I have ordered Segway battery from www.battery4segway.com. I have ordered it through website and have provided all my details and card information. The seller has even charged me, but he didn’t provide any emails or information that my ordered battery was shipped. I sent multiple emails, but it was useless. They are liars and thieves, because they have all my contact details and info, but I haven’t even received my order.

Having carefully selected a battery using the correct reference number listed on their website, I ordered a replacement for my laptop in November 2015. Mid Jan 2016 - it took ages for a battery to arrive and when it did it was the wrong one. Since then I have emailed photos of their battery, my battery and my laptop - loads of excuses but no sign of the missing battery or a refund. I have heard every excuse under the sun and come to the conclusion that this is theft. Do not buy from this company - they will rip you off. Payment was sent to: CROSS OCEAN ELECTRONIC CO., LTD. PayPal and Ebay supported this company despite complaints. If anyone fancies ‘outing Ebay or Paypal’ contact me on empowermentcoach@btinternet.com. I bought 2 canon batteries and got a different used broken one sent. EBay should pay.

I bought a battery for a gopro hero on the 8th of July 2018 from CROSS OCEAN ELECTRONIC CO.LTD. I opened a case with paypal(un resolved)STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT.
Although it was only £20, it's the principle that counts.£20 received from countless customers is a lot of money that they are stealing from innocent people and if they weren't based in China, I would report them to Trading Standards and The Inland Revenue.
I will never buy from these [censored] again.

I ordered a camera battery from this company, we did receive the battery but it was second hand and had no charge. Upon trying to return the battery for a refund I was told that I would have to post the goods back to China!

Poor service, poor product - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

If I could add minus stars I would. Ordered a laptop battery from what I thought was a UK company. Turns out i was wrong.
Put a dispute through Pay-pal and all of a sudden they come up with a tracking number with my supposed signature on it, on the day it was 'DELIVERED' i was away and the house was empty and it definitely was NOT my signature and did not even look like my name. I thought i was buying from e-batterys.co.uk, turns out i sent payment to CROSS OCEAN ELECTRONIC CO., LTD somewhere in CHINA. Does not look like i will be getting my money back.
SO PLEASE BEWARE, they may be cheap but when you lose your money and then still have to buy another battery from somewhere it works out very expensive.

Ebattery.co.uk is NOT a UK based company, it has been reported to those who may be able to stop them trading as such, but this may not matter to you. What will matter is that these batteries are replicas, and a guarantee of any amount time is NOT VALID THROUGH EBATTERY.CO.UK because you will not be able to return them if faulty (please check reviews to see how many are faulty). The addresses shown as the returns address in Portsmaouth is fictitious, you will asked to either return your battaries to China (at your cost) or to buy another at a reduced rate, at least until the communication stops from them.
There are many other replica battery companies out there, please use one of them instead

I ordered a battery for my Toshiba laptop. It arrived quickly - and broke down even quicker. It failed to hold the charge longer than 10 minutes. I contacted them for a replacement, was told to return the battery to China - but the original had been delivered from the UK. I was lucky. I'd paid by Paypal and immediately opened a dispute and got my refund. Don't deal with them, they are fakes and conmen.

I have bought a battery for my Acer from eBatterys.co.uk. They told me that delivery will be made the next day. I waited two days and received nothing. I started to worry and checked tracking number. I was shocked. My order was sent to China!

What a bunch of scammers. I ordered a laptop battery from these crooks. The wrong one arrived but they prevaricated, saying it was my mistake even though the advert said the one I ordered was 100% compatible with the laptop. Then they wanted me to return it to China at my expense even though they had made the mistake. Anyone thinking of buying from this site - DON'T touch them if they're giving them away. Incompetent and looking at these reviews, a bunch of crooks

yes i ordered a battery for a dell giving them the voltage of 14.8v, they sent an 11.1v, since Dec15th have been trying to get refund since, been told to send it back to china, Royal mail refused to take it as it was Li-ion. UPS quoted me £71.42 as their cheapest delivery. Again it must have come from a UK depot, but they try to make it impossible to return. Even Paypal say they cannot help.

I have had a similar experience in July 2012. I was in dispute for days awaiting delivery of a battery for my Dell computer and was given false information about tracking and I did not know that it was coming from China. When the battery arrived it did not charge because I discovered it did not have any contacts. The battery was probably used for exhibition purposes. I would be wary of this company as it does not have an address and I believe is insolvent.

I've also ordered from them; knew it was a bit of a risk as previously unknown. Item never arrived, they gave me a postage tracking number that didnt tell me much other than that something had been posted. Seems like a scam after all my experience with them. They offered to repost it but I said I wanted my money back, they ignored me and said they'd already reposted it (and gave another tracking no. with chinese post); still no laptop battery after months. Paid by paypal but you can only open a dispute within 45 days from them, and they kept promising things well past that date.

Have order dell battery from site following their select maker select model pointed to 2 batteries identical shape different MAH so ordered the higher capacity. When battery arrived the screen was unable to open due to extended battery case. Informed seller who accepted no responsibility for their site indicating the wrong battery and giving another battery model number. On site this model was NOT listing as being compatible with the model of Dell computer for which the battery was required. Seller would only supply a Chinese address and NOT a UK one. Seller was trying to make return postage too expense to send Item back. The seller has a UK depot as the received item came from a UK address.I will NOT deal with this company again as totally untrustworthy. They say they are a limited company companies house shows them as dissolved. Dishonest & thieves.

A total nightmare, please avoid them by all means and take your money elsewhere!
I sent in my 1st Segway battery for service with a promise it will be ready in a couple of week on April 2012. As soon as they received my first battery, they said they are out of stock and it will take a few weeks before they them from China, I agreed and waited. I then sent my second operational battery as I thought is a good idea to be checked, making sure it is compatible with my newly refilled battery! I thought it may need a revive service which would cost $150! They contacted me and said the second battery needs a complete refill service for $500 and I agreed. Then they said they have to work on 100 batteries received from a segway distributor and my order may take longer. Then they made excuses that the circuit board in of the batteries is broken and needs replacement, another $100, total price is $1100 so far! Then it took them another 8 weeks to say wait more. Very frustrated and tired, I called them again, they said their techs are testing the batteries, as they do not hold good charge and have to figure out what is the problem! They keep you hanging week by week, as they do not give you final answer to make a decision. After you wait long enough, you think it would worth waiting for the last week, but this goes on and on like a cycle. As I am writing this comment (June 27, 2012), I have yet to receive my poor batteries! I had many dreams for my segway to use it in my vacation time, but all is gone now! With this type of service, I do not know how could they stay in business or survive!

BatteryRefill.com / eBattery ripoff

Sent them a Dell laptop Battery Jan 13, 2010 with check for $84 which cleared Jan. 20. Cost me $9.19 to send it UPS. After several calls in February and March and story about waiting on parts from China, waiting for parts to clear port, doing all kinds of testing and they still can't get it to work, on March 11 I requested my money to be refunded. They said 7-10 days for check to me. I've called several more times about this refund, and its always "boss will take care of it in a day or two" but no refund--it's April 20 now.

Don't send this business anything! I have always been able to get a live person on phone at some point, but they wouldn't let me talk to the "boss" and they didn't fix the battery and they won't send me a refund.

I sent this company $100 and my old Thinkpad battery in October 2008. It sounded like a good way to get a new battery and minimize waste. After 6 months I still had not received my battery so I canceled the order. In April 2009 they said they would "process my refund and send a check in 7-21 days." After calling them over 50 times and being told lie after lie, I finally received my refund check last week. (Dec 2009) My recommendations;

1. Don't ever do business with this company
2. If they owe you a refund, don't stop calling them. Keep good notes of every conversation and just keep calling. It finally worked for me.

They took my money immediately. They never performed any service. They lied and lied and lied and lied and lied about getting the work done and never did it. They say they will refund my money but it has been over 6 months now as they continue to LIE about refunding it. This company is a SCAM. They are THIEVES and LIARS. They are CRIMINALS and should be shut down and the owners jailed for running a CON GAME.

My experience is consistent with the rest on this site. I sent a Compaq laptop battery to be refilled in December, 08. After considerable delay, and a charge of $59, the battery was returned to me in the same condition as when it was sent out (i.e. dead). I sent the battery back and am still waiting for the repair. It's been six months.

Don't waste your time trying to contact the company by phone.

BatteryRefill.com / eBattery Poor work, no refund, no battery

Originally sent a battery to them in August, 2008. After a number of phone calls and e-mails they sent my battery to me in November. It marginally better than when I sent it to them. They gave me an RMA and I returned it. After 2 more months, during which they told me they were waiting for a new parts shipment on at least two occasions, I told them to cancel the order, return my battery and refund my money. They agreed. After 30 days I called back; was told there was no record of cancellation but that they now had cancelled it and would send refund. Since then two more promises of "7-10 days" to process and mail but now, after 8 months, I've just gotten another response to my latest e-mail which is identical to the last response; "7-10 days".

Buy a new battery rather than deal with this company.

Same complaint as four others on this website. Sent money and a lap top battery to be refilled. Never got my battery back or refund. The company doesn't not do customer service at all.

Send a complaint to the CA Attorney General. If he gets enough of them then maybe something will happen.

Purchased a refill service through Ebay. After two months and 4 emails, they have yet to respond or to send my battery. Paypal says that it is after their "magic" 45 day period, so it looks like I'm out $109. Something has happened to this company recently because they provided good service to a friend of mine two years ago. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. THEY ARE CROOKS NOW.

I completely agree... and they're still at it. Apparently there is nothing which anyone will do to stop them. You can complain to everyone you like, but no one will help. I'm kind of surprised someone hasn't driven by and slashed a few tires in their parking lot or shot a few holes through their windows. I know if I lived nearby, that's what I'd do.

I'm surprised there is only one complaint on Complaints Board about eBattery, Inc/batteryrefill.com. Other websites list them by the dozens. There is no question that these people are unscrupulous, unethical, calculating thieves. They stole $89 from me last year, and I went through all the usual means of complaint without success. The BBB was unable to elicit a response, and didn't bother to make a personal visit to the company. I contacted the Ontario, California, police dept. and after getting my hopes up a little, they became unwilling to do anything to help. I then sent a letter with documentaion to the California Attorney General, and found that office unable or unwilling to intervene. What needs to happen is for this sham business to be legally shut down and their assests seized and liquidated to repay as many as possible of the people they've defrauded. In the meantime, are there any victims who live in that area or who will be travelling there who can pay a personal visit and bust some chops, or at least get a feel for how these crooks can continue to operate, and then report back?

I sent a laptop battery in for refill and they (EBattery or BatteryRefill - both the same company) kept it, didn't answer emails, or phone messages. This is a Business Fraud! All '800' numbers are 'temporarily unavailable'.

Please report this to the U.S. Attorney's Office, as they are a complete Fraud.

Horrible company. Held my old battery for several months without processing. Finally sent it back with promise to repay the $89 I paid to have it refilled. Said they would refund, but I have had four months of "our accounting department will be sending out payment shortly" crap. THIEVERY ALERT!

I ordered a battery for my lap top and payed 59.00 to buy a refilled battery. I orderd it on september 6 2008. Every time I call they say "where shiping it tomorrow". after a month of calling I stilol dont have my battery. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. THERE A RIPOFF.

I cannot agree more with all the previous complaints on this company. I did a quick search before sending my battery to be "refilled" and saw one or two complaints and didn't pay any attention figuring they were isolated events... WRONG! This company belongs at the top of the Hall of Shame for providing the WORST customer service as well as the most pathetic attempt at providing a service... After months of waiting and calling and emailing I FINALLY get my battery back and within 2 days the case has cracked open and although it works it is nowhere near the capacity that they claim... not as good as the original OEM Dell battery, even though they claim 30% more capacity B*S*! Anyhow, I chalk the experience up as lesson learned ... pay attention to the feedback before working with an online company and whatever you do STAY AWAY from this company. We can only hope their terrible reputation catches up with them and they are out of business SOON!

I'm sorry I ever started with this company. It took more then a month on the first battery refill. When it arrived it was so poorly put together that the battery would not fit into the battery compartment of the computer. I sent it back to be reassembled this time they claim that the US Postal seized all of the batteries and there was no telling as to when my battery would be released. Eventually after months they bought me a new battery but not before cutting it open and replacing the cells of what was a NEW BATTERY. The battery did not last the 1 year of the company warranty and they gave me a hard time claiming that my warranty started to run not from the time that I got the battery which was months after my first dealing but from the time they claim to of sent it out the first poorly assembled battery which would not slide into my computer. After much fighting they agreed to take the battery back and refill it again. It's been a month now and still waiting. I have nothing at all but lies lies and more lies when I can get thru to them on the phone. They will never ever return a phone call. Every lie is more of the same old same old. They are sending me back the battery. Avoid this company at all costs.

I ordered and sent in my old battery to Battery Refil.com August 12. It is now Nov 7 and still no battery! I have spent 5 or 6 hours waiting on the phone for them to pick up! I did talk to a rep 4 times and each time he gave excuses about shiments and calibration. They also said my order would be shipped with " Urgent priority" 4 times. They never have ever responded to my emails! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
