Family Dollar customer service

First I want to say the lady Amanda that cashed me out on this night of 2/22/20 was super nice. Very professional I am sure she will inform you of the other employees behavior and actions toward customers. Amanda did not approve of her actions and the things she was saying. This is the third visit I have had the displeasure of hearing this woman on personal calls. Being very loud using profanity and talking about customers when they leave the store. I have witnessed her calling customers meth heads and thieves. The first time she went as far as calling the police after they left and the police stopped them and they had nothing they had stolen from the store. That was her first week there. I am appalled at the employee you have representing your company. I went into the store # 00047 on 02/22/2020 receipt # [protected] and I spent 96.55 and I was cashed out at 22.04 hundred hours. Every time I shop in this store I spend $90.00 to $120.00 and I shopped there at least 2 times a month. Tootie Romaines Earle can vouch for that. It was my last time with this employee there I will spend my money at Walmart or Roses before I get embarrassed and humiliated by anyone. This girl whose name I do not know 1 st was on the phone with personal calls a man 1st she called him baby and stated they could't wash dishes until it dried up some and thanked him for washing clothes. She called him baby and the second was a girl who bought a washer from a furniture store and was pregnant. Because they talked about her due date and that the girl should announce she is pregnant on Facebook live. Anyway I was on the back aisle at the laundry soap. The rude employee was too but at the other end. Very loud she stated to me it;s 10 until 10 I suggest you take your cart up front to be checked out because we like to go home to sometimes. I said okay. I went around the long way to get Clorox and ice cream on my way. She said very loud you have a lot if you want to purchase what you have you have to go up front now because we will not cash you out at 10;00. She was loud and rude other people in the store could hear her. I was embarrassed humiliated and about in tears. I just went to the check out. Amanda cashed me out and the entire time this other person was making remarks we cant do anything until this customer is gone. Its going to be late when I get to [censored]ing leave. [censored] I m sick of this [censored] I can't do anything until she;s out of here. A car pulls up and people were walking outside at 9.57 pm. She said they better not come in here they won't get waited on no hell no I will not do it they best not come in here. Amanda was shaking her head in disbelief at how rude and loud she was. I work with the public everyday I can't talk to our customers that way I wouldn't the customer pays the bills for us. They pay yours and her bills as well. Maybe you all should have better hiring ethics. I hope you will stop this behavior and these people from costing you more than it's worth Good Luck as long as she is there I will never shop there again

Family Dollar Stale Carton of Newport cigarettes 100's

I Brought a carton of cigarettes Newport 100'S from FAMILY DOLLAR upon getting home and opening them i found that at least half the carton was stale.I really am a loyal customer OF buying newports been one for many years now, I know it is not ypur company that does bad business with it customers, it may have been a mistake on someone else part by not checking to make sure the carton of cigarettes was ready for sell, I really would like to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, I work hard for my money and i don't feel that it's right that i wasted my money on a stale csrton of newports.

Family Dollar Very poor customer service

On Saturday Feb 22 2020, I went in the Family Dollar to get laundry detergent, the shelves were practically empty. I eventually found something i was satisfied with then walked to the counter, but before i could even get to the counter good A female associate snatched my detergent off the counter, shook it and yelled and said these bottles don't even come this full, i said what are you talking about, she said that i poured detergent from another bottle and that she saw me on camera doing it which was a blatant lie. She went ranting and I continued stating my case and defending myself against those theft accusations in which I'm still pissed about, she told me "that's all they do is steal"then told the cashier ring her up so she can hurry up and get out, i paid for my items and i left. As i proceeded out the parking lot feeling hurt that this girl not only called me a thief but a liar too which wasnt the truth, i no longer felt like this store deserved my money or no one else's for that matter. So i went back and asked for a refund.At that time the cashier got really nasty with me and told me, " well why did you even buy it if you was gonna bring it back, i told her to just give me money back and i left. The whole experience was exhausting and humiliating to say the least but the worst part is that i got accused of stealing laundry detergent and that she saw me on video doing it. I have never stolen anything in my damn life, and how dare these girls treat me like they did. The service was nasty and very unprofessional, they don't need to work with the public. The attitudes was not appropriate for customer service. I will be seeking an attorney to determine if anything can be done about the accusations and alleged video.

Family Dollar Customer Service

I want to put a complaint on the family dollar on 8 mile and southfield, MI the cashier was on her phone texting yesterday on Saturday January 22, 2020 she didnt greet any customers she was being very rude and she needs to be fired ASAP! This was very unacceptable she was rude to the older customer in front of me she didnt want to help her it was a very horrible experience I will never shop at that location again until she is fired. This family is located between 8 mile and Southfield, MI in the plaza by VAULE WORLD

Family Dollar cashier telling customer derogatory statements

I went into family and the cashier told me when she cashing me out that i was a male prostitute . The cashier appeared to be mexican or spanish decent.
In western ny there are groups of people spreading rumors about other they do not like. Its called bullying. They get on the radio, news go into stores and spread rumors to destroy people who they dont like reputation. I am black and the cashier appears to latino. In western they also have hate groups

Family Dollar Employee drug use

All the employees here are on drugs the store manager always looks high and drugged up. He also wears the same dirty pants everyday. They hire employees that can't count and at night before closing you can smell a strong order of marijuana as if the employees are smoking right outside. I think that the store manager Spencer should be fired and a new person sould be put in there to get the store in order. Also the store is cluttered and dirty. Nothing is organized or easy to find

Family Dollar cashier's behavior

When we went to check out the line was really long due to having only one cashier at the time. So we stood in line and finally another cashier came to open his register. After standing in the line we were next to be helped. The cashier was finishing up his customer and when he did get finshed a young girl jumped in front of the whole line of people that had been standing there all this time. When I said something to the cashier after he finished with her his response was, "this is a first come first serve line". I said what? He said, "this line is for the first person here and you have to run up here to get first". We hadn't been in this store in a while but I knew it would probably have the product I needed and could't find anywhere else we had been but No where have I ever heard of customer service like that! Run!?! The thought that he made this to be ok infuriated me after standing in this line. Although you had the product I had not been able to find in other stores we will not be back. I will either change products or pay a higher price before coming back there. If our time and money is not important we will go somewhere else it is.

Family Dollar stealing

On 2/13/2020 dawn sober fake scanned goods to a male gentleman and was very rude to two 2 girls purchasing candy now this has been an on going thing with this woman so the co workers say she needs to be dealt with leagally also I do not appreciate her bringing her family drama to work and talking about it to customers that is so un proffesional please look into the matter

To whom it may concern :
#1. I was treated beyond badly by a check out lady today. I was searching my wallet for the exact change after putting a five dollar bill on the counter. The young lady sharply said, do you wanna put that in my hand ? I was a bit shocked but responded by asking her nervously if there was something wrong with her hand. She snatched up the money and after ringing me up, asked if I wanted her to put it on the counter, meaning the change. I took the change from her and being 70, I said to her she was being very rude. She seemed to take pride in her actions.

#2. The young lady made us all wait so long for her to come to the register it was far too inappropriate amt. of time. I'd estimate 7 to 10 minutes. One lady in line had just come from a chemo treatment, was weak and thought she'd run in for some lemon juice but she was sadly mistaken as we waited so long I asked her if I could pay for her few items and bring it to her to her, in her car. She just waited but myself and another lady in line in front, saw that she checked out before us. I happen to have this lady's business card. We had time to have a long chit chat.
I have never, in the decades I've shopped at Family Dollar, been treated this way or waited so long for a person to check out. This lady's name was Aleiha (sp)?
I told her I'd report her so that's exactly what I am doing. I don't know if I'll return to that store. It's a shame and rather shocking. Very disappointed.

Family Dollar store manager

Your store on 5950 Gibson Blvd in Southeast Albuquerque, NM 87108 needs to be shut down. The store is a disaster and the manager is rude to customers. Since the plastic bag ban is in effect in ABQ, I figured it would be easier to take my reusable bag. Upon entering the store on 2/13/2020, the manager berated me for bringing the bag in and said "I know you read the [censored]ing sign. Youre not special. If I let you bring that damn bag in, I'd have to let everyone." Then he said something about discrimination, but at that point I stopped listening. This is unacceptable behavior from a store manager! This man should be terminated immediately for the way he treats customers and the horrendous condition of the store.

Family Dollar store maintenance

I'm complaining about the store in St. Johnsbury. It is very messy the floors a nasty all the time. It is very cold in there at the building is falling apart and it needs to be updated. I have a few other people that are not very happy with the employees are two in the management that place needs to be updated.

Family Dollar manager and 2 employees

To Whom It May Concern:

2/11/2020 - date of incident

Upon checking out there were 2 employees close to the register and the manager was at the register. One of the employees was raising her voice in Spanish to the manager at the register and it seems about me.
I do not speak Spanish. I told the Manager and the 2 employees that this was rude and they began laughing loud at me and saying what is the problem.
The manager then continued to say, "there is no problem speaking spanish in front of you, what if you were in China"? I have been going to this store for many years and noticed a change in the atmosphere. The Manager is very wrong and should be fired for her actions. This was very disturbing and I will never come back. I know this will make them happy!
If nothing is done about this incident, I will inform people of their conduct.

Family Dollar remote refund done bad

Bought a universal remote on Sunday the 9th around 11:30am, but could not get it to work for the input (scrolling not able). I returned said Magnovox remote for a refund at around 6pm that same day. It seemed odd that the card scanner read transaction, but receipt I signed and put my address on said "refund or exchange".
Less than an hour later I received notification from my bank that what was suppose to be a refund was actually a transaction and now I am out another $9.04 for a remote I do not have anymore. I went back to the same store at around 8pm and talked to the same man who assured me that it was a refund and that they keep every receipt even though I do not get one as proof. This money was already TAKEN out of my account. I'm not sure what happened but I'm leaving it up to you to figure it out. That would mean I need a refund now of $18.08.

Family Dollar manager very unprofessional

I am a former employee of Store 12218 . I quit on Jan 30 2020. My boss was all about me when I first started was doing for me and stuff and bad mouthing other 2 employees. Well I had some problems at home and she was upset because I was staying with my husband. None of her business. Well she then started making schedule and I noticed she was never working with me. Once again something she does when she is upset with you. Also talks about my personal problems with customers. She had a costumer in the other day that she was talking crap to about me and just so happens it was a family member. She said excuse me that's my family and I don't think you should be Talking an ex employee business to costumers regardless: I will be contacting a lawyer to discuss this matter.

Family Dollar coke cola

Today 2/09/2020 at 1:20 pm I was in the store # 12274 of 2756 Genesee Street Buffalo, NY, 14211, I found the Coca Cola with the price of 4 for $ 4.00, when I went to the register to pay the cashier she informed me that he was not special and I told her that they had the sign, the cashier called the supervisor (hers name is Sharice) who went there and took the prices and called the boss and told me that they were very sorry but they could not sell them to me because they already the special had passed, I told the supervisor to put the sign back for me to make the report and he said no and that his boss wanted to talk to me on the phone, which I refused because I went to buy and not to argue with anyone. The cashier was super nice to me but I can't say the same about her bosses.In addition, the cashier had a line of approximately 10 clients and the supervisor did not help her or seek to add that she could help her. I think the service was terrible.

Family Dollar employee

I walked into the store on Owen drive Fayetteville North Carolina didn't see the product I was looking for, walked back out of the store and was in my vehicle when Dalton( employee) came outside hollering that I had stole something and that I need not come back on the property or in the store because I was banned . There was several people stand at the entryway look directly at me . That really embarrassed me because I had stole nothing he then proceeded to tell and cuss me, I'm going to talk with an attorney tomorrow February 10th 2020 . Family Dollar sheets

I bought brand new sheets today at the Family Dollar that just opened in Sidney, MT. The sheets were sliced and cut in multiple places! I know these are close out items, but we still expect quality. Especially when this is the only place for miles where we can buy sheets. Unacceptable. I would like to have replacements sent to me as soon as possible. We had to drive an hour to get them, since there is nothing in our area for miles.

Family Dollar rope, clearance, a lot

I went to buy rope that below where it was was a price of $1.30 when it rang up it was $3.75. they said that it was in wrong spot and would not honor the price. Now I have had multiple occasions where this had happened it is bad business and I frequently shop there. I am not going to get on the floor to make sure item matches tag on shelf. This stuff should be honored and if it is in wrong spot that is rude to not honor the costumer.

Family Dollar hair accessories

Hi am sorry to complain but I have to complain about. Some items that cause too much stress and needs stop being sold in all Family Dollar Stores these hair accseorires candy hair wrappers hair ties by Extremely Me. And all the Extremly Me hair bows and the Hair ponytail holders with the 2 balls at each end by Modesa because these prdoducts can cause stress to customers out because the candy hair wrapper hair ties are too rare to find these to and well likes by who ever because for instatance if a customer seen them at what ever Family dollar they seem those candy hair wrappers hair ties and they want to buy them but they cant for what ever reason so they decide to buy them another another time and when they decide to go back a can and buy them when they can buy them and its sold out and they really wanted them so they may go out of the way and travel to diferente states to diffrent family dollar stores just to find them and all other stores and its too out of the way for them bit they force themselves to go but thats not good or they have to keep going back and forth to what ever Family Dollar that they first seem them and to
To keep checking and see if they have them and if they have it when ir finally is on the shelf they may for fer they have to buy something important and buy the candy hair wrapper ties because they dont want to Miss out of them if they did before the dame goes for all the other hair items I am complaing about if they dont have it they feel like they will feel like they went for nothing and god for bid they walk and they do it on a way

Family Dollar rude, racist manager.

There is a large African american woman that works there, I think her name is Cheyenne, and if I'm not mistaken, I think she is actually the manager.

On two different occasions she has referred to me as a racial slur. One day I was waiting to check out, and I heard her say to her cashier "Go see what that white trash wants"

I was in there today, and she pretended to be friendly, by asking "How's your day going, honky?"

This is absolutely unacceptable and if the shoes were on the other feet there would be media outrage over this. This hateful lady needs to be fired and never hired anywhere ever again.
