not responding to requests to cancel booking
I currently have a hotel booking which is free to cancel until 19th October. For over two weeks I have been emailing and messaging trying to cancel because I lost my flights due to Thomas Cook going bust. They will not respond to my emails or messages. I have tried to call and it's just a voicemail no matter what option you choose - the message says, ‘go to the website.' The website isn't manned. No one is responding. They owe me £1500 and I can't cancel or get my money back. I don't know where to turn! It's a complete farse.

But on 8th april they asked to pay room rent of rs 8786/- and paid through my credit card on oyo rooms gurgaon in account was debited.
Please investigate and payback the amount paid as advance in elvoline account of rs 11766.72

Absolute crooks. Booked Travelodge Inn & Suites in Kissimmee, FL on [protected] they deducted the money from my account. They then sent me to a page stating they did not actually have that room. Called their customer support number, was told that there was only a single person working there, and he refused to help. I asked to speak to a manager, was told the manager was only in on mondays, and he would not help me either. He then stated the money would be refunded to me when their system felt like doing so, it has not been, at all. Called PayPal and was told I had to wait 7-10 days before escalating it to a fraud claim. Had to go to my card issuer to resolve. This is a criminal operation, period.

I don't what I was thinking when I decided to give them a shot. I know about booking.com, expedia etc etc, so I have no idea why I chose this piece of crap.
I wanted to book a room, they pretend they did it, and then just took my money and disappeared. When I arrived at the hotel, they said that there was no reservation at all and that they don't work with the website called Elvoline.
