Ecco extremely rude saleswoman

I asked to try a few shoes at Ecco branch in Galeria shopping mall in St. Petersburg, at the end I decided to think about my purchase and come back again tomorrow if I wanted to buy one. The saleswoman smirked and said something to the other salespeople and pointed her finger at me. I don't know any Russian but I'm pretty sure she said something mean. I asked her if they were open tomorrow she said nothing and turned her back on me. She was the older woman at the shop. I am extremely disappointed at this encounter. I hope this message reaches to her somehow and hopefully, she's fired or at least warned!

The op doesnt know if she might have got the same timepass customer before also thats why she have behaved with her like this

I understand how you feel. I’ve been to the same store at Galeria. I asked to try a pair of shoes and then I asked for a larger size but the woman at the counter kept giving me the stink eye. I’m not certain if this is the same woman but even when I bought the shoes she was kinda rude and didn’t respond to my thank you and good byes.

Ecco discoloration of ecco golf shoes

I owned more than 6 pairs of ECCO shoes. Bought one pair of Golf Shoes online in Dec 2018. It discoloured after a rain and stained the shoes and lace. Complained online and to the ECCO shops but nobody seems to care. Product must be inferior and is probably a norm. Was told by shop attendants that it happened before. Very disappointed that this is ECCO standard and worst still the after sales response to complaints is practically non existent.

Ecco shoes

I notice the hat ECCO is falsely reporting that they are doing everything in their power to resolve the issue of their faulty shoe soles. This is willful misrepresentation of the truth. Despite the obvious defective material used in their shoes (not something the original ECCO soles were guilty of), they continue to hide behind the position that if the warranty period has lapsed, they cannot offer a solution. At least, they should own up and stop misleading customers that they are attempting to resolve the issue!

Ecco not changing a shoes purchased in australia

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a ecco loyal customer for more than 10 years.
Recently, I have purchased three pairs of shoes from ecco Australia from your Brisbane retailer in Carindale shopping centre for my wife and my mom.
Since we moved to New Zealand, I have asked kindly if I would be able to change my mom's shoes in case it doesn't fit. The retailer kindly advised, there is an opportunity to change the shoes in New Zealand as they are ecco's representative. I have checked your website and I was ensured that they are your retailer.

Unfortunately, the shoes I bought for my mom was one size over and I had to change them to a smaller size. Once I visited your New Zealand retailer in Auckland in New Market, they told me they are not part of ecco global and they couldn't help me with changing the shoes I have purchased in Australia.

I seek your help and advise on the above mentioned issue. As a loyal customer I would expect you resolve my purchase problem that I recently have.
Also I recommend you remove your New Zealand retailer from your website as it gets confusing for customer like me.

I have attched my proof of purchse.

Ecco shoes

I bought a pair of Ecco shoes several years ago. I like its model and the leather material of its upper part. For me, its was a special shoes, so I just used it for several special times only. But unfortunately last weekend when I used it on special company event, its soles became apart. The material found so brittle, and couldn't be used anymore. It was very dissappointing. The upper part is still in perfect shape. I don't know whether the soles can be replaced.

Ecco ecco shoes and sandals soles completely disintegrate.

Ecco shoes and sandals soles completely disintegrate. The soles break apart and scatter in my car and home and make marks. I have several pairs and they all are breaking down. In addition, the velcro disintegrates. These shoes self destruct in an airconditioned closet. At $200 a pair I cannot risk buying anymore Ecco shoes. I am so disappointed.

Ecco [protected]

Dear admin,

I'm a regualr customer for ecco, lately I have bought these shoes ( pictures attached ) and the left one is defective and causing an enormous amount of pain that I can't even walk!

I have visited the distributer here in Kuwait and they said you need to leave them with us untill we resolve the matter which will take some time and I shouldn't expect a feedback soon!

It's a $250 shoes !

Ecco poor soles that deteriorate

Hello Ecco employees,
Please pass on the following to the owners and managers of Ecco:
I have purchased several pairs of Ecco shoes and boots over the years, and I have found that you are now using a type of material in the sole that means that the sole of the shoe deteriorates well before the upper part of the shoe. Also, I discovered that, because of the type of sole material used, your products cannot be resoled. Your prices are not cheap. However, you are either acting cheap and cutting corners, or implementing planned obsolescence to make more profit.
I will have to throw yet another pair of shoes in the landfill. The upper part of the shoe is not garbage. I find this very wasteful and anti-environmental. It is also a financial loss I cannot afford.
My shoes are past their warranty date, but it seems to me that good shoes should last longer than 1 year.

Ecco ecco shoes fell apart

I have had my ecco dress shoes for over a year. I rarely dress up. I recently (2 weeks ago) accepted a job where i have to dress business casual, and i write my ecco brand shoes for 2 days. The bottom sole of both shoes completely fell apart. The ecco stamp logo on the bottom is now a huge gaping hole, and the entire heel and across the bottom of both shoes is cracked and torn. I paid a higher price for the ecco brand, thinking they would last me, because i rarely dressed up. Again, i also chose to wear my ecco brand shoes (even though they are over 1 year old, they look brand new since i rarely wore them). After wearing them 2 times, they fall apart, and i find out the warranty is only 1 year. Needless to say, i don't have my receipt for proof of purchase, because ive had them over 1 year.

This is my second complaint. My ecco brand dress shoes both cracked and feel apart at the soles. They, too, left blank chunks all over the floor of the site i work in. I had to leave work, whe i commute from home 45 minutes, one way. I had to leave work, drive home, and change shoes, in the middle of my shift, and 45 minutes back to work. Then, i get online ti find out there are several hundred complaints of the same exact occurrences. And, ecco doesn't honor their shoes, or respond to multiple complaints. Never again will i purchase ecco for myself or my entire family.

Ecco customer service

I sent a pair of ecco shoes for a refund, and I have not received my money back, after questioning them as to why I have not received a refund, I have had no reply to my emails. Shocking service, stealing customers money. I will be taking this further.

Prior to this they had sent me damaged used shoes claiming to be brand new. When asked for an exchange they took over a month to send me another pair. They promised it would be sent amd it didnt appear. I emailed them and they ignored my emails. I then asked for a refund and they have ignored my email again.

Ecco customer service

I have got a pair of Ecco shoes and was told I can only exchange, no return, when I went to the store the second time on the same day for just exchanging to a different size, I was told I had to buy another pair and return the original one since no exchange on Boxing Day. I understand some stores may have different return/exchange policy. But they have not communicated nor put up any signs in the store for that, the store manager treated us in a very rude manner too and used offensive languages, is this the norm for customer service at Ecco store in Canada? I've been to different Ecco stores in other countries but have never been treated like that before.

Ecco im complaining about my ecco shoes

Dear Mam / Sir,

We visted georgia with my family and we walk in Tiblisi and we found the Galleria mall.
I just buy a ECCO shoes located in Galleria Mall in Tiblisi, Georgia just two days ago 14 Dec 2018.
First is i saw the price of 339 Gel which the tag in the display shoes and i took it and they deduct 469 Gel in my card. Then i ask the girl and she said is by mistake the price is 469 Gel.
Since we busy we did not notice the shoes are not pair and i notice only that we are in the Tiblisi Airport because i wear the shoes and they are different model...
Now I know that the price is correct 339 gel because she punch other model.
Now my problem I paid this much of money but for the mistake of other people.
Can ECCO company advise what to do for this shoes can Ichange this in ECCO ahoes Bahrain? See attached picture for your reference.

Ecco biodegradable shoes

Dear Sir / Madam
As this is the 2nd pair of Ecco shoes that the soles have broken down on while sitting in my wardrobe I have learned that if one is needing good shoes then one needs to buy Rockport.
I feel that if Ecco are going to make biodegradable shoes both the upper & lower should be biodegradable. It is annoying when the sole turns to sponge rubber or worse but the uppers are perfectly OK. Also I would think that they should be advertised as biodegradable.
May I be so rude as to suggest that Ecco stop making shoes altogether & go into producing paper towels as it wouldn't matter if they broke down.

I am presently walking the south west coast path. I hoped to go straight on to the south downs way. I previously noticed the biodegradable soles on a pair of my daughters school shoes. Here I sit, atop a hill with the same symptoms on both my boots. They appeared fine before I left home. I guess they are about 5 years old and appeared to have plenty of life in them since I had taken good care of them. Rain is forecast and if the weather comes through my soles I can just as well throw in the towel. What a shame, I have always sworn by ecco for comfort and durability.

Ecco I too no longer buy ecco shoes - they don't last!

I have been buying ECCO shoes since 2001. My favorite shoe was the Seawalker that lasted 8 years with very rough wear. 3 years ago I purchased 4 brand new pair of ECCO shoes and a pair of their winter boots. The shoes had the new Shock Point sole system. After minimal wear (not even enough time to scuff the leather), 3 of the pairs developed a crack/failure around the sole's Shock Point itself. When I went to the ECCO store with the shoes in hand, I was told there was no refund and nothing could be done.

Shame really, as I used to love their shoes. Now I won't waste my money again. Off to Rockport for quality comfort shoes!

Hi Nancy, I have kept only the boots and the Seawalker shoes. Having been told at the ECCO retailer that there was nothing they or I could do, I disposed of the other pairs of shoes. Given that you were receiving complaints from customers, retailers should have been put on notice and customers should have been advised that the shoes should be sent in under extended warranty and, if the soles revealed minimal use, reimbursement or acceptable replacement offered. I kept the Seawalker shoes, with the crack right across the sole to show my friends and colleagues who used to buy ECCO. You're response is clearly not satisfactory. The significance of goodwill, quality and service at the retail level, was something I expected a company like ECCO to understand.

Ecco sole of shoes disintegrating

Dear Sir / Madam.
Having purchased another pair of your shoes about 2 or 3 years ago and living in Spain they are only worn for a very small time during the winter, in was very disappointed to find on returning home after a day out that there were bits of black being left all over the floor. on taking off the shoes i was very surprised to find the heals of the shoes were disintegrating and of course they are no longer fit to go out in. I was wondering if any one else has suffered similar problems or maybe it was due to a poor batch.
Hopefully this information will be of use to in sorting out what must be a problem.

Ecco ecco shoes

I bought a pair of lovely Ecco shoes just a bit more than a year ago and put them in a wardrobe for the moment when my old exactly the same model shoes are no longer wearable. I am a really Ecco lover as I've been buying these shoes over a decade and have so many pair of them. This time I think Ecco made so huge spoilage as the sole of never worn shoes appeared to be completely disintegrating and falling apart in sticky chunks.I think it's not acceptable for such a known company to produce so poor quality soles and I'm so disappointed. Shoes are new, but not wearable anymore. Please see attached photos. As it's been bought more than a year before- no warranty is applicable, as I understand, or prove me wrong. Would like to get my money back or a pair of new shoes.

Ecco ladies shoes

I have a pair of ladies' ECCO slip on shoes that I have used with care because I truly found them extremely comfortable. Unfortunately a few days ago as I exited our car I discovered that the soles have deteriorated. Please refer to the attached photos. I am now concerned about purchasing any other Ecco shoes for fear of the same thing happening again. Has your manufacturing process changed or are you using the same type of material for the soles of your shoes? The cost of repair will outway the benefit. I no longer have the invoice but did purchase the shoes through a Dillard's Department store at the Great Northern Mall, North Olmsted, Ohio

Ecco after care service

OK the golf shoes are 14 months old, but according to a well known local cobbler, the shoes cannot be repaired, due to the material in manufacture, pity about that as the shoes were comfortable and well looked after. Perhaps they were too cheap at £180 ! I have tried for several days to contact ECCO, but no answer, phone and e-mail, perhaps they haven't got a CARE SERVICE.I am happy to pay for the repair, but where do I go, ECCO haven't helped. Perhaps I should buy some shoe glue and have a go myself, then offer my services to ECCO, to keep their customers happy!

Ecco shoes... sole is disintrigrated on both shoes..

I have a pair of Ecco baby-doll type shoes and the sole in both shoes has huge holes...but all around these holes show little or no use. I am upset that the quality I thought was Ecco has disappointed me. I read where there are many people sharing this same problem. Please tell me what I can do to have these shoes replaced.

Ecco shoes

Dear Sirs,
This is a video for the second pair of Ecco Shoes, I only used for a few times and kept it for some occasions,
but i shocked when I saw it like this
Please note that I paid 120 KWD for the two pairs
kindly pay me back my money or give another good pair of a good quality shoes

I bought tow pairs of Ecco Shoes since 4 years, but i didn't used them that much
I kept them at home and now they are totally damaged, attached a video for one of them
- I bought them from Marina Mall- Kuwait

I forget to say that I am using Echo boots with the chock observer since 1988
but it seems the Ecco quality is finished :-(
