Economy Rent a Car review: renting a car in san jose costa rica 1

Do not rent a vehicle from San Jose airport Costa Rica Economy Rental Car. They firstly did bait and switch, charged us over 3 times what was promised when we booked on line due to their forcing us to get very high liability insurance. Then when we returned the car undamaged and the person who accepted it said it looked fine, 5 weeks later we received an email stating they had charged my credit card over $1300.00 in damage and sent along bogus photos of the rear of the car we rented showing the license plate then other pics with dirt and damage showing. When we returned the car we had a professional full car wash and it was not dented, dirty or damaged. The entire experience has been terrible, they are fraudsters and this is the first time I have ever had a problem with a rental car agency and I have travelled and rented all over the world. This is my first experience with Economy and last. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS OFFICE.
