Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir Delayed Baggage, No response to emails, terrible flight delays

I'm having a horrible experience trying to locate my baggage after having been informed that this did not arrive with me at the airport I landed. No update whatsoever about whether or not it even made it to the first flight or was just left behind when catching up to the connecting flight from Cairo. There were incredibly long delays on all flights and had to literally run to catch connecting flights both on the way to my destination and return. I have emailed the airline, baggage handling company, left a message on the WorldTracer website but no luck. Can someone please assist in this matter?

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir Tickets’ refund haven’t been fully done

, I’m submitted two online refunds:

- One for my personal Ticket no. -> [protected] Name: [protected], the Online refund request done on 08/12/2021, Ticket price £732.

- Family members Tickets [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], Online refund request done on 08/12/2021. Ticket price £1572.28.

- I have only received £648.97 on 06/05/2022.

- Egyptair insisted that the the whole tickets have been all refunded ,without giving a single proof for the amount refunded and which tickets have been refunded, and they asked me to check with my bank ! My bank ,HSBC-UK ,has confirmed that only £ 648.97 has been credited to my account on 06/05/2022.

- Attached screenshot of part of my credit card balance showed the only amount refunded.

- I’m expecting you are deeply investigating this issue

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir Lost baggage

Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like you kindly to proceed with my claim of my lost suitcase. I am claiming compensation under Montreal Convention for the delay and financial loss of my bag. I have reported my bag missing after our arrival by EA (flight number MS 0777) at London Heathrow airport at 14:11 pm, on 03/01/2022. The claim reference number is AHL LHRMS16339. The estimated amount of money for my total loss of belongings (including the Elle suitcase) is £4750, adding to that the frustration, anger and inconvenience that happened due to the delay and loss which is priceless. Please let me know if you need full details list of my lost items. I am submitting some receipts of my expenses which I have received so far, as other orders are still under process. Those expenses I was forced to buy due to my clothing, essentials, and children's stuff being lost. Can you please process my request as soon as possible to prevent any further hardship may occur.

I respectfully request to inform you that my wife travelled with your airline from Abuja Airport - Nigeria on 5 August 2022 and arrived at the London Heathrow Airport on 6 August 2022 via Cairo. She discovered one of her luggage was missing, she reported the missing luggage to your staff at Heathrow, she was subsequently given a Luggage claim reference number as shown above. I kindly request to know the current status of her luggage please. The missing luggage has caused her so much discomfort particularly when she was reassured that the luggage will arrive her destination (5 Kyloe Villas, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE5 4AT) by Monday, 08/08/2022. Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir Refund and compensation

I had the following trip booked:
1) YYZ to CAI MS996 on Dec 2nd (4 passengers)
2) CAI to YYZ Lufthansa flight (1 person on Dec 5th)
3) YYZ to CAI Lufthansa flight (1 person on Dec 17th)
4) CAI to YYZ MS995 on Jan 2nd (4 passengers)

On Nov 30th, Canada added a new testing requirement on all flights from Egypt to Canada.
On Dec 1st, EgyptAir cancelled our MS996 flight. This is one day before our departure date, with no explanations, no alternatives and no answer to any calls.

This cancellation from EgyptAir is purely for commercial reasons because flights from Canada to Egypt are still operational, have no new restrictions and/or new COVID testing requirements.

Because of this cancellation:
1) My other Lufthansa trips have been missed.
2) I have missed critical meetings at Egypt on Dec 4th
3) I will miss other critical meeting between Dec 17th and Dec 31st

So, I would like to formally request:
1) Full refund for MS996/MS995 cancelled trips.
2) Compensation, as per section 17 of the APPR regulations, from EgyptAir for the missed Lufthansa trips (which are still operational)
3) If possible, compensation for the missed critical meetings

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir Refund not initiated from 6 months after flight cancellation

I booked my air ticket on April 5 2021 (booking Ref: LI7WHT, TICKET NUMBER:ETKT 077-[protected]), for 10th June 2021 from Jeddah to Toronto (round-trip) but my flight of 10th June (22:00 pm) was rescheduled to 11th June 22:00 and also my flight from Cairo to Toronto was canceled, which changed my mind to re-plan my whole trip. I applied for online refund but its now over 6 months still my amount is not received. I communicated many times to EgyptAir's but not getting any concerned response. I shall be thankful to have a proper justification for my refund. I need to answer whether I will get refund?

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir No response to refund requests

My Cairo to London flight was changed at short notice and not a suitable change for me for my connection. I visited the Egyptair office in Hurghada who were unable to find me an alternate flight as they were fully booked. The agent told me to request a refund via the website for the flight not used and cancelled it. I found a flight via a third party website on the same flight I asked the agent about for almost £1000, I had no option but to book this and travel. I am requesting a refund of my original flight which was less than £200 as advised by the EgyptAir representitive in the office. I tried calling several times, emailed the correct department along with many of the wrong ones, finally I got a response via twitter they apologised for the delay and gave me an email address to write to...Which I did in June, today is 25 November and as I write I am currently on hold for the 56th minute and not hopeful at all.

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir Loss one of my bags

I have lost my bag on 16th May when I was travelling to Dubai, Report (PIR) # AHL DXBMS56163.
I have sent many emails from that time and made many calls and I didn't receive any positive response and customer service and feedback stopped to answer my emails!
Is this the right way to handle customers in Egypt Air?!

Desired outcome: To find the lost bag.

My baggage was delayed in February 19th2020 from Muritala entourage Cairo to JFK which was later found but I was told they are going to pay for delay in my baggage, was asked to provide details concerning all I purchased in the course of waiting for my luggage and they promised their insurance company will pay me my delay claims until now have nit heard from them. I have booked on line with Egyptair and everything was confirmed and I received the confirmtion, however, three hours later they cancelled my reservation. This is the least to expect, but unfortunately this is typical of Egyptair services. I do not think they should be members of Star Alliance. Egyptair has an outdated online and wen site services costing clients tome and money.

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir egypt air line service at the airport when getting the boarding pass

Hey u always fly but never got treated so bad only for EgyptAir. Customer service at the airport are so bad. I ama an American and I have every right to travel, but because it said on my passport born in Yemen I get treated like Ana animal by your staff. This is my second time and always get treated bad and worse it never got better. They keep telling me I can't travel to Egypt I needs visa. I tell them that I am a citizen of the United States and I will buy visa at the airport in Egypt. But no help they keep giving me hard time to the point that I heat Egypt air. And will tell everyone I know not to use it.

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir hotel accommodation and food

Hi Sir/Madame,

I was travelling with my mother from Baghdad to Toronto as on 13 Sept 2019, we have a layover(transit) at Cairo Airport for 19 hours. As my mother have Canadian travelling document therefore the official said they will provide hotel within the Airport.
She said its okay because of she was tired want to rest doesnt want to go out. ( I stayed outside in Hilton hotel provided by Egypt Air and I have no issues).

While my mother was asking to share the room with other unknown passenger, that she refused and the staff was not talking to her in a proper manner and as a result not provided food for 9 hours. She is a diabetic patient and being hungry not providing food and water is against the basic rights. If I am not getting any response from the EgyptAir, I will filing the complaint to Canadian Human Right Commission protecting human rights for all Canadian Citizen and accpeted refugee claiment.

It is certainly a shame to a muslim country to behave like an idiot.

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir flight trip

Greetings
We have bought a round trip flight on Egypt air flight from Guanzhou - Cairo to Addis Ababa Jul 10, 2019, and Addis Ababa - Cairo to Guangzhou Aug 31, 2019 (with e_ ticket no: [protected] and [protected]). The segment from Addis Ababa - Cairo to Guangzhou was scheduled Aug 31, 2019, 4:10 AM, but when we arrived at the bole airport check-in, Egypt airline staff told us your ticket and name not visible on the system and you can ask Egypt Airline Addis Ababa branch and take the next day's flight.
We had to wait more than two days in Addis Ababa to fix the mistake, because of this we spent two days spending money and escaped Guangzhou to Xian domestic flight, and the Egypt Airline Addis Ababa branch wasn't cover our cost, they told us the problem done by Egypt Airline Guangzhou branch staff and you can ask Egypt Airline or Egypt Airline Guangzhou branch about your cost. How can we get airline help?

i have a flight today on Egypt air flight number is ms 791 from cairo to rome in 9.35 but when i arrived to the airport in 7 told me the flight is cancel and you can take the next flight in 1.55 i stay more than 5 hours in airport without any problems for the company there's something i can do with the company or not and the agent's for the company speak with all the people with bad way and say the flight is cancelled you need the next flight itsbok you dont need it there's nothing to do for you

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir flight cancellation (uncommunicated)

I have booked a return flight Brussels-Cairo-Brussels. The segment from Cairo to Brussels was scheduled on 18/05/2019. To our surprise the flight was cancelled and we were scheduled to the flight of the 19/05/2019. We were not contacted in anyway by the airline to inform us of the change nor did it appear on the airline's website. We received the usual links for our online check-in on 17/05/2019 and got our boarding passes to discover the change in the hour of the flight and most importantly the change in the DATE/DAY of the flight. None of the 24/7 numbers were working (1717 or [protected]) and when they finally connected it was an auto message indicating that they are only available between 8am to 8pm (not 24h).

When contacting the airlines and complaining they said we called yet could not provide info on when, who or why did they not leave a voice message, send an email or sms when no one answered the phone, or even have the curtsy of calling again.

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir flight delayed

Today I had I planned flight on EgyptAir from Cairo to Jeddah at 2:15 pm.
What happened was unacceptable at all.
Till 2:30pm (which mean after the planned date for departural) the gate was closed, nobody told as what's happening or why the gate was closed.
And after one more hour we start to see the employees and they told as that the flight will be in the air at 4:30.
The employees were soooo rude and aggressive.
And after all it's 5:30 and we still in the airplane we didn't move yet.
It's totally unacceptable and inconvenience for all the passengers, I am asking how I can raise this issue and how I will be compensate.

July 30, 2018 neither of my two{2} checked bags arrived in egypt with me. One bag tag #aa059281was delayed eight[8] days and arrived on the 8th day. My 2nd bag is still lost. Tag #aa059282. I have evidence that doh caims29062, yoy had my lost luggage on hand 02oct18/0814gmt, tn01 aa059282,. Ct01 pr22xxx, [printed rollar bag[. I humbly demand my entittled compensation of both delayed and lost l uggage and replacement compensation. Its unprofessional to ignore a customer. No one has been fortcoming with me so settle and compensate me for these claims.

وبعدين رجعت CAIMS 72902, نزلت مصر المحروصة على اعظم خطوط في الدنيا في يوم 25ديسمبر 2018 وعملت محضر برقم
المدينة وملأت استمارة التعويض يوم 22/1/2019 وحتى الأن لم اتلقى أي تعويض للأسف اسوأ خطوط في الدنيا

Dear Sir,
I am sorry to fly on Egypt Air. On 25/12/2018 I lost one checked bag in Cairo. I was coming from Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
Then I returned to Madinah on 5/1/2019 .So I filled in the refund form here in Madinah on 22/1/2019. I didn't receive the bag or the refund form up till now. I think the respectable companies don't neglect their customers that way. This will be the worst advertising you do for yourself.

No professional stuffs to deal with our problem or our inquiries.

Vvvv poor dealing, wrote on ur file to call u since 7 am, but here since 8.30 start calling u.
U have to respect any information. Given to your pessenger not just words wrote on paper.

This is my 16th email I sent 15 mail to EgyptAir since 2 am & even no one mail to assure us ir to justify the miss behavior
No reply till now for any of my complain

Need my baggage containing my daughter s books, my new daughter school bag, my brand bags, brand clothes...

What u ll not be able to replace is this ugly dissapointed feeling we had at 1 am yesterday, my daughter was terrified & started crying after all this time when she heard ur polite employee shouting to us
If I have to give u a degree it ll be zero professionalism

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir delayed baggage delivery after flight arrival

on 21 September 2018, my domestic flight on Egypt airlines was arrived from sharm elshiekh city to Cairo on time (1:00 pm)
Flight: MS 456 seat: 33K Name: Ahmed Elsayed
The incident: I had to wait for more than an hour(80 min) to collect my luggage!
(flight time was 50 min only), I and all passengers became very upset and went to luggage office in terminal 3 in Cairo airport for help, but the employer did not do anything and he called the person in charge who was not answering for long time. We asked for the station manager to come to us to tell us what delayed our luggage delivery from the plane so long especially there was no announcement or call to alert us for any delay in our luggage arrival but the manager refused to come!
complete negligence and unprofessionalism behavior, even no apology or response to the customers requests was offered.
we have history full of mistakes from Egypt airlines with no response even when we E-mail them the complaints!
I request apology and compensation from Egypt airlines for the inconvenience and time delay caused by Egypt airlines

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir check-in at counter

Dear sirs,
My 18 year old son was on a Egypt's fight 799 Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018 cai-cdg. Confirmation no. QY66LO

He arrived at the ticket 8:15 am and they kept him there till 9:15 without further notice or explanation.
Obviously, someone on a waiting list had been given his seat.
Now usually the person on the waiting list should be last & not a confirmed ticket.
Kindly enlighten me as clearly as possible.

Egypt Airlines / EgyptAir service/food/damaged luggage

I have been flying Egypt Air since 2013. My United Air Star Alliance #CB546913.
First from Rome to Guangzhou 5 times a year.
Lately Miami to Sharm el Shiekh 4 times a year.
The overall service has gone to hell. I am a wheelchair passenger.
Flight attendants do not offer assistance when boarding USA bound flights, it takes up to one hour to get a chair upon arrival in Cairo, and Sharm.
The food and entertainment is awful! The same entertainment is offered on outbound and inbound flights.
Flight attendants disappear, except during meal service. When I asked for some water, I was treated like I had asked for a kilo of gold.
Upon arrival to Sharm on May 26, one of the wheels on my suitcase was missing. I made a report and I was told to call the Sharm office after one week to get compensation. When I called, I was told it takes 14 working days to be processed. When I called today (the 14th day), I was told I need to wait until the end of June since the paper work was sent late to the insurance company.
When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told there is no one.

The air crafts are old and some parts (seats, sound, lights) do not work.
The service is poor.
Prices have risen 40% over the last several years (they claim rising cost) when the price of oil decreased 50%.
Stay away. Use a USA carrier whenever possible.

I'm a wheelchair passenger too they have totally destroyed my wheelchair coming back from Cairo to London, I'm having extreme problem now with my "damaged baggage" claim I have given them every document they needed for their insurance company & now they are completely ignoring me, this has been going on since March 2018 quite frankly in today's day & age it is appalling how they treat disabled passengers.
The phone number in their emails doesn't exist, they have asked for the same documents over & over again, I've had months without getting around independently as the wheelchair was so damaged I can't use it.
I'm a frequent flyer to Cairo but from now on I'll fly on BA.
