Esso Extra Car wash tickets only valid at station purchased, why wasn’t I told

Have 3 tickets purchased for ultra car washes in favor of 5 cent litre discount but moved from Fredericton to Moncton and should have been advised. When visited station in Moncton I was informed that tickets I possessed from Fredericton not valid at other stations because esso go stations now owned by Couche Tard . Don’t really care who owns but previous obligations and/ or practices should be realized to satisfaction of customer. Lived in Moncton before and had tickets redeemable from one station to other without this.

Loyal Esso/carwash participant in this program and expect to be reimburesd in some manner

Esso Extra Customer service

Stopped at the Elmvale Esso @ Hwy 92 and Crossland.

I tried to pay cash and convert some of my PC points for gas. The owner said to me that I was only able to convert 4000 points for fuel. I said “:what a scam “. I then gave cash for some gas and walked out.

The pump wouldn’t work and the owner ( female ) came out shrieking at me that I called her a scammer. She seemed to be bi-polar. Very loud and vexatious.

She wouldn’t give me fuel and gave me back my cash and I drove on.

One thing for certain, I will never gas up there.

Esso Extra Pumps

Pumps need to be serviced.

Pump not working

Pump have to pay inside

Pump Handel pieces broke

Asked inside why these issues are not fixed. Some of the issues have been at the least a year !

Was told because they haven't come yet 🤷‍♀️

Like really ? Another issue ... out side window washer water. It's either empty or like muddy watter. No additive is used in water.

Desired outcome: All pumps serviced to working order in a timely manner. Window washer water cleaned, filled and serviced a few times a day.An additive to help clean windows would sure help also

Esso Extra Regarding missing points

On Saturday, June 25th at 10:40 am, I purchased gas at the Esso station at 150 Dupont Street in Toronto. I purchased, using 4000 points from my Optimum account. When I got the bill for 44.89, only two dollars was taken off my account, though 4000 points were redeemed. I phoned Esso and was told to phone Optimum; I phoned Optimum and was told to phone Esso. I am writing to complain about this practice of taking 4000 points and yet only giving two dollars.

Esso Extra Esso Extra Points Conversion to PC = mission impossible

[protected] Esso Customer Service is a waste of time, you can't get hold of anyone! You can call 100 times and it will hang up on you every time, you can even try to pick other options if you want to try and be smart... it won't work.

So basically it's all a scam if you want to convert your points now, seems to be a way to get out of all the bank points folks may have.

I'd love to hear from someone at Esso to prove they do have folks that work there and make sure they're all okay.

Desired outcome: Have my Esso Extra Points converted to PC points easily without 100 more phone calls or trying to sign into the online account again and again.

Esso Extra EssoExtra point conversion to PCoptimum point on the website - always fail

I have tried many many attempts to make point conversion going through the websites of EssoExtra point, then to PCoptimum, then eventually I managed to get through [protected], the representative lady said it is all ok now, but in fact it was not, I still cannot get my EssoExtra point to be converted into my PCoptimum account. these are the account information, please do the conversion for me. My accounts of EssoExtra [protected]-1936. My PCoptimum no. [protected]

I did tried many times to PCoptimum, most of the times, they refered me to get onto their website, then the line was cut, or the line was cut while waiting.

Esso Extra Conversion of Esso Extra to PC Optimum points

After several unsuccessful attempts to convert my Esso Extra points to PC Optimum online, I finally was able to contact someone at the Imperial Oil Customer Service who suggested I go directly into an ESSO station to convert the points. I made the attempt only to be told that I have to contact the customer service line that had me go to a an Esso station in the first place. I called back and the customer service representative told me that there was nothing more they could do.

I my opinion Esso converting to PC Optimum was nothing less than a scam to rid it's self of loyal Esso Extra Members.

Petro Canada here I come!

Desired outcome: Convert the points as your company stated it would!!

Esso Extra Esso Extra Points to PC Optimum Points Conversion

After several unsuccessful attempts to convert my point online, I went to Station # [protected] on 2022-02-12 who was also not able to convert my points.

After calling Esso Extra and listening to a ridiculous # of voice cues/messages about the program change and then waiting for another 30 mins to speak to a live agent, the agent had nothing to offer to resolve this and when I asked for technical support, disparingly sent me back to the beginning of the voice cues to start all over again. The worst customer service experience I have ever had and with no path to find a resolution to my points conversion, I am left with only this voice as a means to resolve this situation.

Desired outcome: To speak to someone who can resolve this technical issue associated with my Esso Extra points conversion to PC Optimum points

Esso Extra esso extra points

Since I have received notice that esso extra points are discontinued in the new year I have been trying to get a gas card for the equivalent. The website doesn't work. All I get is an error message when trying to connect. I tried to redeem my points for a one hundred dollar gas card at a local esso station but they told me I had to do that on line. Is this a scam to get us to forget about the points?

Esso Extra Can not get hold of anyone at customer care service. 1-800-567-3776

I have called the Customer Care Service and can not get hold of anyone. I have issues with my esso extra card. Shows that my card is registered but I can not get the email address /password to work. Customer care service phone number(1-800-567-3776) is NO help as nobody answers. It just gives you recordings and then hangs up on you. 😡

Esso Extra Refusal of points discount

Twice at Station [protected] (1195 Danforth Ave, Toronto ON M4J 1M7) they have refused to allow a discount of of my accumulated points. The manger stated they no longer accept extra priileges cards.

My Extra Privlileges card #[protected]
My Esso Extra card is #[protected]

It appears they are not meeting their ESSO advertised franchise requirements.

I have also filed the issue twice thru the client contact screen and have had no answer, this reason why raising issue with you.

Esso Extra use of washroom

I stoped at this gas station today and started putting gas into my vehicle and my friend went to use the washroom. After i filled my car with gas then i wanted to use the washroom.

When i went there the cashier said to me that you cannot use the washroom. When i asked why then he said the same words that you cannot. I asked again and he said its out of service, which it was not. My friend just used it 2 min ago and he said it was working and is clean. Then i realized the person just cleaned the washroom and does not want anyone to use it as he might have to clean it after sometime.
They even sometime attach a fake paper saying out of service even when it is working properly. Most of the time after they clean it up.

Esso Extra refund

Hi all,

Me and my family put gas on esso station in italy florence on saturday, 14 september. The site Id is: 08708.

As you can see at the receite, I paid for the gas 50 euro and the machine does not gave me back the change that deserve to me.

What can I do with that?

The receite attached here, with all the details of the day, the Name of the gas station and the time.

Esso Extra customer service

Worst customer service ever, I love coming into a store being a paying customer and getting accused of shoving [censored] into my purse and yea I did the effing tim hortons I just stood in line and paid for and was not offered a bag so [censored]ing I have to put my sandwich into my purse in order to have free hands to grab a bottle of pop and a couple things of candy and proceed to pay for my items when an employee comes and asks if i'm going to pay for the items in my purse, and I laughed not thinking he's serious cuz the only thing in my purse in my [censored]ing already paid for him hortons and completely think he's joking till I see he's actually not so I actually dumped my full purse on there counter (mind you this by time that employee is now hiding in the back) just to show I have zero items of there's and the employee at the till is all embarrassed and trying to defend the other one who accused me.. To bad I know my rights and even if I did have concealed merchandise which mind you I didn't but even if I did you can't [censored]ing call me a theif until I leave your store with it... You shouldn't accuse innocent people that have a lawyer in there family of stealing just because you can't do your job... That's how lawsuits happen... See you soon (only got 1 name) anthony

Esso Extra car wash / customer service

I purchased a luxury wash at the finch & weston location. The car infront me drove in the wash without punching in her code. When it was my turn my code did not work obviously. When I returned in the person named neel was very rude yelling that I broke his car wash and I should step aside. And I told him that he cannot be speaking to me this way. He continued to yell at me and other male customers from behind were telling him to have some respect. He also yells at them to mind their buisness. Great customer service! Way to go neel. He also yelled that he will not give me his managers number to file a complaint and to go google it. Thats how they are hired to represent esso

Esso Extra prepaid gas not adjusting to actual gas received

On Oct 17th at 3:38 I prepaid for $40.00 regular gas but the tank only to $33.73. As of today my bank account has not adjusted to the correct dollar amount. This has happened several times at this location in Chestermere, Alberta. The manager and assistants have advised me that the adjustment will be made to my account later. This has never happened. Today I was told to come in tomorrow morning when the manager is in to get a refund. This is not possible as I will be at work but was told to make arrangements with the manager to get a refund. He said the reason why this happened is because the Register used was not Esso, so the calculation of gas received to gas paid was not adjusted. So, I asked why they would use Register 2 if this was a problem and they said it was because they were busy. I'd like to also mention that pump 6 was leaking a great deal of gas which dripped heavily on my open toed shoe, when I pulled the nozzle out of the pump. This has also been a frequent problem. We have a Petro Canada in Chestermere, which is quite busy, but if I'm continually loosing money at this location I will have to change gas stations.

Esso Extra car wash

I purchased a luxury car wash in August. The line was really long so I decided to come back another time. I'm not in the area too frequently. I had no idea the wash expires two months after purchase. Why would you expire something a customer paid money for so soon? This is theft! The guys at the store are so unprofessional and pretty much said "yeah, that's too bad".

Esso Extra price at gas pump and gas display were different

Hi there, so this morning at 2:30am ( Oct 6) I saw the sign at the Esso gas station at 144.9 on 64th ave and 120th street in Surrey. I went in and punching in my card and all and just as I was starting to pump I noticed the price at the pump was 157.9. I quickly stopped and went inside to talk to the associate. He was cleaning and restocking at this time at the front of the store. I told the associate the issue and he went behind the counter and changed something in his machine. So I asked if he fixed it and he said it is $157.9/litre. I was confused because when I was filling the display on the big board on the street was $144.9 ( I have a pictures). He said well I forgot to change it. I told him I should be paying the priced displayed as that is what was advertised. He said he is new and has to call the manager. He called and came back saying, he does not have any authorization so he can not do anything. This was very disappointing. This is false advertisment and cheating because most of the time people do not double check the price at the pump. I explained my concern so he called his manager JasKaran. He come back and said come and talk to my manager during the day. I can not do anything. I got his name which is Navdeep and the manager he spoke to was JasKaran. I went back the next day and expalined the situation to JasKaren and he brushed it off. He said Navdeep was about to do it but that was when I came in. Things like this happen and I should understand. I told him that was incorrect because Navdeep was restocking and cleaning when I came in. He called Navdeep and then came back. Jaskaran said nothing can be done and he pumped some where once and it happened to him and he was understand and paid the higher price and did not create an issue. This was rude and a waste of my time. I mentioned the cashiers code of conduct and how I should be getting $10 off. He brushed me off saying he is the assisant manager so he cant do anything. Manager is away in Victoria, BC. I was very upset at the way this was being dealt with. He then went to the back and called his manager Sukhjinden. According to him Sukhjinden said nothing can me be done. I asked to speak to his manager as he is unable to do anything. He said come back on Monday Oct 8th because that is when he will be back. I dont think I should have to keep going back just to get the gas at the price they advertised. I already used my gas to come in today.

To be honest this is ridicules. I can not believe such a big company that I have been a customer for for over 10 years is treating me like this. And that they do not honour the law and code of conduct. I am emailing you now because I am in hope that you will be able to help me in resolving this issue.

This was intended to be for Esso’s head office not to be posted like this. It was my mistake. I tried getting this complain deleted but complaintboard refused to help me with that. Anyways, Esso is taking the appropiate action to resolve this issue. Thanks.

Esso Extra gas leak/no help from attendant

My father (who is a senior) was filling up gas today (Sunday August 26th) at the station at Yonge and Finch in the Pickle Barrel Plaza at approximately 1:30pm. The pump did not stop once the tank was full but rather began overfilling, spilling all over the ground and my father's legs and shoes. He did not even get a receipt because he was trying to wipe off the gasoline and rushed home to shower. Before he left, he informed the attendant of what happened who responded by saying "I start working at 6am and this has never happened before." Not only did he neglect to ask if my father was okay or offer to help him in the slightest but instead he just left to go get something to clean the spill on the ground, leaving my father to fend for himself. My father came home in pain, soaked in gasoline and I am just thankful that he lives close enough to the gas station that he was able to quickly go home and shower. I am shocked and disgusted that this happened and he was not offered a helping hand by your employee. To request a refund would be an understatement as I initially advised my father to sue. He simply does not have the energy to do so and would rather me just fill out a complaint which I am doing now so I truly hope he is fairly compensated for this horrendous experience he has endured.

The service at Yonge and finch is really bad, especially the cashiers, there is a fat black women always yells at customers, looks like everyone own her a billion dollars.
