and some stuff isn't". I bought 2 items (pictures will be attached). They have red tag prices yet, they ring up for half of the original price and not half of the red tag price. Again, no manager was there for me to address the problem with. There are multiple signs throughout the stores that says "an additional 50% of red tag " there are even signs that give examples of red tag price and the additional 50% off price yet this store isn't honoring that.

This evening my husband and I walked over to our local Family Dollar Store. We bought groceries and pop as well as tried to return some cans that were clean and bagged. The manager said no, they do not take back returns after 7 pm. I've complained about the same lady before when she said there is a $2.00 limit.

We questioned the validity of her latest made up rule. She said too many people abuse the privilege. (She likely means people who are homeless in the area but she's likely only one paycheck away from being in the same boat as they so should not be judging them.)

I SAID I notice she has no problem selling pop, just taking back the cans! Corporate when I got home and asked her name.

She said I DON'T HAVE A NAME!

I shot back that they'd know who it was if I described her as the [censored]y one behind the counter! I told her you'd probably already had enough excuses about her attitude that you'd know who I meant!

My husband and I are both disabled due to COPD, I am on oxygen, we're seniors - and she's telling me I have to take the bag of bottles/cans home as well as my groceries and an additional 12 pk pop.

She told me I am not allowed in the store again, I told her that had corporate been here it would have been her who wouldn't be allowed back!
She is a manager there, she was working with a young black man who tried to tell me her name but he had to speak low, which was too low for me to hear. He couldn't speak up because she was 4 feet away. She has medium long hair part grey and part brown and is middle aged.

Your store In EAST POINT Ga. 24433 Delowe DR.
Your employee are very rude. I'm at check out when the Supervisor or Manager comes to the front talking all loud and cussing .The cashier told her don't talk like that in front of costumers She says I don't care about the [censored]ing costumers .and what. Just about every family dollar I go to In Atlanta Ga. have the rudest and most disrespectful people The staff and Management. You all need to teach your employees some costumer services skills. Thanks .

Family Dollar deplorable conditions

The store on madison in Madisonville Cincinnati ohio 45227 is and has been a mess for almost 2 yrs now i have a video im going to post on my Facebook page its ridiculous that the shelves are always empty but yet there's inventory sitting around in boxes employees on thier cell phones ive even seen them let ppl carry cartfuls of merchandise out without paying its crazy and we need this family dollar here in our community its the only one left it the shelves were stocked this store would be profitable and if you hired ppl who actually want to work for thier money to here them explain yall dont give them enough hours and you dont pay enough i would love to take over that store get it together i would hire a crew i could trust and it would be 8 hr shifts for them everyday .thanks bev mills you can find the video on my facebook page and on scrapping grannies facebook page and kushy mills facebook page so thanks

Plus not only does the corporate control the hours that are needed and a lot of stores are short staff but they are getting burnt out from doing a job of 3... I know been there and done it … it's not as easy as everyone thinks .. I have had cashiers work on 10 hours a week how do you support a family on that .. you can't and on top of that you can't find a second job cause you have to have open availability to work for these companies … it's a shame but it is what it is ..

Family Dollar manager

There is to much information I need to provide to write it all with bad hand. I went again last night just to take my coupons an shop clearance she came straight over to tell me I couldn't buy the persil but can buy anything else. I've allready had tons of problems with this old lady before. She also wouldn't not let me use manufacture coupons an she stood there an watched me an does everytine. Last time I called after being at the store was, 5 minutes after leaving an she said u shoukd of grabbed ur receipt cause I asked her for it an said she threw it away. I've had lots of problems with this woman I am about 2 minutes from store an ho everyday but I cant as long as she is there. I think her name is Barbara a manager at Columbia ave store in Glasgow ky. I need one of u to call me so I can explain this situation

Family Dollar service by employee

I'm complaining about store number 06220 cashier lady had no name tag so I don't know her name she gave us a lot of attitude and complained about her store to us cuz it was very hard for me to get around because I'm disabled and she try to blame it on other people that go in that store and then she claimed that she was by herself that's why she couldn't do things she rolled her eyes at us and got very upset with my husband was just trying to help me we didn't appreciate how her attitude was towards us as customers and try to blame it on our kids which we had under control they didn't touch anything so we would appreciate if you could fix that over there with that employee today is Friday May 17th 2019 Colorado springs Colorado719-432-5498 my name is delina crespin [protected]@gmail.com

Family Dollar racist employee, manager

Employee and manager wanted to strip me of my rights by forcing me to leave my property alone. Unattended at the register. I walk in and the 2 staff were apparently bored and decided to force me to leave my pack in my wheelchair. First problem is my medications are in my pack. And if I have an "episode". I would not have immediate access to that.
My issue is a WOMAN can come in with an oversized purse, correct?
I refuse to be stripped of my rights !
By a SEXIST POLICY. I'm not even getting into the assumption that YOUR EMPLOYEES ASSUME I WOULD HAVE STOLE SOMETHING. Not acceptable ever. This is not the way to treat a disabled person ! Sorry for the rant, but I am greatly disturbed by this, as you can see that this is sent to you at 4:30 a.m. Friday. Before I let my friends at the VETERANS ADMINISTRATION know how I was treated I just wanted to see if your organization cares for the disabled at all... rant over, thanks for your time. Hope to get a response... soon
