DoorFront Direct delivery of my magazines

Found my magazine on my wet grass next to my mailbox. Thought it was trash some careless thoughtless human threw out their car window because they were raised by wolves. Why would anyone want their items threw on the ground where it gets rained on and Whatever else the weather can treat it to.
This rates close to the top of idiot ideas people come up with that never use their wonderful inventions and have no clue. I will cancel my magazine subscription and everyone else should do the same.

DoorFront Direct Delivery of my Country Living magazine

My Country Living magazine was thrown on my driveway on a rainy day. Needless to say, it was completely soaked and ruined. I want my magazine delivered by the post office and put in my mailbox where it is protected from the elements. Also, I am a letter carrier and DoorFront Direct is not permitted to use the mailboxes on my route. I find magazines in the mailboxes all the time.

DoorFront Direct magazines

I did not subscribe to this magazine nor do I want it! How do I get them to cancel any future deliveries? The web site is not functioning. All I want is to have the magazines stopped! Quit sending me magazines that I do not want! I have not subscribed to any and I do not want any on my doorstep or inmy mail box. I get enough junk mail and I do not need any more! Save a tree and quit sending out magazines to those who do not order them! I hope that is enough characters for you to notice.

DoorFront Direct magazine delivery

Both Bon Appetit (and an unwanted Condé Nast Traveler magazine) have arrived thrown on the driveway, thrown on plants in my garden, thrown on the sidewalk or thrown on my steps, in the past year. When it has rained, they are wet magazines.

Today (7/1/19) I just received the Traveler thrown on my steps. Not only had I canceled this magazine and tried to cancel the Doorfront Direct Service at least a month ago, I just tried to go to the website http://doorfrontdirect.com to resolve the issue, and got a 404 Website Not Found error.

I'm sure it must be cheaper for Condé Nast to use Doorfront Direct, but not only is it LESS convenient than my mailbox, it results in damaged deliveries. Not happy...

DoorFront Direct wet magazine

We went on vacation and had our mail held but when we pulled in the driveway at close to midnight there was a plastic bag full of water and my bon appetit magazine. The magazine was so swollen water it was about to burst out of the bag. I don't like this "improved" delivery service at all. If this continues I will just cancel my subscription!

DoorFront Direct delivering magazine to door instead of mailbox

Last several mag deliveries. I get very many delivered.
Who is the genius that thought up this service (while taking a big crap)? This is the stupidest idea since liberals! My mailbox is bolted onto my house which is inches outside my front door, but no, now I have to drag my disabled [censored] out to the porch soaked with rain and find my magazine, soaked with rain. The latest one - veranda is completely soaked thru, again, you stupid [censored]s, and now I can't get another one! Whose face can I rip off please? Who the f — asked you people to interfere? Huh? Another useless occupation dreamed up by some loser who thinks he/she is some brilliant entrepreneur. I wait for my nice magazines - thanks for f*cking up my day. Cry cry cry.

Hey - country folk may - may - like it cuz their mailbox is a quarter mile away - I grew up country - but for city people you are making it worse, plus wisconsin is way too wet to fling periodicals on the porch. Duh. Ugh f*k

DoorFront Direct hgtv and food network

I didn't get my June issue of HGTV magazine and this month's Food Network was thrown at the bottom of the driveway. It rained and the bag had a hole in it so the magazine was wet. I want it delivered by the post office. How do I opt out of doorfront direct or I will have to cancel all the subscriptions. What more do I add to meet your minimum number of characters?

DoorFront Direct delivery

"Door front save you time since you don't have to walk out to your mailbox". That is a direct quote from the card that accompanied our recent delivery of the magazine from Food Network. Funny thing is that the delivery actually comes at the end of our driveway about 4 ft. from our mail box and nearly 30 ft from our front door!

Seems from reading other complaints that this is an issue for many people!

So, just what is your company going to do about it?

DoorFront Direct missed issue

I never received my June issue of Food Network magazine. My subscription # is FNM2064597145/4#. Is it possible you may still have it in your warehouse/offices? I would love to still receive it even thought the month is almost over.
Thank you for any help you can give. Food Network said they never got it returned. My home address is: 9706 W Kerry Ln, Peoria, AZ 85382

DoorFront Direct hgtv magazine

I do not want the magazine delivered by the newspaper company. Some times I do not get a paper for several days and then I get two or three newspapers in one sleeve. Some times I have to go down the street to get my newspaper because they just throw it out the window.
If I could get this magazine at my door, I would be thrilled. But it will never happen with the newspaper people.

DoorFront Direct magazine subscription country living

For the last two months my magazines have been tossed at the bottom of our super long driveway! Both have been driven over because the only thing in that driveway is usually a throw away paper our dog likes to go get! The magazine is in perfect view of passersby who would easily pick it up before we would ever see it?! Last time our dog thought is was the usual junk and decided it could be chewed up! UGH And this is really far from our front door, which is not even in view of the bottom of the driveway! The mailbox for magazines has been the best place for the last 45 years! Why change something that really works?

DoorFront Direct magazine delivery, the magazine was thrown from a moving car onto my sidewalk, it was not delivered to my doorstep!!!

The advertizement for Doorfront Direct states that my magazine will be delivered to my doorstep, which it was NOT! The advertizement goes on to state "Doorfront Direct saves you time since you don't have to walk out to your mailbox". Well, my mailbox is on my front porch, and my Country Living magazine was thrown from a moving car onto the sidewalk in front of my house, so it cost me time to walk out to the sidewalk to retrieve my magazine. Also, anybody walking by could pick it up and walk off with it! How is this a better service? I am furious with Doorfront Direct. I want my magazine delivered by the USPS!

DoorFront Direct hgtv magazine delivery

6/19/19 My HGTV magazine (July/August issue) was tossed from a car onto my driveway which is far from my front door. I previously sent a complaint about the same problem with the last issue (May/June). My magazine had always been delivered to my mailbox at my front door. Now because of Doorfront Direct I'm having to walk to my driveway which is far from my front door. I am handicapped and this is more than inconvenient - and false advertising. If my next issue is not delivered to my front door, I will notify HGTV magazine that I will be cancelling my subscription. I will not subscribe to any other magazine or catalog that does business with Doorfront Direct. Doorfront Direct need to be held accountable.

DoorFront Direct magazine delivery

This is the first time that I have had a delivery of a magazine(HGTV) from Doorfront direct. The notice included in the delivery states that magazines and catalogs are delivered on your doorstep. It was not delivered to my doorstep, in fact, it was at the foot of my driveway near the road in the rain! This is unacceptable. My mailbox is closer and is protected from the weather. If this is how the delivery is going to continue I will end my subscription!

DoorFront Direct oprah magazine

3rd month in a row that magazine is in the middle of the driveway...thought this was delivered to DOORSTEP! If you cannot deliver it to my doorstep or mailbox, then cancel the magazine. It is raining in Iowa today and the magazine is wet. It has actually been wet and unreadable the last 3 times I have received magazine. This "service" is just plain awful!

DoorFront Direct magazine deliveries

I have complained 3 times to DoorFrontDirect to have my magazines delivered to my front porch but they are always in the driveway. This is a stupid delivery service, go back to USPS, stop wasting money. Newspaper carriers have too much to do in a very small time frame and don't need this forced on them. Why is this company being used instead of the USPS?

DoorFront Direct all magazines, all deliveries

This service states that it is doorfront. It is not. My mail, magazines have been dropped at the end of the driveway. I am disabled and cannot walk down the drive to get it. Please use the mailbox at the door, o9r actualy do as your advertise says and drop at my door. I will contact the division for disabilies if this continues.
Now i am told that my complaint that is short and sweet, is too short and i have to write more. What more do you want. I am waiting for hip surgery and your service is dropping my mail at the end of the driveway and i have to get neighbors and help to bring in your drop off.
Please STOP the service or do it as you advertise. I will contact the channel 2 to get to the end of this if you cannot do what you say you are going to do.

DoorFront Direct vogue magazine - last 3 issues wet

In April, it had rained, and the issue was wet, drenched.

Last month the issue was wet again. I am thinking that we have had some rain, ok. Also, I received this issue via USPS. This was unusual.

Today, May 23, 2019, I received June Vogue magazine and it also was wet. But this morning it is sunny and dry. And each magazine has been and is very wet!

When I called the door front direct phone #, it went to an answering machine.

My desirable outcome would be one month credit. Vogue is giving me one month credit and resending the June issue.

Doorfront Direct has nothing to do with USPS. If you received your magazine from them in your mailbox, you should contact your postmaster. Only USPS is approved to deliver anything to your mailbox

DoorFront Direct magazine delivery

I live in the Tampa Bay, FL area (we have high humidity and sprinklers that go on in the middle of the night). I just received my first Doorfront Direct delivery. It was not on my doorstep as promised on the introductory insert. It was a few steps away from my mailbox at the end of my driveway. The plastic was not completely sealed, which lead to a readable but damp magazine

Just had my Magazine delivered today in the rain...Wow I live in Tampa Florida. Not sure what the delivery person was thinking...that the magazine would not get soaking wet because it had the plastic around it.

It's not required for you to receive your magazines this way. They have paper carriers deliver them and most carriers have two routes and ten papers to deliver on top of these magazines. They don't have time to deliver 200+ magazines to the door as well as their other responsibilities. Just cancel doorfront direct and go back to receiving the magazines in the mail.

It's not a requisite for your magazines to be delivered this way. They have paper carriers deliver them, which they are already overburdened with 10 other papers on top of these magazines. Cancel the door front direct and get them through the mail.

DoorFront Direct - hgtv magazine

Even though I live in Southern California mornings are still damp here. I go outside this morning to find my HGTV Magazine lying at the end of my driveway. It's in a plastic sleeve but the magazine is wet. And if this is to save me steps, it was lying 4 feet from my mailbox. And not nearer the house. What's wrong with the dry mailbox it was always delivered to?
