I wish I could give them zero stars! I rented a car in Fort Lauderdale Airport through Expedia for 8/18/23. We were arriving via ferry from the Bahamas. A representative called to ask what time we would arrive for pickup. He said they were closing at 10. Although we thought that was early for a Friday car pickup we agreed to be there by that time. I called the person back and received no answer which I should’ve taken as a sign of bad things to come. No one answeeectheir general number either. We took a cab from Port Everglades to the airport and arrived at 9:40pm and the counter was closed! To add insult to injury, we were not able to get the amount that was paid to Expedia! Never again. No other car rental company was closed at the airport at that hour! Thank goodness we were able to get a car from Budget. This company has questionable practices and Expedia aids them in ripping the public off by promoting the company on its website. Never again!

Priceless Car Rental is a classic, fast talking, bait and switch scam. They lure you in with a really good price and have you sign a contract with print so small it’s virtually unreadable-talking 90mph hour the whole time. The price quoted was a $100 a week. The price ended up a $100 a day. Insurance fees supposedly. When the car was returned, they claimed we were responsible for several scratches to the tune of $600. Luckily, I took pictures while the rental guy was doing the same. He didn’t seem happy about that. The moral here is if the deal is “too good to be true”, it probably is. Don’t do business with Priceless Car Rental in Otepeni.

I hired a car from TeamNet via a booking agent (Expedia). The Expedia booking confirmed that all mandatory fees were included but when I collected the vehicle this company informed me that I need to purchase additional insurance cover from them, which I rejected because the fee for this cover was exorbitant. The representative at the rental desk informed me that in this case he would collect a deposit of 3,746 RON in lieu of the insurance and this would be refunded when I returned the vehicle, with any damage to the vehicle being deducted from the deposit. Upon returning the vehicle on 27th Aug, I was not given the deposit, but I was assured by the representative that the deposit would be refunded on Monday 29th Aug after their admin had processed closing the rental contract. I was also charged a further 1500 RON as a fee for a minor scratch caused by a 3rd party to the door in a parking lot. On Tuesday I contacted the rental firm to follow-up on my deposit and I was informed that the deposit wasn't a deposit, it was an extremely exorbitant fee for this insurance, which Expedia had already stated wasn't mandatory. I informed the company that their agent had clearly stated the funds would be returned and gave me absolute assurance of the same on my returning the vehicle. I asked them to provide a copy of the insurance contract they had allegedly sold me and any document they have, showing that I had signed up for this policy and they stopped responding and blocked my number of their WhatsApp. After checking out this company on Google, I discovered they have done the same to many other people.

They effectively stole my money by lying and misrepresenting the facts and they probably thought I was an easy target because I was travelling with 2 infants after a long flight and was not in any position to question them and on returning the guy at the desk gave me his absolute assurance that this was their normal process and the deposit would be refunded on the next business day. I trusted these crooks and they scammed me.

I should also state that Expedia have also cancelled this company's agency due to this because there were complaints about this from many customers.

I booked the rental through Expedia and paid a portion to secure low price. It was nonsense, a bait and switch. The staff is incredibly rude and their additions to pricing unbelievable. They won't take your insurance, theirs costs $24.99 a day and is required. They also charge $14.99 a day for a Sunpass because they say you can't use your personal one. They are scammers and should be shut down. Very dishonest company. What should have been a $200 rental, turned into a $500 rental.

We booked a car rental through Expedia for 8 days for approx. $200. When we got to Bucharest to pick up the car, we were told that we need extra insurance for about 80 euros a day. The contract provided for car rental was written in small letters, gray font and very difficult to read specially after 30+ hours trip. My fault was to not read carefully the contract and go over the charges in detail. When I got home and checked the papers and the credit card charges, I realized that they have an extra charge in there without any description for it as well as a charge for VAT. I thought the daily rate is inclusive of sales tax/VAT. They are SCAMMERS! I wish I would have read the reviews prior to booking but I thought Expedia is a good site and thought I am sort of protected booking through them. Big mistake! One other thing it is not fair is that the charge is nonrefundable even though when you get to the office they charge an outrageous amount of money for "insurance" and deposit.

Beware of their tactics and they were kicked out from Booking.com now only active on Expedia and Priceline

Last November and December 2020 I returned two cars and never received my deposits back ($3200). 8/9 months later, they are not returning my calls and emails.
They also invented a minor scratch on the front bumper, which was not there and they made me pay for it. However, the insurance took care of it. That was also over $1000. They overcharged and lied to me that I will receive my money back within 2 weeks.
I need my two deposits back ASAP!

I drove with my 2 friends to the beach and was pulled over by LAPD and was told the priceles issued me a car with expired tags the police officer had informed Al Alex who is supposedly the manager of the establishment that the cars tags was indeed out date following informing me and Mr.Alex of days and times and the amount you paid for tags and where. I told Mr. Alex we need a full refund for our inconvenience and mental disturbance he has not issued a refund or called me on the matter. This is a poor display of customer service

I rented a vehicle in Romulus, Michigan on August 18, 2018 for 7 days from Executive/Priceless Car Rental and the RA # is EXEDTW-28876. They posted a $250 deposit on the same day. It was suppose to be credited to our credit card within 7 days after returning the rental vehicle. I called on August 31, 2018 and spoke to Ava and she said the credit would be posted by Sept. 3, 2018. No credit posted. I called again on September 6, 2018 and spoke with Amelia and she felt that because of the Labor Day Holiday the credit was delayed but should be posted shortly. No credit posted. I called again on September 10, 2018 and requested to speak to a manager. Colleen informed me that a manager was not available. Colleen would take my telephone number and have the manager call me within 24 hours. I doubt if I will receive a call in looking at other complaints made by other individuals about this company. I also called on 09/10/2018 the Executive Car Rental corporate office to complain and spoke with Stella. Stella was trying to call the Romulus office and put me on hold. We somehow got disconnected and she never tried to call me back. However, she did give me an email address to file a complaint with their customer service department. I doubt I will ever hear from them either. I believe this company does this as a standard practice and is committing fraud. I also called Expedia and spoke with Jessica because I had originally booked the car rental through them. Jessica called Executive/Priceless Car Rental directly and was told the same thing I was that no manager was available. Jessica told me to call her back if I did not receive a call within 24 hours from the manager. I truly hope that no else gets taken in by these deceptive practices because they do offer a low rental price but it ends up costing a whole lot more.
