Emirates Islamic Bank Finance

I have applied for Emirates Islamic Bank finance based on their agent false promises of clearing off loan amount as soon as receipt of salary transfer. But even providing all original pre-requisites to agent and salary credit on 27 Aug 2023, around 35000AED is still under hold by bank for no reasons. Multiple calls to customer care Centre is futile and of no help at all. I can share more details on request.

Emirates Islamic Bank Emirates Islamic Card

In Dec2022, when i left UAE after cancelling my residence visa. I cleared all statement dues. Credit card i tried to cancelled but bankhas not cancelled my card and i blocked my card in the app. This card was life time free membership card. Since blocked my card so there was no card on my name in emirates bank online portal.

From Jan2023 to April2024, I have not received any communication, statement or text message for my credit card. Since i was alrady blocked though i was life time card so i did not bothered too.

In may2023, i got a statement having 500 AED charges due on my credit card.

When i contact to bank, they have informed me that this is annual membership fees. when i said this was life time free card how membership chraged to me.

Response was since you are not using there will be membership fee on you. Even there is no card in the app and card is blocked in system.

When i am trying to reach to bank, there are helpless. A representatice from bank on the bank try to black mail me, we can only waive these member ship fees if you activate this card and commit to use 20000 aed in 3 months. This is such a pathetic service i have never seen from any bank in my life. Please do not use this bank any service at all who black mail people.

Desired outcome: Block my card and waive off amount and return my deducted money to my emirates nbd bank.

Emirates Islamic Bank Credit card payment

Consider this message as an escalation to customer care management, I'm reporting the improfessional customer care process and staff handling the credit card payment, I'm getting daily calls and emails instructing to make the credit card due amount of the month of Mar (around 45 AED) was not paid as I was outside the country which is already part of April statement due on 4 May and late payment charged already. Keeping in mind that I'm committed of all payment dues fully since Mar 2022, it is a damage to my credentials to temporarily block the card and chasing your values customer that improfessional way.

Emirates Islamic Bank Emirates islamic current account charges

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Zaid bin Afzal working in Dubai since 2015. The company namely Dubai Walls Construction I was working from January 2018 to May 2018 opened salary account for me to transfer the salary. In May 2018 I lost the job went back to my home country and later found another job and joined another company namely Highstar contracting in 2018 and the company opened my account in ADCB bank for the transfer of salary and since now I am using the same account. Last week, I applied for credit card from Emirates Islamic Bank and yesterday I received the card. I downloaded the app of Emirates islamic and tried to login through this credit card and to my surprise I saw that the account is still active and is showing -1532.12AED balance. As the account was current salary account, how the bank can charge this much amount. The number +971-[protected] was registered with the bank when my previous company opened the account and still now using the same number. I never received any message from them. I request you to kindly intervene and waive off my charges. Today on 21st January 2023 I visited the branch they told me we can raise the waiver of 500aed. But how can I pay balance 1032.12AED. I request the bank to kindly waive the full amount and will ensure to use the account and will be responsible for the charges if any in future.

Emirates Islamic Bank Internet Banking Login

Reference : Account Number [protected] Opus Steel Construction LLC

Please note below the series of events:

• We Applied for Business Banking on 03 July 2022 in Emirates Islamic Bank Emirates tower branch

• We have been told that within a week we will get our Internet banking credential activated.

• After applying we followed up with staff but didn’t receive internet banking credentials, after rigorous follow up we received response from Mr. Kashif Griffen they told us to provide a set of documents and contact with Relationship Manager Mr. Abdel Rahman.

• We followed up with Mr. Abdul Rahman they told us to submit documents, as per there instruction we submitted documents on 17th August 2022.

• After submission we did not receive any communication for Internet banking activation / document status.

• Despite several follow-up throughout last 3 months our matter still remain unresolved.

After putting so much efforts the matter is still pending and we are unable to access online banking in EIB.

This is impacting our business and payment follow ups.

We request your support in resolving above as quickly as possible.

Looking forward for your urgent action on this regard

i have deposited the amount of 5140 AED from the machine number E8001157 dated 17/07/2022 with reference number E8001157221989892 but till now not at deposited. my humble request to bank for the further process.

Emirates Islamic Bank Credit card

This is to bring in Your knowledge that my cash back credit card was given to me as per lifetime waiver on annual fee. Kindly reverse the annual charges which has been hitted along with late payment fee.The same had been hitted last year and reversed.

Plz note i dint received any intimation neither phone not email regarding paid card.

Emirates Islamic Bank Credit 3

To whom Concern,

This regarding my request for credit card cancellation, I faced cheating from bank agent who come and convince me to involve on this service with lacks information for the all facts which occurs with me, after 6 month I found there is a fine 600 aed everymonth with other extra deduction for amount approx 800 aed. After all this and to stopped deduction and finish all the negatively which I faced I had to pay my all my money towards close it and I had paid 18,000 aed on 6 march 2022 additional to contact the bank through email and calls and also the cheating agent who convinced me. He is useless and he's name is Amal. I received call on 10 march from credit department confirming its closed. Today 11 march I received email for repeating deduction and outstanding bill?

Acctuly it's was long time for me using emirate islamic bank. And I was satisfied and happy till I involved on this problem which making me very Very sad and disappointed and fade up to be continue on same bank. I facing cheating and I can't find anyone from your side to solve my issue and ism just receiving same repeating redicules words without posive result.

I hope to get the solution urgently to avoid escalation from my side to the higher level.

Emirates Islamic Bank Didn't receive back 50% of the miles used

I have 100000 miles from my Emirates Islamic Etihad Guest Visa Infinite card. I used 88012 miles to book my attached ticket. One of the benefits of this card is to receive back 50% of the miles used to book the ticket, but till now i haven't received back those 50% miles. and it has been almost 1 month since I booked my ticket. I contacted Al Etihad but i received nothing from them.

Emirates Islamic Bank Transfer of funds not sent even after 1 month

I have made an online transaction on 6th Jan, 2022 evening GBP 2,200 to London, UK. Till now the amount has not reached the beneficiary nor returned back to my account. I have made at least 10 to 12 calls and also asked for a tracer. Till now i was debited AED 300+ towards various charges. There is no response on the tracer as well even after one month. The only answer I get from Toll free number is it is under "investigation". I would highly appreciate if an immediate response from Emirates Islamic Bank on my transfer is received.

Emirates Islamic Bank Credit card and loan finance

Good day

I have been a customer for EIB for a few years. I was working for ADNOC and lost my employment in July 2021 at a time when I had a loan and credit cards. Immediately after my end of service benefit was paid up, having received notification from the bank by SMS on 8th September, I immediately contacted the bank to ask for part of the payment to be allocated to the credit cards. I phoned the call centre and I was told that the policy requires that the loan is settled first. My visa was cancelled and I have to travel but am very very hesitant to travel before we have an agreement. I am not a criminal and do not want to appear as such. I am just someone who lost a job at a time when I had loans.

I visited the bank in Abu Dhabi, twice now, and I was advised to contact the collections team. I have been to the collections office twice where I presented my case that I was requesting the bank to clear the credit card so that I do not continue to accumulate arrears when I had no income. I would get the same response and I pleaded with staff there to understand that with my visa cancelled and with me not having prospects to get a job here, it meant if I left the bank would treat me as a criminal. recordings of my discussions with the collections team can be retrieved to hear how desperate I was. As late as Wednesday 13 October, again I went to Dubai to collections department, only to be told the lady I had presented my case to the previous visit, an Assistant Manager Fatima, was not with EIB nut NBD, yet when I presented my case to her she told me she would refer my case to management. Previous other contacts one Mr Adel and Kashif, had repeatedly told me that it was against company policy to close credit card when loan is not paid up. So this last trip I was referred to one Aeesha who I spoke to because she was working from home. She too understood my case and promised to write to management and give me feedback. I am still waiting for feedback.

My request really is that (1) because I do not have income, can credit cards be closed. What is happening now is that I keep accumulating arrears. if these can be closed and I remain with loan then when I get income, I can be paying for the loan (2) I have no income at this stage and with me about to leave, I do not want to be treated like I am running away. For all we know I may get an invitation for a job and I need to travel back and police would have been alerted of my not having paid. My latest communication with the bank were calls today and yesterday where I was promised Aaesha would call me back in response to the email I sent on 14th October again making a request which I started on 12/09 with Kashif. I have not had feedback from bank for over a month, the only feedback I get is it is not within policy.

My problem is if its outside policy that credit card can be cleared with part of EOSB, it means I will have a growing liability on credit cards. I keep getting messages and emails on outstanding credit cards when I do not have income.

I suggest that as you consider this complaint, you refer to the email I sent to Aeesha on 14th October in which I stated everything and also forwarded emails of previous other requests.

I also asked how the insurance I had would be treated and the staffer at collections when I visited told me I should have told the bank within a month of losing my job. I couldnt understand if the insurance was part of the bank. In my email, I attached my termination letter

I am really desperate and need someone to help me. Is the bank choosing to make my situation worse and treat me as a potential criminal or will they not choose that the credit cards be closed and then get up to six months payment for loan and we negotiate payment towards loan.

I would be glad to have feedback. Like I said everyone else keeps telling me the simple answer that policy doesn't allow

I have spoken to just about everyone via call centre and even at Abu Dhabi bank and then actually hired cars to drive to Dubai. I am not getting assistance. I am not sure who I can go to and explain that

(a) I know I owe the bank, but I have no income now
(b) visa is cancelled and I have to exit
(c) When I do I do not want to be regarded as a thief - am just unable to pay
(d) can my liability please be reduced at least by stopping the credit card

Emirates Islamic Bank Credit card fees

I have a frozen credit card since there was a fraud usage. for the last 10 months it has been frozen and the card does not show in my online services or ion the list of my accounts. Few days ago, the bank charges me annual fees for a card that I don't have and not even in my accounts portfolio.
I closed the account with this no REQ-1-[protected]

Emirates Islamic Bank Bank delaying solution and stopping me from starting new job

This is to Emirates Islamic Bank, you have opened case against me and not knowing when I am unemployed and I contact with your agents and paying my dues, as possibly as I did.
You have demanded I pay certain amount and I did on the same time, but now why does it take for you to remove the case which is now almost 3 weeks and 5 days later you have to tell me there is missing details or signatures when you are supposed to check your paperwork and requirements, I have said I am running out of time who ever lost their job only knows what it means to get a job at this time and for you to even take that chance away from me, with unorganised way of working, service, atleast the agent who is taking care of my account has been supportive but how can you miss or not understand when my situation is critical.
Am so disappointed with their way of working, when it comes to making the payments they have to call thousands times but when it comes back to the service we requires no one cares,
You can do better. For someone who worked in customer services management for years it shocks me and disappointing too.

Desired outcome: Police case to be removed as urgent as possible as I have paid all ,its the bank taking my time and stopping me from joining the new company.

Emirates Islamic Bank Personal loan and settlements

The case [protected]) has been escalated for almost 10 days now, why is it taken so long? Eib is the leading uae rerportable bank and services are well recognized, so how can you not close one loan settlement request that has been pending for the last 10 days?

Why am I paying unnecessary interest to the bank? I've been serving since the first day I had an account and a loan from eib. No one in the bank supports  and fake promising by bank sale rep when takeing loan and its almost one year now 25.5k is still on hold.

I will take this matter to the high platfrom, or it may be publicly published.

Emirates Islamic Bank Account Closure

Hope you can help me sort my issue that's been ongoing for the last 6-8 months.

I have a POA for a corporate account that needs to be closed. Unfortunately the POA does not give me rights to close the account, however, the POA does give me the right to act on behalf of the account holder. I also do have an account closure letter on original letterhead, signed and stamped by the account holder. This combined with the POA, should be enough for me to close the account. But no one seems to want to help..

How can this be? there has to be a way? The account holder is not in town and as you are aware in the current situation traveling is not what it used to be. I have expressed this on all 6 visits to the branch. I really do not know what else I need to do to get this account closed. The account is being charged minimum balance chargers which was to be waived in August! Everyone refuses to help me out, hope whoever reads this can help sort this out.

Emirates Islamic Bank Credit shield

I have been charged Credit Shield on my infinite credit card for the past 5mths. I do not have any recollection of signing up to an insurance scheme when i joined Emirates Islamic Bank. Therefore i had no knowledge of this service or the requirement from the Bank, that i am responsible for cancelling such service.

I have contacted the call centre who clearly did not understand my confusion and frustration to the following fees, charged to my account:

15/09 - 84.62 aed
15/10 - 113.66 aed
15/11 - 624.02 aed
15/12 293.77 aed
15/01 - 229.96 aed

I was seriously considering moving my salary and bank accounts to Emirates Islamic bank due to the good service i received to date. However when i contacted the call centre and i was told that this is not the Bank's fault, i stated i would lay a formal complaint as i find charging fees to a customer without any formal ackowledgement of the service to the customer highly unethical banking practice. I am requesting that all related fees are credited back to my account.

Emirates Islamic Bank Account balance vanished

My name is Adeeb Anees,

I had a balance of 5000 AED in my account by 22 Nov 2020 and now it's showing Minus 5 AED, please explain where did the finds go as I haven't made any spends or transfers and I have all the statements etc for proof, I'm currently in India so would request your to email my as call doesn't get connected, My bank account number is AE920340003708239412701, I hope Emirates Islamic can solve my issue at the earliest

Emirates Islamic Bank Personal loan

Good day,

I have a finance personal loan with you and the outstanding amount is AED:12, 808.00.

For that amount emirates islamic has holded my end of benefit amount AED:15, 800.00

Today I received a message saying that 12, 982.00 AED is deducted for finance settlement.

To be clear Emirates islamic have not deducted my balance from the holded amount instead emirates islamic deducted from my main account balance.

I have not been informed about this nor by mail, nor by call or by message in my registered mobile number or email id

I have received only one message saying that my end of service amount has been holded and some one from customer service will contact me.

Till today (11/11/2020) I haven't received any calls related to this matter.

I have given one of my cheque which needs to be cleared by tomorrow. With out any prior information Emirates islamic deducted my money from the main balance which is showing in negative.

I have proof of not receiving my call in my call history and also I will have take the statement from my service provider for further proof.

If the cheque is not cleared or bounced I will be in big trouble. Emirates islamic is completely responsible for all my sufferings regarding this issue of not informing me before deducting my amount. Emirate islamic has the rights to deduct my financial amount from my holded amount and release the balance. But money from my available balance is deducted and till now (11/11/2020 5.27pm) my holded amount is not released.

Emirates Islamic Bank Miscalculation in loan payment but no response from bank/concerned account manager

I have a personal finance with emirates Islamic bank for four years, All were good until July 2020.I completed all my EMI payment on October 2020 and I wanted to close my loan. But when I checked my last statement it is showing 2 EMI is pending plus late payment fees. Then I went through my statement I found out one payment is not reflected in the month of July statement (Luckily I kept the receipt of payment) and they charged AED 200 as late payment fee for the sam. So I called customer care they advised me to visit any branch to solve the issue, So I visited their branch, But the customer executive asked me to call collection department as he is helpless to solve the same. Then I called collection department but they are telling that your account manager will give you a call back today to discuss this issue, But no calls from account manager as I requested multiple times for call back, Later I visited the branch and explained him that collection team is not responding for my query. So he advised me to visit Tanfeeth branch(Collection and recoveries in Nad al Shiba). Customer executive from Tanfeeth advised me to contact collection department. I told her that I am trying to reach them for the last one month but no response. Then as I requested she provided me my account manager name and direct number so I can speak to her directly and solve this problem. Since that day I am calling the same number and no response yet. So I called collection department again now they asking me to visit the branch again. I know branch team would advise me to visit Tanfeeth or call collection department and this process continues...
