I purchased a cb radio from ebay that has an echo board that is completely bad. While doing business with ebay, I noticed some products I purchased and consequently sent back were in disastrous condition yet ebay doesn't concern itself with that problem. I know ebay has a return policy but what if during the pandemic I didn't check the product I purchased for about six months, then I'm stuck with a cb magnum radio that didn't deserve to be sold to anybody cause the echo board is bad and the seller knew it was bad. Just say no to doing business with Ebay. Buy on Amazon or any other selling company's website but not ebay.
Secondly, I was the highest bidder on a second cb radio that I tried to purchase. When the clock ticked down the last second I was the highest bidder, yet ebay gave the radio which is outlawed in the US from selling.

eBay Account suspension - no reason given

11/30 i received a note from ebay that my account was suspended. a week later i have a not it is suspended indefiinitely.
i have purchased two spall items and had positive remarks. placed an item for sale 11/16 - 3 weeks later... suspended for good!

i tried to contact to understand what happened, they just say i "endanger community" without any details and drop chat... what in the world...

if my account was compromised, i have credit card on file - and now i am getting fraudulent charges on my card. this people now put me at risk without giving any explanation. the wort service i ever signed up for.

Desired outcome: i just need to know what happened - they've placed my financial information at risk

eBay Called modify - parts. I reach out to them were they are willing to refund me $80.00 but since that day they have blown me off.

I ordered a very expensive John Deere hood from the company on eBay called MODIFY - PARTS. Once I received the hood there was clearly poor quality. I reach out to them where they were willing to refund me $80.00 to a PayPal account, I requested it be placed back onto the card that I purchased it with. But since that day they have blown me off. Shipped to Ford Crosby.
I am tired of being treated like a chump. They refuse to comply with me anymore. The last communication was at the end of Nov. of 2021.
I feel like I was scammed...I paid over $400.00 for a pile of garbage.

Desired outcome: They left me HIGH AND DRY. I feel like I got scammed.

eBay No Available Support/Customer Care

Hi,

I tried to place an order but I get the message that my account is temporarily locked. It says my account may have been compromised, it was not and I have changed my password just in case and updated my details as they suggest. It offers a link to get help but this link says "Sorry, we are currently experiencing difficulties." This is the message I have been getting for 5 days now! There is no other option to get help or support.

Nowhere on their site is there any option to call, email or anything else to get support. The only option above doesn't work!

eBay 2002 explorer sport heated rear hatch

I've tried to purchase 7 times on the same item by using Ebay credit and even though I have a $500.00 dollar credit line. The purchase will not go through. On several occasions you wouldn't accept my password. So, I changed my password still not accepted. By the way all of the documents you send to me are in Chinese. by the way then you wouldn't accept my email address. Thanks very much. your stupidity astounds me.

eBay website problems affected my ability to comply

1. Listed brand new Burberry scarf with description from Burberry saying it was cashmere. New with tags = $400.
2. Buyer purchased and paid $210.00 then immediately cancelled sale three minutes later.
3. ebay funds on HOLD until I provide proof of shipping and tracking, but I did not yet mail since buyer wanted to cancel.
4. ebay wants my credit card # to refund buyer, only I did not receive funds. Reported problem to Customer Service, who phoned me.
5. Explained issue to buyer, who asked me to phone him (in messages) I did. He says ship anyway. I did.
6. Buyer received scarf and immediately asked for Return "not as described, " which was not true, but I told him to return it. He did.
7. I tried to Refund buyer, but link to add Credit Card on ebay did not load. I use Safari on a iMac Pro. Also did not work on my iphone8. Made multiple attempts, then reported issue to ebay by phone and via online Report Problem. Had an ebay Customer Service Rep phone me on Nov. 26. On hold for 15 minutes while Rep tried to get a hold of Account Services. Explained issue and Acct. person they would issue Refund without taking my Credit Card info. Received email to that affect.
8. Received email from ebay on Nov. 28 that my account was suspended.

NONE of the issues were willful acts of negligence or bad faith on my part.
I have saved every message and email. Check your Customer Service Calls and notes.

eBay placing an ad

Every way that I have found to place an ad (I'm new to this) has you first put up a one line description. Next you are taken to a page where the prompts are meant to help you better describe your item. Problem is, however, that there i no way to exit this and go onto to whatever would be next. I have gotten by this a couple of times but I have no idea how.

I have spent countless hours trying to get past this blockage. I have spent forever on their chat option but never got any meaningful help. It is clear, however, that those people have not recently tried to put up a listing. The last time I tried I absolutely got my point across including where the blockage was. That got me the answer "we can not help you."

Desired outcome: find out how to get around this problem. clearly the people at ebay that I have interacted with have no idea what I am talking about.t

eBay eBay's refund and dispute help is really bad.

I'm a seller on eBay. Buyer started a refund and claimed they received a empty box with no product. I asked the buyer if they could send me a picture of the box and also asked if the box was open at all. A week goes by and no response from buyer. I then filed a dispute against the buyer because clearly something is very fishy. In my entire life I never received a empty box so I took this claim as very suspicious and this is why I opened a dispute. eBay still decided to refund the buyer even though the buyer never responded to my messages and eBay sided with me Not only did I lose money but I lost my product as well!

How do I know this was 95 percent a scammer . This buyer started a return and claimed they had a empty box with no product so I reached out to the buyer for proof with a picture of the box and I asked was the box open at all. They never responded and eBay still refunded this buyer.

Moral of the story eBay takes zero accountability and most of the time doesn't even investigate claims seriously!

eBay scams sellers leading them to believe they will protect them from Canadian Scammers and all international people who commit fraud against its sellers they are liars! Do not sell with EBay unless you want to be taken advantage of in EVERY way possible! I was a customer and sellers for 20 years they are ridiculous Pathetic liars and cheaters!

same thing happened to me, a Canadian seller. I sold an Iphone 13 pro max, ebay showed payment received, advised they are holding buyer's funds until item received, instructed me to print labels and ship. I did. The funds disappeared. Ebay rep advised me that they suspended the buyer's account [true, can't contact Eddy Mendoza in Miami FL anymore], and they went on to say that this cancellation also impacts any transactions in progress, meaning that my payment was also cancelled. The rep went on extoling the virtues of their noble act of protecting the ebay community by weeding out unscrupulous buyers like Eddy, making ebay great again, etc. I interrupted the great speech to paraphrase, "So you're saying ebay stepped in to protect me, from what I wonder, maybe nonpayment? Since it is a broker in the escrow standard framework, and in my case, they protected me from nonpayment by cancelling the payment for me, fantastic! Way to step in an take control of the situation! It's up there with most government policies that have the exact opposite effect to the one intended. Government acts to lower drug prices, they inevitably go way up, improve safety makes the thing more dangerous, etc. I don't want to go off topic. Ebay cancelled my payment after telling me to send the item. Now they refuse to issue the payment." I wish I could laugh. It was sold for $1,300.00 CAD ($1050 USD). Getting nowhere with this. Do I need to go to Judge Judy? (filing a small claim in court will get you invites to all the tv court shows, maybe get noticed by casting agencies and turn this into an accidental career if I was one of those silver lining finders. I'm not.

Try dealing with a Chinese website thought, and ebay seems mild in its abuses.

eBay not delivering on time

Never had a problem with Ebay until now. Purchased Roku TV Nov 8th, 2021 from Ebay seller 'rosapaulino_56' yet to received product or return email from contact listed on Ebay sellers. Today Nov 24th, 2021 was delivery date, I requested refund and still no return email from Ebay seller or Ebay since Nov 8th, 2021 even though I have emailed? I do not understand what's going on here but this has never happened prior to this order. Ebay has always been available until now. The Ebay seller 'rosapaulino_56' has vanished and Ebay seems to not have answers?

eBay This seller blocked me just for messing it if has flaws on documents

Suspicious, not reliable, not enough photos on ads, hide game flaws and blocked anyone from messaging: This seller Leekee_games, I messaged it for the aesthetic condition of a certain game insets and never got a response courtesy. I was eager on buying but I was suspicious, I wanted a reply from it. After I decided to buy anyway then I found that I was blocked from buying by the seller.
Its feedback is not for a trustworthy seller, beware before buying from it.

eBay No protection for sellers

I've sold on eBay for nearly 20 years now. I use to sell with confidence but eBay now values buyers over sellers. The buyers abuse the system, essentially screw over the sellers more frequently than I have ever experienced. No joke, 100% of my listings end with a circus act from the buyers. They demand I do exactly as they say as if the $20 item they bid on (and refused to pay for) also included my soul for their rule. I'm absolutely fed up. You can't even report the buyers. I had harassing emails. Did eBay help? NO. Was I ignored and the person able to get out of the item they bid on because they spontaneously changed their mind minutes after they came in for the kill bid? YES. These buyers need off off of eBay and eBay needs to value sellers once again. Until things change, I will no longer sell on eBay. Or buy.

I am wring in my capacity of consumer of electronic services.

Trader: online platform Ebay.com, Legal entity - eBay S.à. r.l., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg

On 29.07.2021 I have listed an item for sale on the platfor Ebay.com. The item is allominium wheels with listing number: [protected]. The price of the item including delivery is: 623 EUR plus delivery of 96 EUR. The item is my personal thing, I am not a trader.

On 03.10.2021 the item was sold. The client has paid the item and the delivery. Ebay informed me that they will put my money on hold until the client receives the item and confirm that it is as it was described.

On 04.10.2021 I have shipped the item and paid the shipping on my own as I did not receive any payment.

On 13.10.2021 The client has received the packages.

On 14.10.2021 I have send a message asking the buyer if he received the item and if everythign is OK with the shipping - no respond.

On 25.10.2021 I received a message from Ebay asking for a refund to the client as he was not satisfied with the item received. The buyer was saying that the item he received do not fit his W124 (model of Mercedes) or per Ebay clasification "not as described". I have replied that I have clearly stated that the item is original part for W201, in the description I have added also a web link where the client can check the compability, I have added also part number that can be checked for compability. After my message the buyer has changed the clain to other reason.

On 29.10.2021 I have opened a case on Ebay saying that the client have fault pretention.

On 03.11.2021 I have received an email from Ebay that thay can not be sure what exactly is the situation and asked me to accept the return. Accepting return means that I have to pay the shipping cost my self.

I do believe that Ebay did not check the case at all as it was visible that the buyer has ordered a wrong part. Visible of the communication is that he put tyres on the wheels and tried to fix them on a car which means that the item is not in its original condition. Now I have to pay the return costs and receive back an item which is already modified somehow.
I refused to pay the shipping back and Ebay told me that in this case the buyer will keep the item.

I do believe that my right as consumer of services of Ebay are damaged and I claim to receive back the money for the item I sold including the delivery charges or total or 628.54 EUR.

eBay Scam- restricted account

I have had my account with this company since 2016, Ebay is well known for restricting accounts and holding funds on "new" accounts. So just a few weeks ago I decided to delete all my listings that were on a "buy it now" platform I changed it to "auction". These same items had been sitting on their website for over 2 years. After I sold about 15-20 items, I receive a email from Ebay stating that they restricted my account, removed all my listing and I can no longer list anymore items due to "suspicious activity". There was no need to call because again Ebay is well known for weird company practices. I read the email it said after I upload my tracking numbers to verify shipping they will remove the restriction. Well I uploaded the tracking, responded to the email. Restriction still there. Day 2 restriction still there. Day 3 some items delivered restriction still there. Now my items have been shipped, tracking numbers uploaded on their website, 90% of all orders delivered and my account still restricted. I have not heard back from them. I received a email on Sunday 10/31/21 stating now I need to provide proof of purchase. I instantly provided all my receipts within a hour, no response. I waited until today 11/3/21 called them, agent was not helpful. She was not able to assist, did not have a manager to speak with, had no knowledge of where the corporate office was located. I am starting to feel like Ebay has just scammed me. They are randomly holding people money and requesting documents but never acknowledge your documents once sent.

eBay Adult items

So... aside from their poor customer service, management never responding back within 24 to 48 hours, dumbest ebay gift card policy ever of ONLY allowing $1, 500 worth maximum for purchases a month, now they have gotten rid of all their Adult Stock! Why don't they just ask for proof of I.D. instead of banning everything!

One of the reasons I joined E-bay was to be purchase 21+ "adults only" movies and /or toys. It used to make E-bay unique.
