Bug Infestations
I have lived at these apartments for over seven years. I had a lady that lived up under me pass away, she have been dead for at least 5 years. They have never gone in and cleaned that apartment. There are stray dogs and cats that get into this apartment, yet alone what other critters have crawled in. My apartment has been infested with gnats, and roaches. I have asked the apartment about exterminating and nothing has been done. I now think that there are fleas and perhaps bed bugs in my apartment and have mentioned this to management. They are wanting to charge me $275.00 to come in and spray for possible bed bugs. I keep my apartment clean and orderly, about 2 months ago my air conditioner went out and I had to go 3 days in 101 degrees temperature until they could fix it. There was one part that they didn't have so my air conditioner has continually ran 24 hrs. a day. My light bill this month was over $330.00. I have paid my full rent on time since living here, never late. I would love to get all of this corrected so that I may live bug free in my home.
Bad Apartments PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!
I just called the manager today (04/27/2011) @ 5:30 p.m. He told the answering service that we will have to wait until tomorrow. By the way I have a father on dialysis, and a 4 year old son living with me. Now we won't have any air conditioning until tomorrow if that. Since our manager Nina left this place has went downhill, and if we had to get another manager I would rather the lady that we had before. Andy is not manager material, and needs to go elsewhere. Since he took over a lot of people started moving out. Move elsewhere because as soon as I get my first check I will be getting out of these old raggedy, and run down apartments that even homeless people will turn down...sad, but true!
P.S. Wouldn't waste my time taking pictures of this place with the filthy swimming pool!
Believe me I am trying to get the heck up out of here. I am looking at all types of apartments farther north up here...even if my rent went down to a $1 a month I would move. I pay full rent for this nasty apartment the only thing about it is that the room and closets are huge. Corporate will eventually get rid of these apartments or the City will shut it down! The children beat on your car...my car wasn't free at all I paid for them. I am not on HOUSING so I don't get a discount on rent, and crap. I moved here from Beaumont, TX, and I am now starting to see why a lot of people ask me why?
P.S. The new manager is ###/trash. The laundromat is busted, and very NASTY! 8 people moved as soon as Andy became manager so that just tells you how bad it is here...these apartments are for the roaches! The landscaping sucks, the pool sucks, and what the hay everything is nasty over here!

Sounds like the people that were "moved out" did not move out because of management, they moved out because they were kicked out, i had a friend that lives there and has lived there for a few years, the property did not change much from when Nina had it to when Andy got it, sounds to me that some of you have an issue with either a guy or someone that enforces the rules, things don't change like that from one day to the other. If your this unhappy, you should move out, more than likely, y'all are part of the problem as well.
Then STFU if you dont live here and never have then you have no right to ###!

this place sux the pool looks like a louisiana swamp the floors in my apartment and shot and buckle under the weight of my feet my old unit had electrical problems that caused a fire twice in one week and the fire dept said that dominion would be fined for failure to fix the elec and not providing me with fire alarms and extinguishers my a/c stays broke had no heat last winter the grounds look okish but come morning they have trash all over the place loud ### ghetto kids tearing up the cable phone and elec boxes outside and kids running rampade after the office closes this new manager andy took over on 4-8-11 and in 48hrs i counted 10 who evacuated there apts and more have done so to this day his asst mgr quit last week and today was her last she was tired of there bs and rumor is matenace is fixing to quit andy has ran off the good residents leaving the ghetto trash druggie to do as they pleaze the laundry room stay filthy and out of order its only purpose is for after hour dice games smoking weed crack coke heroine you name it broke gates cars getting busted into knock down drag out fights between ho's the boiler is busted poor water pressure and dirty brown rusted water and cant even drink it you have to buy bottled water the mgr andy has issued a MANDATORY curfew for ALL residents we have to be in our homes by 8pm sun-thurs and 11pm on fri-sat O_o other residents i have talked to have said that they have rusted out bathtubs iceboxes that have roach infestations INSIDE THEM and musky smelling carpet dishwashers that wash the kitchen floors but not the dishes inside ranges that either dont get hot and/or nuclear holocaust dinner windows that stay knocked out for a month at a time leaking roofs "possessed" HVAC systems shorted out electrical wiring corporate really F%@ked up by putting this lil [censored]-boy in charge as a mgr he'd be better off managing a Montrose Nightclub.
