It's quite possible that eTeacher Group is not aware of the complaints or rarely monitors their existence because we find it hard to believe they don't care about their customers. eTeacher Group Arbitrary charges and restrictions of paid course

I was signed up for Greek A Course. One for eTeachers Group later called me with a claim that I was awarded a scholarship. He claimed I can get 5 courses with an academic credit but I have to make an x amount of payment on monthly basis. Being that the sales rep was super persuasive, I went ahead and signed up for it. I later realized the sales rep lied over so many packages he claimed I will be having in the so called scholarship. I later called to cancel and to just keep my Greek A Course I already paid for. But without any notification, they forcefully and arbitrarily attempted to commit fraud on my account by charging my bank account with over $575 twice but my bank flagged it as a red flag transaction. The school later claimed that since I am cancelling the so called scholarship, they were attempting to charge me for the cancellation fee. Before now, I was never told about any cancellation fee and I never signed any document to that effect.

Today, the school went ahead and deactivate my Greek A Course I am taking up 28 Unit class already. Upon contacting their customer service, They claimed that I requested my account to be deactivated whichI never did. I am now stuck and frustrated without getting access to my paid class. This eTeacher Group needs to be called to order for the false act of advertisement they are offering to people. They give false claimes to things that are not true. They are desperate to make money even by fraudulent means.

Desired outcome: I demand that the school should reinstate my Greek A Course immediately. I only have 2 unit to complete this class. And I demand a written apology for the frustration they have made me go through.

eTeacher Group Hebraic Context of Bible

I enrolled on this (at great expense). When I needed to change the dates of course the web page did not allow this.

I therefore tried to cancel the courses, but was told I still had a lot to pay! So this organisation wants payment but does not keep its side of the bargain.

I told the service representative (salesman, money grabber) that the quality fo the courses was not good enough. His rely was that I had not attended many live. True, as these were basically reciting slides to me, I could watch the recordings. No interaction on courses whatsoever!

I was told I could reschedule the courses after I had spoken to this Mafia person. But that has not happened! The web page does not even allow me to see the dates of future courses. I have had to ask for this by the "customer service" page.

to add to the frustration I was sent an email to give customer feedback. When I followed this I was taken to a page to pay more money for more (not good) courses! I raised this with the strangely named "customer service" but had no reply.

The service is an absolute disgrace. The organisation is more concerned with getting more revenue than in giving quality service.

They do not have their own complaints email; a surprise as from what I read online many people are dissatistied.

Desired outcome: to be able to reschedule the courses I have paid and registered for.Better an immediate cancellation with no more costs to pay, so I can enrol on a real Biblical Hebew course, worthy of payement.

eTeacher Group Refund

Requested to refund my money back in June 24 and I have not yet received my refund back to my account. I request my refund within 5 days and I have not received them yet. Its been over 2 and half months still no credit back to my account. Their number is [protected] and my student ID 8433121. I have already filed with BBB.

Desired outcome: 100% full refund

eTeacher Group eTeacher Group customer service/refund policy

If you think you will cancel or are okay with being signed up for other classes without consent, DO NOT use this company. Dishonest Scam -- careful putting your card on file. They will charge it without consent and sign you up for classes and then threaten court if you ask to cancel. We were yelled at asking if we wanted to be taken to court and then after writing a review we were contacted by a manager, they said that they will stop cancellation charges and not charge the rest of the course and they apologized but offered no refund. We were scammed out of a lot of money. Student ID: 6889582

eTeacher Group thieves

I enroll in the hebrew class with them. I did ulpan 2 and ulpan 3 with no problems, I loved my teacher and I really learned a lot with this program. However, in spite of being a good customer already, they decided to give me hard time and to mess up with me. To explain you the problem, basically, They called me in july to know if I wanted to continue to ulpan 4 which I answered YES but not before december and I want to continue with Etti and no other teacher. Therefore we closed it and I bought the ulpan 4 and they told me they gonna contact me to choose the schedule.

They tried to contact me over the phone in november to book me for a class in november but they couldn't because I was in israel that month so my phone line in USA was frozen. THey say that they also emailed me but I never received any of those emails. At the end, they enroll me in a class in november without my consent which is not a class with my teacher either.

They called me in february to ask me what is going on, I didn't attend any of the classes since my ulpan started but obviously I wasn't aware of it which I stated.

After several calls and arguments with them, they dont want to put me on another ulpan 4 unless I pay again for it.

I didn't even ask to be refunded, I just want to take my classes but it seems hard. They are going around the problem, saying that they did whatever they needed to do in order to reach me but they couldn't. bul... They are just trying to get away with it like that. That s the israeli way. They dont even want to give you the name of the supervisor, not willing to do anything.

I was so pleased with those classes but honestly Im so disappointed of them and how they handle this kind of things. I could continue with them until the last ulpan which means 3 other more courses but they blew it up.

Bottom line, Stay away from them.

yes it is a hard line sales. And i is very hard for them to take no for an answer. And they have lied to me. And yes they do schedule classes with out your permission. I was promised deals then they switched. Here in the US we call it bait and switch which is there tactic. I also agree that they can be liars and thieves. Be careful.

ETeacher Group tactics have not changed thru April 2016. As a previous car salesman, they use the same unethical hard pressure and quick payment tactics. I could only take one day of being a car salesman and resigned. I should have known better than to query their pop-up internet advertisement, the rapid phone call I received, and the continued discounts that appeared with phone hesitation I made. I was fortunate to get away with a penalty of 25%!

I was called by Eteacher, but not told that was who they were. Instead the sales rep said they were through Hebrew College, which they do have classes through, but is not the one I was being spoken to about, and they are not Hebrew College. She refused to let me see the contract first because of 'time'. After signing up and receiving the email and contract I realized it was Eteacher, not Hebrew College, and immediately began the cancellation process. I followed all required procedures in the contract. On top of that, anticipating an issue, I froze my credit card and got a new one so no new charges could be made. I kept calling and no one answered in customer service and when i got ahold of tech they wanted to transfer me so I emailed to have a record and told tech support that they needed to put the message in and email. I received an email recognizing my decision to cancel. The next week they contacted me. I told them I wanted a refund. The sales rep agreed but tried to convince me to continue. I said call me in 2 weeks to discuss. From the issues I see other people had online I was concerned no would mean no refund. After receiving the refund I talked to the sales rep again and explained I'm currently not interested. Even after repeating he, different than first one, continued to push "i would lose sale price if I keep cancellation." Without my consent, instead of emailing me confirming cancellation, he emailed stating I would be following with the new contract. None of my emails stating I would not be picking up a new contract were answered or even acknowledged. When asked for a time to call I stated not before 10am and almost every day for 2 weeks they have called between 8:30 and 9am. I have since spoken once more to the rep stating to leave me alone and I had canceled and had no interest in restarting. In responce he emailed me a bill with a threat of legal action. No lawyer or legal info in the email, showing me it was merely scare tactics. The next day I was called again, I rejected it, and received an email stating they wished to discuss the course I'm enrolled in, which I am not. At this point they are harrassing me and instead of listening to the customer are following the pursue until defeat tactic, which doesn't work. I lived in Israel for a year and am not swayed, more than anyone is by a reg salesperson. Scare tactics don't work. They have lied by saying "we can see you've opened the emails" to emails I've never received, which can't be seen unless they have special technology or hack my personal email. I had not received any email stating the start of a class, which I was not supposed to be signed up for, which they tried to use to convince me to pay. Plus giving random dates for when I cancelled and not acknowledging the emails. When I brought them up he stated I needed a vocal cancelation via phone, which is NOT stated in the contract, nor any email. THEY ARE A SCAM STAY AWAY.

eTeacher Group unathorized charges

The first rep from eteathergroup told me I could learn Ashkenazi pronunciation. They only teach in Sephardi. Two different ways of speaking Hebrew. eteathergroup could only provide different teacher, not ashkenazi. Since the class had already begun, I was told, that to, cancel the class, I would be charged the full amount of tuition. Subsequently, when speaking to the last rep, I told him, I would continue with the class. Eteachergroup was authorized to charge me $100 per month. Instead, upon conclusion of my last phone call, I was charged the remaining amount. Eteachergroup was not authorized to do so.
I do not recommend doing business with eteachergroup. Experience might be different if attending the physical univ in Israel. I am still in process of attempting to resolving this matter.
The classes might be good. Why take the chance on losing you money when other options for this tpe of learning exist?

I am facing the same problem with them! HOrrible ! They have charged me twice in the same month, I have asked to cancel my inscription and they just ignored my request and charged me over and over again! I have had no class and I have spend more than half of the total amount...
I will suit them! as soon as possible.

Hi, i have the same problem with them. They charge me for to payments, threten me with legal action, just couse I want off.

First I would like to note that it's odd how you cannot really do a search on anything negative dealing with this group. I saw nothing but good reviews and it seemed like a good program.
