Epson WF-2540

03/2021, Help desk very helpful, but this printer has been a piece of garbage since purchased! Went through ink rapidly- was expensive and now I was told the hard drive is out?, won't print, only scans, nearest repair shop is five (5) hours away, printer not worth trip. And yes, new ink, paper loaded and maintenance done at least 5-6 times, still nothing. Had problems from the start. I will never buy another Epson product.

Desired outcome: Broken and out of warranty-of course

Epson Espon ET2750 Call in Service

After having an issue with my printer and following directions from both the online help and unit manual, we called the service line. The individual did not provide his name in a clear manner, he asked the same questions over and over again, when we asked for him to repeat the information at one point, he yelled at us. we were repeatedly put on hold, and thought at one point he hung up. We went through the same process several times and when asked if we could talk to a technician he put us on hold again. When he returned he started asking the same set of questions. We tried to give him our serial number but he wouldn't take until 40 mins later. Near the end of the call he said our warranty was expired but could not tell us how long the warranty was from the date of purchase. He then said he could provide us with local support but we would have to mail the printer. We asked for the company name and he couldn't give it to us. Then he asked for our address, which we were not willing to provide. We then asked to talk with a supervisor and were put on hold with the expectation that we would get to talk to someone who might be able to provide us with support . But the same agent came back on and started asking us the same set of questions. After a 50 min conversation with Epson's support for my printer we are in the same position. With the experience with both the printer and the service I have no interest in supporting this company and would never refer this product to anyone.

Desired outcome: I just want my printer fixed as it is almost new

Epson My recent wf-4734 firmware upgrade

Are you guys nuts? Do you know just how many complaints there are against your products since you upgrade users with firmware that locks out 3rd party cartridges? I used to work for ge and our major concern was to maintain and increase the the superior customer relations we had with our customers. Do you have any idea how many current users will never again buy an epson product? Even microsoft will allow users to regress any update to the previous level if problems are encountered in the upgrade. You absolutely need to do the same - and as quickly as possible! Whoever told you that by trapping customers into using only your cartridges your profits would increase was short sighted. Yes, in some cases revenue will increase temporarily. It is only a matter of time when either the third party ink providers or the internet guru's come up with a fix. Do you really think any of us users (yes, we are users of epson products and may have been for many years) will voluntarily buy epson in the future when other providers, such as brother, do not trap their users into proprietary ink? I, for one, would love to see epson become a leader in this area showing customers that they come first - not just their money. You also could lower the prices on your cartridges to be far more competitive with third party providers making them obsolete.
I am 88 years old and can use my computer and printer to earn some extra money here and there. I find it a financial hardship to buy your ink at the list price. You have shut down my income from this source since you have turned my hardware into a door stop. Correct this asap please.

Unfortunate decision to buy an Epson instead of an HP All in One Product. Don't do it!

Printer is ok, but the user interface SUCKS!

Epson Printer and ink cartridge

Replace ink (Black) with 212XL, printer keep saying that we need to change Ink cartridge or that it doesn't recognize ink cartridge, this is the 2nd time I have had to get in touch with Epson support about the same issues. This ink cost almost 50.00, we are a small business and now I the company no able to print needed documents that need to go out in the mail today. This printer will not accept 212XL cartridge (this is all that the stores in my area have, plus this cartridge black 212xl came with the printer when we purchase it, but it will not for some reason accept the store purchase ones. I had to call Epson the first time we had this problem (taking and sending pictures of cartridge purchase, pictures of error message and on and on) Waiting for two weeks for (1) new cartridge from Epson and the now the same problem again. We need help in this matter, send several email asking for a supervisor call us. [protected]
Never again will This company purchase a Epson product
again.

I am in the exact same situation. Printed an invoice and had a update so decided i had a few minutes to wait anyway. Printer goes into a cannot recognize INK #blah blah blah. worked freaking great just 2 minutes ago and now i cannot scan to send the invoice so i get paid. so a $120.00 piece of crap is holding up thousands for me.

I will chalk this up to a business expense and will by HP from now on.

Epson Corporate customer resolution center

Would you buy a product from this company? Corporate office employee with an attitude identifying themselves by the name Sal was rude and disrespectful. On Friday Feb. 21, 2020 at approximately 7:06 pm est. Customer service transferred me to the Corp. office for further assistance. Sal got on the line I asked him where he was located, "In my office". Are you in the corporate office? "Yes". Where is that located? I asked; he said, " is there something I can help you with or is this going to be an interrogation?" I told Sal I did not like his attitude and he said " okay well have a nice day and HUNG UP".
Called back Friday Feb. 28th. After navigating the call center to get back to the corporate office I ended up with a woman named Pauline who refused to even acknowledge my presence on the line and then when frustrated handed my call over to Trudy. She tried to pacify me by saying she was sorry and understood. Well, the initial agreement was to replace a yellow ink cartridge at no charge. Trudy decided that now I should have to pay for the cartridge which was initially supposed to be delivered a week ago with a black cart. for all my inconvenience. I refused. This was unacceptable to me. Taking away the original agreement was the last straw. I identified myself on the recorded call and told the Epson rep. Trudy to keep the ink. I will be expecting a full apology from Epson which I'm sure will never come just like the ink they were supposed to send and didn't.

Epson printer l 4150

Gentlemen, greetings.
First, I want to apologize for using this route for this statement of mine. After all, I'm in Brazil and there are Brazilian departments that could understand my dissatisfaction. I tried here in Brazil, but I was not served properly.
I bought an EPSON L 4150 printer and with less than 3 months of use this printer has stopped working. I did not recognize my network, and even reinstalling the drivers was not recognized on my network.
I referred it to an authorized service center, who reported the need to replace the main elements of my printer, including the printhead.
I found it strange because I only use my printer to print a few flat sheets, without much print quality. We print at most 2 to 3 spreadsheets per week, meaning it was not overused or misused.
I contacted EPSON, and my problems began. I met two attendants, totally unprepared and without patience. One of them said that under Brazilian law I had to wait up to 30 days for my printer to be repaired and, if I wanted, I could look for my rights. I contacted EPSON just to show my indignation and I thought it was fair for EPSON to ship a new printer.
In my opinion, the EPSON quality system was not effective and I ended up buying defective equipment, which is a strategy for the buyer to do the EPSON part.
I was unsuccessful and very poorly attended.
I am forwarding this message with no intention of being compensated in any way. My only intention is to bring this event to the attention of you so that you can be aware of these occurrences. By the way, I wasn't the only one complaining about this L 4150 printer.
Thank you very much and, once again, I am sorry for using this avenue to demonstrate all my dissatisfaction with EPSON's product and service.

Epson epson expression home xp5100

My printer was working very good with a three party ink which I have use for many years. An update was added to my printer that stopped the use of my ink which had been working before. I request a new computer or a fix to turn this problem around and have never got an answer. This print is less than six months old. I have purchased a different printer for HP. because of poor service from you.

Under MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY IMPROVEMENT ACT U.S. Code Annotated

Chapter 50 Consumer Product Warranties
Section 2030
Basically this means that you cannot stop third party ink from working in your (my) printer.
I would like to be reimbursed for this printer and will sent it back to you.

Epson epson dtg surecolor f2000

In Nov 2017, I had purchased the ESPON SureColor F2000 DTG machine to start Tshirt printing startup for about 11 lacs. After purchasing the product, I asked them to show me the demo. The service guy tried a lot, wasted a lot of ink and shirts but couldn't show the desired result. He asked us to keep on trying until we get the desired or a market-ready product.
We kept on trying for 2 months, tried to print it on a different type of T-shirts but nothing worked. The sad part is everything we switched on the machine, about 10% of the total white cartridge got empty. This is because the printer uses its white cartridge to clean the nozzle. The price of the cartridge is about Rs.26000 and without printing selling a single T-shirt the first white cartridge was over.
While purchasing the machine I never knew that about 90% of the cartridge will drain out due to cleaning of the nozzle. The company should think of some alternative or reduce the price of the cartridges. I have tried to sell the printer but no one is interested after listening to this drawbacks. Even the company is not interested in a buyback or fix their faulty product. I have lost 11 lacs and the machine is lying idle since last 2 years.
I tried to contact them but they aren't interested in offering any solution. They are ready to give service but when the machine itself is faulty and the ink wastage is too high will I able to ever make profit out of it?

Epson l4160 ink tank printer

Please spend an amount of Rs. 16000+ only for Epson L4160 only if you are ready to face the below problems:
(1) Worst quality of color and B/W print
(2) Customer service is worst in the world
(3) To keep this printer in working condition, you need to print at least 5-6 B/W pages per day and at least 1 color print per day. This information is no where published by Epson. In their website/brochure or e-commerce websites.
(4) If due to any reason you are not taking any prints for continuous 7-10 days, it will require a 15-20 minutes of exercise in cleaning head and nozzle and you need to waste 5-6 papers to verify the output. Even after that also only customer service team visit will be required. The customer service executive will waste your 20-30 ml ink from each bottle and then only the printer will start working.
(5) Many times their technical executives are also not able to solve the problem leaving the customer in a position where the customer can neither use the printer nor throw it in garbage
(6) After warranty is over, you need to call their technician to fix the printer issue every 10-15 days and you need to pay them 1000 Rs. everytime.
(7) Almost in 50% cases only blank pages will be printed. But printer will increase the print counter. And Epson will consider this count as actual number of printed pages through the printer
(8) Non-responsible customer service team. Even the senior management is also careless about the customer service. (Complaint# INN6001000712)

Epson passbook printer repair

We have registered a complaint with complaint no.5935567 on 04/04/2019.Your customer care person told us within 3 working days it will be resolved.But it is already 7 days no Engineer visited our branch.we are calling daily to your customer care number but they are doing nothing.They are only saying it will be resolved shortly we have no Engineer.Then who we will complaint about this if you people can't do anything.

if you would quit erasing my typing i might get this done.
i need to change my charge card info, , or address, or whatever your computer wants so I can BUY INK
I changed my address at my bank
I changed it at the post office
i changed it everywhere i can reach
except on your web site
There is no link to update personal info, only name and email address.
That is a useless page!

Where can i update my change card number?

Epson xp 352 printer

Over the years I have always used epson printersm, until now, I recently purchased a n epson printerexpression xp 352.
It will not accept any heavy paper no matter what settings I use.
Can you please tell me why, and dont give me ant information on settings I have tried them all, thank you, peter.

P.S. A replacement printer is what I need, I will pay the differance if the new one is more expensive.

Epson scanner support l355

Despite three 'chats' and trying different drivers my L355 scanner does not work following recent W10 upgrade. It seems TWAIN no longer supported but the Epson driver does not work either.
W10 x 64 Build 17134
I need this scanner but can only get it to work with a thrid party software - Vuescan - which leaves a watermark.

Your help would be appreciated. I have used Epson for over 30 years without problems.

Epson twain drivers in windows 10 lost

Despite three 'chat' your tech people (who all tried the same 'solution' were not able to get my Epson L355 scanner to work. I can get it to work using a 3rd party Vuescanx64 software but lose all the Epson functionality. According to my research on the web this is because TWAIN is no longer supported under this build W10 V1803 15.5.18 OS build 17134.590.

Is there anything more I can do? I have two Epson scanners the other is a V300 photo - it does work.

The L355 starts with a splash screen for Epson but then seems to be unable to open a full screen. Very dissapointing having used Epson products for the past 40 years!

Epson epson xp 640 printer

Hello,
Your god-damned printer cannot recognize a thick sheet for address labels. It keeps coming up as a CD/DVD printing. Your engineers are imbeciles for this design. Nobody prints on a CD/DVD anymore. No setting or FAQ or other assistance has helped.

Congratulations on losing a customer over a sheet of unprinted address labels.

I am going back to HP and never looking back.

Epson epson expression home xp-330 small in one

I purchased this printer quite some time ago . first thing said I needed new ink ?. I got new ink still says I need new ink. and on and on and on. I have yet to print a single page of anything!. have spent more replacing ink than I paid for the stupid printer. have never printed a single picture. my son got it to print 1 page trying to get it going but no black of course. if it was just me I could see I may be having an issue but my son has a masters degree and said its a piece of junk and never buy Epson again. thanks a lot. Epson xp 830 printer

I recently purchasing this printer & with the original software I had a wide range of ink cartridges to choose from. Then Epson advised me that I needed to install new software under the guise of an update. The update was designed to restrict use of all ink cartridges except Epson cartridges. I have recently read numerous reviews about Epson implementing this bait & switch practice. The cost of operating & the inconvenience of changing cartridges constantly renders this product unsatisfactory. I have had numerous Epson printers over the past 12 years - for personal use & in my business. This is not a sustainable operating practice.

Epson xp 340

Brought ur machine less then a year ago changed ink cartridge using ur brand and bam printer wont print in black . Last printer I had was a different brand and lasted years so I didnt keep receipt . Ur printer less then a year . Another 20 bucks on ur ink and ur machine is faulty . Great job . Single parent small income and have to buy a new printer for my study . No food for mother next week . Thanks for a horrible printer .

Epson xp-640

what is wrong with you people why do you make a printer that won't print B&W when one of the color cartridges is low, what a rip off it's 9 P.M. I'm teaching a class tomorrow and I can't print off my stupid outlines because your piece of garbage printer won't let me print B&W only with one of my color cartridges are low. no place is open to get ink so I'm screwed.
you want more details how about I post the video of me running over this piece of garbage with my truck.
I would like a full refund, I don't have a receipt and I doubt you would do anything anyway.
I'm really trying to be polite, you should read some of the online reviews about your products,
most of all just fix the problem make a printer you can print black and white with only if you want, it's not that hard.

Epson all-in-one printers

How about a no star rating?
In April of 2018 our original Epson printer (WF4600+) series quit printing.
After several calls and being place on hold, the customer service rep said they would replace to unit, but could not use the same model, leaving us with over $200 in unusable ink.
The unit Epson sent us required us buying more ink. 7 months later (Nov 2018) the new model showed a scanned error. I called Epson, at first by chat (5minute)s, then by direct telephone (another 15 minutes wasted waited for the answer) where I was told my printer was out of warranty 7 months after Epson replaced the unit. We had approximately $200 in ink cartridges in stock we had purchased for the WF-4730.
I sked to speak with the supervisor, and was put on hold again. 25 minutes later, I was put through to the supervisor and told there was nothing they could do and I could buy a new unit for 15% discount. I then asked to be put through to Epson complaint department. Another 15 minute wait and the complaint department told me there was nothing the company could do to replace the faulty replacement printer. Once again I was told I could purchase a new All-In-One and they would throw in a free set of standard ink cartridges.
Bottom line, twice within 7 months our Epson All-In-Ones failed and we were left hanging with over $400 worth of Epson Ink Cartridges.
I will never purchase an Epson product again. Their answer was completely unacceptable to me!
