eBay Refund the seller money

I sold some item on EBAY in April 2022. Ebay told me that in order to give my money I have to have a bank account and give them the account number to verify. I called and I told them that I do not want to give them my bank account and to send me a check. They refused to give me a check and they keep sending me an email to give them my bank account numbers otherwise they hold the money until I do. I told them to close my account but they do not want to do that untill I give them my bank account.

Desired outcome: Send me a check with my money, and change policy to send checks.

eBay Poor customer service

I made a sell on Ebay. The check was sent to me. The check cleared sufficient. 21 days later after the funds from the check was received a letter came in the mail stating I owe them from a fraudulent check. That was not my fault the check bounced it was the bank tellor who I asked specifically was the check any good. She replied yes. So therefore the fault in error is on the bank tellor for telling the check was some good.

Desired outcome: $10,000.00

eBay An item that was never sent, buyer was reimbursed and I'm still being harassed by ebay for payment.

I began buying on Ebay in 1999. I was quite happy with this company until 21 years later and that's when they turned into a bad apple.

Around late November of 2020 I sold a board game to a gentleman in San Diego, California. He paid but there was no payment in my Paypal account, therefore I never received the money. It turns out that eBay had withheld the money because at that time they wanted social security numbers from eBay sellers which I will 'never' give them.

To fast forward in the story an eBay representative told me to actually ask the buyer to file a dispute against me even though I hadn't been paid and I had done nothing wrong. This will be the fastest and most successful way of getting his funds back to him.

Eventually the buyer got his money back and I humbly apologized to him and he fully understood where I was coming from.) f course I never sent the item to him and it was an open and shut case. Since this time period I have been harassed over and over and over and over and over again by eBay and according to them and even to this day, I owe them $37.30. The buyer got his money back and like I said I never sent the item.

I've not called eBay on this for a long time but at the last count I think I'd put at least 24 and a half hours of my life into this situation, regarding phone calls, emails, dropped calls from ebay, promised calls back from ebay to getting in touch with the Attorney General's office of California and the Better Business Bureau.

Even eBay employees were disgusted by the way that eBay was handling this situation. Yesterday morning being Monday 5-30-22 I got yet another email saying that Ebay is going to withdraw funds from my bank account. I've spent hours on the phone making sure a stop payment on my bank account was in place due to this ongoing harassment.

I've always paid my bills on time, I've NEVER been in debt and I was brought up with morals, principles and ethics. But this is absolute harassment at its best and I'm tired of dealing with it.

I'm just one person who is going through this and I wonder how many others are going through the same issues or have gone through something similar.

Desired outcome: Just leave me alone and stop harassing me for something that I do not owe you.

UPDATE. After submitting this review, Ebay has now threatened to get a collection agency involved. So in a nutshell Ebay is trying to launder money from me for which I do not owe and on top of that ruin my credit history / score.

This is how this company treats a customer after 21 years!

eBay ebay not protecting buyers. sellers post fake delivery tracking info, ebay says no refund

i purchased an adapter cable on ebay, when shipped i noticed the shipping company was NOT usps, ups, fedex, etc. i asked the seller about this, did not clarify.

the day of the delivery, nothing arrived, usps made their deliveries, UPS drove by, nobody else. i again reached out as there were no updates on the tracking info on the ebay site, seller did not help. when i threatened to file a case, he claimed it was amazon who would deliver this item. strange as i did not see this mentioned anywhere. i called amazon, they said they had no delivery for me.

so, i filed a claim with ebay, got back and answer saying item delivered and they would not issue a refund. no help at all. when i reply to their message i got asked to provide shipper info, but like i told them Bluecare express does not ship, they simply issue fake tracking numbers to sellers like this guy.

beware, the sellers do not state who they use on the listing, all it says is standard shipping. ebay even removed the negative feedback i left. so this scam is fine by them.

Desired outcome: simple, a refund and for others to know about this scam.

eBay Complaint

This company blocked after being withy them for 13 years. In all reality I had an account in 2004 I have been a good customer always sent my stuff sometimes your out of town and state when people buy, from you. Well ebay opens cases on you for being away I have tried to put away when gone... I have to have a shop they hold the mail against you when it shows no movement things are tough now. Not my fault But there is always those customer who comes along and manipulates and blacklist you to get free stuff. Or ask you the same message.. Well you block this individual he creates a fake account and gets ad Abd opens up counterfeit claims eBay assumes, well they were fine before mad because I say get lost who would not.. Or the customer who [censored] to you to go out side the guidelines you say quit messaging me he says no. Ebay very unfairly shut down my account. And to make matters worse unfairly blocked me. But keep emailing after I say the company has done me absolutely wrong to the point of being discriminating ripping me off being corrupt. Say I didnt pay I always do well they say call back because they change things they do not. Most of all ask the company to quit emailing me advertisements if I am going to be treated like a door mat. Then do not text email me after I have asked 20 times with email total harassment

eBay Buyer accused seller of things that were not true. eBay has no protection for sellers and always sides with buyer.

Seller Shipped a complete set of hardcover books to buyer. He claimed he only received 2 and accused seller of scamming him to keep funds. The box was very damaged and books disappeared during shipping. Buyer wrote awful feedback and eBay sided with buyer and seller was given no options to dispute buyers claims and subsequent refund given to buyer.

Desired outcome: eBay to give total funds of $286 to seller

eBay Faux leather studded boots payment

I have been with eBay for about 8 years. Prior to 2021 whenever I had an issue, eBay was very courteous when handling any issues I had as a seller. Checking the reviews, I've seen several that state sellers are not treated fairly in a lot of cases. I myself normally will not try to contact a company for complaints but I feel it is an injustice to all the sellers that provide eBay a conglomerate with all of the money they are receiving with out treating the hands that feed them with respect when it comes to issues.

My problem is simple and a whole lot of money was not even the issue. However its the PRINCIPLE. It started March 4 2022.

I sold an item to a customer, who requested the item to be delivered within 3 to 5 days. It was sent. Days later I received an email from the customer stating that the item never arrived. They then requested a refund. I checked with the Post Office and they stated the package was not showing rcvd at their distribution center. Note I delivered the package to the P. O myself and recvd a tracking number. They gave me a case number stating they will check into it. After several days the buyer still did not receive the package and placed a request to eBay. eBay then contacted me stating they placed my payment on hold and that I needed to refund the customer. I agreed. eBay then took funds from my account to reimburse the customer. At the time I had another sale and they took the funds from that sale to pay the customer back stating I did not have enough funds from my main account so they took the additional from my new sale. ( I asked them why did they not just refund the customer with the money owed to me on hold) They stated they cannot do that and I would have to request refund from Post office because they lost the package.

Later ebay then sent me an e-mail stating the customer received the refund and closed the case. In the meantime the post office took another week and half investigating what happened to the mailed item. After another week they sent an email saying that the package was found and delivered to the customer. I then notified eBay and gave them the tracking number, while inquiring how soon I should recvd refund for my money. They said it would be 3 - to 5 business days. After that time frame passed with no refund, I contacted them again. They said they would check into it. After not hearing back from them I called customer service and was told that eBay cancelled the refund due to the fact one of their agents did not have any notes indicationg the reason for the refund. After checking my notes and transcripts of he calls leading up to them the agen said they were very apologetic for the mishap and I should be recving the refund withinf 7 business days. Guess what? 7 days passed and still no refund. I called again insisting to speak with a supervisor (which they transferred me to another agent who stated they were?) She too read all the notes apologized and stated the refund would be within 24 hrs that was. 4/17/22 Guess what. There was no refund. Called eBay again 4/18/22 They stated they would check into it and then told me they didn't know why someone said it would be within 24 hrs. Refunds takes longer. After arguing with them for 1/2 hr, I finally agreed to waiting another 7 bus days. Guess what. 7 days passed no refund. Called again May 25. Had to explain the whole story to another person they stated was a supervisor, she stated it would be 3-5 business days to receive money to my account or to get a coupon for the amount I was owed. I explained I did not want to have to buy something from eBay with a coupon It was my money and I wanted to use it for inventory for my business. She stated she would do that send me an email confirmation of our conversation as well as confirming the refund will be sent. Guess what. I did not get the email, No one called and the only email I received was from the survey team asking how well did they do? Unbelievable. At this point I know that I am just getting the run around. No one is interested in sending what's due to me as a seller. I have good ratings an have had no issues with them.

I feel that especially during this time when prices are running high on everything, the big companies don't care about smaller businesses. If I don't get the funds back, its a loss, and yes it hurts, but I felt the need to vent.

All know is that karma will prevail.

Desired outcome: I would like to get paid for my sale.

I've been shopping on Ebay &selling on Ebay since Sept 2002, that's 20 years & I've never been screwed all of this time. I have all positive feedbacks at that. I shop carefully & wisely on there. I don't understand why so many people have had so many bad experiences on there . I've read so many negative feedbacks left for sellers & they range from shipping problems to the wrong items or wrong color & so on , it's apparent to me that many of those complaints are from people that just want to complain about anything they can or to just hear themselves complain. I wouldn't want to deal with so many people as buyers have at times. I would put good money on it that most of those kind of complainers are spoiled brats as well. I'm a disabled Vet on a fixed income & if many or all of those people have ever been through what I have they would appreciate life more or all 100% more. Most of all just shop on line with more caution. I do my home work on everything from the product they're selling to feedbacks & from where the seller is selling from & so on. People need to get some smarts about themselves & use some common sense even though it's not as common as it use to be !

eBay Macbook pro 16 inch

The item was never received. I bought this through PayPal on credit. I need to pay monthly. Furthermore, I am disabled and live on less than $1000 a month. My income is under $10,000 a year. I can pay PayPal some money each month. I don't have the computer which I need as I don't have a phone. Not only that, but I can't use my hands and use dictation software to communicate. This is a huge expense for me. Please help, thank you

Desired outcome: I want my money back.

eBay Monoprice walker tracking upaag000000006333864

On or about November 09 2021 I purchased a Monoprice walker. The price was $60.03 and at that time it seemed the cost of delivery was about $24.00 or so.

On the same day I cancelled the order and was given a verbal that the item would be removed from my account - credit card. They did give me a confirmation number but it is missing along with my credit card statement from that time. The item did not arrive within the time that was promised AND by the time it was delivered I thought the item was for somebody else. There was NO information on the package and nobody in this complex knew who it was for. Finally somebody else opened it and asked around if anybody had ordered it - I said I did but had cancelled the order. I have been trying to have it returned since to no avail and assumed it was unreturnable. I put it for sale or "free" on the computer and NOBODY wants it. IN the middle of this I got the bill and they had charged more for the delivery of the item than the item cost. I am asking for a full refund of my purchase including the exchange rate - that the item be taken of my credit card completely. Around $124.00 though I cannot locate that particular credit card statement.

Desired outcome: a refund on my credit card despite the fact that the item was delivered $124.00 or so.

eBay Not paid for item sold on ebay

C $1,300.00, Feb 28, 2022 at 2:33pm EST -- Ship to zip code: [protected]

Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max - 128GB - Sierra Blue (Unlocked) (CA)([protected]) Tracking: [protected] [DHL]

I have the listing, chat transcripts, and any other information you may need.

I listed an iPhone 13 Pro Max for sale on eBay.ca for $1300 CAD, on Feb. 28, 2022 the listing was ended by eBay's automated system and I was advised that Eddy Mendoza of Miami FL had purchased the item. I was then advised by the system that payment had been received and was instructed to print shipping labels and send the item to the buyer. I was notified that eBay was holding the payment until (their estimate) March 15, 2022. I entered DHL tracking numbers March 1st, and shipped the item Next Day Air [upgraded tier of service so the buyer can have it sooner, and I can get paid sooner].

Then things got weird. The item no longer showed payment received, except the tracking number reported "delivered". Instead of sending me the payment, eBay billed me for the final value assessment (which in my opinion is about as kosher as division by zero). Ebay did refund that amount, but I am still out the $1300 plus $30 shipping and packaging materials cost. I have tried exhaustively to work with their capable and courteous support staff, even a supervising manager stepped in (to issue the refund for fees but nothing further).

What I learned from chats with 5 reps: eBay had cancelled the buyer's account for some sort of violation of terms. The so-what part: when they denied-his-service they also cancelled all of his transactions, including the payment to me. One rep was adamant and firm that this was MY mistake, I was the one who entered the paid notification into the system and eBay was totally uninvolved in creating this horror! That took me off guard! Another rep spent 10 totally sincere without-a-hint-of-hipster-sarcasm minutes explaining how these benevolent actions were taken to protect me from the wrongdoing of unscrupulous buyers... [Remember I have transcripts] I paraphrased: eBay protected me from nonpayment and other evils by stopping the payment for my iPhone? To control the situation? To stop further harm? What could Eddy do to me from Miami after he didn't pay I wondered, distracting myself from the horror by entertaining hypothetical game theory scenarios, to keep my cool. Yelling at eBay reps might get them to "protect" me further, god forbid!

The lack of big picture awareness of the staff is exposed with unusual clarity! If would be easy to offer corporate training consultation to them, with the first hand experience and awareness of their points of possible improvement, but my objective is to recover the money I desperately need to put it simply, to pay my rent! I am not sure if you can sense my panic, thinly disguised by the stiff businessy vernacular, but if I did a good job to hide it, FYI I'm nearly in tears.

Desired outcome: $1300 paid. Ebay = "broker" under rules of escrow. Ebay fees are for this alone. FB & CL list items for free to bigger audience.

eBay Motorised Mop for Dyson V7 V8 V10 V11 Vacuum Cleaners with Water Tank #[protected]

Seller yilou-123456 advertised product (Motorised Mop for Dyson V7 V8 V10 V11 Vacuum Cleaners with Water Tank #[protected]) as having (at least) "10 available" but 12 hours later received 'notice' from "brand side" that 'inventory needed to be reassessed' and 'sales were being SUSPENDED' and did I want to wait "1-2 weeks" (delivery at purchase was 3/21/22 - 3/24/22, and this happened on 3/15/22) to receive whatever NEW product seller received. I REPLIED BY EMAIL saying "NO...CANCEL...FULL REFUND" ('bait and switch' was long ago 'outlawed' as was 'false advertisement') but over 12 hours later, ORDER IS STILL NOT CANCELED AND PAYMENT IS NOT REFUNDED! Sales WERE NOT SUSPENDED when I bought the product and allegedly there WAS INVENTORY! This is the SECOND eBay seller who did a 'bait and switch' for a very similar product, but that seller, bestsellyilou, who ESTIMATED DELIVERY [protected] BUT ALSO HAD NO PRODUCT IN INVENTORY and WANTED ME TO WAIT FOR MORE TO ARRIVE FROM CHINA THEN BLAMED MY SHIPPING ADDRESS AS THE REASON FOR CANCELATION OF MY ORDER,,,NOT LACK OF PRODUCT TO SELL/SHIP...of "Replacement Brush Head Or Wand Tube Kits For Dyson V7_8_10_11 Vacuum Cleaner _ eBay - More than 10 Available" DID ACTUALLY cancel the order and put the REFUND into effect...although I won't get MY PAYMENT back for "3-5 days" after.

Desired outcome: Order MUST BE CANCELED and FULL REFUND APPLIED IMMEDIATELY!!!

eBay Men size 8 slipper/fraudulent 7inx5in envelop/fradulent review systems

I"ve used ebay for many years as a buyer. I recently added some selling items to get rid of my stuff. I live in USA.

I recently purchased a slipper from China. The ebay seller in China refused to ship and I left negative review. Immediately the seller sent me daily emails in Chinese (which I don't understand what it says), and changed status to "shipped".

So this seller is one of ebay fraudulent sellers - this seller sends nothing in 7in X5inch envelop (see attached) as post tracking number as if size 9 shoes/slippers were sent. ebay tracking doesn't show weight of shipping, and ebay shows sellers shipped.

Now this seller got angry about negative review that I left. This seller purchased one of my item at night, and immediately leave negative review. then ask for refund. I asked ebay to step in. ebay refused.

This seller still got angry and repeats. Ebay system doesn't work because I blocked this seller, but he is able to repeat. So I asked ebay to step in again. ebay said it would. But instead, ebay removed review that I left instead.

End result? This Chinese seller got my money, did not ship slipper but send empty envelop. I got two negative review from this seller.

So I am asking any of you to appoint a person to follow up. Ebay help is based in Asia and they don't have any intend to work. ebay system has loop hole and it doesn't work.

attached: see identical tracking numbers

Desired outcome: 1. return my money, 2. remove two negative review left by the same fraudulent seller, 3. put back the negative review that I left to this fraudulent seller,4. prohibit this seller to sell any item on ebay

eBay Account suspended/banned indefinitely for no reason-new user

Brand new user. Only a month in or less. Nothing but trouble since i opened up. They upped my listings since they deleted the ones i had for "exceeding limit" prior to. However after they upped my listings and allowed revenue flow, after my 4th listing, and FIRST sale of $100, i got banned PERMANENTLY. No reason just a GENERAL notice of violation and consumer risk/safety whatever notice. No counterfeit items were sold. No spamming. No price gouging. No dropshipping. Everything was secondhand sales that i got at garage sales, facebook marketplace purges, etc. The only thing i can think of is an invoice i sent noting that item won't be sent until payment confirmed...but that's only because i got a notification from EBAY saying i dont have to send it out until payment is confirmed so i just thought to relay that info to the buyer through the invoice. There was also a $1 fee that got bounced back because i opened up a new "business/seller" bank account with my bank so i could file taxes accordingly, so it was empty because it was a new account. But for that, why not just send a warning? It's ONE DOLLAR. Chatted with them and told them i can submit proof of whatever they need and almost all of them just kept going with automated messages and won't tell me why my account has been banned. Some were actually non-robotic but just kept sending me through hoops. Saying i need to get it reviewed and to sign up for a "call back" which was a load of croc. All i would like is for my account to get reinstated. I can't chat anymore as they've deemed my ip address a "bot" so i can't open up a chat with them anymore. Pictures can be provided if necessary. Hopefully someone out there can help. I hesr this has been an ongoing issue with them lately. Any CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS out there I'm going to be joining as they keep charging fees to my bank for something that they deleted themselves without permission and stopped my payment from going through. If i don't find any I'll just look into gathering everyone on all these threads out there & ask if they want to attach themselves to it and send it out to the corresponding Attorney General. A lot of people haven't received their funds. I know they can ban at will but they should implement different procedures before just offing us all for no reason. Even if it means getting in the picture with your item. Idk. Something to prove you're real and not a bot. Also for authentication purposes. They should implement an authentication feature where the seller can pay to have their items authenticated or risk 50/50 chance of item being banned. Good luck everyone✌

Desired outcome: Want my account Re-instated

eBay Would like a refund $1350.00

I listed an antique art nouveau dragon brooch on December 31 2021. It was purchased by Lisa Stockhammer for full price of $1350.00 on January 1 2022.

Per Ebay, I was to secure delivery by requiring a signature confirmation of delivery. Item was delivered and signed for by Lisa Stockhammer on January 10, 2022 at 11:39 AM. I have a copy of the recipients signature from the US Post Office.

On January 11, 2022 Lisa Stockhammer sent me an email stating that she did receive the package but there was nothing in it and that it was ripped.

I told her to open a case with Ebay and I would followup with the post office regarding the issue.

A case was opened by Ebay on January 15, 2022. Case # [protected]

I followed up with the post office for a search request on January 11, 2022.

They stated via e-mail that the item was signed for and delivered.

I provided Ebay with all of the documentation regarding the delivery of the brooch.

On January 20, 2022, I received an e-mail that the case was resolved on my behalf stating that the buyer did receive the item.

No further action was needed.

On February 1, 2022 I received an e-mail that my account would be charged $551.22 for funds that I owe. There was no explanation as to why the funds would be removed from my checking account.

Called Ebay that afternoon 2/1/22 and spoke with a customer service rep named Jenny. She stated that the buyer was reimbursed the entire $1350.00.

She attempted to contact the appeals department regarding this matter but no one was available at the moment. She opened an appeal case while I was on the line.

She stated that I should hear from Ebay in 1-3 days regarding this matter.

I have not heard from them.

I've been selling on ebay for over 22 years. Ebay gives me the option to have a no return policy on buyer remorse return requests. I accept returns if the items are damaged or not as described but if the buyer orders the wrong item or changes their mind I don't accept the return requests. Last Saturday I had a request from a buyer who ordered a LARGE skillet and didn't realize it was so big so wanted to return it. The measurements were clear in the listing so I denied the return request. Since then I've sold a total of 2 items in the last week. I know ebay hides a sellers listings if they feel a seller has done something wrong. I have close to 300 listings up right now and there is no reason my sales have tanked unless they are hidden from being viewed. In ebays own words~~"you will be able to see your listings in search but they won't be visible to buyers". I believe this is what they did to me because I denied the return request for the skillet. Ebay sees the buyers as their bread & butter but it's the sellers who pad ebays pockets. They don't charge a buyer for their purchases~~they take the $$ from the seller. If things don't change soon I'll take my listings down & ebay won't get another dime from me. It's sad they will do this to a seller who has made them a lot of money in over 22 years of selling.
