I received my free trial of essence of argan oil in april 2019 paid post and packaging
Have received no other bottles so thought that was it. But now it seems I have been charged the following;
20th April 2019 - $154.70 - no essence of argan oil received
6th May 2019 - 167.83 - no essence of argan oil received
5th June 2019 - $168.42 - no essence of argan oil received
As I only wanted the free trial i did not realise I was being debited monthly without my knowledge for products I have not received or I would have been in touch with you sooner
I would like a Refund for april may and june total cost $490.95
I would also like an e mail to say this has been received and any follow up would be appreciated. My email as follows - grace smith.[protected]@gmail.com

Back in December I purchased what I thought was a free trail only to find that in January I was charged for these products.

On 10 January 2019 I phoned and cancelled the orders and paid $15.03 x 2 for these unopened products to be returned by courier and was told once the products were received they would credit my account.

The following phone calls took place:

25th February was told that the product had been received and that I would receive a refund in 12-14 days.

2nd April they apologised and said I would receive the refund in 5-7 days.

15 April they apologised again and said I would receive the refund in 3-4 days.

4th May they tell me they are unable to refund me any money as the gateway has closed for this account and am told all they can do is offer me a free gift.

I find this absolutely ludicrous that this company is unable to give me a refund. This company is obviously scamming hundreds of customers. They got me for $157.58 & $175.77 NZ!

The free trial was on Facebook endorsed by New Zealand's own Rachel Hunter. I signed up for a free trial. I gave my bank card details to pay for post and packaging. I didn't ask for a free trial of eye cream as I didn't need eye cream. Two bottles of Argan oil arrived on my doorstep weeks apart along with eye cream. I didn't order this so I rang the company. I managed to get a hold of a women in Australia. I told her in February I didn't ask for these bottles to be sent. She said she would cancel my order. I was scammed for up to $1000. I have tried to ring them again but no reply.

On 20/4 I ordered a free trial of a 30 ml Essence Of Argan oil. However the website added two further products which weren't ordered. I didn't receive any confirmation of order but my card was charged for thre product.

While I immediately locked the card, when the products arrived I assumed it was authentic I unlocked the card.

Today the above ordered was made in my name and NZ$160 was charged to me. The invoice came in my name and the company is showing as

I have put a fraud charge in via my bank.

Can you please please to sort out and reimburse me for fraud charges taken.

I received a free sample last month and got an e-mail today saying that I subscribe monthly on this product, wich cost me 120! Euros. This is a scam... taking advantage of old people, that might not understand the language or internet for that matter all that well... when I called customer service and asked if I can cancel my subscribtion, and return the products, I was told that I could do that, but it would cost me another 40 american dollars... this is just ridiculous

Essence of argan! What a lovely product i've tried. It does its purpose, no more dark circles under my eyes - no more zombie look ; it even moisturized my skin without the greasy feeling effect and it even helps me achieve that glowing skin. I am very grateful with the company for giving me a lifetime discount of 70% and gets my anti wrinkle cream every month for only $29.99, best deal I got this year!

I have been charged $172.83 on the 17/0402019 for essence of Argan oil that I have not requested or require.
I requested the 30ml free try product that I received, but did not want any more.
I have spoken to the fraud section of my bank who advised making contact to request re-imbursement of the $172.83 back into my bank account, which I am now doing; if I do not receive it, the bank fraud division will investigate further, and I will also report this to the police as theft

I have tried to contact them over the phone and email but am disappointed in the service received.

My mother in law purchased this product and we are disappointed by the way that they have treated their consumer.
they offered a free trial, just pay shipping so they purchased the product in good faith with the intention of purchasing if they liked it.
The product didn't arrive til 10 days later and she was unaware that there was a 14 day trial tied to the terms.
Upon looking at an email their fine fine fine print stated they will be charged monthly of $154.17 automatically via credit card.
Nowhere did I see that you must contact the company within 14 days that she would then have to pay the full price equating to $154.17 for this product she already received.

This feels like a scam and I am heavily disappointed. She has contacted them and although they have offered her a 40% discount, she did not agree to these terms, she felt backed in to a corner and is a vulnerable consumer who wasn't sure how to manage the situation.
I am aware they are not bound by the consumer guarantees act in New Zealand, however they have taken advantage of a Consumer who believed in good faith she was receiving a product from you for the price of shipping and handling and was not entering in to a contract. I am aware they have provided her with a 40% discount, however I also know that they have provided other consumers who are disappointed with larger refunds for the same product so there is no precedent.

I believe in good faith, they should be providing her with the full refund of this product.
She did not receive this until the 4th March, meaning she had already missed out on 10 days of her trial. She has only used the product once and we will happily send the product back to them if they can honor this agreement and provide her the remainder of her refund (the remaining 60%)

I took advantage from your trial offer and after few days of receiving the products I got direct debits on my credit card I checked back your emails to retrieve the phone numbers and find out about your terms and conditions I called the company to return the products back for a refund they advised me to keep the products and get 70% back, I agreed since I was curious to try the products, actually the products are amazing I called back and subscribed to receive the products every two months, you need to put the terms and conditions up front because the products are worth trying.. I love them

I purchased a 14 day free trial on the 25th Feb 2019.(3 products - (Oil, moisturiser and makeup deal)

The products did not arrive until the 5th and 6th Feb 2019
By the 9th of Feb they had taken over $300 from my account.
I did not have a chance to test the product beyond 3 days.

I emailed them pretty much when I got the product to say I would not be continuing.
It is now 11 days since I first emailed them and they have taken another $77 today.
I emailed them again yesterday but still nothing.

I have also tried to call on the contact number but no answer.(1800 058 430)
On the website is a call meter. It says only 6 people have been able to contact the business, 31 have gone unanswered.

I am on a dsp and wanted to try the product as advertised in a 14 day FREE trial for which I paid about $27 p&h. As I said, Id had the product only 3 days and could not contact them to cancel. Convenient huh?

I am now going to have to get rid of my c/c and order a new one which stuffs around my other direct debits. I am livid!

Now that I have paid for the product I have no intention of returning it but I do not wish to buy any more but cannot contact them to cancel.

I am definitely not interested in an ongoing subscription.
Who would want to do any business with a company who does not communicate.

I ordered the free Aryan essence for $4.95.I
gave them my MasterCard details. Then they just tried to keep buying other products. So I tried to cancel my order but my details disapered from the screen. Please try to help me so they do not take any money from me.
I' am afraid to loose money as I'm a pensioner. I should not have fallen for this scam.

I only ever ordered a sample, yet I am now being sent and billed for a monthly product I do not want and will return if any more is received. I note there was a charge made again today. Please do not send the product and please refund the full amount of AU$148.62. This product is grossly overpriced.
If I receive it, I will return it unopened at your cost.

My order was definitely a sample only, mainly due to the fact that I couldn't order a full price item because it was too expensive as I am disabled and on a limit income.
I would like some feedback and offer or recompense
I feel that the ordering was confusing and misleading and I was extremely disappointed in how the whole thing has been handled.
I spoke to a Representative in America and I have had to cancel my credit card because I was fearful of continued fees.
She has offered me 50% repayment but I still feel I should get full price back due to false advertising.

I sent away for a free trial of E of A approximately a couple of months ago. Only cost to myself was the postage, which of course I provided my Credit Card number to pay for same.

About a week ago I received another bottle, for which I did not submit an order. I am extremely upset that they have used my details to continue providing the product. I am returning the parcel to E of A and expect a FULL REFUND and the termination of, what appears to be, my account

I accepted a -free- trial offer online and paid $19.88 for Antiwrinkles therapy cream and $9.60 for Idrocream-Fast (called Essence of Argan, I presume) on December 9, 2018, including shipping. I received these products in two separate padded envelopes without any attached paperwork.

I then find out that on December 22, 2018, this company charged $123.52 (Antiwrinkles Therapy cream) + $139.38 (Idrocream-Fast) to my credit card account. These two cosmetic items were not ordered by me, nor was the deduction of $262.90 authorized by me! I have not received any products for this charge either (as of today January 4, 2019).

I am requesting that you reimburse my credit card with these last two charges (total of $262.90) for these unwanted items and do not send any further products or make any further charges to my account.

Having seen a pop up advertisement on face book for Essence of Argan Oil endorsed by Lisa Wilkinson (and who I understand is heading the company?), ex Channel 9 Morning show and The Project, I responded to an advertisement for a "Free sample" of Argan Oil. The advertisement stated that all I had to do was pay for shipment.
I provided my credit card details... a little dubious as there is usually a catch however, on the website I could see nothing about a trial period, or any other clauses to the "free sample".

I received the product Monday 17 December... I was concerned as there was no documentation in the package to say that it was in fact a "free sample"

I tried it for a couple of days and found it to be very oily... it didn't absorb into my skin therefore I decided I wouldn't use it anymore. On 21 December I noticed that my master card had been debited for $143.02.

I immediately contacted Essence of Argan to be told that I had been supplied with a full size product and given a 14 day trial. I was told that an email had been sent to me advising me that I had been supplied the full product and I had 14 days to try it out or advise that I did not want it... I did not receive that email... I have searched my in box and also my trash and I did not receive the email. As a back up, I believe there should have been duplicate documentation in the parcel confirming that in fact I had been sent a full size product on a 14 day trial which is not what I had understood from the advertisement.

On the phone, I stated that I hadn't requested that and I did not want to purchase it. I was told that I would have to pay for the product to be send back and also pay a $9 odd fee for processing the credit.

I STRONGLY DISPLUTE THIS COST... IT IS BAD ENOUGH THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE PRODUCT TO BE SENT BACK AS I UNDERSTOOD I WAS GETTING A SAMPLE ONLY FOR FREE!

I DO NOT AUTHORISE THE CANCELLATION/CREDIT PROCESSING CHARGE TO BE DEBITED TO MY MASTERCARD. IF THIS HAPPENS I WILL BE TAKING THIS MATTER FURTHER.

I SIGNED UP FOR A FREE SAMPLE ONLY. I DID NOT RECEIVE AN EMAIL STATING THAT I WAS BEING SENT A FULL SIZE PRODUCT ON A 14 DAY TRIAL. I RECEIVED THE PRODUCT ON 17 DECEMBER AND WAS CHARGED FOR IT ON 21 DECEMBER, 2018.

I BELIEVE THIS IS UNSCRUPULOUS, UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS PRACTICE. I WILL TAKE THIS FURTHER IF I AM CHARGED A CREDIT PROCESSING FEE

Further to my earlier email, as you fraudulently took 3 payments, detailed previously, I have been notified by my Bank that my account is overdrawn. This is to advise that if you do not return to my account the total payment of $435.13Aud by 5 pm, Monday 31 December 2018, I will instructt the Principal of my Law Firm to commence legal action for monies which were fraudulantly taken by you.

Subscribed to a trial in Movemnet not realising that I was agreeing to a monthly subscription if I didn't return the product within 14 days. Now two payments of 100 euro each have been charged to my credit card, 1 in Nov, 2nd in Dec. In that time I have received one small sample bottle of Argan oil. I have since rang the number for IRELAND to cancel the subscription but not a chance of a refund. Argan oil products retail for a fraction of the cost I was charged.
