Parking fee paid via Expedia was not honored by the hotel
When making my reservation on Expedia, it had an option to pay my parking fee along with my hotel booking. Only after checkout that I found out the parking fee that I paid via Expedia was not honored by the hotel. Based on Expedia customer service, the parking fee that I paid via Expedia is for parking/self-parking only, while the hotel is charging me for valet parking. The issue is that the hotel only has a valet parking option as shown on the Expedia webpage for the hotel. The rep cannot seems to explain the parking fee that Expedia is charging at this point, and can only refer me to wait for another team to get back to me within 72 hours. The situation seems to be that there is a misaligning between Expedia with the hotel regards to what that parking fee is for. Instead of having Expedia sort them out with the hotel, Expedia customer service rep is attempting to blame me for not using the service correctly. I hope the follow up team will resolve this issue.
Desired outcome: Refund my parking fee paid to Expedia.
Hotel booked on wrong date
My sister booked a hotel room for me by the Atlanta airport on 4/7/22 at 11:30 pm EST.10:30 pm CST at the Holiday Inn Express - the hotel was sold out and she should have been given an alert that it was sold out but instead the reservation was changed to the 8th. Additionally, the night manager said that she would approve a refund on the room but could not issue the refund because it was issued through a third party. I plan on lodging a complaint with Holiday Inn Express as well. Additionally, my sister added cancellation insurance and yet we still could not get a refund. I already had my flight canceled, walked through the Atlanta airport because the trains were off, and took an Uber to the hotel at 2 am in the morning just to find out that I did not have the reservation. Unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed in Delta, Expedia, and Holiday Inn Express.

I spoke with the corporate customer service for that Holiday Inn Express - they are going to approve a refund but it is up to Expedia to contact the hotel GM to confirm. Quality towing
I am disgusted with this tow company. They cancelled my request not once but three times. and got the wrong tow truck dispatched then the woman that answered the phone cancelled my order and has refused to come back on the phone to see to my needs. While I need to get my wife to work and have been waiting since 6am (It's now 9:30am) for this tow company to pick up my wife's car. The lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and as I write this review she refuses to answer this call back. I am insured by State Farm and I hope they review this type of customer service that is a reflection on them, (State Farm). I pray that Quality Towing will never pick up another car of mine if I have to deal with this type of unprofessionalism. If someone wants to use them Please call me at [protected] and I will strongly discourage you from using this company. I pray that State Farm cancels its contract with them because if State Farm has to use them I will definitely find another insurance company. This is totally unacceptable. When we called to speak to a manager a dispatcher named "BECKY" (which I doubt is her name) wouldn't give us information to speak to a manager. This is the company you DO NOT want to call when you have car problems. This is the best customer service they can give? I doubt that and am reporting this conduct to "The Department of Consumer Affairs". Everybody has somebody to answer to and I've left my number for someone to reach out to me.
Waiting for 5 hours for name correction and still not able to do it
I have a booking from hyd to ewr and I have mistaken spelled the name incorrectly. Called cust service befor 72 hours as suggested and after staying with them for almost 5 hours they still not able to help .. they keep giving me excuse that they are not able to connect to correction department. I need to just remove one alphabet which I added mistakenly .. worst service ever ..

Sands Resort Pompano Beach Hotel March 28-April 2
Schedule a week vacation at Pompano Beach hotel The facility is horrible Dirty not updated lack of enmities Was given brown box breakfast which included small cup of fruit snapper cup of yogurt which most of times was frozen and muffin wrapped in plastic. seriously! This is a vacation spot they serve this low low budget breakfast unacceptable! The room was old head board was peeling mattress was old old not good experience to say the least I The room key worked for day or so I would have to go downstairs after I went to attempt I went upstairs I was locked out of my room this happened Several Times talk about inconvenience! The 1st nite of check in after long flight went up to my room with my luggage only to find out KEY was not activated With all my luggage has to return to front desk to get another Key This is not acceptable! I am very very Disappointed in Pompano beach hotel! You also had to schedule room cleaning for the next day! I am on vacation That should be automatic.! never ever did I have to schedule room cleaning at other facilities! The box Breakfast I can see during covid! but that has passed what a Disappointment to say the least Not a pleasant experience for vacation! I would greatly appreciate some type of Compensation for such an unpleasant experience!

Customer service and website
On 19th March 2022 I submitted the email below to [protected]@support.expedia.co.uk, I have not received a response or even an acknowledgement. The email is self explanatory.
I logged in to my Expedia account yesterday using my laptop fully intending to make an hotel booking however, I was unable to find how much I had in reward points.
I contacted customer support and was very disappointed in the level of support offered. Whilst waiting for the agent to be of help to me, I logged on to my Expedia account via my mobile app where I was able to see the amount in my reward account.
When I mentioned this to the agent he suggested I deleted the cookies on my Laptop and reset the page and this would resolve the issue. I did and it didn’t. I was then told that I probably needed to update my laptop, to be honest I found this insulting, there was obviously a problem with the Expedia web page.
Not making progress I terminated my connection with customer support and attempted to make a booking via my mobile app, I could have made the booking but there was no way of applying my rewards to my booking.
The only difference between Expedia and other online travel sites is the reward points, If I can’t access and use my rewards, what is the point of Expedia?
If someone could explain how I can view and use my reward points/amount when making a booking I would be very grateful.

I have made many bookings through Expedia which, until now, has been my preferred site for booking hotels etc and I have never had any problems, until now, in viewing and applying my Expedia rewards

Flight refund- Nairobi to Entebbe - [protected]
I made an incorrect booking of a flight to Entebbe as I realised it were the wrong dates and I called to cancel the booking within the 24 hour window and the agent reassured me that I would get a refund immediately .
The booking was done on
28th March 2022 at 11:41am and I received a confirmation booking.
I called in the afternoon and I asked to cancel the booking and claim for a refund.
This has not happened and nothing has been reflected on my account.
I consider this thievery.

After I booked my "package" to Dominican Republic to take vacations with my family in the scam site called EXPEDIA...I then received the confirmation email with a totally different returning flight.
I booked carefully and read everything because I know how this sites and the Technocratic Beast is taking humanity to.
It was a NON-STOP roundtrip what I picked and what I paid for. Then on the confirmation email they change my returning flight and then after trying for hours to get a customer service which its crap too, they said I bought a "RESTRICTIVE FARE" so they cannot help me with that. They assured I bought a "RESTRICTIVE FARE".
So after picking a package, picking a non stop roundtrip, paying they invent crap and you cannot proof you did not buy what you are sure you bought!
Then they send me to contact the insurance company and directly American Airlines, which it is another scam!
There is no CUSTOMER SERVICE ANSWERING ANY PHONES!
THEY ARE CHANGING HUMANS FOR MACHINES THAT NEVER ANSWER AND HUNG UP ON YOU!

Expedia has given me 13 coupons, the key word given me, then they locked my account I can't use it because I'm a coupon abuser seven of the coupons were for cancellations they were not used, I have 47,000 points I can't use I have 97,000 points pending probably more than that my account's been froze for 18 days I can't see anything. They're refusing to give me anything

I purchased a rental car package on Feb 7, 2022 due to my mother passing away on the same day of 2/7/22 I had to cancel my reservation. Expedia stated that Sixt car rental would have to agree to the refund but only after providing proof of my mother’s death. I sent SIXT on 2/18 the documentation requested and have attached the email from SIXT car rental stating they have granted a full refund. I have called Expedia numerous times requesting them to refund my 1500.00. I have continued to call numerous times but continue to get pushed around, promised a refund, told I need to contact sixt, ect. I am exhausted in trying to recover my $1500.00. I also think Expedia at this point should be paying me for my time as it has been an incredible amount of time being placed on hold, or trying to get agent contact with Expedia, and numerous emails. It has almost 2 months of this and still no refund. I have also filed a complaint with them and was given this reference number of [protected].

This has been resolved. Expedia was never a party to the reservation. My daughter made it through Priceline and she cancelled the reservation.
Missed Flights booked through Expedia Travel due to change not communicated!
in a recent trip to Mexico with my entire family (8 people) booked through Expedia, one of the segments—Guadalajara to Mexico City— the airline ( VIVA AEROBUS) made changes to the flight (flight 1063 on March 21-2022) and we were never communicated. We tried to check in in advance at the counter but we were not allowed. When we were finally allowed to check in for the flight we were told that flight had already taken off! The airline did Nothing to accommodate us at a later flight unless we paid new plane tickets which were for over 3,500$$$! I paid for the original flights around $370.00 for a total of 8 tickets. we were outraged by the lack of responsibility this airline showed to us. We were not helped and/or given ANY OPTIONS. We ended up paying $3,152.00 to another airline for this trip segment. Now, neither Expedia nor Viva Aerobus want to assume responsibility and compensate fir this unexpected and outrageous expense! HELP PLEASE!

We are “Castle Beach aparthotel” in Miami Beach,
we signed up and started working with Expedia about 4-5 months ago.
We took on hundreds of reservations, both “Hotel Collect” and channel collect reservations,
We collected the hotel collect reservations payments. But the vast majority of reservations were Channel Collect. We did not get paid for any of them. In excess of 100 thousand dollars, this put our property in major hardships and resort to trying to get very high interest loans, which we would not have needed if we were paid as corresponded to us Timely, snd do far not been paid at All and never from expedia.
This really makes it difficult for us to keep the advertising with Expedia open. As we keep digging ourselves a deeper hole, we called over 40 times from assistant, manager, snd myself the owner many many times. Cases are opened with the support phone numbers and we get promised someone will get back to us in 24-36 hours and nobody ever did.
This beyond frustration, puts a business we put our life into building at major risk.
We’re desperately in need of our payouts of the complete amount Expedia owes us until today.
Desired outcome: We need expedia to pay us, and reimburse us all commissions for the unpaid amounts as this caused us many added expenses, stress, and added work and resources.
Cancel a booking
I cancelled my booking 3hours after I booked a ticket to Paris, and I click the cancel button on Expedia website and it's not working. Then I called expedia to help me cancel the flight, and after checking they told me they do not have access and suggested me to call French bee directly. However, I tried to call French bee yesterday and today, only found that the contact center is closed. And today, the French bee told me that I have booked the tickets on a third party website, they can not help me cancel it. I was wondering then how to cancel the ticket?
Flights being cancelled without any notification
Good morning,
I was due to return to Madison, WI from Belize City on March 26th. I had booked round trip flights through Expedia. I went to check on my flights the day before I was set to depart to find that my reservation no longer existed. I contacted Expedia, and they notified me my flights were cancelled. This was never ever communicated to me by Expedia or the airline. I always book trips with Expedia which can be verified by my extensive travel history with Expedia. I have never not been communicated by Expedia until now. I was absolutely terrified of being trapped in a different country. The agent I spoke to seemed oblivious as to how to help so I had to contact the airline on my own. The airline ended up getting me on flights, however, I was forced to stay over night in Dallas so got home a day later. I am seeking some sort of compensation or travel voucher for what I sent through. The lack of communication almost left me stranded in a foreign country. I also had to spend $174 on a hotel in Dallas until I got get home on my final flight. I am very disappointed in Expedia for this whether fault of the airline or not. I have trusted Expedia for many years with my travel plans, and have more trips upcoming but now am frightened to trust Expedia with communicating properly.
Desired outcome: Please refund return flights, compensate for hotel stay or provide travel voucher for future travel.
AA Flight credit
We purchased the vacation to Hawaii in 2020 via Expedia. As pandemic started and our IL governor ordered "Stay At Home" we canceled our flight with AA and United and hotel stay. Now, we have almost $2500 with AA and $2500 with United. Now, both credits disappeared from Expedia website. AA conveniently sends us to resolve the issue with Expedia. Expedia conveniently sends us to AA.
Desired outcome: Prolong our AA and United credit till December 31, 2022. We will use it by that time.
I'm going thru a similar situation with AA and Expedia.
Today I got an email from Expedia telling me they've extended the booking and usage dates and to contact AA directly.
AA has advised that I have to go back to Expedia. No one is available by phone and emails are never answered.

Car rental
When I was in Canada with a friend, we decided to rent a car for our trip to Niagara Falls. We leased the car through the Expedia website, using economy car rentals, and planned to use it from March 20, 2022, to March 21, 2022. The pick-up time at Mississauga Canada was 10.30 a.m. on March 20th (YYZ airpot). We followed the pick-up instructions and called the number provided to let them know we were at the airport so they could send a complimentary shuttle and drop us off at the automobile rental location. When we called the number, however, they would either hang up or inform us that they would bring us a free shuttle in terminal 3 in 25-30 minutes and that we should stand on number 15. We waited for more than an hour, contacting them every minute to inquire as to why the airport shuttle had not yet arrived. They had already charged my credit card for a car that I did not use. We attempted to contact them again, but they responded and hung up after 0.001 seconds. I was tired of freezing and waiting in the cold with my friend, so we gave up and returned to the hotel. We recently rented with Expedia...a pickup truck for our Denver 5 day vacation. The rate was competitive and the plans were made weeks in advance. We arrived at the car rental (NU in Denver) but did not have a good experience with the salesman or the vehicle. The man "helping" us to get our vehicle was arrogant and pushy. He criticized our prepaid insurance and used scare tactics to inform us that the insurance we bought would not cover anything if we were in an accident & the car was out of commission. This company also charged us an additional daily fee for tolls which we had no idea if we would be using or not. The worse part... no truck available and no apology for not having the vehicle we reserved. I believe this company AND Expedia should be responsible for some accountability to their customers. NU has horrible service and no one seems to care. Expedia? Do you realize this kind of poor service effects your name as well? I will think twice before using Expedia again if there is no "go to" helper in this kind of situation. What a scam.

Airline Reservations and Using an American Airlines Credit
March 22, 2022 between 7:00 PM EDT and 11:00 PM EDT
Contacted Expedia and arranged for a call back. The call back came but was again put on hold for at least 6 times with no help or disconnect. I wanted to cancel and rebook a flight so I can use my American Airlines credit that expires March 31, 2022. They told me it could be done. I tried to book using the credit on my Expedia phone app and on my computer. Messages popped up and said there is a problem on their end and to try again. Tried at least 6 times. I booked the flight with my credit card so I could get a seat on the flights. Expedia told me they would cancel and rebook for me so I could use the $534.91 credit from American Airlines. After more than 4-hours, they never got back to me and it was never done. Do they even care? If I lose the credit, I will expect them to issue me another credit at their expense. I do not believe I have ever experienced this bad of customer service in my 65-years on this planet.
Desired outcome: I want to use the credit towards my flight before I lose it. It is not my fault their app and website are not functioning correctly.

Regarding my Expedia itinerary [protected] (aircanada confirmation 2G4F32) trying only to book my newborn infant on our return flights YVR-JED on 24 Mar 2022. After spending almost EIGHT hours on 19 Mar 2022 between FIVE online customer service agents (Raneem, Bassant, Farah, Haitham) and by phone talking to different agents and a supervisor (Sidi, called me from no. [protected]) and all contradictory suggestions with one claiming Expedia has to coordinate by itself to aircanada to issue my infant the ticket and another claiming (by supervisor Sidi) that it’s me who should contact aircanada to do so after she filled a note under (SSR/OSI) indicating such it turned out all that was total wasteful false claims as FOUR aircanada agents on phone including TWO supervisors have indicated IT IS EXPEDIA’s RESPONSIBILITY to issue the ticket on my behalf being my travel agent and they CANNOT issue the ticket by me calling them by myself! Those Expedia so-called ‘customer service’ agents were extremely ignorant of the matter in hand and misdirecting client to wrong frustrating way of such simple request out of feud between airline and travel agent that me as client has NOTHING to do with except being victim of time-waste and frustrations! Those agents and supervisor shall be held accountable by Expedia for their bad judgement and inappropriate handling of this matter and I demand IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE in issuing my infant a ticket BY EXPEDIA to resolve this matter ITSELF with aircanada as aircanada has confirmed they will NOT issue the ticket directly to myself contacting them! How could client bring back their newborn baby borne during trip booked on Expedia if Expedia can’t and won’t make that booking for them? And how can a client even book a newborn one way inbound ticket BEFORE birth even took place claiming that if not booked during initial full trip booking it can’t be booked after because the trip has been already “partially used”! I mean how more ignorant and inconsiderate those agents can get in such matter unable to resolve it even after EIGHT HOURS FIVE PEOPLE FIVE CALLS! PLEASE book my infant ticket and call me ASAP as my trip is coming very soon on 24 Mar 2021.
