In February I booked for a one night stay at the Hyatt in GA for April 17th - 18th. I received a confirmation, [protected] (Travelocity) and [protected] (Expedia) and was informed the amount would be $111.25. On March 19th my card was charged $277.13 by the Hyatt hotel. I contacted the Hyatt hotel to figure out what was going on and was informed I was charged a 3 night stay, March 19 - March 22nd, even though I was not present "for a no show fee." They provided me a confirmation, [protected]. Two Hyatt hotel staff reported this stay was confirmed by Expedia and would need to be addressed by them. They also informed me that I was not booked for a one night stay for April 17th.
I attempted to address this through the app but received no response, I attempted to call them twice and had been placed on hold both times for over an hour. I was finally able to cancel the pending hotel stay through the app but have not been able to resolve the charges for a stay that never existed.

I am a travel agent and I purchased tickets for a Client to Walt Disney World for April 2021. (Itenerary # 72073962499261)
I purchase 5 adult 3 day base tickets and 1 child 3 day base ticket. When payment was confirmed they sent the wrong tickets type on the itenerary. They sent 5 adult and 1 child 2 day park hopper with plus option tickets. Not what I purchase for my clients. I immediately called when this happened. The person I talked to said he tried to contact Disney but they were closed and I was told I would have to call Disney to change them. I called Disney the next moring on 3/18. Disney had no record of this purchase. I called Expedia back and they refuse to change to what I purchased and told me that they would have to contact Disney to see if they could refund my client so that they could purchase the correct original tickets. I would receive an email with 12-24 hours with the resolution. No email. I called back and Expedia said Disney denied my request and then gave me a Voucher number that does not exist with Disney. I have been on the phone for hours with both Expeida (6+calls with Expeida and 2 calls to Disney and have no resolution. My clients are out over $2298.72 and a vacation without the activity they want. Disney is at no fault in this matter. This is all on Expedia. All they tell me is that they will have their Global Excalation Dept look into it and trace the booking. At this point I do not trust them. The Voucher number for the tickets with Disney not on file with Disney's system (I have called Disney to comfirm with the number they gave me and when it didn't show up with Disney I called Expedia back and they gave me the same number. I do not feel comfortable with this company handleing this issue at the point.

I tried to request a full refund on my flight booked with American Airlines (Confirmation : UVCSWE). I specifically paid extra in case I needed to cancel my flight. I canceled my flight after talking to an agent (Rose) who knew no idea what she was doing and spent 2 hours wasting my time. She lied and I was unable to book my flight immediately after cancelation. The flight that I needed increased in price and the used credit is still unavailable. She then told me to contact American Airlines whom told me to contact Expedia. This has been an incredible waste of time and money. I hope a refund along with additional funds for my inability to book a flight on time is given to me in monetary value, not credit. Because this company clearly has the inability to do that.

My wife traveled from Nashville tn to Williamsport pa and the second half of the flight was canceled and rescheduled for a day later. To be able to make it to her family house on time she had to rent a car and your insurance company said they refuse to reimburse for the car rental. Before I go on every media platform I can find and every review site I can find to tell everyone about how bad the service was and how ridiculously cheap you guys are about refunds I figured I would give your company a chance to make the refund for the car rental yourself since the insurance company refused to even try.

I booked a room through expedia with a check in time of 1pm I arrived earlier and was told the room would be ready after 5pm and expedia should have told me. This was awful so I cancelled. We are in texas dealing with pandemic and now snow storm weather conditions and need of shelter is imperative right now and to have to wait five more hours after check in is awful and this wait was due to the room not being cleaned until that time.

In october 2019 i booked flights through expedia on tap for a trip to europe that was cancelled due to covid. On may 14, 2020 i received an e mail from expedia confirming the cancellation of my flights and stating "we've issued you an airline credit that you can use later for a new flight with tap portugal." on february 16, 2021 i printed out my coupons and credits from expedia that total $4, 948.36 from tap only, not including the british airways credit.

I tried to use these credits for tap flights this september, well within the book by and use by dates. Expedia advised me that i could not sue these credits due to itinerary and change fess required by tap of $390 per ticket. Tap has cancelled my tickets and reservations, so there is no change of any existing bookings.

I want to use my credits for the same passengers, frederick brodsky and darla chick brodsky for: september 22, 2021 tap 224 and tap 1356 executive class and return on october 16, 2021 on tap 223 executive class. If i cannot use my credits of $4, 948.36 without change fees, i will file suit under dtpa against expedia. I have spent more than 4 days waiting on the telephone between expedia and tap to get to this impass.

When I booked a 2 week vacation at Iberostar Paraiso Beach. Riviera Maya, I was on the Iberostar Website. January 9th - January 23, 2021. I booked a vacation package that included the flight also. I paid for the 2 week vacation/flight and received a confirmation and receipt from Iberostar. Never was there a mention of Expedia!
When we arrived at the Iberostar Resort, Riviera Maya, we were not taken to the Paraiso Del Mar Hotel where we booked a Jr. Suite Ocean View. No, we were taken to Iberostar Paraiso Maya where we were told we were given an upgrade. No one there ever contacted us, nor did Expedia ever contact us to tell us that the Hotel we had booked at was not even OPEN! Instead we were continuously told we were upgraded. But never a word to us before we left the United States!
Somehow I feel we were taken advantage of, made a purchase under False Advertising, and because we paid for an Ocean View Room which is exactly what we wanted, we did not look at our Maya experience as any kind of upgrade. It is NOT what we purchased and not an upgrade in our eyes.
An Ocean View room is an Ocean View room! Del Mar is Del Mar, and that is where we wanted to be. We were never given exactly what we paid for.
The fact that we were not notified of this is very disturbing! When I sent a letter to Iberostar regarding all of this they replied that I had to talk to Expedia because Expedia handled our reservation.
Please explain this to me, as I have never had a problem with Expedia before, but I also knew I was dealing directly with Expedia before. Why was your name not on the Iberostar website, or on any paperwork ie: confirmation papers, etc?

In February 2020 I booked a hotel in spain with hotels.com for one night 05.07.20 paying hotels.com £52.47.
Hotels.com reservation confirmation [protected] - Travelodge Valencia Aeropuerto.
This hotel proved to be unavailable as they refused any travellers from the UK.
Despite repeated requests, hotels.com have refused a refund.
Please resolve this.

Last year in Jan. I scheduled a trip for 3 people from Seattle to Houston through Expedia. I had to cancel this trip in March due to COVID. Because the trip used Alaska and Delta flights which have different policies trying to 'possibly' reschedule this year was a problem as Alaska at the time I contacted Expedia required we reschedule by 2/28 and travel by 4/5 which still seems a bit early with COVID's worst month of covid deaths just last month. I spent at least 4 hours on the phone in 4 different phone calls I made trying to get accurate information about this trip to either reschedule or request a refund. Two times I requested a 'supervisor' be involved as those who first answered were stumped and kept me on hold for long periods of time. Each time those supervisors assured me they would find out what could happen and would call me back within 2 days. Someone who identified himself as Arthur was first and 10 days later Vince William (supposedly a true name) made the same offer. Both confirmed my phone number and email and confirmed they would indeed be calling me back. To date I have heard nothing from either. Yesterday on my own I spoke with Alaska and Delta to get satisfaction. Both company representatives were cordial, polite and did exactly what they promised to do. I asked both Arthur and Vince at different times why would I work through Expedia if they were not helpful when a problem arises. I have my answer - I will no longer work through Expedia because they do not care about customers, lie when it suites them and are not a quality company. I may not be a large dollar customer, but I am one with many friends who will continue to hear about this. 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone - you no more than others. How you deal with challenges speaks volumes of your company character. Yours is shameful.

We booked a flight with SAS from Denmark to Finland for travel in May 2020. SAS cancelled the flight in March and we requested a refund from them and Expedia. SAS has no operations in Canada so you cannot access their website or phone from Canada. Expedia has been contacted several times and each time they treat it like a new inquiry but do nothing that would cause the loss of their commissions. We are seniors who will never be able to take the flight we paid for. All other companies we dealt with, except Air Canada of course, provided quick refunds. SAS would as well as they are required to refund under European rules but they won't deal with us directly and Expedia will not pursue the refund. We will never deal with Expedia again. Normally you deal with them strictly for convenience since they do not represent the best prices, but convenience was trumped when they failed to fulfill their obligations as our travel agent.

I book hotel LE mar cape may and when I check in the toilet bowl is lose and you can't sit I call the maintenance they was working on the problem till 8 pm and told me don't use it for 2 hours until the cement dry and the desk chair is old and not stable when you sit down and the floor was dirty and they came to vacuum and the smell of the carpet and I call Expedia to address the problem after when I get back to the room the problem still the same and they don't have other room and they can't fixed and after when I get the receipt from the hotel was $200 less than what EXPEDIA charge me that is fraud and they can't do anything and I dispute with BARCLAY taking 3 months and after they said they can't do anything that why Expedia and BARCLAY only charged me and they can't fixed the problem with the hotel

I booked flight to Poland through Expedia. The flight had been cancelled on July 7, 2020. I have not received refund yet. I was supposed to receive a refund within 12 weeks of the cancellation. It has been 26 and no refund of $1082.42. I have been calling Expedia every month and received same answer that the Lot airline delayed credits. I called Expedia on Dec 23 and the agent told me that I should receive refund at the end of the month. Since I have not received it, I called Expedia again on January 8 twice and agent Mike told me that I ‘am supposed to call Lot myself asking them for the refund. I did reach out to Lot and agent Sonia texted me (I attached the copy of the conversation) refunds of tickets purchased via agency are processed by the agency. I have also attached my ticket and the picture of the conversation with Expedia who can't find my bookings now.

Dear Expedia Team,

On the 7th of January, 2020 I decided to cancel my trip to Europe, I cancelled my trip 48 hours before the flight "I added an insurance to my ticket" and was assured that I will receive the full amount if I decided to cancel.

When I contacted the customer service team I was promised to receive the full amount $1, 686 within 8 weeks

Expedia has had the refund from the airline for my ticket since September 18, 2020 and still will not refund it to me. The airline has provided me with proof that you have the refund. I checked with my financial institution that I used to pay for the airline ticket and still have not received any refund from Expedia.

I have also filed a complaint with the Department of Transportation about this issue.

We had called ahead to inquire ahead of availability and were told a rate of $118. Upon arrival the man I spoke to went off duty and the mad on duty did not know of a rate of $118. I asked if they would honor the online rate and he said I would have to make the reservation online. I made the reservation online and when I came in he had said he figured out the $118 rate. I said we would book at $118 and he said he would get the expedia reservation cancelled. However the room reservation was made in my friends name and both paid by her credit card. In the morning the gal said the online reservation was cancelled and taken care of. When my friend receieved her credit card bill she was billed by expedia and the hotel. We have been going around and around with expedia and Kelly Inn to get the $126 rate refunded. They are stating it was a no show due to the miss understanding of the reservations being under two different names but paid by the same credit card. We were traveling with our friend to visit another friend out in Gillette, WY. She was paying the hotel costs and we were paying the gas costs and settling up in the end.

NEVER EVER use Expedia to book a trip. My reservation was at the Iberostar Tucan . BUT I arrived to find the hotel was closed. I was never told they moved my reservation to Iberostar in Cancun and hour drive away. When I called Expedia that the hotel was closed they were no help at ALL. They just kept telling me that was where my reservation was even though it was closed. When I got back, I called Expedia they said I should had called the hotel myself to confirm it was open. REALLY! Like I said SHOCKED how awful customer service was

We booked two round trip american airlines tickets, from hong kong to santiago, chili, through expedia. While we reached london on 10 february 2020, about to transit to santiago, we were notified that we could not board the cruise in santiago because of the virus outbreak. We had to return back to hong kong. We called aa in the airport, and were informed that we could cancel the rest of our flight, including the return tickets on 1 march 2020. Aa emailed us and confirmed that a refund had been processed to our travel agency, that is expedia. I have been calling expedia for refund since 18 february 2020. I was told that our tickets are non-refundable. But when I insisted that aa has confirmed that there is a refund, I was told that they would look into the case and I should wait patiently. Recently, in may, I was told that they would treat my case as urgent and they would deal with it quickly. But, I when I called today (june 20), I was told the same answer — wait as someone is dealing with my case...
What should I do? Should big corporations, like expedia, be more responsible and honest, instead of ripping off the refund of their customers!
