Exxon we had the worst customer services ever at a mobil gas station

We had the worst customer services ever at a Mobil Gas station (location: in Arcadia, California. Between Duarte and Baldwin Ave). We were there around 10:30pm on 5/15 Sat. After we have paid $20 for the gasoline fee, my husband used their plastic windshield wiper to wipe off some bird drops on the car. The staff-on-duty came out from the store and yelled at us because apparently "the wiper was not meant to be used to wipe the car, only can use it to wipe the windshield". My husband put the wiper back and grab some of their paper towels (that they have put on the side of the wiper), and used the paper towels to wipe the bird drops. The same employee came and harass us AGAGIN, and claimed that "those paper towels can only be used to wipe their plastic wiper" and cannot be used in any other ways. My husband got upset by that point and started questioning him if there is any notice posted at the station regarding this "ridiculous rules". The employee avoided the question and just kept yelling at us. My husband got very upset and yelled at him. The employee got a paper out from his pocket and wrote down our license plate numbers, went back into the store and made some unknown phone calls. We have to contact the police because that gas station employee wrote down our private information (which he has no right to do that) without our consent, and we are not sure what he is using it for.

Gas prices are insane. No surprise there. But when i need to buy gas i tend to look for a Mobil. When all prices are crazy i like to at least buy from a station where the restrooms are clean, the pumps are in good repair and their is usually a snack shop.

Keep up the clean stations. You certainly cant say you dont have the money to pay people to do it. Prices as of this writing in NY are $4.75 a gallon.

I stopped in just 20 min ago at the Mobil Station at 15961 Manchester Rd., Ellisville, MO 63021. As I enter my credit card - a voice on the speaker repeated "I've got your number"... then as I was pumping gas it said "I am watching you". Being a woman, alone getting gas, this was not a comfortable feeling. I was very frightening and debated on calling the police. I will pursue this matter further.

Mobil gas station/mart, Algonquin Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Young asian girl working behind counter, doesn't speak english, doesn't know how to use credit/debit card system. Scanned my card 3 times, last time display said approved, but didn't trust it and left. She didn't know what to do. Yikes!

Yes its true $5.19 a gallon for gas in Shelter Island NY. Can the country keep going with prices like this? How will people afford it? Other prices for products made from gas have not even gone up yet.

We were just at a Mobile gas station at Sunset Strip and Sunrise Blvd in Sunrise Florida, the credit card didn't work at the pump so my husband went inside to get the gas and the man inside started yelling at him " What do you want!" why would anyone go inside if they didn't need help. He screamed at my husband and we left with no gas. How can anyone be paid to work at a place and treat paying customers like that? We will NEVER use a mobile gas station again! NEVER

Well I work at a mobil. and While the stupid kid behind the counter had no right yelling at you.. You SHOULD NOT use those on your car body.. they pick up tiny bits of rust and debris from cars and scratch peoples windshields. Also If they get ripped running over a rust patch on your car or a dent or something WE HAVE to pay for more squegees.. not you.

Exxon bad sanitation and customer service

I got gas from the Mobile on Cheney Highway, Titusville, FL - when I finished with the gas I went inside to use the facilities. The womens restroom was filthy and one of the two stalls had feces on the seat. The other stall had urine all over the sear and toilet paper all over the floor. While I was in the restroom two men entered and even after I informed them that it was a womens restroom one man remained and used the stall with the door open. I left and informed the cashier who was chatting on the phone. She did not acknowledge me at any time. I immediately left, went to the Shell station across the highway and am sorry that I paid money for gas at a place that has such poor business practices.

I went to the Mobil Station in Beaufort, MO and pumped $35.oo in gas. When I went to pay for it I had 3 packes of quarters rolled and 5.00 unwrapped and they told me that they could not take rolled change. I told them that was no problem that i could count it out she then told me she couldn't take it she had already been to the bank. I asked her if she was refusing to take that for payment and she said yes she could not take that change. I had to leave, go down to the bank and exchange the change for bills, I then took it back to the station throwed it at her and told her to shove it and I would not stop there again. I hope this gets around and they lose business this is ridiculas.

That's a dick move... on your part. These people have to deal with ### all day long, and for you to "throw" money at them is arrogant and typical. It was foolish on your behalf not to ask the attendant if they would take the change before pumping your gas. It's a gas station, not a bank. Don't pawn your change off on them just because you're too lazy to initially visit the bank and exchange your rolled quarters for dollars (why didn't you just do that in the first place?) I bet you're the same kind of person that takes $100 dollar bills and uses them to pay for $5 of gas. Gas stations generally have a floor safe... this "floor safe" is 'locked'... the 'manager' is the person who has the 'key'... the only way to get 'cash' into the "floor safe" without the key, is via a 'thin slot'... so if they have "rolled change" take a guess on how that's going to get through that slot. Oh, and fyi, telling them that you're "not coming back" doesn't affect anything. They still get paid the same. You're an arrogant and ignorant fool who has done nothing but prove that you have never had to work in customer service. You probably won't even read this, but I'm sure others will.

I also recieved the same questionare via e mail they said they got my cv from bestjobs website.They have even sent a copy of my contract.I knew they was something wrong with this job opportunity.The contract stated that I have been appointed as a Site Engineer.

Exxon inconvenience

My 5'10" girlfriend, age 45, went to buy ONE can of beer...clerk demanded ID, which she didn't have on her (I was driving and I'm 60)...SO, I go into store to buy the ONE can of beer and clerk says she CAN'T sell it to me because I'm just buying it for my girlfriend. Next day I call Manager of store (James) and he says it's COMPANY POLICY and refuses to give any info on clerk or territory manager, but gives the "800 customer blow-off number" for me to get the number for the territory manager (because it's against policy for him to give the number to me),

I call the number, and Cindy, ID# 7665 informs me that she cannot give me any number of management to call, but that she can "file" a complaint (like it would matter to them anyway). She also informed me that the clerk was FOLLOWING COMPANY POLICY!

Apparently no matter how old you are, EXXON POLICY assumes that their clerks are ###s who can't act appropriately or reasonably for someone who OBVIOUSLY is OVER 21 and demands they annoy grown adults for an ID. This is plain STUPIDITY!

DOUBLE CHARGED FOR GAS..MANAGER TOLD ME OVER THE PHONE TO BRING RECEIPT FOR MONEY BACK, AND LEFT/HID BEFORE I GOT THERE, (CLERK /MANAGER: DEB location: 3998 Tx-6 S, College Station, TX 7784)
I went to put gas and after i got charged for it and got my receipt, the manager asked me to come back and swipe my card again, because the cashier put it "on the wrong side" i asked 3 times if it would not be charged twice on my credit card, and she said it was canceled already. WELL I DID GET CHARGED TWICE, called the manager talked to her, she said " " if you bring your receipt i will give you your money back", AND I MADE THE MISTAKE OF LETTING HER KNOW I STILL HAD BOTH RECEIPTS cause by the time i got there two girls at the register told me, "she left because she knew you were coming, and sorry we can't give any money back, told me and my husband in a very rude manner to get out of her store or else she would called the police" treating us like the criminals, and finally after a long and frustrating 15 min, she broke her "store policy" and gave me my money back.

I’ve just received this 419 scam from “Exxon Mobil Malaysia”; the 2nd in 2 weeks. Fortunately for me, I automatically went to snopes.com but couldn’t find related topic. Then I went to the Exxon Mobil website & found the warning that this was indeed a scam. It pays to do research especially when someone is giving you money on some “lottery” that you never even entered into or money you did not earn. WORLD BEWARE!

Exxon cancellation of credit card

After FORTY years of an unblemished record - Paid in Full, on time, every time - Exxon Mobile cancelled my gas credit card with a 2 day notice.

Called the number on their letter and they said "All decisions are permanent."

They are cancelling my card because of a credit report from ANOTHER company!

So, they make business decisions based on a financial situation that they know nothing about...they don't even know if the report is true or not and they don't know what resolutions are being worked out.

Thanks so much Exxon/Mobile! You got your money for FORTY years - and my financial difficulties at this time have not/will not have effected paying your company. What a way to do business! What a way to build loyalty!

I recommend that everyone who reads this buys their gas from another company!

There is a small Mobil right across from where I live and would otherwise go to, and time and time again whenever I do in order to put some gas in my truck, the disgusting way in which the cashiers "interact" with each other in the backroom (most likely near the machine that produces ice for the drinks) repulses me to the point where I scold myself for trying to save a couple bucks. They take turns at the counter all hot and sweaty, while one of them waits for the other to return. The conditions are unsanitary, and for about a year there was not one security camera, now there is a fake one but it would do absolutely nothing at preventing a robbery. The customers are also rude and not very pleasant people to be around.

on January 5th I had went to the gas station to make a purchase, it was freezing rain and ice.when I left I fell on their sidewalk because the girl working was too busy talking a boy to go outside and salt the sidewalk, it was a complete sheet of ice.made a complaint to manager and all he said was I hope you are ok, as I explain to him that my wrist is sprained and knuckles cut, back is killing me.didnt even offer to fill out an accident report.at my job accident reports are mandatory for employees and customers, so I guess next step is a lawyer for dr bills that need to be paid!

Exxon on the corner of 175 and ridge road in maryland are ripoffs! My mother went to get gas because her gas light had just came on, after starting the pump nothing came out when she went back in to tell the cashier working he refused to let her switch pumps and get the gas she paid for or to simply give her back her money. They contacted the owner and he flat out told her she was a lair!

I am tired of the price gouging the prices on the stock exchange drop and we don't see much of a change someone is full of ###. Its either our government that is allowing exon mobile and the others that deal in gas are cheating us and over charging us or the stations are price gouging. DO Something I am going broke!

Paul may as well have told me to go to hell. Because he refused to call the store manager to get the Lottery machines up and running he told me that the Lottery was of no precedence to be calling a mmanger for when there could be bigger issues. He didn't take into consideration the customer standing before him and he didn't stop to think about the other customers who would come after me for lottery. He had poor customer service and and needs to be reprimanded for his behavior as a store clerk offering customer service.

I go on regular basis, my wife or I to purchase gas and or cigarettes from this location, at 5603 Forest Road North. On the 23rd of july I went and purchased ags and cigarettes for myself, and my wife. At register #1 that day was working one Ms. Maria. I ordered 4 packs of Doral100 menthol lights for my wife, and 4 packs of Newport 100's for myself that day. As any other time I always purchase the same equivalent number for the both of us never changes. I was later approacheed by my wife two days later after her doing the home finances for the week she asked if I had another pack of cigarettes in the car for her, "No I replied, why ?. She replied that on the reciept from our purchases on the 23rd it showed that I purchased 5 packs of Doral Menthol 100 lights, when in fact I'd only got 4/4 that day. I returned on the 26th to return for futher purchases and bring this to the attention of the store manager. When doing so by Ms. Jazzman (Asst. Manager) I was told that there was no way to know wether this infact took place, as if I were a liar. I believe, and know that a daily account of inventory should be being taken anymore these day's for purposes of theft. Even if it may involve employee theft's these day's. Futher I have owned my own businesses so I know in fact that Ms. Jazzman was very wrong for her response in this matter and not being willing to investigate further. On the 28th of July I returned to make another purchase for cigarettes, and fuel. I saw that the manager was infact on duty at this point and discussed the same with one Mr. Mike of this location, and in rseponse to my complaint, atleast he was willing to check his inventory stat's although it showed everything correctly, I am stating that to and before God, I know that I purchase the same amount for my wife, and myself whenever I purchase. Never would I be that unthoughtful to the very woman I adore.
I ask that a furtherb investigation be done, I refuse to pay for others negligence, inproffiencey, nad inability to keep thier mind on thier work at the expense of the public's hard earned income, and credit.

Exxon rudeness

On the day on January 17th, 2010 in the late afternoon to evening, my fiancé and I were driving when we got a flat tire. After visiting every air pump in the area available and reading "out of order" on each we, an Aarp man recommended we go to Exxon since it was the only place open. When we arrived, it was started to mist outsideand the garage doors were open and vacant so we slowly pulled inside. As we were coming to a stop, a large, young white guy opened cmw charging into the garage yelling "Hey!" Startled, my fiancé and I thought maybe we are supposed to wait outside so we reversed the car and waited. The young guy was back inside by this point and a. Even larger white man stood outside. He yelled that we were blocking his gas pumpand needed to move from where he stood. He looked around up and there were four pumps open for easy access and one one customer pumping gas and staring. I decided to ignore that as I stepped out of the car to explain while we were he in a calm manner. After asking for his help, he told me that "we don't fix tires in the rain" and that we would have to come back another day in the rudiest way possible. I thought the garage was open for that reason. I paused before saying "We won't" and walked back to the car. The man said a smart remark in return. Inside I could see that there was a third person, a white woman who looked embarrassed. I pulled up to the window and wrote down what happened, date, time, and address. Years ago I used to go there all the time when different people worked there. I don't know what happened over the years and I had never experienced anything like that before. Seemed liked racism to me.

Exxon awful experience

I have been a regular customer at this service station, Grand Central Parkway in Forest Hills and have never been treated so poorly. I called yesterday to bring in my1995 Mercedes for inspection and received an appointment for 9:30 this morning. When I brough it in, Mike, the manager told me it would take 1hour to 1 1/2 hours, I then called at 12 and was told at 3 PM and then called at 3 and was told at 4 and I wend to the service station, the rude manager is a liar and his word means nothing. I find this a total disrespect and I think something should be done to correc this problem. The man is a sleeze.

Exxon mtn acc debited

My MTN ACC was debited with R87.70 by Mobil 365 without my permission ! I contacted MTN, they gave me a telephone nr, [protected] which I tried to phone. The nr has a answering message which says, THE SERVICE PROVIDER YOU PHONED IS NOT AVAILABLE TRY LATER ! I've tried the whole day woth not luck ! Please help me get these charges back, I DID NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS SERVICES !

Exxon unprofessional service

I wish to file a complaint against the Mobil Station located at 22381 El Toro Road, Lake Forest, CA. The employee there named "NILA" was very rude to me when I visited the store on Sat. Oct. 31 at 8 P.M. Firstly, I tried to get gas, some shopping and some lottery tickets. The man working behind the counter told me he didn't want to take my $100 bill, then when I gave him smaller change, he refused to take the money for both lottery tickets and gas. He made me wait until NILA took care of me. Then she said to me, it's clearly on the door we don't take more than $50 (which it does NOT. ALL IT SAYS IS THAT THEY DON'T HAVE MORE THAN $50 in the drawer at a time) She told me it was clearly stated on the glass to which I replied, how many people actually read the signs in front of the store to which she rudely stated, "maybe if you'd pay more attention, you would have seen the sign. I wish to complain about this store about her rudeness. I am a regular customer of this station as I live near the station and I don't have to be treated like this. I refuse to do any business with people who are rude to me therefore I will not be doing any more business with them.

Exxon racially motivated rudeness

I am normally not the type of person to write or call to a company. However I am completely perplexed at the most appalling customer service I have ever been treated to in my life. A carload of us had stopped at the frisco Exxon of Preston road at 11655 Preston Road at 1:30 am on the night of October 31st. One man with us, went in to get his cigarettes but apparently had only his prison ID. Although I am not familiar with what to look for on fake ID's, the man is clearly over the age of 18 and has no drivers license or other forms of ID he uses. I have seen him use his ID multiple times at multiple other locations- he looks so old that he rarely even gets carded anymore. My point being, his only form of legitimate identification wasn't being accepted. What I wonder, is how the state can issue an ID card that cannot be used? I myself went in and before even getting to the counter, before even knowing what I was coming in for, he states quite rudely that he can't sell them. I said excuse me? And he then stated because I was in the car with him, he can't sell me any cigarettes. However, I went in to get gas but he never bothered to find out and after the rude confrontation I wanted to just leave. The car next to us was also with our party and upon leaving outside I told my friend what had just happened as he was on his way in. We got in the car to leave and noticed when our friend got to the door; both doors were locked with no employee to be seen. How can that be that both doors were locked at a 24hr gas station that clearly stated on the building that it's 24 hrs? Had the tall, skinny, bald, middle aged white man with glasses been wearing a name tag, you surely would have gotten it on this complaint. I feel like this man made a poor decision that was racially motivated or made upon seeing that he was talking to an ex-convict, and I would not have written except that this is the third time, at least, he has been completely rude to me. When I got home, I called the Exxon to get the employees name and it rang multiple times with no answer. Moments later the phone rings at my home at 2 am in the morning with 2 sleeping kids upstairs. Really?! After tonight I can assure you that this family will not be doing business with Exxon after receiving such abusive, bad mannered customer service and I am very disappointed that Exxon thinks this employee is an asset to the company.

I went to the Exxon of Chapel Creek boulevard in Fort Worth Tx with my friend and my little brother. While my brother looked for what he wanted my friend talked to someone he knew that worked there. As I waited for my borther to make up his mind and for my friend to stop talking to the employee he knew the manager rudely walked up to us and told us to get out. Exxon lost three customers that day as we refuse to buy anything from that company ever again.

Exxon incorrect gas pump

Sunday Sept 27, 2009 I went to replenish my tank. The pump went very fast to 6.153 gallons at $2.429/gal I WAS VERY SURPRISED! On Friday 9/25/09 I drove from 169 Lake Susan Lake, W.P.B. FL 33411 : 117 Miles. I started with a FULL TANK ON GAS from Okeechobee and Jog (I topped the gas of tank there before entering the FL Turnpike ) When I arrived to 230 Atlantic Ave, Melbourne, the car went in the garage until Sunday when I went to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 3780 A1A Melbourne Beach (The gas station is next to Publix and Publix is next to the church) The car went back into the garage until I departed Sunday
9/27/09...I was concern if something was wrong with my car a Honda Civic that normally does 31-32 miles/gal on highway.
Monday 9/28/09 I went to the same gas station : Hess on Okeechobee and Jog...the odometer read 117.4 miles I filled up and it took 3.64 gals...There is nothing wrong with my car...Please check that gas station I would not like to have other people over paying.

I do not know how to send pictures through the e-mail but would be glad to mail both receipts via USPO...let me know.

Exxon overcharge

On 8/19/09 I stopped at this station to fill my tank (35 gallons). I was at Pump # 1 which would not clear so that I could use my debit card. I went inside to get the clerk to clear the pump so that I could use it. The pump still would not clear and I returned inside to get the problem fixed. I was towing a trailer and the other pumps were full so I could not move to another pump.. The clerk took my debit card and asked me how much fuel I would be pumping. I replied that it normally takes about $75 to fill my tank at todays prices. He debited my card for $75. I pumped $64 worth of gas and went inside to get change and a receipt. He cancels the $75 charge on my debit card and then charges me $64 on the same card, hands me both the cancellation receipt and the proper charge receipt and I head back home to Ft. Myers. Looking at my bank statement today, I see that I have been charged for both the receipts. Please take the $75 charge off of my credit card.

I filled up at the station and charged it to my debit card. I filled up $72 worth of gasoline. I came home and checked my balance online and found I was charged $126! I never shop at Mobil and now I don't think I wil again. I need to be reimbursed immediately!

When the 75 was credited, you will not see the credit immediatly. This can take up to 10 business days with a debit card. Do not use a debit card if you do not want your funds tied up.

Exxon credit card interest charges

I have used Mobil as my only source of gas for at least the last five years. I always pay the bill in full every month, with the exception of $3.00 two months ago. I put in the wrong dollar amount. Well last month I got charged $3.62 because of the error. OK I missed up I paid it and the $3.00. Now this month there is interest charge of $2.19. When I called to ask why I was told that I would have to pay interest on all purchases every month until I go 2 months without a purchase or use. I could not believe what I was hearing. Even if you pay your bill in full if you ever have not you will pay interest until you don't use your card for 2 months!

I asked exactly what the current balance was, and told them to close the account, after I asked them if they were caszy. Am I the only one who thinks that this is ridiculas?

Why do credit card companys get to make up their own ridiculas rules, and just keep ripping us off.

Exxon Customer service

I have been a customer of this station for several years. I fuel and wash 3 car here. There is a cashier named Sohel who does not know how to treat customers. On June 28, 2009, on my way to church I stopped by to buy some Tic-Tacs. There were 3 other customers there. Sohel was filling up a soda machine and making all of us wait. This was a big joke to him. I put the Tic-Tacs back on the shelf and left. I did not want to be late for Church. I mostly pay at the pump, but a couple days later I stopped in for a newspaper, At this time I could see that he was angry. Today (July 12, 2009) at about 2:30 pm CDT I stopped to fuel one of my vehicles, and after getting denied from two different credit cards I want inside to see what the problem was. Sohel was there and stated my card was denied. I asked him did he denied my purchase. He would not give me an answer. He did not know that I had just fueled one of my other cars a few minutes ago at a pump he could not see out of the window. I have the receipt for this purchase. I went directly to a another local gas station and used the some card that I first attempted here. I have enjoyed the service that I have received over the last several years. Everyone there knows me, and have always had a friendly attitude, except Sohel. I have hear other customers and employees complain about Sohel. I think that you should check into this matter because he will drive good customers away

The station was unable to accept my credit card. I was unable to use one of my credit cards after trying at several pumps. I ended up using a second cedit card. A friend tried his credit card to get gas for his vehicle with no success and ended up getting gas at a Shell station down the street. A third friend, whose credit card worked for his vehicle tryed to use it for a second time for the second, unsuccessful friend, It failed. Myself and two friends (on motorcycles) had been riding all week covering 1600 miles with no credit card issues. The attendant said repeatedly, "It's the technology". When we went to use the rest room, I can honestly say I cannot remember seeing one in such filthy, run-down condition. My friend said he had to flush the toilet with his foot, not wanting to touch anything in the room. My email address is [protected]@netzero.com. None of the eight pumps have had receipt paper for the past several months. If you want your receipt, you have to go inside and wait in line for five minutes.
There is a jerky feel to it as it pumps about one gallon a minute. So I'm standing there waiting about 10 minutes just to fill my tank up. This situation has been on and off but mostly on.
The only good my constant complaining to the people that work there has been two free drinks. But I am seriously tired of it. The only reason I come to Exxon is because I own stock, but I don't think I can wait another 20 minutes just to fill up and get my receipt again...

I have received several letters from someone claiming to be Exxon Mobil seeking to employ people in the company in Malaysia. They are asking to obtain a work visa and any monies that the potential employee spends, They will reimburse. Iam hoping someone will look into this and put a stop to this scam. I have noticed that Exxon has put a Job Scam notice on their website. Thank You.

these are facts of life, I am amazed that you felt so strongly about these two issues that you created a complaint and listed a resume of contact information. Nobody's going to be sending a letter of apology or giving away free gas cards because of your experience.

I would have forgotten about this ten minutes after i left the station -- are you on any medications? Your sense of entitlement is off the chart!

Exxon car damage

While being at the Mobile Gasoline station in El Hegaz, Heliopolis, Cairo-Egypt, washing my car, water was splashed into the car motor, causing tremendeous damage to it.

Contacting Exxon Mobil Egypt did not solve the problem & I had to pay around 12 000 L.E to repair this damage, that was not re-imbursed till today.

The following documents are available upon request:

1- Police Report

2- Invoice from Mobil El Hegaz Benzin station, showing that they should have washed the motor with a special spray!

3- Certificate from Mercedes Benz agency in Cairo stating that the damages caused are due to the unprofessional car motor wash.

4- Invoice from Mercedes Benz totaling 3600 LE

5- Invoice from Mercedes Benz totaling 6270 LE

6- Replacement Car rental receipt totaling 2200 L.E
