Overall experience from a breast augmentation was horrible. Appointment times changed at the last minute. Excessive waiting times with no explanation. Doctor could not recall (and did not have notes) of previous visits only days earlier. Incisions made in unorthodox sites and no explanation why - only an apology. Poor surgical outcome. Lack of respect for patient's time and questions. Arrogant attitude. Nova's offer to refund surgeon's fee was an insult. Starting legal proceeedings. Avoid this doctor
Well - you made the correct choice not to use Karlin. Terrible experience both personally and surgically.
Obviously I do not want to say too much about the legal proceedings as the process has just started but I have both excellent legal and medical advice regarding the incident.
Initially a full refund was verbally considered a minimum by Nova before I sought legal advice - but the written offer received was only for the surgeon's fee of $2500 which is ludicrous.
The "doctor" cannot even explain what he did. I wonder if his red face is caused by stress, high BP or meds - perhaps that' s why his technique has slipped.
So - I strongly advise you to avoid Karlin.
And if this is Nova trolling the complaints boards - then you know all of this.
OMG..wow! I almost went to him for a consultation but didnt! WHO are you using for your attorney? Is he/she a malpractice attorney? PLEASE let me know their name, I need them.
