Check your information before believing those with nothing better to do than bash others. I called both of the governing bodies on this counselor, her licensing board (Oklahoma Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor Board) and her certification body (Employee Assistance Professional Association) to find that she is in good standing. Sounds like to me...the person making these statements could use some counseling!

I have to tell you from a client's perspective...it really doesn't matter. I went to 3 counselors prior to seeing Wenona, and I can tell you that she literally saved my life. I was about to give up. For that, it truly doesn't matter what credentials are behind someone's name anyway, what matters is that that counselor is willing to go the extra mile, makes you feel comfortable enough to open up and talk things out, and is knowledgeable in your area of trouble. I could care less if she had a high school diploma...I do care that she could see past what the other counselors I tried could not. If you need help, I completely recommend her. Her office is comfortable, relaxing, and professional. She is nurturing, confronting, and intelligent.

At the end of the day...she saved my life. What else do I need to say? From a client's standpoint...she is great! From her governing bodies...she is in good standing.

Report is TRUE- Carrington University is a Degree Mill
Thanks for all this info on this counselor but me and my family will not be seeking her or her companies services. I did some checking of my own and Carrington University is listed as a degree mill.

If someone is as 'intelligent' as you or 'she' states, then why the scam of a 'Phony' PHD?

Some people like to try and be something they are not... too many other truly intelligent and reputable individuals out there to see, other than someone like this.

Clarification OK! Lets set this record straight... Carrington University is a Degree Mill
Anyone truly wanting to earn their PhD knows which University to obtain the degree from.
Which University’s degree’s will transfer from State to State with out question. I have a feeling that this Juils person doesn’t exist, what client would know to use the verbiage ‘governing bodies’? I have a feeling the so called ‘Dr.’ herself was attempting to take a crack at redeeming her so called reputation. And since we are on the subject of reputation, her so called peers in the OKC area are very well aware of the fake PhD she is trying to pass.

Wenona Barnes applied for her LMFT at Oklahoma
Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Oklahoma Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Board
    Oklahoma State Dept. of Health
    1000 N.E. 10th Street
    Oklahoma City OK [protected]
    Phone: [protected]
    Fax: [protected]
    Webpage: www.health.ok.gov/program/lpc
She submitted her degree fro Carrington University and when the Oklahoma Licensing Board sent her a letter requesting further information regarding her degree from Carrington University, they never received a response from Mrs. Barnes. This all information that you can verify.

I think it’s extremely important for people who have the shady behaviors in their professional life to be called out on it. Consumers need to be aware of the mass production of the degree mills and how many ‘so called’ professionals in there area are obtaining these degrees and are using them to further their careers and business.

Every complaint board on the internet filled out against Wenona Barnes is from the same evil miserable person, who's life is so miserable that she only gets her enjoyment from trying to ruin other peoples life. This same person has spent DAYS, making new accounts under different names. I wonder how she would like it if someone Aired out her name as well as place of employment? hmmm.

Everything posted about Wenona Barnes being a fake is the absolute truth. She has been reprimanded twice by the Oklahoma Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor Board and is currently on their next agenda for more reprimands. She has no conscience and will ruin people's lives for money. The only people that like her are the people that pay for her services. And, that is simply because she will say whatever it is you want her to say to Courts.
