They file the case against me due to bounced check,1 Month imprisonment with abstensia. The statement on the Judgement was wrong from name of the Bank, amount, year and date of accusation.

They said that I have bounced check on year 2010 but I'm still don't have Loan with them on that year because I got my loan on year 2013, even the name of the Bank was wrong and the amount of money that they declared. I have already paid with the principal amount but they still not dismiss the case.

I got loan from dunia way back I gave a security cheque as required from them after few weeks they send me a credit card. after a year I paid my loan but apparently not my credit card. 2020 they file a criminal case against me for not paying my card, I paid 5k aed as fine in the police station. I lost my job and I cannot find new one since I have a baby. Just few days collection agency called me about my credit card. This collection agent lots of says that its not their problem if I dont have job that I must look for a job to pay them, I told her that I have a baby that I have to take care and she told me that I should look for nursery giving me advicet so I can look for a job to pay them until she told me that if I have no means to pay I should go home to my country and not stay in the uae that since I am living here it means I have capacity to spend and pay living here. I told her that she harassing me telling me to go home to my country if I dont have means to pay. I just wondered is that fine that they use my security cheque of my loan for my credit card? hope someone can answer me

I wish some one can help me about my Dunia credit card. 2021 Dunia file a case to me in al barsha police station and I paid the police case.after paid someone told me that no need to pay them vbecause already closed my case and credit closed.

Again last year start calling me to paid and I pay again till this year 1 year already and I ask them statement how much my outstanding but can not to provide. The worst is I requested them to remove autodibet in my account but ignore my request.i wish can investigate also this Deem or Dunia.

Kindly cancel this direct debit immediately, I am not able to close my account with MB and charge me with minimum balance charges monthly.

I would like to seek help from any authorities to help us resolve the issues with DUNIA / DEEM finance, one of the biggest loan shark in UAE, milking people even into the smallest amount, harassing anyone including the employers. the third parties who are not being considerate and understand the situation. Said company are earning interest of more than 200% but the way how they stress the borrowers is not reasonable. that's why if anyone could help us that would be a big help to everybody. please we beg you the higher authority to look into this.

I would like to seek help from complaints Board.com; I am suffering so much pressure and getting sick about Dunia Finance Corporation. I took second hand car loan AED26,000 last June 2015 and emergency cash loan of 24,000 AED as my mother has been hospitalized due to heart attack eventually died in the hospital. Didn't miss monthly dues until April 2017, there are instances that salary comes 31st evening of each month and debited on next day. I found out that getting late payment penalties. On May 2017, I lost job due to company retrenchment. I got a new employer month of August, unfortunately after 3 months again I was terminated because I could not met my sales target. Dunia Finance file a case at Ras Al Khaimah Court and I could not renew my car mulkia. I took loan AED15,000/- from 4 fiends to redeem my car. Before I was admitted in the Thumbay Hospital Dunia representative met me to let me sign restructured remaining amount of 37,000AED payable in 10 years of AED1,060/- per month, w/c means I have to pay them 127,200AED in 10 years. I have no choice that time I was sick, because they were threatening me to put in jail. The amount I paid from June 2015 until Dec 2017 the amount of AED78,000 is nothing. I got ill, hypertension etc. and hospitalized in the ICU several times because of these mistakes I did.

During pandemic 2019/2020/2021 no work and I could not pay. Dunia Finance did hired third party collectors from Philippines. Telin Law Office. Those people keeps calling my new employer, harassing me by whatssap and phone calls to get payment. 1 week ago I am receiving call from one of the Dunia Finance New 3rd party collectors, calling me and my employer that they will file case, put me travel ban, jail & etc. I could not rest properly. Im worrying so much. Please help... who ever has the good heart that will find way out for me in this case. I could not afford to lost 1000% of the money hardly earned.

Hi! I have unpaid loan at Dunia, I stop paying them last 2019. Then this AAT business solutions emailed me regarding my balance which is 15k aed. One of them emailed me that they will conduct a preliminary investigations of my financial status together with the police in my home country.

For now I don't have a case. Please helpe what should I do. Thanks

I have been receiving calls after so many emails stating they would file a case.
the last time that happened, a collector came to my previous office humiliated me infront of my colleagues.
now again another guy came to my office after so many calls of insults about me and family.
forcing me to pay the full loan amount even after paying before still asking full amount.
calling my office and talking to accounts and HR just humiliates me and disclosing to people about my loan just embarasses me and humiliates me

I had cancelled my credit card long ago but unfortunately still showing active in credit Al etihad credit beauru .
Since i am planning to take some other bank, kindly remove my credit card active status from the credit card report in order to get good report.

They a rip off they take advantage of car virgins by marking up their prices with up-sales and providing misleading information about the maintenance of their vehicles. Sales floor people r rude and use intimidating, "u need this car more than I need your business" tactics to pressure customers into buying from them. Personally they cars drive like they flipped the mileage. They're inventory is DOA. My folks bought a '15 Hyundai from them and they over exaggerated the performance, maintenance, and interior of the car and sold it to him for 30k. When He returned his vehicle back to the location where he originally purchased it, the body shop did not properly fix whatever mechanical issue that the car was having. After the first week of having his car back in his possession the issue reoccurred causing to have to return the vehicle to the dealership for further repairs.

Patulong namana ko gusy. Since january 2021 hagngng may 2021 din ko nagbayad ng montly loan ko pero ung credit card ko sa knila binbayaran ko naman monthly at 4k nlng ang balance ko. Kwento ko lng maikili kung bkit naisipan kong di nlng sila bayaran. Last year kasi montly parin ako nag babayad khit na nawlan ako ng work ng may 2019 to september 2019 humnigi ako tulong sknila pero gusto nila magbayd parin ako at binayaran konaman sila. Tpos ngayon march 2020 nag paktia ako ng evidence na na qurantine ako for more than 1 month at nakarisib kami ng 2 months half salary pero di prin nila ako inaprovahan sa repayment schedule. Ngayon po natatakot ako kasi panay ang tawag at email nila. 5 months nko di nag babayad. This september 2021 expired na visa ko. Di nko mag rerenew sa compny namin kasi bka matrace ako kasi sbi nila mag file na sila ng case. Pag kakaaalam ko 25k nlng ang utang ko sa dunia. Pa help naman po. Kung ano dapat kong gawin

I paid my loan with you. I don't understand why still I owed you guys 700 AED something. Isn't it enough I am you with too high interest for the past 4 years? Still you will be able to charged me the 700 plus aed and you can provide me the certificate. That's terrible. How you guys can sleep at night giving those people a bad nightmare? Furthermore, you keep on charging me with my credit card and I asked you to stop the extra charges since I don't have a job yet. Please be considerate. I am a good payer. Why don't you understand your customers situation?

Can some one please help me.
I am also deem finance distressed customer.
I took loan in december 2019 of aed 35000 payable amount is aed 48000 over the period of 2 years and security chq they took for aed42000.
My EMI started in january 2020 of aed 2015.
Since them I am paying every month not due date buy every month without missing any installment. They gave me 2 months payment holiday too in august after that also I started paying again in october 2020.
Till april I m done with 14 installments and 10 remaining including current month (may).
I dont have money right now to pay and deem collector constatntly threatning me to file a police case for not paying the current month installment.
Can u plz advice what can they do maximum if I miss 1 installment.
One more thing in october I paid my installment on 15 whereas my due date was 1 and they deposited my cheque on 21 by mistake.
Can they deposit cheque again or they can file case on same bounces chq.
What are the possiblities of civil case.
I got aed 35000 in hand after disbersal amount out of which I have already paid aed 28000 and after reading this thread I got encouragement not to pay further. will they call and send their agent to my home country to threatn my family and after missing how many payments they can put travel ban.
Please if someone have idea if there is a police case in Abu Dhabi can we just pay fine like Dubai.
What are rules in other emirates.

I believe, this is always the story of people scammed by this dunia/deem financial institution. One day there is this middle man who is in great misery of financial crisis, then looking for a loan to solve it. He/she found this hell institution, now out of desperation and without hesitation he needs money immediately. And deem/dunia come into picture as a superhero. With alluring loan offer, no need to discuss indept terms and conditions of the loan. The poor man needs it as soonest possible. These scam team took initiative of the desparity. Then 1 year later, that middleman checked his loan agreement, computed his monthly installment. He borrowed 30, 000 in the beginning. He was so hopeful by the end of the year he will reduce his debt burden by approximately 10, 000 already as he was paying 1, 000 per month. But to his dismayed, he saw and for the whole year of hardwork, only 5, 000 was subtracted and even horrified seeing he will have to pay for the next 3yrs still. By that time he is so heartbroken and devastated. Afterall this months, I have been deliquently paying them. Knowing that their agent and agreement told me opposite of what is happening right at the beginning. They said in "no time you will finjsh your loan." days past he kept on thinking about how he will pay off in one payment so that burden will be gone. Then a pandemic came. He was affected badly by it. Now he was begging dunia/deem to delay paymemt or request restructuring it. But they disregarded his story, company replied after 2 months. And in return threatened him for not paying. He fell sick thinking of such burden. Thinking of a way out. But dunia/deem is not giving a chance. He decided not to pay, not because he wanted not to pay but because he is not capable anymore. Now he paid off 2 and a half years already, but still loan was 28, 000 nothing much difference. He could have paid already half of his loan but its not what is happening. He grew ill and ill because of pandemic. One agent called, the poor man was so sick already, but the agent was still heartless. "may I have exact date when you can pay?" the poor man replied, "I am sorry but can you pls wait until end of the month my family is finding a way out. As I am in bed and not feeling well." then agent replied, "no sir, there nothing like that! You have to pay! Now tell me when you can pay, I will call you back." the poor man answered, "listen mr., I have only missed 1 paymeny from you and I have been paying deligently since first month. I have never been thankful enough to you because of the money you have given me saved my daughter's life. I was goig thru all this hard times, but never did you hear me complain how much money you have taken away from. Seeing my loan account everyday and waiting for the day I have to pay it off. I am forever grateful. And I will never run away to those who lend me to help me in times of need. Just give me this month wait until end. I will pay." the poor man sounded so groggy and weak. And instead the agent replied, "let me tell you this. If until the end of the month you cannot pay we will have you cheque deposited... Blah blah blah so on and so forth". To the poor man's ear, that agent's words were slowly driftig away. As he is grasping his last breathe on that hospital bed.

2months past, the poor man's daughter received a call from his father's phone. Surprised it was unregistered. Voice on the phone: "good afternoon, this * from deem finance, I would like to follow-up about your payments. We will submit your cheque to the police already and you credit score will be affected badly since you did not make your payments with us." there was a tear on his child's eye before making a response. The she said "you know he died mainly because of pneumonia, but it was also because of depression. You people just care about credit score, taking advantage of people's bad times and high interest. How can you sleep at night?"

I dont know how you will be able to subject Dunia/Deem Finance to their own mistakes because of the fact they are ally with Central Bank of the UAE. Should you give complaints or report these Institution it will be to waste to waste I guess. I hope there will be humbled authority to really hear the oppressed ones. They are not runaways or defaulters to start with, if Deem's approach is different than what they are doing as of the moment. They are capable individuals who are willing to pay, but being degraded and threatened pushes the person to do what is beyond his will. At the end of the day, you might say: You DEEMed yourself, Deem Finance. I cannot blame the people if they default their loans with your company. People knows what are their responsibilities in paying their loans, but you are pushing their limits to rebel on paying you back. I guess that is how paying back works. I will to you people the judgement...

As far as I remember regarding my call approval only 3 yrs or 36 months I approved but when I update my account balance as per the customer service they told me it is 48 months to pay that I was shock that its 48 month I tried to ask them I want to listen my approval call but they told me it is not allowed that customer can hear their approval call.. Likewise my loan interst is higher that what I borrowed from dunia, my principal amount is 35000 dirhams but my interest is 40, 600.. Please help me how to settle this issue and now we are facing a pandemic in the world and dunia is forcing me to pay.

I got a loan from Dunia finance 40000 for 3 years now I have pay 2 years and I have some financial issues and couldn't afford to pay it the was charging 2027 per month for 2 years so please any advice?

I have always paid on time and send the copy of payment to their email but when i get the statement, late payment is always there.

Late payment charges includes VAT and it adds to the capital for interest.

So I get late payment charges + VAT

And it take them months to reverse the late payment charges. It's their technique to rip people off.

Hopefully this technique will be investigated by the central bank. Submitted a complaint and hopefully will get an action out of it.
