First of all wasn't greeted when entering the store already started off wrong once I got my things and went to counter the first item rung up different from self price there were more of the items on that shelf guy told me that was third party problem not there's so when using my digital was told he couldn't scan my phone that was so embarrassing will shop there again

Family Dollar general manager can't perform her job

I use to work for this manager and she kept putting me down and cutting my hours to only 5 or 6 hours per week, only to unload her trucks for her. After that being said, then she hired a new cashier and gives her almost as many hours and the assistant managers get and only giving me and the other boy 5-6 hrs per week. I think this woman has a problem with male figures and only wants females to work for her! She tried to get me to work off the clock one time said, she would pay me on the week coming up I refused to do it. She has worked some off the clock and claims she is working and is not in the store of she is occupied with the phone on the sidewalk smoking more than working that is why our trucks NEVER got done and I QUIT!

I was told I had to check in my bags when I come in the store, I handed them my bags and when I returned to get my bags they couldn't find them. And I lost out on $257 work of my food . Family Dollar smelly spray

Bought a spray with can of Apple spray in it. It didn't work. Went to return it with my receipt in hand. But was told I could exchange it because I didn't have the box! I didn't want my money just one that worked. But nope cause she couldn't show why it was no in her store! This is the worse customer service ! I spend lots of money there, let me tell you No More I will drive into town to wal mart to buy my stuff! And I will tell others about this ! Thanks for nothing and not stepping up to take of the simple task!

Weeds out of control on back side of property. Dumpster is dirty and unkempt. Looks like a dumping ground. Front of store by road looks like terrible. There is always trash that is not picked up daily around the perimeter of the store. Looks like no one who works here even cares. Worst looking Family Dollar on the state. Let's not even talk about the inside.

Family Dollar headphone exchange

Im inclined to believe Broward county Family Dollar stores has the worst customer service that one will ever recieved. Their employees are blatantly rude and disrespectful. After inquiring about an exchange to upgrade a pair of head phones with poor sound the employee which I was directed to as a manager apparently didnt feel up to it today; her response was what did she just tell you and at some point rises up waving her hand in my face. I was livid! But you know life is bigger then that i had my 10 year old who just this month lost her dad along with me so I knew that I had to let all my emotions be just emotions that will dissolve by distancing myself from the store. I personally think she didnt like the fact that i interrupted her while eating which leads me to believe they have no break rooms. At This point the district manager needs to be reprimanded. Your employees should be a direct reflection of management, likewise management should be a reflection of CEO. My experience today took me way out of character with my daughter along side me and for that reason I have decided to through in the towel with this company. If a customer is shopping at one of these locations more then likely its because its close to home. So Im going to this store and spending on average 100 dollars a week. That places me at 400 a month 4.800 a year. So everytime a repeated face walks through that door their networth to that store is 5 grand or more a year depending on ones spending habits. I encourage anyone who has experience such to reassure yourself that where there is a family dollar to bet there is a Dollar General near and some cases as mine right across the street. Spend your money where you are respected!

Family Dollar mànager

I will Like to discus on incident that happened today at 1707 s. W.W white Rd. SAN Antonio Tx. Plèase call me to [protected]. I came down for vacations And we stop to get Some items. The cashier made a a couple of mistakes. She called the manager and he was very disrespectful, He called a police unit to come to the scene. He gave False information. Saying I was Harassing him and made us fill like criminals. Just because I asked him for corporates number. The cashier thought the manager had given us the change, because he was handling the over ring. He told me he was not going to give us the number so we left to our car. At that time we realised they never gave us the change or the item. We went back to the store and the cashier was getting ready to gives us the change when he told her not to give it to us until they count the money from the register the cashier told him she never gave us the money. He said do not open the registered, do not move anything. Later he came and made her go to the back and he gave her so much stress that he made her cry and did not aloud her talk to the officers. I honestly fill so sad for the young girl. That was her 4 day in work she made some mistakes and ask the manager just to help her on the over ring but instead made a big dill out of something little. This men has no manager skills did not know how to handle a very simple situation. He abuses from his power. I'm from out of town just visiting some family members and we went from store to store just until my family is back from work and he made sure he gave your store a bad name. I am from El Paso tax and let me tell you the dollar stores over there have the best customer service that you can't imagine. Family Dollar customer service

I came into family Dollar last week, to exchange a pack of diapers I head bought a few days prior.
I didn't have my receipt, but because I am a frequent customer there, and during the purchase of the Pampers swaddlers, an employee Jen had used her digital coupon towards my purchase... I thought I would be taken at my word that I indeed purchased them at the store.
Upon entering the store, I saw Elizabeth/Liz, who I also have known for quite some time and believed was a respectful woman. Liz was the only person in the store at the time.
When I went to the counter, I explained that I didn't take my receipt, and never do because I shop basically only there and never have brought anything back. But that I'd been there the night before and needed shelves, so I'd like to exchange the one of diapers towards my next purchase.
She scanned them, and immediately started to tell me that I didn't but them there, they don't sell them. She said it was an easy mistake to make, not remembering where I've bought things... She does it too, but I didn't but those there.
I said that I did, and just asked if she's hold that pack up there while I ran to the back. I went directly to where I found the same one before, found the exact size and type of diapers. I walked them up to her and said I bought these here, she scanned the pack I brought from the bank of the store, it wouldn't scan either. I even explained about using the other employees coupon, giving her Jennifers name.
She called Jen, who understandably couldn't remember 5 or so days before. She was told I'd said the day before I'd been in. She did have the coupon in as redeemed coupons on her app for family Dollar. For exactly Pampers swaddlers, which allegedly they didn't carry.
I then had Liz look at me with hate in her face and point her finger in my face and start telling me that she won't be called a liar, she'll pay for it herself, she's not going to have me call her a liar, she's going to refund me on her dime. She made me feel like theif, because she said they didn't sell them there when I could could see them, grab them and bring them up to her.
She made me feel like I was a low life scammer acting like I came in there too pull one over on her, I emphasize her because she acting like it was a personal attack, she let her ego get in the way of even pleasing the customer. Then I feel like I can't stand up to her because all I ever do is hear her gossiping to customers about everyone. So I can't imagine what she's already going to say as she's treating me like complete crap and had come to her own conclusions as to my being a liar. She's treated me so bad see this point I feel like I've done something very wrong... When I would never.
Infact I've never been so embarrassed and insulted in my life, her ability to do anything other than feed off negativity, her inability to believe very regular customers, her inability to handle a customer appropriately with out getting so angry that she's shaking fingers in their faces... That makes get unable to handle customer service. I've never been treated that way, I never want to go back in that store again. I love it there and spend good money there.
She refused to listen to me, kept talking over to me, as I the customer, tried to deescalate the situation. Explaining that I would never say that, I didn't imply that, I was saying I did buy it there and I'd appreciate her acknowledging that the diapers were indeed there and being sold there, also not ringing up. I felt like, what I'm a liar?
She needs to retire or something. I can't imagine how she treats everyone else.

Family Dollar manager

The Manager at the DeWitt location needs to be fired. She is by far the most unproductive, unprofessional person I've ever encountered in a retail setting. While shopping, I heard her talking to a potential employee. When she finished, she talked with current employees about her & used the "[censored]ing" word 3 times. I have had previous encounters while shopping that I've dismissed, but this one made me leave a shopping cart full of items in an ailse & exit the store. I will not be returning to that location again! Thank You.

Family Dollar store hours

I pulled up to this location at 9:46. An employee was guarding the "locked" door only letting people out. Upon some one coming out my daughter was let in. I sat in car directly in front of door and watch several people be turned away. Another employee came outside to retrieve carts and when she was asked were they not letting people in she stated she had too much cleaning up to do. This was approx. 5 mins to 10. As the door open and closed to let people out, profanity rang loud as the two female emplyees on duty fussed about customers behind counter when there is a "f"ing sign that says employees only.

I want use this time to speak to the dis organization of that store and since the re opening its lack of cleanliness is appauling as if it never was fully stocked or ready to receive the public. The loud inappropriate music and and the poor customer service or lack there of with the exception of one older woman who I frequently see on Sunday morning. IT IS EMBARRASSING. I have been in this community for over 13 yrs as an adult and prior grew up as a child here. To see a store i once held in high regard compared to the other 2 locations further up on Mlk in plaza and one near HE holmes i just shake my head. I have witnessed that store in its best representation of your company and it saddens me to see the state in which itvis on now. Closing 15 minutes early is lost of revenue...HOW OFTEN is this happening. That's loosly stealing. The revenue cycle here is broken.

I will continue to be as vocal as possible until change is made, I believe in your company and know that it brings value to my community..TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE...

Please resolve this matter.

Family Dollar manager

I walked into the family Dollar in Rocky ford when I was stopped at the door by the manager who rudely told me to leave . I asked why and she again told me to get out her store. I was embarrassed and outraged. The reason for this I do not know. I've been a loyal customer for years until this [censored] started. She has no customer service skills and is just plain rude.
