Dutton Volkswagen Sasolburg unethical behaviour

On 15/02/2019 I bought a VW polo of 2012 model at Dutton Motors at Sasolburg and I was told that the vehicle is serviced and everything is on point. Four months later I noticed that the vehicle shows that sign of a spanner on the dash board that means that the car needs to be serviced and I called Dutton Motors to inform them about that and to explain to them that I was expecting that sign after 15 000 km or after a year of which on my case would be 02/2020 but I was told to bring the vehicle in so that the can reset it. On my arrival at Dutton on 31/05/2019 I asked why the vehicle wasn't serviced as I was told and only the oil has been changed according to the service book and the answer I got was prior to that on 13/07/2017 the vehicle went to major service that's why they only changed oil. I then asked them about the battery because after 3 months driving the very same vehicle I noticed that the original battery that came out with the vehicle I was actually a 2012 battery and every time I start a vehicle I could hear that that battery is finished([censored]ed up). Then decided the very same morning of 31/05/2019 to take to battery center to have it checked and the at the battery center after being checked I was told that that battery needs to be replaced as it has ran it's race and it can't go further anymore. I then asked them to change that old battery for me but the manager of Dutton Motors after momentarily argument we had me and him told me that they won't change it for me because they don't have guaranties on their demo vehicle they are selling. Now my question is, is that allowed and legal? Because my understanding is that before someone buy a car more especially the demos the dealer must make sure that the vehicle is checked for roadworthy, serviced and things like batteries are in good working conditions not old batteries no.

Dutton Volkswagen Sasolburg ba service and maintenance

Sent my car for service but when I collected it, a few days later my car started overheating when I checked there was a part was that was missing and it fell on the fan so the fan could not cool the engine . I took my car in and they told me they have to claim from warranty and they didn't have the part. This part that got damaged by that was a thermostat and water pump. My water coolant due to over heating the liquid boiled out. They say I need to pay for R680 for this water coolant .my car stood there for 4 days and when I collected it the part that caused all of this was still broken and fastened with a salotape when I asked why didn't they fix it they told me that I must have broken it myself they will not be held liable. So in a nutshell, I send my car for service and they break my car and I end up paying for everything due to the BAD MAINTENANCE JOB and the MAINTERMANCE manager was shouting and pointing fingers at me saying I needed to pay for the water coolant as I was refusing to pay for their mistake and bad workmanship that caused 4days inconvenience in my life.

The way they slope to me and my colleague who wanted to intervene, they told him to shut up he had nothing to do with this . I have all the pictures as evidence I need help to challenge DUTTON 'VW SASOLBURG, their staff members also complain about their service department saying most customers complain but do nothing about it to change this behaviour

Dutton Volkswagen Sasolburg vw move up 2017

I bought a car in June, it came as a demo. After I went home I saw that it had a dent on the Burnet, the sales person that sold me the car took the car in and claimed to have fixed it, after a few months, the paint were the dent was fixed came off .I sent my car back to the dealership for repairs the gave me a car to use while they were fixing my car. After a week they were done fixing it, so cause I could not go collect my car at that time they bought to my work place. They car had no petrol wen it came back. They're car that they borrow me had half tank.

Dutton Volkswagen Sasolburg Bad unprofessional service

I drive a 2014 Polo TSI which is under warranty(with 58000km), I had a steering failure on the car which makes its very hard to turn the vehicle.. First thing I did the following morning was to call VW Dutton to explain my ermegency, i took in the car 4 check-up and they ordered the part, I was told to expect a call for fitment in the next 2days..i waited till the 3rd day and decided to call them to check, on the phone I was told to wait a couple of minutes they'll get back to me.. After 2hrs of waiting I drove there to check and found that the part had arrived but they never bothered to call me.. then I asked them to fit the part as I requested when they ordered...The manager tells me that it will take the whole day to fit the steering column and their already busy with other cars, (meaning I must continue driving the car as it is), I must come back on Monday..This is not the first time i'm encountering this with Duttons...I just think theyn't taking African people serious which suprises me Coz we their biggest customers
