ExploreTalent ExploreTalent Review: Is It Worth the Investment?

So, let me tell you about my experience with ExploreTalent. I received a phone call from them recently, and it seems like everyone is getting the same call. They told me that my profile matched roles for upcoming films like Bay Watch and Furious 8. I was skeptical because I had made an account with them back in 2008, and there's no way they would think I still looked the same as I did in my profile picture from back then. But the guy on the phone was really nice, and he gave me the whole spiel about how they could help me with my career.

I told him that I had used the site back in 2008, but it did nothing for me. I submitted for roles that I thought were right for me, but I never got called for anything. Plus, I've been acting for 10 years now, and I'm also on the production side of the film industry. I didn't find their site useful back then, and I wasn't sure if it would be any different now.

After a 15-minute conversation, he finally got around to the pricing. They offer 3, 2, and 1-year plans, with the lowest being around $288. My phone kept going in and out during our conversation because I get bad signals in my apartment. Right when he was about to ask me which plan I wanted to choose, my phone crapped out, and I lost signal. It was pretty funny, to be honest.

He did call back later and left a message, but I haven't called him back yet. He did mention that I could check with the Better Business Bureau, which I might do. But the point is, I used their site back in 2008 with no results, which is why I stopped using it. I'm curious if anyone has actually benefited from using them. Have you? Let me know.

ExploreTalent ExploreTalent Review: A Waste of Time and Money for Aspiring Entertainers

I recently decided to give ExploreTalent a try, hoping to land some auditions and gigs in the entertainment industry. I was promised by my representative, Lakeisha, that I would soon be on my way to making $800 per gig and that I shouldn't worry about not landing a role or gig. However, after signing up in February of this year, it is now August and I have yet to land anything.

I quickly realized that ExploreTalent is more of a "self-service" program, where you pay to book your own auditions. You spend endless hours clicking away at openings in your area, many of which require you to pay for your own travel expenses. You don't work directly with any casting directors or have any consistent connections that could help you land a gig.

To be honest, I could have easily googled auditions in my area or other states for free rather than paying for this wack self-service program. They hype you up in the beginning and even offer discounts to get their commission and customers, but you aren't guaranteed any real help.

Booking auditions on the website every day when they have openings is the most they can do for you. The customer reps are just that - reps. They have no connections and are not working to help you succeed. Even trying to reach out to someone for help is always a hassle, and the reps can be rude and hang up on you. It's unprofessional and ghetto.

Overall, my experience with ExploreTalent was a bad one. I was hoping for a breakthrough in my acting and singing career, but I have a better chance of making it on American Idol than with these money-suckers.

ExploreTalent Beware of ExploreTalent: A Review of the Acting Site's Deceptive Practices

Let me tell you something about ExploreTalent. It's like a site called backstage.com, but with a big difference. ExploreTalent says "free sign up!" to get your phone number. Then they call and email you, and even text you with fake roles and famous actors' names to get you excited. Then they try to get you to sign up by saying "all you gotta do is sign up!" But think about it, if they were a real company with hundreds of clients, they wouldn't have time to call and annoy you about signing up.

Now, let's look at backstage.com. They tell you right away to make an account and get audition info. They let the service sell itself. Once you pay, you can find auditions near you and contact the director or casting director with pictures and a message. If they're interested, they'll contact you and you can set up an appointment from there.

It's sad that companies like ExploreTalent exist. As someone who has a deep passion for acting, I hope to be successful one day. But sites like these can take a lot away from you mentally as an actor. One thing I've learned in this business is that signing up for a site like this won't get you anywhere as an actor. Dedication and a persistent approach to learning the craft will get you somewhere.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. It's important to be aware of companies like ExploreTalent and to not let them take advantage of your dreams.

ExploreTalent ExploreTalent Review: Rude and Unprofessional Customer Service Experience

So, I got this voicemail from a lady who seemed to be interested in my online profile. I had signed up for a few acting profiles, so I decided to give them a call back. I was a bit skeptical, but I thought I'd give it a shot. The woman on the other end of the line was incredibly rushed and the background noise was nearly unbearable, resulting in her shouting into the phone. It was quite difficult to understand what she was saying, but I managed to catch a few things.

She gave me a rundown of how amazing their services were and how much money I could make. She even mentioned an opportunity for a casting call in Palmdale for The Avengers Infinity War. I was a bit skeptical about this, as Palmdale is not far from Los Angeles, where most casting calls are held. However, I decided to hear her out.

After she had finished babbling on and on, she finally gave me the chance to buy a subscription to their services. I told her that I would not purchase the services without knowing if they actually work. She insisted that it was the only way I would be cast and that talent agencies take a percentage of my money. I responded by saying that I told her how she was going to get my money, and if she didn't like that, then she didn't have to do business with me.

She began screaming at me, saying that's how talent agencies work and that I am ignorant about the program. I had googled the program while she was going on and on earlier in the phone call, so I knew what she was talking about. I reiterated that I was not interested in paying for something that I wasn't sure was a set thing, and if she wanted my money, they would have to offer a free week trial in order to prove the services work.

She then shouted at me that I had no money and hung up. I was quite taken aback by her behavior and decided that I would not be doing business with them. Overall, my experience with ExploreTalent was not a good one. The woman I spoke to was rude and unprofessional, and I would not recommend their services to anyone.

ExploreTalent Explore Talent Review: Total Scam, Beware of Fake Casting Calls

from this website, it's a total scam.

So, I had a really weird experience with Explore Talent recently. I hadn't used the website in years, my profile had expired way back in 2012. But, out of nowhere, I got a call from them saying that casting directors were interested in me for a speaking role in the new Avengers movie. I was pretty confused, because my information was so outdated by then. I mean, my height, hair, and location had all changed, so they couldn't have known what I even looked like anymore. But the guy on the phone insisted that they wanted me specifically.

I kept asking for more information about the role, the dates, and why they wanted me, but he said he'd have to connect me to the casting directors. So, he put me on hold for a few minutes. When he got back on the line, he said that my profile had expired a long time ago, and that in order to log into my account from his computer, he'd need to update my membership. I was a bit hesitant, but I stupidly gave him my credit card info before asking the price of membership renewal.

It turned out to be almost $500 for a 2-year membership, which was definitely more than I remembered paying when I first signed up. I told him I couldn't afford it and that I needed to think about it, and that I'd call him back later. At this point, it was starting to sound pretty scammy to me. But he was really stubborn and kept saying that I'd make back the money in no time with the role, and that he needed a decision right now because the casting directors were waiting. I mean, I had waited all weekend to call him back after his initial voicemail, so obviously if they could wait 3 days, they could wait another hour. But I said I wasn't interested.

He got pretty annoyed and said, "Okay, fine, I will offer the opportunity to someone else and you are missing out." Honestly, the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. I would definitely stay away from this website, it's a total scam.

ExploreTalent ExploreTalent Review: False Hope and Money-Grabbing Tactics

I recently had an experience with ExploreTalent that left me feeling pretty disappointed. I had signed up my daughter with them, hoping to help her pursue her dreams of acting. At first, everything seemed great - they offered a special introductory rate that was very affordable, and I was excited to see what opportunities they could help my daughter find.

However, things quickly took a turn for the worse. After a few months, I received a call from ExploreTalent telling me that a film producer was interested in my daughter for a role in Jack Reacher 2. They asked for her sizes and height, and told me that the pay would be $841 per day. I was thrilled - this was exactly the kind of opportunity we had been hoping for!

But then, they put me on hold while they supposedly sent my daughter's information to the producer. When they came back on the line, they told me that my subscription had lapsed and my credit card on file was expired. They asked for a new card to bill me $199.00 so that they could reactivate my account and send my daughter's information to the producer.

I was suspicious - it seemed like they were just trying to get more money out of me. I told them I didn't have my cards on me, and they said that if I called back with the card number, they would send my daughter's information to the producer. But I never called back - something about the whole situation just didn't feel right.

Two months later, I received another call from ExploreTalent. This time, it was a man who told me that a film producer was interested in my daughter for a role in his movie. The pay was once again $841 per day. I was skeptical, but I decided to go along with it and see what happened.

Once again, they asked for my daughter's information and put me on hold while they supposedly contacted the people on the film. When they came back on the line, they told me that the people seeking my daughter for the audition were unable to access my account. They also informed me that my credit card had expired, and that if I updated it now, they could reactivate my account and send my daughter's information to the producer.

At this point, I had had enough. I hung up on the person and decided that ExploreTalent was not the right choice for my daughter's acting career. It's a shame that they try to get people's money by giving them false hope - it's not fair to those who are genuinely trying to pursue their dreams.

ExploreTalent Explore Talent Review: Pushy and Desperate for Money - Don't Fall for Their Scam!

So, I got a call from Las Vegas, Nevada and decided to listen to the voicemail. It was a recording of a lady saying they were looking for talent and needed to know pretty soon if I was going to audition. I decided to call the number back to find out who "they" were. An actual lady answered the phone and reminded me I signed up on Explore Talent's website with my email and phone number (which I regret) and started telling me what it was about and congratulated me telling me I was 1 out of 20 in my area to be chosen for a part in the new Avengers movie. She said casting directors had personally looked at my online profile and needed me in four weeks to audition for a speaking role which would pay a high amount of money a day. It started out all well and good until she started mentioning how I needed to pay money to register so I could be considered for a role... that's when it started sounding fishy to me.

I told her I would think about it and that I needed to go since I had class in about ten minutes; well then, she started becoming very persistent and told me she needed an answer right then and there because she was meeting with the casting directors within an hour. I told her they were the ones to call me that day and shouldn't expect an answer from me right away, but she told me I was the last of the 20 to register and that they needed it. I then proceeded to tell her I needed to talk to my parents about it (not really because I knew it was a scam by then, but I was trying to be nice), but she said she needed an answer right away. I told her I would call her later that day with an answer, but she insisted that I call her within an hour. I told her it wasn't possible because of class and other obligations, but she wouldn't quit.

After telling her AGAIN that I needed a second opinion and how important it was for me to do so, she literally said, "But aren't you old enough to make your own decisions, and isn't this your dream?"... I decided not to be nice anymore and after she wouldn't let me hang up, I said, "IF YOU WANT ME THAT BAD, YOU'LL WAIT FOR ME." She completely changed her mood and kind of had a rain check because she very compliantly said, "okay... okay". I hung up after that and then my friend found this site for me, and now I'm here telling you my story...

Don't feel rushed into giving any information or money! If they don't want you to ask anyone else about it, it looks really bad on their part. She made me feel very ignorant, and that's why I had to speak very aggressively towards her. Some people just need to be yelled at. I mean, come on, who wouldn't want to be in the new Avengers movie? But, you have to be careful and not fall for scams like this. Always do your research and ask for a second opinion. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Overall, my experience with Explore Talent was not a good one. They seemed very pushy and desperate for my money. I would not recommend them to anyone. It's important to be cautious when dealing with companies like this. Don't let them pressure you into making a decision you're not comfortable with. Stay safe and always do your research before giving out any personal information or money.

ExploreTalent ExploreTalent Review: A Scamming Scheme Exposed by Former Employee

I recently quit ExploreTalent a few months ago and I have to say, it's a huge scamming scheme that has been going on for years. Don't be fooled by the "positive" fake reviews that you read, they are all written by the sales manager, Ram Luzada, and his army of Filipino minions. Let me tell you about some of their tactics:

Firstly, the company is not actually based in the USA as they claim to be. If you ask for the address, they will give you the location of a bakery store in Las Vegas. The actual company is located in Cebu, Philippines.

Secondly, they provide fake castings. Most of their castings are either fake or have already expired. However, they will send mass SMS to people saying that a Forever 21 campaign wants them for their next print shoot or that the next Spiderman 3 movie wants them as an extra. Obviously, it's all a bunch of crap.

Thirdly, most of the casting directors don't even know that their castings are being posted on that $#*!ty website. They just copy casting alerts from any part of the internet (even Facebook) and post them on the website as if one of the casting directors did it.

Fourthly, after you pay for the useless membership, you won't hear from them again until it's time to renew. Then, they will try to contact you saying that "you have missed a lot of audition opportunities."

Fifthly, the scammer agents such as William Price or Maxie Powers will lie to you. They will tell you anything you want to hear so that you buy their scam. They will say things like "a casting director wants you to audition for them, they will pay for transportation and accommodation fees, I will be your agent and I will do everything for you." Watch out, they are just a couple of low-life Filipinos playing to be sales agents.

Sixthly, when training their scamming agents, most of the training consisted of explaining why ExploreTalent "isn't a scam." Even the agents know the scam that is behind this.

Seventhly, they will try to hook you up with fake casting director invitations. They literally send those to everyone. I myself, when I was an employee, could send them, pretending I was a casting director myself.

Eighthly, if you fall for their scam, remember that you can call and ask for a full refund.

Ninthly, these people only prey on people's hope to be an actor or model. They will literally tell you anything to make you believe you can make it into this industry. I guarantee you: NO ONE HAS EVER GOTTEN ANY REAL AUDITION in scam talent (ExploreTalent).

I hope this review prevents a lot of people from giving their hard-earned money to these Filipino pieces of $#*!. From my end, I will do anything within my reach to bring these scammers down.

I hope you are reading this Ram Luzada (sales manager) and Michael Cook (CEO), your time is coming.

ExploreTalent Explore Talent Scam Review: Don't Waste Your Time or Money on This Illegitimate Agency

I got a call from a man who was in a noisy restaurant. I could hear the sound of cutlery and people talking loudly around him. It was so loud that I could barely hear him. I thought it was strange that a professional would call me from a public place. A professional would call me from their own office. He told me that he was with Explore Talent and wanted to speak with me. I was confused because I couldn't remember submitting anything to Explore Talent. However, I thought that maybe I had forgotten.

I gave him a few minutes and he asked if I was looking to audition. I said yes. I thought that this was a legitimate agency because I had contacted a few about representation. However, I was still confused about why he was calling me from such a loud location. Then he said, "Oh, I see you've actually been talking to Brenda in the past about joining. Hold on for a second while I call her." I was even more confused because I hadn't spoken to anyone named Brenda. He came back on the line and asked me again if I wanted to audition. I repeated yes.

The guy started to tell me that I was a perfect match for Baywatch and Transformers. I was listening and feeling like this had to be a joke. This didn't sound like how an agent would call a potential client. Then he said, "Oh wow, I'm looking at your pictures and you're so beautiful." It sounded fake and scripted. Then he asked me, "Is your hair black? I can't tell." If he was looking at my pictures, he would be able to tell my hair color. I laughed and hung up. I did a quick Google search and found this page. I had to write a review.

It's sad to see these reviews. I hope no one else gives these people their hard-earned money. You don't have to pay to go on auditions. It's illegal, and this is a scam. I go on 5-10 auditions a week and have never paid to meet with a casting director. He told me he was located in Nevada, and I live in Los Angeles. If I want to work with an agency, I'll use one of the thousands of legit agencies located here in LA. If you haven't signed up yet, don't! There are legitimate websites like LACasting, Actor's Access, Backstage, and IMDbPro that provide real casting information, and they cost considerably less money!

Also, please use common sense! If you live in the middle of Idaho, the chances of a big-time casting agent living in the tiny town nearby are slim to none. If it sounds too good to be true, then chances are, it is!

ExploreTalent ExploreTalent Review: A Scamming Company That Preys on People's Dreams and Aspirations

I recently received an email from ExploreTalent about a modeling gig in my area that would pay a whopping $4500. I was ecstatic and thought to myself, "I need that money and the exposure!" So, I decided to give them a call and talk to one of their representatives. However, the conversation left me with a lot of red flags.

The representative seemed very scripted and kept repeating himself. He told me that my account wasn't active since I never paid the fee, and that for 3 months, it's $99, and for 6 months, it's $188. He also mentioned that after I activate my account, bookings and everything will be free, and that a CD might even provide transportation for me if needed.

But, I couldn't help but wonder how a CD would view my account if it wasn't active. It didn't make sense to me. Besides, a casting director's job is to look for new talent, and they get a percentage of what they make off of you. No legitimate CD is going to have you pay for a "potential interview."

I used to be with a legitimate company called AMTC when I was 16, and I got to meet real CDs. However, no one wanted a 16-year-old singer, and they all wanted me for commercials or modeling. I was stupid in turning them down. One of my best friends came with me as a part of the team from my state, and she got a career in modeling. She's been modeling for about 3 1/2 years now because of that. I've never asked her to help me because I want to do it for myself, but the point is that when I was with AMTC, I had to pay for training and everything for the extra exposure most people don't get. But, I never once had to pay for an audition, and if a CD was interested, they or an agent of theirs would give me a call. There was no call center noise in the background, and they weren't pushy for people they've never casted before. Legitimate companies aren't desperate for talent like scamming companies like ExploreTalent.

After hanging up, I decided to check them out because they just didn't seem legit to me. They promised the moon and made it seem like if I pay this fee, I'm set. But with AMTC, they always told me it's going to be hard work, proper exposure, your own talent, and who you know.

After looking them up on multiple websites, I found out that they have an F rating with the BBB. Most complainants allege unauthorized credit or debit card charges. Some customers complain that after they canceled the service, they were still charged. Some complain that they signed up for a free membership but were later telephonically solicited and offered jobs, audition assistance, or that casting directors were interested in interviewing them, but they had to sign up for a pro membership to receive more information.

In conclusion, I would not recommend ExploreTalent to anyone. They are a scamming company that preys on people's dreams and aspirations. Don't fall for their lies and false promises.

ExploreTalent Explore Talent Review: A Scam Agency That Asks for Money Before Auditions

I had a terrible experience with Explore Talent. I wouldn't recommend signing up with them at all. I filled out their forms and waited for a few weeks. Then, I received an email from them saying that a hair modeling company in Atlanta, GA, had requested me specifically for their gig. I was excited and curious about what was next. So, I called Explore Talent with my mother (since I am a minor) to find out more.

However, the first two times I called, my "talent agent" was in a meeting. Finally, when we got through, the man who answered the phone was painfully scripted. He didn't seem to know what he was talking about. He started listing off auditions in NYC, New Mexico, and Texas. I live in Tennessee, so I was confused. Then, he said there was a singing audition (even though I had specifically stated that I couldn't sing) and an audition for a middle-aged, African American male (even though I am a Caucasian, high school-aged female). He completely ignored our questions and seemed to have no idea what was going on.

To make matters worse, he started asking for money. That's when I realized that this was a scam. No legitimate agency asks for money before you even look at an audition! It was a complete waste of time and energy. I wouldn't recommend Explore Talent to anyone.

ExploreTalent ExploreTalent Review: A Scam That Wasted My Money and Time

I recently decided to invest in my 3-year-old daughter's modeling career by purchasing a year package from ExploreTalent. At first, they were very persistent in calling and emailing me to convince me to make the purchase. However, after I paid for the subscription, I have not received any phone calls or updates from them.

Before making the purchase, I did some research and found that they are supposedly a part of BBB, although I am not sure how that is possible. When I logged onto their website, I noticed that most of the auditions posted were already past dated. Despite this, I still went ahead and paid for the subscription.

The only communication I have received from ExploreTalent is a message saying that they are ready to print my daughter's business cards and that I need to choose a picture. I have selected multiple pictures, but my daughter still does not have her business cards. The person who was initially helping us get started, Robert, never got back to us.

I even tried applying my daughter to different outdated auditions on the website myself, but I have not received any call backs or responses. I know that my daughter has potential because people always ask if she is in commercials, but ExploreTalent has not helped her career in any way.

I regret falling for this scam and wasting $300 that I could have used for my daughter's future. I should have listened to the advice that real businesses do not require payment upfront. I hope that others do not make the same mistake as me and avoid ExploreTalent.

ExploreTalent Explore Talent: A Scam Preying on Actors' Dreams and Hopes

So, my husband got a voicemail from a Las Vegas number today, and it was about a lead role in the new Fast Furious 8 movie. He was excited, but I was skeptical. The voicemail said that they had chosen him based on his photos, but he hadn't renewed his Explore Talent profile since 2015. I knew it was a scam to get him to pay $288 to renew his profile for a full year. But the catch was that he had to pay the $288 to get the information for the audition. They refused to give him any information unless he paid. Maxi, the rep who called, was extremely rude and pushy. She kept insisting that he had to pay to get the audition information.

I told my husband not to do it. Any agency that makes you pay to get an audition is a scam. We had no proof that he would even be guaranteed a role or get paid for auditioning. When my husband spoke with Maxi later on the phone, he explained that he didn't feel comfortable giving the agency money to audition for a role. He said that if the CD was serious about casting him, they could give him a call. But Maxi didn't like that and said "F$#@ you" and hung up on him.

I can't believe how rude and unprofessional they were. It's clear that Explore Talent is a scam. They prey on people's dreams and hopes of becoming an actor or actress. They make false promises and then ask for money. It's disgusting. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. If you're reading this, please don't fall for it. Read the other reviews, and you'll see that they all say the same thing. SCREW YOU EXPLORE TALENT!

ExploreTalent ExploreTalent Review: Not Worth the Money or Hassle for Aspiring Actors

I was always told that you should never have to pay anyone anything until you've landed a role. Anything or anyone that says you have to means you should go elsewhere. So, against my better judgement, in February of 2015, I decided to pay the $120 fee to become a pro member of ExploreTalent. I figured since I wasn't doing very well on my own, maybe this would be better at helping me get started.

When I initially started, I did receive a few auditions and a call from my rep about once a week, which the consistency only lasted a month. Throughout the year, I would receive maybe one email a month, if that. So, yesterday (July 2016), I received a call about being wanted to audition for Transformers 5 and Wolverine 3. The lady on the phone had a very thick northern accent, and I couldn't really understand her. As she continued to explain, she started to say that the casting directors won't be able to contact me unless I become a pro member. She kept trying to force me to give her a credit card number, but after multiple times of me telling her I didn't have that information with me, she sat quiet on the phone for about 10 seconds, and just hung up on me! I found her to be very rude, and I think the whole thing was a waste of time to begin with. But, she really was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Overall, my experience with ExploreTalent has been less than satisfactory. While I did receive a few auditions and calls in the beginning, the consistency quickly faded away. I was promised a lot of things, but I didn't see any results. The website itself is not user-friendly, and it's hard to navigate. I also found that the customer service was lacking. When I had questions or concerns, it was hard to get a hold of anyone, and when I did, they weren't very helpful.

In conclusion, I would not recommend ExploreTalent to anyone looking to break into the entertainment industry. While it may seem like a good idea at first, it's not worth the money or the hassle. There are other, better resources out there that can help you achieve your goals. Don't waste your time or money on ExploreTalent.

ExploreTalent Disappointing Experience with ExploreTalent: Negative Five-Star Rating

So, I had a bit of a rough experience with ExploreTalent. I signed up online, but I got a bit nervous about giving them money for a membership, so I didn't go through with it. But then, about a week later, I got a call from a guy named Charles who convinced me to try out a six-month membership for $188. He said I could cancel anytime, and if I was happy with the service, I'd be charged the same amount every six months. He also promised that I'd get some auditions within the first week.

After I got off the phone with him, I decided to do some research on the company. I found a ton of bad reviews and a lot of people giving them a one-star rating. I immediately called back and asked to cancel my membership. The person I talked to said that all the bad reviews were just from a few unhappy customers, but I wasn't convinced. I mean, how could they have a one-star rating with just a few unhappy customers? Eventually, they transferred me to customer service to cancel my account.

They told me my account was cancelled and that I'd receive an email confirming it, but I never got that email. The next day, Charles called me back and convinced me to give it one more week before cancelling for a full refund if I wasn't happy. I called them eight to ten times over the next few days, but I was always on hold forever. Eventually, I got fed up and filed fraudulent charges with my credit card company and disputed the charge.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with ExploreTalent. I'd give them a negative five-star rating if I could.

ExploreTalent Beware of Fraudulent Talent Scout on ExploreTalent: My Experience and Warning to Others

If you're thinking about joining ExploreTalent, be cautious. There's a guy on there who claims to be a talent and says he can help you with your career. He'll friend you on Explore Talent and then send you an email asking you to text him if you have any questions about auditioning. He'll tell you that he's been in the business for a while and that he's met all these celebrities, but he won't have any proof to back up his claims.

He'll set up a time to call you and ask about your pictures, how pretty you are, and say that you need good headshots and body photos. He'll look up headshot photography around where you live and will say they do bikini/lingerie shoots. He'll then ask you to send him the photos to see if your poses are what the industry is looking for. If you refuse, he'll get very upset and say that you're foolish and that you won't make any money. He'll also repeat what Tyra Banks and other models have said before.

He claims that he's always at an audition but can't tell you what movie he has done. After all of this, I learned that he isn't a pro member and is just looking for weak-minded women who are willing to do anything to be in the industry. I'm not one of them, so I'm warning other women that he's a fraud and can't help you nor himself get into the industry. Ladies, please be very careful.

I was disappointed with my experience on ExploreTalent. I thought it would be a great platform to showcase my talent and get discovered, but instead, I encountered this guy who was just trying to take advantage of me. It's frustrating because I know there are legitimate people on the site who could help me, but it's hard to distinguish them from the frauds.

Overall, I would say that ExploreTalent has potential, but you need to be careful and do your research before engaging with anyone on the site. Don't fall for the promises of fame and fortune without doing your due diligence. It's important to protect yourself and your career aspirations.

ExploreTalent ExploreTalent Review: Scam or Legit? My Experience with Their Casting Director Offer

I recently had an experience with ExploreTalent and I have to say, it was not a positive one. I was contacted by someone claiming to be a casting director for a Tom Cruise movie and was told that I had been selected for a role. They said that I would be paid over $800 a day and that all of my expenses would be covered. I was thrilled at the opportunity, but then they dropped the bombshell - I needed to pay for a subscription to their service in order to complete my registration and secure the role.

At first, I was skeptical. I had heard some negative things about ExploreTalent and wasn't sure if this was a legitimate opportunity or not. I asked the woman on the phone how the casting director had found my profile if I hadn't paid for a subscription yet, and she got defensive and started name-dropping celebrities like Snoop Dogg who had supposedly used their service in the past. She also told me that if I didn't act fast, the opportunity would be gone.

I didn't like the pressure tactics, and I certainly didn't like the idea of paying hundreds of dollars just to be considered for a role. I told her that if the casting director was really interested in me, they would cover the cost of the subscription themselves. Needless to say, I didn't end up paying for anything and I never heard from them again.

Overall, I have to say that my experience with ExploreTalent was not a good one. The website seems unprofessional and the whole company feels like a scam. I've read other reviews that say the same thing - that they promise you the world but then ask for money upfront. I wouldn't recommend using their service if you're serious about pursuing a career in acting or modeling. There are plenty of other legitimate agencies out there that won't try to take advantage of you.

ExploreTalent ExploreTalent.com Review: A Complete Scam - Beware of Their Impossible Cancellation Process!

I recently signed up for the 7-day trial on ExploreTalent.com, and let me tell you, it was a real headache trying to cancel it. They make it nearly impossible to cancel because they want to keep stealing your money! Every time I called to cancel, I spoke to the same Indian-sounding woman who tried her hardest to keep me from canceling. She would always say she would transfer me to a "specialist," but no one ever picked up the phone. When I called back, the same woman answered and acted like someone else.

Finally, after jumping through all these hoops, I was able to cancel my membership trial. But it wasn't over yet. I received an email asking me to confirm my cancellation, even though I had already specified it over the phone. When I confirmed the cancellation through the email, it came back as undeliverable. When I called to inquire about it, I was put on hold for 20 minutes and had to press 1 every minute to remain in line or 2 to leave a message. No one ever answered!

This website is a complete scam. They're just trying to steal your identity, personal information, and money. Don't be fooled by them! If you're looking for a real talent agency, do your research and search for one in your state or nearby states. Trust me, it's worth it.

ExploreTalent Exploring ExploreTalent: A Cautionary Tale for Aspiring Actors

I recently came across ExploreTalent, or should I say Tech9, as they seem to be changing their name. I started using their services when I was 17 and working, but stopped at the age of 19. I've heard from other experienced background actors that companies like these often change their name to hide their past identity. It's important to be cautious when paying for anything, as it could be a scam.

Instead, I've found success using websites like Model Mayhem and Auditions Free. With Model Mayhem, you can do trade-offs to build your portfolio and find jobs. I personally use the free plan, as I don't see the point in spending more money. However, if you're serious about getting into the acting industry, it's advised to look up agents. You can do trade-offs for headshots and sign up for agents. A real agent will be blunt with you and won't ask for payment upfront, as they get a percentage of your profits.

It's important to be cautious when reading reviews, as some may be fake. I've noticed a pattern in the wording and default pictures of some positive comments on ExploreTalent. It's possible that these were paid reviews, so it's better to be safe than sorry.

Overall, I hope this review helps others looking to break into the acting industry. Remember to be cautious and do your research before investing in any services.

ExploreTalent Explore Talent Review: Legitimate Opportunities or Shady Practices?

Explore Talent is a website that offers casting calls and events for aspiring actors and models. While they do have legitimate opportunities listed, it is important to note that they also engage in some shady practices.

As someone who has taken numerous acting and modeling classes, I can tell you that the first rule of the industry is to never pay for an audition. Auditions should always be free, and any company that asks for money in exchange for an audition is likely a scam.

I first signed up for Explore Talent when I was in middle school, about eight years ago. Five years ago, I received a text out of the blue claiming that a casting director for Modern Family was interested in my profile. In order to submit my profile for further consideration, I was told to call a certain number and jump through a number of hoops. At the time, I was only sixteen and thought this was my big chance to get discovered. I fell into the trap and paid the "haggled down" price of $100 a year to submit my picture to everyone.

The following year, I tried to cancel my account and was met with hostility from the customer service representative. To this day, I still receive unsolicited texts claiming that casting directors have looked at my outdated profile.

While Explore Talent may have some legitimate opportunities, it is important to approach the website with caution. As with any industry, there are always people looking to take advantage of hopeful and inexperienced individuals. It is important to do your research and never pay for an audition.

ExploreTalent casting entertainment

When I signed up with Explore Talent, 6 years ago, I used my credit card to make monthly payments. When I went to change my credit card info, I could not find this option anywhere on ET's website. They lock you out, the only way it seems to get rid of that credit card is wait until it expires.

They take your money, even when I contacted support to cancel. Finally I came up with an idea with my bank to correct this situation so ET can not charge me anymore. Also, this a scam. I didn't sign up to make friends or except people's friendship requests, I have Facebook for that. How utterly unprofessional and most of the accounts are fake. Don't get suckered into these online services. SCAM.

ExploreTalent Don't pay for auditions!!

I have never used their services. But I know what exactly they do.
My daughter wanted to attend one of those auditions and found this website.
They asked her to pay to be included in the participants' list.
Too bad her mom is an ex-singer and knows all of this process inside.
I stopped attending auditions one-two years ago and still remember and I'm absolutely sure that they are always free, nobody pays for that. If you give the money, it doesn't guarantee absolutely anything. And if the line in front of the door is too long, the agency won't provide you a better place. They do nothing.
So don't spend your money.

ExploreTalent please stay away from exploretalent!!

People, do no fell for this scam, ExploreTalent is fake agency and all the information on their site is also fake. I also want to say that positive reviews are fake and probably written by someone from ExploreTalent.
They will tell you have received a role in latest movie and they will promise you will be working with Hollywood celebrity actors. These people are real professionals and no matter what they'll say they will make you believe them.
After they inform you that you were the chosen one they will ask you to pay a participation fee. And they will not forget to mention your bright future.
But as soon as you pay they will inform you that something went wrong and promise you a refund and that's it - the end. People who are operating this ExploreTalent are real professional scammers, they are well trained and know all about manipulating.
People, do you really think that it's so easy to get a role, by just joining some kind of shady site?
Please stay away from ExploreTalent!

ExploreTalent exploretalent is fake!

When I found ExploreTalent I was extremely happy and decided to give it a try. Too bad I did not check the reviews because now I regret that I wasted my precious time on this scam! I bet that most of the positive reviews are fake and people who wrote them got paid or something.
I made a profile on ExploreTalent website and few weeks later received a call from someone (I guess their agent) and was told that they really liked my profile and that they had a role for me in a latest Marvel movie! Can you imagine how happy I was? I already imagined myself on the red carpet and my bright future. I told them that I'm ready and they said that they'll call me back later.
Several days passed and I finally got another call and they said that I have to pay $200 and the role will be mine. Well, that moment I though that $200 is nothing if it means that I'll become a movie star, so I paid.
Tree days later they said that I need to pay some extra money and I paid $300. Then they told that I have to pay additional $700 and will get my role. Are you kidding me? I've already paid $500 and they asked for more! I refused and asked for a refund and they said they'll give my money back, but that never happened! These people scammed and fooled me, they stole my money and they will steal from you too! You know it's not that easy to get a role, so this whole thing is just a scam! Avoid at all costs!

ExploreTalent This site is dangerous and full with scammers!

I had a terrible experience with ExploreTalent! I signed up because I've always dreamed of becoming an actress. Later I was contacted by a man who said that he found me on ExploreTalent and that I was just perfect and he offered me a role! I was so excited and thought that my dream finally came true.
So I was in contact with that man and he explained me the details. First he asked me to send him more photos which I did. But later he said that movie agency told that they need some of my bikini photos and later he said that I also need to send him some pics with me naked!
How foolish I was that I believed him! The whole thing was a scam from the very beginning and I really believe that was a real offer!
This site is dangerous and full with scammers! Don't join ExploreTalent, not a safe site!

ExploreTalent Complaining the Detractors

Just a tip of advice, when it comes to company's legibility, the most reliable source of information is the Better Business Bureau. Go to: www.bbb.org - and then type-in the certain company's name if it's legit or not. When you see it there that it is accredited with BBB then that only means that it's legit. DO NOT JUST LISTEN OR BELIEVE TO SOME OF THOSE AUTOMATED MESSAGES BECAUSE SOME OF THOSE ARE JUST DETRACTORS FROM OTHER CASTING COMPANY ASWELL. It is still a business after all. I hope this will help you guys.

The Better Business Bureau is not an actual accredited organization. Its a "pay to play" accreditation that does not mean much. Yes, people can use the organization to lodge complaints but there is no due diligence taken by BBB to validate complaints OR POSITIVE REVIEWS. Don't believe me? Google it. Dont let yourself get scammed by snake oil salesman.

I joined ExploreTalent and finally received a call from them! The person told me that the new Transformers director wanted me for a role! I was so excited and agreed. Then she said that I have to pay some money and only after that I will get my role. What? This website is definitely a scam, don't believe them and don't give them your money, it is not that simple to become an actor.

ExploreTalent Don't waste your time

I joined this website, because I always dreamed to become a movie star and I thought this site will give an opportunity to become one. I searched throught the site and foud an interesting job, so I tried to apply for some awesome roles. But they said I had to pay $500 to submit the application or I need to buy a vip membership. I am sorry but I work for a minimum sallary job and cant pay that. I joined this site because I wanted to find a better job! I really hate when someone tries to get money from people who are trying to make their dreams come true. If your rich then go for it, but if your someone like me don’t waste your time. If someone really wanted to help you and wanted you for the role things would be different. ExploreTalent wants only your money!

ExploreTalent Scam Waste of Time

im against exploretalent. There was a child predator on their and young girls were falling victim to him and i called and told them and they said we do not interfere with are talents. Later i was bullied by a fifty something woman and she reported me and i woke up to see my page and hard work gone. Waste of time. I was trying to be a good person and in this business theirs anough bullying and hate to go around that you have to put up with, without it being where im trying to get help. Quite honestly the traditional meet an agent in person is the only 100% way to get better life long results. Explore talent operates on time for money. If you think about it look honestly at the talent on there you can tell that anyone can be on their, meaning anyone and everyone will be given " casting oppurtunities", not because they have an actual chance but to keep you on there website. They had nothing against me to take down a 15 year olds profile because a fifty year old woman became intimidated by a younger girl because how quick i recieved votes in there little contests and stuff, and oppurtunities. Total crap i could have been spending my time hanging out with friends like people my age should but no i wanted to better my career but thankyou explore talent for all the awesome things you have to offer, whatever. Ok someone not right for a part and not talented can be "submitted" to a transformer audition, Now lets think dont you think that for such big auditions they already have in mind people already famous for the parts. Big movies get big actors, to make Big money because when you see you favorite actor in a movie you want to see it. Explore talent is glorified craigslist. At least craiglist knows theirs few morals but exploretalent likes to put out that their the most respected online talent site. RESPECTED SCAM.. Also if paying a company for your talent is seen as the number one sign of a Scam what makes you think that sign is different online... i apoligise for spelling and grammatical errors my keyboard isnt working correctly sorry. I do understand i should have looked into them better and ive payed my consequences and learned a valuable lesson.

ExploreTalent This website is a scam and complete bs

This site emailed me crap about castings that were a million miles away and I never got anything because I could never make auditions. Then when I wanted to cancel the day I got the recurring charge, they wouldn't give me my money back for the service I DID NOT INCUR. This website is a scam and complete bs. With that being said, I encourage everyone who has had a bad experience with them, to respond with your own terrible story of this so I can gather a portfolio, thank you.
