Enterprise Rent-A-Car Rental

I rented a suv from Frankford Ave location Sept 24- 27. The reason I went back to Enterprise was because last rental for 2 days, the Manager had rented me a smoke (cigarette) filled SUV earlier, and with 3 Kids for 2 days I travelled to DC. I have no idea how much toxins we all inhaled and are closer to getting cancer with AC on full blast it was like sitting in a bar with smoke all around. Anyways coming to the issue here, The Manager told me he would take care of the rental next time I booked. So that meant I would get 2 days free rental for the smoke filled SUV. I returned the SU V and went back home, looked up my card and lo he had charged me $ 331 for 3 days. I shoukd be charged only for 1 day extra. I asked him to reverse it but he told me he could do only one day, which he said he needs approval from management. I am not working due to pandemic currently. so that is steep bill for me. I want my $ 110 credited back to my card ASAP with finance charges.
I gave them a weekly business of $ 600 + for 2 years from my previous company. It all about making $ for Enterprise at cost of my familys health.
Can I send A bill for smoking inhalation for $ 20000 per passenger to you?
I regret having to deal with Enterprise. Send me check for my fraud charges or fo you want my lawyer to send you his bill and health damage from a the young passengers too?

Desired outcome: want my $ with finance charges

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Rental deposit

I was charged two full deposits on the same rental, because I extended the agreement by 2 extra days. When I returned the car there was no damage inside or out. I would have expected to have gotten my deposit(s) back, but I've been waiting on my deposit return since about June 26, 2021. Ive called and spoke with customer service in August. Enterprise said that it would be my banks fault, as they immediately release the holds on deposits, and that they didn't see anything, but that they would investigate it and get back to me and of course they never did. Now I've contacted the bank and the bank won't even approve the dispute because of lack of information from Enterprise and no one can tell me where my deposit is or why I never go it back! It's highly upsetting because this is pretty much the only company I liked using prior to this incident.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Atlanta hartsfield rental center

I had a rental reservation and was turned away because my return flight was booked earlier that day. I drove in from Michigan to watch my grandchildren while my daughter celebrates her birthday in Mexico for a week. She's set to fly out at 6am. They said I have to come back at noon tomorrow and I can be allowed to continue with my reservation (even though the flight booking date still would not be 24 hours) I asked if I could speak to a manager because I felt like Rine (if that's even his last name) racially profiled me. He wasn't friendly with me as he was with the white customers. Then the black manager name Jasmine walked up. He briefed her on what the issue was. She then said it was a RED FLAG that the flight was booked same day when my assistance with my grandchildren were last minute. This inconvenienced my daughter with her trip out of the country tremendously. I feel like I am being treated like a criminal. I met the criteria requirements. I went to look up the "policy" to find I am within rental rights of the policy. I am extremely disappointed in the treatment I received tonight here. I never had these type of issues. I would like the employees involved to be reprimanded. I am calling an attorney tomorrow to discuss the discrimination I encountered as of I were a criminal or because my daughter wore her religious headdress!

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Rental Car

My complaint pertains to the reservation process in the Evans, GA and Martinez, GA locations. On at least 3 different occasions I have made reservations only to get a call one or two hours prior to picking up the vehicle to be informed that the locations do not have vehicles. I've used the customer service department for assistance and even the escalation department. I was informed that I would get a call back within an hour, but never received a call. I then called back only to be informed that they would contact me within 3 days. My travel plans were ruined as this appears to become a routine practice. I've been a member for approximately 15 years and the service continues to decline. No resolution for the customer! My recent reservation number is [protected]. I'm a part of a cooperate account and seriously thinking about using another company for future travel plans. FROM an Extremely dissatisfied long term customer

I reserved a full size car from 9-4-21 to 9-6-21 and checked in on 9-2-21 and received a confirmation by email. When I got there they didn't have any full size cars available. Confirmed rental for pickup truck for 2 weeks @ $653. Arrived to pick it up and no truck at all was available. However, the attendant said he would give me a free upgrade me to a large SUV if I agreed. Now I see I was charged $953.07 instead of the $653 promised.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Service

I reserved a car on 9-1-21 and received a confirmation by email. I was dropped off because my car was in the shop. When I got there suddenly they didn't have ANY cars available. I was left stranded in Perris. This is unacceptable. I was left walking around not knowing where I was or what to do for over an hour in which that time my cell phone died.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car customer service at hurontario and camilla location

I have been renting from enterprise for the past 2 and a half years straight. Recently, the price increased and due to the pandemic I can not longer afford the prices to rent a car. I spoke with Boppy, a representative at the Camilla location, and told him that I would be dropping off the car but I would require a ride home. He stated that he was not going to do that as it is not company policy. He then placed me on hold where I heard the automatic recording say that enterprise does pick ups and drop offs. After explaining to him that I had someone drop me off before, he stated that he will not do it and I would need to find my own way back. I think that it is disgusting that I WAS a loyal and long term customer and a simple drop home should have been provided since it is in the company policy. I am furious! Plus I just found out that the rates are dropping in 2 weeks from an employee that cleans the cars. Why was I not informed? Is this how enterprise handles long term customers?

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Chad Hendricks

My husband lost his job due to covid. We are struggling just me working one day out of the blue Chad Hendricks sends me a letter stating I was overcharged with a check of course not expecting this letter or check I'm feeling blessed to have some extra money for bills so I deposit it to pay bills then this Chad Hendricks tells me emails me and says oh my bad that check was sent out by mistake you owe me that money back what why did you mail me the check for then he sends me another email stating I owe 5000 this was for last year I'm like omg so I'm on the phone calling my insurance company on the phone with them forever there like no that was paid for then Chad Hendricks emails me again and says oh my bad a typo what do you mean like why is this man playing with people's emotions. I don't get it I didn't ask him to send me a letter stating I was overcharged and here here is this 500 check why mail it to me I'm already struggling ne thinking its a blessing this Chad Hendricks talking about suing me this going on my credit Chad Hendricks this is your fault why send out letters and checks and then want it back me and my husband yes is struggling I didn't ask for you to send me this letter and check just because it was your accident I don't get why even send it to me in the first place thus Chad Hendricks has made our lives a living hell because of his mistakes he's so smug like oh well no not oh well this is all your fault anyways I don't have the 500 he has to be stopped with his accidents and typos people like me our struggling right now with there husbands losing there jobs to covid then you Chad Hendricks with your smug attitude all I'm trying to say is this man has made my families lives a living hell with his threats typos and accidents

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Deception about supplemental insurance

I was recently involved in an automobile accident in which I was not at fault. My insurance company referred me to Enterprise for a rental while my car was being repaired. I rented a vehicle from the St. Pete Beach location on May 24, 2021. I declined the supplemental insurance at $20/day but the agent told me the supplemental insurance was required and not to worry, the at fault driver's insurance would be covering it anyway. That was not true. I was charged $800 and when I contacted Enterprise about it, the [person handling my account told me the agent shouldn't have said that but he would look into it and get back with me. He did not. I then contacted customer care who told me a regional manager would contact me. They did not. I tried emailing the [protected]@enterprise. The same person who was originally "handling" the issue called me. I could not answer the call as I was at work. I called back 10 minutes later and the phone rang and rang until I got the message "this caller has a voicemail which has not been set up, please try your call again later". I have since called 4 times and have not reached him and have been unable to leave a message. He has also not attempted to call me again. When scouring the internet, trying to find a way to address this, I have come across numerous reports of this exact same thing happening to others. This is completely unacceptable. It is quite obvious this is a predatory tactic employed by Enterprise. I am a school social worker who was hit by an at fault driver and Enterprise Rent A Car used that as an opportunity to deceive me out of $800. Which by the way, is the cost of my mortgage payment. I was injured in the accident, have missed work and was also deceived by Enterprise Rent A Car. I can supply all the contact information, receipts, etc. to any interested party. Quite honestly, this looks like a class action lawsuit to me as this is a common practice by Enterprise Rent A Car.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Wouldn’t refund my deposit and costumer service

I have already emailed the company and called several times. Has not refunded my deposit . I was taking advantage of after a car accident I was in selling me extra insurance I didn't need and knowing the other parties insurance wouldn't cover it. I called and complained and the manger said the only throng she could do was meet me half way and refund me half the extra insurance. I had to pay over 1600 out of pocket for the car I wa told all the wrong info.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Enterprise cancelled my reservation and have still not reimbursed me

I reserved and paid for a van to help move things to a new apartment. Everything was planned for the move. They canceled the night before. They said they would reimburse me, and that it would take 10 business days. It's been almost a month and nothing. call them, nothing. Bunch of scammers. I will go out of my way to never rent a car with them again, and preach to everyone I know to do the same. I'm shocked that a business like this can carry on

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Billing for damage that is not responsibility

My name is mary mau and I rented a car from enterprise rent a car in june of 2021, I requested mid sized car similar in size to my own but didn't go back inside to complain - which I should have because I knew everything about this rental was wrong. I never even got a copy of the rental agreement... The car he rented me was a toyota rav 4. A suv. It was dirty very dirty and very worn it has a huge hole in the floor mat under the gas pedal from someone's heel.. And that is very hard to accomplish. Even very old cars don't have that type of wear. Regardless my friend commented that it must have been a personal vehicle or maybe they just got it at auction because it was so unmaintained. Then the power steering goes out. No warning lights on the dash. Nothing. So I head home. I check my messages and the gentleman who rented me the car from enterprise has called and requested I come present another form of payment since it was taking longer than expected to fix the hail damage to my car than expected they had exhausted the first credit card. Enterprise is literally less than a two min drive from my house so I just go. When I get there I tell them its a horrible rental and inform them the power steering went out. After getting a snyd response as if that wasn't possible I was told they would look at it after they got my credit card info. So they finish that go outside they looked at it backed it up, repark it and then come back inside with all my stuff from the car. Told me that yes the car did not have power steering. I never signed anything agreeing to pay for any damages. We never did a walk around the car. In fact I never got a copy of the rental for the rav 4. I'm told that they are going to rent me a different car. A totally different sales associate writes up a contract this time after we do a walk around and I sign it he hands me my copy of the agreement and the key and I leave in a nice rental that is worthy of $100+ a day. I return the car after hrs. And drop the keys in the box. That was in june and the first part of july. And in august I get a bill from them for "damages" that didn't happen while I had the car &that were not even fixed. I was billed for the diagnosis. And the towing,. But no actual labor to fix the "damages".
They sent pictures of the tuck - but not what the tech claimed to find under the hood in the wheel well that bent the struts and control arms... I am not going to pay for something I didn't do. Whos to say the tow truck driver didn't bend the control arms or struts trying to get it on the tow truck? I mean I find it hard to believe that from an "unknown impact" that left zero visible evidence on the exterior of the car that I was able to bend the struts ect... Or whatever they are claiming.. Its not even really clear what exactly the damage was because all they had done was a diagnosis. And if this were true than it would have or should have been reported to carfax which it wassnt because I bought the carfax. It looks like they are trying to bill me my insurance for maintenance on their car. I mean I should be suing them for renting me a unsafe vehicle in the first place. Thank you for your time.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car car rental through USAA

Today, 11 August 2021, I was denied a rental because they would not accept my USAA VISA debit card payment. They insisted I use a credit card which was not also a debit card. I have several credit cards but I was not carrying them with me. They were 30 miles away in my RV in which I am staying/traveling.
In their own rental agreement which was emailed to me as a reservation, it specifically states that debit cards are acceptable. They left me standing in the street 30 miles from home. Neither I, nor any of my family (15 grandchildren, most of whom are of driving age, will ever have anything to do with them in the future. A copy of this complaint will also be shared with USAA.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Rental car overcharge

In the 7/12/2021 morning, I went to an enterprise store and planned to rent a car, but the worker in the enterprise store told me that I owe enterprise $300 and I'm in renting block list.

I checked all my historical email, I had an accident and car repair in April 2019 and I rented a car from 3425 N Halsted ST, Chicago, IL 60657 store from 05/07/2019 to 05/16/2019. Before I picked up the renter car, I had gotten a confirmation email from enterprise that my auto insurance company had authorized a rental for me with enterprise-rent-a-car.

But enterprise did not charge the rental fee from my auto insurance. I also checked my historical Discover credit transaction log and found that enterprise also charged $300 from my credit card on 11/15/2019.

My questions are 1. Why enterprise did not charge the rental fee from my auto insurance? 2. Enterprise charged $300 from my Discover credit card, why I was added to enterprise blocking list?

I called enterprise several times and sent several emails to enterprise, and also chatted with enterprise online. Almost 1 month gone, the issue is still not resolved.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Tire replacement

I was put in a 2019 surburban with approximately 50000 miles had a tire go flat in Sandy Utah was sent to pep boys in Sandy Utah tire needs to be replaced and no one will get back with pep boys to ok tire replacement so my local enterprise in Fort Collins told me to pay for it and get reimbursed.Wake up and take care of the customer fix what's broke.4 hrs delay so far because of your incompetence.Was just ready to send when pep boys said it got approved.Thanks but you need to have a new system to stop the delays. Thanks Kevin Coker

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Overall maintenance and inspection of vehicles

I was in a Rental from this company on July 6. The first vehicle I did not feel safe to drive. Me thinking like most car companies take care of the routine maintenance right? Wrong, the vehicle tires was on 32 pounds on the entire driver side of the vehicle. The alignment of the vehicle was off as well. I personally had to put some air in both tires however the next day both deflated back to 32 pounds. I even have a card statement showing where I tried to air up nothing. I'm driving at speeds of about 45-50 mph and all of a sudden pop the tire blows out. I truly wish that OCC should do an investigation on Enterprise. You send me a bill for shock replacement. So clearly the shock was already previously bad. Next thing I know I'm being billed for damages to a vehicle and then received a second bill for towing. Seems like Enterprise doesn't want to take any accountability for their vehicles and for that matter have any concerns. One of the reps even asked me on the phone was I on 35 fwy. It's truly a scary feeling when your not in your own car and having to rely on a company that doesn't car for the safety of rental agreements.

Desired outcome: Next step is to look into a class action lawsuit.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Help roadside assistant but received no help!

We reserved a truck and when we called to make sure that we were getting a full size truck they didn't have any available. Then we got a Tahoe brand new less than 10, 000 from Jax to our Key Largo destination. Half way their we were by Okeechobee, FL when the car started making popping noises shaking just acting like it was going to shutdown. Pulled over and call roadside assistance and was told to go to a enterprise site 17 min away even though we told the guy that the car wasn't safe to drive. We were on the way when my husband spoke with the office we were being sent too and they said they had no cars. We ended up at that office for nothing they were open to 5 pm. We got there at 4 pm. No help there only to find out that my husbands information was incorrectly put in and the people on the customer service end were not willing to fix it only to hang up on my husband. We left after 5 to try and make it to the Palm Beech international airport to see if they could exchange the vehicle. Crossing our fingers we drive through a lighting storm extremely bad weather hoping the car didn't stop in us while we tried to contact customer service. Finally we made it to the palm beach when we spoke with someone that said they would have a vehicle waiting for us only to find out there were many at the airport. Spoke with the person again to find out that he was sending us to a location that didn't exist. 1000 Turnage rd which doesn't exist here. Sent to another one where they would not exchange for an suv but would only give us a Dodge minivan when they clearly had other SUV's barely fitting all our things. So roadside assistance was a joke and for my husband, 10 yr old twins, including myself it was a scary driving praying that we would be left on the side of the road. Lastly 4 1/2 hrs later we are on our to finish the 3 he dr to the keys.
