Simple: this guy has never done a loan in his life until he got a mortgage originator license two years ago.
He had to form this company because if he tried to put their together a loan without a) a license an b) an LLC then he would have been in serious trouble. We found this out awhile back. You see Pat Patton is nothing more than a teacher who up until 2011 never did anything with the mortgage origination industry in Texas. He got his license and Champions Real Estate School hired him to teach the mortgage origination courses. No experience what so ever. Also, a colleague of ours went to Pat Patton for a loan through Europa Financing, LLC. Pat Patton told this man that he would get a loan within no time. Our colleague waited 2 weeks and never heard anything of Pat. He called and Pat Patton told him that Europa Financing LLC had grown by leaps and bounds and thus our colleague's request was put aside. Now that is pathetic. Pat Patton told him that he would quickly process the paperwork. As you can guess, another two weeks went by and no return calls or emails from Pat Patton about the status of the loan. After trying to reach Pat again, our colleague decided to seek funding elsewhere. Pat Patton never ever returned our colleagues phone calls for funding. That was 14 months ago. Furious, we decided to do some digging on Pat Patton. We found out the above mentioned information. Also, we found out that Pat Patton's real name is William Thomas Patton and that he put Champions School of Real Estate at risk over some incident with a student. We don't know the details at this time. However, we are looking into this. Please watch out for this man. He has another company called Unlimited LLC with the same address which is in some neighborhood.

Hey Slamdaddy,
Get facts straight right! I met William Patrick Patton at Champions when I got my license cont'd ed update. He goes by "Pat" which goes back to a family nickname, he told me. He is a realtor, and certified teacher, an RMLO, and state registered insurance provider. Look him on on any of the public record Federal registry (NMLS RMLO search and you will see this nickname posted for all to see). This company was not formed to do consumer loans, originally, but rather compliance for seller financiers. Most people dont even know this niche exists. Pat is the marketing arm of a mortgage origination company and it has expanded to do consumer loans. They have a partner at their firm who is the expert in mortgage lending. You didnt speak with him obviously as he has 10 years in the business as a producing originator. Pat never claimed to be a guru in production. His partner is listed right there on the website. Why didnt you reach out to him? The incident with the student at Champions was over the fact that they student broke the STATE RULES with regard to the legal requirements to be in the class. Despite the fact that the rules were broken...Pat was challenged by the establishment and the establishment sided with the student. Rather than report the orginaztion...he chose to resign. Ultd Unlimited...is his real estate brokerage. Yea You did some digging alright but he is 100% compliant and your upset about bad service, but he is not out of compliance...but what I know can be proven and I will be reporting your slander to this website as your info here is not based upon fact.
