Einstein Bros stole $11.89 from me. Let it go you say? Yes, I would...except! They have known about the online ordering issue for WEEKS and have not either fixed it, or shut it down to fix it. Instead, there is many, many people out there getting ripped off from Einstein.

The story is, on Oct 7th I was in the area and was craving a bagel sandwich. I ordered online for a pick up at the Braker location. It immediately gave me an error. I went and checked my bank and the money was on hold, so I was hoping it went through. I went up to the cashier and she said no, they didn't have it and another worker said "oh yeah, the mobile order doesn't work". Immediately the customer behind me stated this same thing had happened to him weeks ago and he will never use the mobile ordering again. He said it took over a week to get his money back, and his was over $50! I asked the workers what I was supposed to do, they told me to contact corporate and I would get a refund. So I left, very upset. There is no way to call corporate. They only use email which take 3-5 days for a response. Not customer friendly!

So they reach out to me today, Oct 10th (Monday was a holiday), and stated they were having a hard time finding the order and could I verify some information (store I ordered from, picture of my bank statement) which I provided. They then came back and asked if I was sure it was this store and what did I order. I provided that, then told them to go ahead and keep the money. I was done with the emailing back and forth. Pick up the phone and have a conversation with me!

They have a known issue that they are not fixing or letting customers know about. I saw another review on another sight where the person said Einstein was refusing to give her money back! This is theft! Straight up theft.

I learned my $12 lesson. Never go to Einstein Bros but if you must, do NOT use the mobile ordering theft system.

I received an email from Einstein bagels for a $2 off coupon for any egg sandwich and I couldn’t use the coupon or get the discount on the App or at the store?!

I was late for my daughter’s school trying to figure it out. I am very frustrated with how your customer service deals with stuff like that; you couldn’t just have the store employee refund me the $2?!

The locations in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho locations still have their indoor dining closed. All that the staff says is that "Oh Corporate wants us closed for indoor dining but we don't know anything else." When I tried to reach out to Customer Service via their service form 3 times now nobody has responded as to WHY they still have indoor dining closed. All the businesses around these locations have indoor dining open. I would like to know why they're still closed for indoor dining and when they plan on opening. A lot of customers are going to other locations as they prefer to dine in.

On Tuesday (yesterday) I went down to the Central/Tramway location in Albq. only to find it closed. Never an explanation for why. I was there at 6:45. This has been going on for almost a year where the 19 year old manager does not open the store at 6 like the sign says. Once or twice a month every month is closed until 6:30-7:30. I do plan on calling about this since complaints by email are ignored.

Hopefully I am wrong but I am assuming you don't care because it has gone on for almost a year. You don't even pretend to care.

I've been recently informed by my local store that you guys have discontinued the smoked salmon shmear. I've had this for as long as I can remember (20+ years) and even when I worked there through high school. I was told that it was discontinued due to a lack of popularity, but many people do actually love that flavor. Please bring it back! Ironically, it's one of the only reasons I visited Einstein's as much as I have.

Today at 7am I completed my web order (110075) as I walked into the store (#3105, Farmington Hills Mi) where I stood in line with about 6 in front of me. Eventually I made it to the counter where I said I have a web order and the store manager (young, slim) said the other man #2 was working on it (older heavy set). I said I have a special request (thintastic, double toasted, no cheese) and he said they prepare my order every day (not quite that often) but he said the other guy (#2) was working on it. As i waited, I saw 5 people behind me put there order in and leave. Eventually I received my order but it was wrong (not toasted). So two problems: why did they delay making my web order even holding it up for people after me and the guy #2 would not stop and talk to me, he had been rude before, not wanting to stop for just a minute if I have a question. Even though this location shows up on the app and is said to accept mobile payments they do not. I have left my card at home and this was the only way for me to pay for food to be able to eat. It is sad how even though the app says the mobile payment would be accepted the location does not accept it. Simply bad on the part of the company.

I went to Wednesday's bagels at 2:12 PM on Saturday, June 15, 2019. The store number is 2081. The address is 530 E. McDowell Road number 111 phone number is 602-262-4202. My complaint is against a woman that they are named Amy. I walked in the store with just my keys in my cell phone and bought $12.04 worth of bagels and handed her $15 cash and she never gave me my change back. I asked her to check the cameras and she would not do that. I Asked for a manager and she would not give me the information. This woman not only took my money but was extremely rude to me when I questioned her on where the money could've gone because I did not leave the cash register at all.

Staff playing around, order wrong, out of coffee. Unprofessional and did not care when complaint was brought to supervisors attention.
Missing items is order, poor quality in order, unclean dining area and they weren't busy upon arrival. Many staff playing and joking around. Talked to management& still wrong

My wife and I have been going to Einstein Bros Bagels 3-5 times per week, but that will end unless I get some positive feedback from them. First, several months ago they discontinued the blueberry cream cheese schmear. I was told that they changed suppliers and they did not carry that. Very disappointing. Now this past week they discontinued making potato bagels and cranberry bagels. I have not been given an explanation for these decisions. These bagels and schmear have been the ones that I have routinely ordered. Now they are gone and they have not been replaced by any other flavors. It makes no sense to shorten the list of choices that a customer can make. Please respond. Thank you.

Worst Customer Service! This morning I stopped by Einstein's on my way to work. This is not a new location for me to go to, however I encountered a new employee who was the manager, (Jerry), who took my order. I ordered bagels + cream cheese, + coffee refill to go. I had noticed an email or some promo I received for a free hash brown, so asked for that as well. I looked in my bag and did not see the hash brown so I asked what happened to the hash brown I ordered. The manger, (Jerry) said you have to find the promo. I had 20 promos on my phone via email, and could not find that one quickly, so I said never mind. He should have offered to add it to my order for $1, which is posted on your menu, but he did nothing to help. Meanwhile, Einstein's lost the opportunity for a customer to sample one of your newest menu items. I filled up my coffee cup and immediately noticed the coffee was NOT hot at all, in fact it was lukewarm at best. I mentioned it to Jerry, who seemed to ignore me, so I told him for the second time. He walked away without saying anything. I asked the cashier where he went, and what his name was. He came back out from the back, and said, "well the thermometer says it hot. I said, but it's not. He continued to ignore me. I guess I was expecting him to offer me another cup, or apologize, or something other than ignore me. Out of frustration, I poured some coffee across my hand and said, "look I couldn't do this if it was hot"! He said, I have no idea what the point of that was. I went to look at his name badge and told him I didn't know who he was, but I didn't like him. He said, "have a nice day". This man needs training in customer service. There is a Brooklyn Bagel right across the street, and a Starbucks next door, I certainly don't need to go to Einsteins!
