Family Dollar customer service

Estuve en la fila esperando a ser atendida, cuando termina la cajera yo voy hacia ella cuando otro cliente se me cuela y le dijo que yo estaba primero que él, él se molesto y me dijo que le estaba gritando cuando no fue cierto. Ahi yo procedo y le dijo esto es gritar y hice la diferencia de hablar, gritando a normal. La cajera "Dawn"cogio y me grito y me dijo que no me iba atender y se nego a cobrarme nada cuando ella no entendió nada de lo que paso. Le trate de explicar en ingles lo que paso pero a ella no le importo y me dijo que me fuera de la tienda sin ninguna razon, cuando yo no hice nada malo, solo porque ella no entiende español se molesto. Me senti discriminada por su empleada que me dijo que era la gerente y nunca fui atendida porque ella se apodero de la tienda y me trato super mal senti que ella es racista por como manejo la situación. No me permitio irme con nada de la compra y tampoco quiso que otro cajero me atendiera. Esto deja mucho que ver de su compañía como ustedes manejan este tipo de situación y mas aun cuando no conocen el idioma y le da lo mismo. Sabra Dios cuantos clientes estan pasando por la misma situación que pase yo y lo peor es quien pierde son ustedes porque yo me fui a otro supermercado que queda en el mismo shopping y compre todo. Fue pérdida para su compañia lo que hizo su gerente Dawn que esta perdida en servicio al cliente. Necesitan trabajar con su empleada porque es una arrogante y no sabe lidiar con clientes que no hablan su idioma. Muy mal que quedo ella en representación de ustedes. Esa empleada no merece su puesto le queda muy grande deben de rehubicarla como empleada normal porque yo senti que ella era la dueña de Family Dollar y las cosas malas no se pueden aguantar. Cuantos mejores empleados tendran que pueden ocupar ese puesto porque si suguen con esta empleada seguiran muy mal.

Family Dollar clipped coupon and price on shelf different from price ringing up

First I purchased item and it said 2.00 on shelf but at the register it rang up 2.25. they took the 23 cent off and the manager told the cashier to change the sign and then when I clipped my coupon the cashier was so busy talking did not let me finish putting in my number then wanted to put it back on my card but I have had item put back on my card to see later that I was charged again and I never got that refund. this store is so bad people started leaving stuff and walking out. I will not shop here again and I will be telling family and friends not to shop their either

Family Dollar general manager bradley

I came into the store today to purchase laundry detergent. They didn't have the shelves stocked. All the boxes were just sitting there. So I had to grab the biggest size they had. The smart coupon said $2 off. When I got to the register my coupon wasn't being added. I had to reset my password and the app was taking forever to load. After 30 minutes of being in the store, I was irritated like anyone else would be. The GM comes to the register and I explain to him the app wasn't working. He starts yelling at me in front of other customers that the app does work and that I'm just too stupid to work it. After him trying it and saying sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I jokingly made the comment, "oh so the app doesn't work!?" He got even more mad and irrate and refused my sale and told me to get out of the store. I have NEVER been more humiliated and embarrassed in my life. I left crying. I want a follow up call from his manager as this is NOT OK. No employee, a GM at that should yell and belittle a customer that comes in every day. GM name is Bradley. When I told him I was going to complain he yelled at me again and told me to go ahead. Which means he has gotten away with this before. I am requesting a call back asap.

There isn't more to it. This is exactly what happened. It isn't even about the app. It's about the fact that a General Manager who is in customer service thinks it's OK to yell and scream at me and insult my intelligence saying it wasn't the app it was me. THAT is my issue. Be blessed everyone.

Family Dollar manager

I was a employee at this family dollar almost a year I was 7/8 months pregnant I had over slept one morning & charrond had text me & was like you know suppose to open this morning I told her I over slept do she still need me so her reply back was "do you still need yo job" so I said no now you just lost a employee trying to get smart, so she put me as non rehireable. I still have the text messages in my old phone but the screen kind of messed up

Family Dollar store manager parks his car in the middle of two parking spots for customers in front of the building

This happens everyday this particular manager works. Last I checked, Family Dollar doesn't sell cars, so why does he get to park in spots that should be for customers? What other company allows store managers to park in front of the building as if they had their own "showroom". This is clearly unacceptable as it shows complete neglect for seniors to easy access to the front door! This is shocking to say the least as I was under the impression that customers mean a lot to the business. I guess this particular manager didn't get that memo. This should be an easy fix if the corporate office will make that simple call. Come on guys, do the right thing on this one!

Family Dollar store manager

My fiancé started working at the Bridger Family Dollar in June. The main manager there is a joke. Right around when he started there she called in sick with pneumonia, then I saw her out at a bar partying that same weekend. She was still "sick" for the whole week after that, and made my fiancé work 9 days in a row to cover her, including a 12 shift. After that she called him into work one day to open 15 minutes before the store was supposed to be opened, because she missed her alarm. Then a few weeks later she wrote him up for not greeting people when they enter the store, which every time I go to the store and she is working she is outside smoking, she has never greeted me once. Now most recently his paycheck was 3 weeks late because she "lost" it in a filing drawer with the rest of the mail. We almost got fined for our rent being late. I don't know if that is how they usually treat their employees, but I don't think it is right. She is very unprofessional.

Family Dollar cashier stole my medicine tablets.

I payed for Advil 200mg 100ct tablets and while I ran to get something that I forgot the cashier did away with them. She may have given them to the customer that she took when she paused my purchase, I left the store and came home to no medicine pain relief, I wasn't mad until I got to the store and was told that I walked out the store without checking my bag so I was at fault. The store #07560 the manager that told me that was Theresa, I am a regular and never seen the cashier before. The store Phone#: 609-689-9537 as seen on my reciept. Family Dollar a issue that's going on in the workplace.

My name is deja d williams. I work at the family dollars in hattiesburg ms #05360
I have been having this same probably with my store manager austin for a while now, since I came back with the company about the nastiness n not working. He's very rude and doesn't know how to talk to the employees. Many employees have left the company and switch store because of austin and his attitude. All he does is walk around n jump on the shop lifters. Just october 1st he ran after a shoplifter knocking him off his bike in the middle of the road, everybody thought the man on the bike was injured. I tried going to my district manager ms. Barbara but instead of her handling it. She forward my store manager austin hearn all my messages n conversation to him making a big problem at work. Now I don't feel comfortable at my own job now and I feel like ms. Barbara didn't not have that to do. Our conversation was suppose to be between me and her. I hope somebody does something about this before things get worse.

Family Dollar 5 off 25 coupon

On 10/2/19 my fiancé and I where in your family dollar store at about 7:30pm we are part you loyalty program so we love to shop here when we Receive 5 off 25 coupons as well as coupons we can clip on your app. Well today we decided to go and use our coupons. Today we had a unpleasant trip at the register. We two separate trancastion that where $27 so I put in my number so I could use my coupons so my total was over what I had calculated with my coupons so I asked the cashier if she can tell what coupons applied she immediately had an attitude about it she then told me she could Not apply the 5 off 25 because I used clipped coupons. So I told her I have been there plenty of times I never had an issue they always apply with no issue. She then told that she was trained to not give that 5 off 25 unless I bought something that didn't have a manufactured coupon. I was very confused because this has never happen to me I was always able to use the clipped coupon and 5 off 25 as long the total before coupons was over $25. I'm not a pushy person I didn't bother going back in forth with her. But I strongly disagree with her not wanting to honor the 5 off 25 when my total was over 25. I been in retail for over 10 years and one thing I know is that you should always go above and beyond and give customers exceptional customer service. She was very rude and I don't know if she made that rule herself because I have been here many times and this has never happened to me ever. I believe we should have been honor that coupon in both our transaction because our total was over $25. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day but that should never reflect on customers. I have never experienced bad customer service like I did today. I will not be returning to this location again. She really made me feel unwelcome in this store.

Family Dollar trash outside

The family dollar in my neighborhood is right next to general dollar.

The general dollar store is always packed and understaffed and I prefer to go to family dollar. But lately I have noticed how horribly the outside property is kept.
The interior just got remodeled and looks good. If only the outside matched the inside. I have been a local concrete contractor in the Verde Valley, AZ for 35 years.

If given the opportunity I would like to clean it up for you. I've done work for Family dollar in the past.

Family Dollar service

It's bad enough going into the store with all of the trash sitting around. However tonight I stopped in for 3 items versus running into Walmart. The line was at least 10 customers deep. There was one cashier, when I walked to the back of the store there were two more employees. I said can one of you go up and help the lady up there, there is a long line of people. The guy said "no we've got to get this truck unloaded". This was during the 5:00 pm hour when traffic in our rural town is busiest. Needless to say I set my basket down and left. Walmart got my business.

Family Dollar threatened and verbally assaulted by staff

I have been going to this store for over 4 years now! I do most of my household shopping here! I went from being a general manager of an office here to being laid off due to lack of work because the company was going out of business... Financially me and my family have been strapped. I recently started my own business however I just started so I am still having to budget!... Yesterday 10/01/2019 I went into the store and I had clipped my coupons and gotten several household items in an attempt to prepare between now and my next customer for my company! I ended up being short $14 somehow... The lady behind me happened to be an old customer of mine from my previous job and she said no dont put anything back brittney here you go (I took card of my customers at my old office) she pitched in the 14 bucks... Later that night I ran out of formula for my 1 year old and ended up having to choose 2 items to return in an attempt to get just enough for her milk... The store rep behind the counter refused stating that my friend paid for my shortage so she wasn't returning anything... I told her #1 these are my items and I purchased several items in here so you dont get to decide what my friend paid for and what she didnt... Then this girl started cussing me and insulting me in front of the other customers who where standing there... I told her "dont you dare slander me in front of other customers that's illegal and unprofessional!" the rep then proceeded to tell me "just because you go with a black man doesnt mean you can come in here like you own the place!" I told her that was irrelevant and she had no right to refuse my return! It was my own personal business and I then demanded a phone number to speak to a manager or the general manager... Not only was I refused a number to call and speak to someone in upper management about the issue she then threatened me "she said I get off at 10 p.M. And will be waiting for you in the parking lot" then she looked at the other customers and said "this white b*#$@ is about to me make me beat her a* in here"... I stood there waiting to be provided a number to call and complain and she proceeded to pick up the phone and pretend to be calling her manager this girl called the police and asked them to tell me to not come back!... I know there are cameras and I plan to take this to court... I was humiliated degrated and refused my right to a return! I also have saved my receipt! I was able to gi to another location and explain what happened and that rep was very understanding and suggested I report this! I have been in sales and cust i'll mer servuce and management for 13 years... Being a business owner I would never allow this for my customers! This girl publicly humiliated me and threatened me and nearly caused me and my family more problems by not being able to purchase formula for my baby!... My suggestion is roll back your cameras and get ready. I need someone to call me asap! I am willing to settle this without moving forward to the courts as long as its fair!... Family Dollar unethical behavior and threats

I visited this family dollar on 10-1. I have the receipt. I was threatened, cussed at, called names, harassed out the door by the manager, simply for asking for some change.

Then she demanded I do not come back to the store.

She was rude from beginning of transaction to the end, she never greeted me at counter, and further went about aggressively grabbing my items and throwing them into the bag as I placed them onto the counter.
Then when I requested some change, all hell broke loose!

I hope there's good surveillance in this store, including the cash registers.

I also was ganged upon and mocked by both her and her female friend, maybe she was a customer or off duty employee. She mocked and made fun of me too, further escalating the situation.

I was going to call the cops right then and there, only to realize I didn't have my phone on me.

The manager also called me a bum, and mocked me as she was pursuing me outside the store when my faulty cart that I recently purchased from family dollar store broke. Which I promptly reminded her I recently purchased from family dollar itself.

I have lots more to say.

I had been a good loyal paying customer at this store, making many purchases, never giving them any problems.

Somebody needs to get back to me about her asap.

Resolution? A.) she should never be allowed in customer service nor management, among other things.

Compensation of some kind for my distress, harassment, verbal abuse, and lack of safety in family dollar.

All of you need to stop responding . The reason that I am homeless is I beat up my mother and she kicked me out. I have to beg for money. My mother is stupid. She pressed charges against me. I can't get a job because of her. Most jobs ask for a background check. No one wants to hire me once they find out that I beat her up.

Family Dollar unethical behaviour (rodney turner)

The store manager rodney turner has been spreading sexually related rumours in regards to myself (michelle stumpf). He has been speaking on behalf of a sexual assault he performed against me and telling his employees hes been in a relationship with me. This sexual assault took place while I was inebriated. He is slandering my name. And im looking to press charges. I cannot go to my local family dollar because he is a current employee. These situations hes speaking on are now also circulating the near by area where as friends family and neighbors including his staff members are all aware of the situation at hand.

Family Dollar the entire store is horrible!

I have been in retail over 25 years and I have never seen a store that was allowed to run in such poor condition. The store is unorganized, nasty and out of stock. I'm sure your sales reflect the stores appearance. This is my community and we deserve better! The floor is flirty, trash is everywhere. I was thinking they were going out of business but no. I have spoken to others in the area and it seems the West Ave store is known to be this way. This doesn't look like it happened overnight, the condition of the store shows its been neglected and poorly managed for a long time. Not only on store level but district management can not be involved with this store if it's allowed to be run with such poor conditions. Please take action to improve this store.

Family Dollar re:loss prevention, hiring manager investigation, and infection of addicts all over your shipping area

Im a loyal customer at your straight st location for about 3 and half years. As of the last year in a half it has gotten worse for loyal customers.. There is no security guard anymore so I literally see addicts come in and steal from your store sooo freely because there is no employee around and people fighting on line because waiting so long. I literally stayed in line many times waiting too long because there is only one employee at register.
Also due to the hiring manager there is a growing amount of older or elderly employees who do not speak english. Do not help customers at all but just stand around the store doing nothing and cant help customers.. Especially the item at the back of register. Its very questionable why they are employees getting hired, and not working, cant understand english and cant be on register whats the point? The whole store of the pass 2 years continue to be a mess.. I spend lots of money in this store literally every day my household items and your seasonal kknit knacks. But amount of addicts that are allow to hang at the front door, parking and shipping areas unbelieveable! And discouraging. To have to literally watch addicts constantly ask for money then shoot herion in your front, side, back of store property.. I have months and years of footage of what happens every night in your shipping area for everyone to see its disgusting. I recommend an investigating. On your managers at this location well. Sometimes people like managers take advantagee of locations like this. To do what might benefit them but not the company. Thank you (a concerned customer)

Family Dollar the actually store

I am writng to you on behave of the community at Montebello, Gran San Jacinto, Camino Real and Santa FE, Cleveland, Texas

#12210 store located in Gran San Jacinto Subdivision.

This store is so dirty. The dust has overcome every product in the store. The floors are so dusty, dirty. The balloons that are over the cigararatte stand are horrible.

There is never been a day that I go into the store and find my way around the store because all shipment are in the hallways, all over.

Then, in the parking lot, there is so many rocks that if my tire pops, Family Dollar will pay for it. It's a safety issue.

The music palying in the store is very load and it's a Mexican station form Mexico. Don't get me wrong, I am Hispanic, but we should keep store to a regular staion or instrumental music.

The girls in the store are always complaining about everything to every costumer. One time the person at the register was talking about a client that had just left. Imagine that I new that person? Not nice. Wonder what they say about me as I leave.

Another this is, you have solicitors every where in the parking lot selling food, with music palying. Peolple put there cars to sale and more over, today there was a Tamale truck selling food. I felt Iwas in Mexico.

I believe good administration is needed. Please reply. I will send picture. I just saw the upload if needed. Please do something about this.

Family Dollar xbox live gold pass

I purchased a Xbox Live Gold Pass on September 29th, 2019 at 3:41 P.M. The cashier did not provide me the end receipt where my code was at to activate my gold pass. She admitted to not giving it to me at first and tried searching for it and took the blame. She even went outside to look for it with another employee for help and still did not find it. After about 20 minutes she went to a room to check security videos and claimed that I took both recipes and I was to blame. She said it may be on the floor which I doubt because it had already been an hour and if I did take it, it should've been on the floor. The fact that she admitted her mistake then took it into her own hands to blame me for the mistake she did is highly unprofessional and breathtaking because the customer is always right. On top of that like I said before she admitted to loosing the receipt because we both saw and both said the ticket was loose and I saw that she took the bottom ticket and me not knowing I needed that I left. I'm very displeased with what happened today and she even told me that this isn't the first time it happened and that she couldn't do anything about it. Knowing that this isn't the first time that this has occurred leads me to further believe that she was at fault here besides me knowing that I didn't take the receipt. She then continued to tell her employees that it was my fault as it was a joke which even made her seem more unprofessional. I now am stuck with a $25 dollar loss because they couldn't provide me a refund or trade in and they didn't even say sorry for the inconvenience.

Family Dollar customer service and overly using position

This employee smelled like marijuana and basically acted as if he was high. Never once asked me if I needed help but kept going in n out store talking to someone in a personal car. Since when is it ok to be rude and make others uncomfortable for being in the store. And how can you allow your employee to be under the influence of methamphetamine and actual sell n buy it in store?
