Dollar Tree employee claim

I would like to report the store manager of this store for manipulate me a former employee, against an assistant manager. I was not going to fill the claim and she manipulated me into it. She doesn't train her employees in order for them to fail, if she feel that a person is better and intelligent at the job she does everything to make them quit. She mess with employees hours when she is mad, she gives no appreciation to the workers, also when we are hired they told us the schedule is flexible so this means that nobody can be special or for personal reasons be in preference over others. I am cashier, and I asked her for the morning shift if it was posible and her answer was "No, I have this person for mornings she is my main". This violates the ethics of labor, because every worker should be treated equally without preferences. I did not expected to have all days in the morning, but some of them like I think its supposed to be, a rotation of schedule hours. I really thought that she was a good person, but now I know that she is a very mean human being that shows you trust and then stabs you. I in all my knowledge declare that if you want your stores to succeed more, you should put people educated, capable to work in a team, training included. Customers complaint all the time about her dictator manners, she treats her employees like if they were kids, rude and unprofessional. I hope you reconsider what kind of people you put on front of an operation like this one so big. Thank you very much, I had to say something not only for me but for my colleagues that feel suppressed also.

Dollar Tree unethical behavior

I went into the local dollar tree located at 1460 w. Airline highway in laplace, la on april 16, 2019, at approximately 7:20 p.M. I went straight to the only open register and asked to exchange three blue rectangular tablecloths for purple. The cashier was busy, but another lady walked up and informed me that exchanges were no longer allowed without a receipt. I asked her when did that change, because I am in that store at least 4 times a week. She then said, "that's what they told us we had to do now. I said that's horrible. I then preceded to go to the back of the store to get purple tablecloths, frozen strawberries, and a roll of tape for my tape gun. I had my bag in my hand and had picked up two purple tablecloths and was looking for the tape. The same lady appears out of nowhere and screams,"ma'am I know what you're doing."my intentions were to pick up the tape, then the frozen strawberries. I was near the plastic containers at this point. I said,"excuse me."she said,"you are trying to exchange the tablecloths anyway."I said,"no i'm not, I am looking for tape."she then yelled,"get out","call the police!"I asked,"do you know who I am?"I said,"ma'am that is theft and I don't do theft."she kept yelling get out and don't come back. She also said,"I know what you look like."I told her I intended to report this and even retain counsel for public embarrassment. She replied,"my name is tammy." this happened at 1460 west airline highway in laplace, la.

Dollar Tree employee behavior

I was waiting for the dollar tree in hamburg, in, store #115 to open. It was april 17, 2019 at 9 in the morning.I was waiting with another customer, he tapped on the door since they were 5 minutes late opening. She came to the door and hollered, you'll wait till I open the door.then when she came back, I was looking in the window at some nearby murchandise, when she came and starred at me in a threatening manner.once the door was opened, she was very rudeshe apparently wasn't too busy, she then went to her office, and w ent outside, sat in a bench and started smoking. I usually am there at least once a week, i'll never go back in there again. I can't believe you allow someone who is that rude to work in customer service. It seems like there is new staff everytime I go in therw, I can see why now. I work long hours in the healthcare field, and if we ever talked to patients or family the way she treated the customers that morning, we would be fired..you definitely need to have training on customer service and how customers should be treated, because apparently she is m in the wrong field.

Dollar Tree drunk and high management store 3498

On Saturday 4-13-2019 we were at store 3498 23 mile and Gratiot . We were at the back of the Store when Four of the employees came out of the back room. They all smelled like Whiskey and Weed! The black cashier was one of the four. She said that she had to close the store because two of the people were the managers they were too wasted to work. Even though she started that morning. She seemed a little messed up too. There was a short blonde with a big nasty mouth. She was dropping F bombs every other word. I hate to say this but we have to shop somewhere else. My grandkids do not have to hear that kind of language! There was a taller skinny dark haired young women and the fourth was a guy with a beard. I have a question what kind of business are you people running. I have complained before but nothing was done to correct this kind of behavior. There are other dollar stores! I do like the convenience of the store but like I said nobody needs kids hearing foul language like that and seeing the drunks you call Managers! I told my friends you watch nothing will be done even though I let you know!

Dollar Tree complaint on manager mary-closing store early & rude

I want to register a complaint on behalf of 3 different customers about a Manager named Mary at your Crenshaw/ 57th location. On Sunday, April 15, 2019, the Dollar Tree at 5710 Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles, CA closed approximately 10-15 minutes early and very different from the posted hours. The manager, Mary, was at the door with another man and had the door locked as customers walked up she turned them down saying she wanted close now with no explanation. I saw several customers being turned away when I drove up but couldn't believe it was because she was closing early. Another upset customer outside said she was refusing to open the door as early as 8:45pm. That is ridiculous. I traveled all the way to that 1 Dollar Tree and knew I would make it in time to purchase an item that I really needed. I told Mary that I would be quick and they could still close early with 7-8 minutes to spare. When I asked to speak with the Manager, Mary rudely snapped "No, I am 'the' Manager." I then became more frustrated with her nasty and nonchalant attitude than the fact that she was closing down the business early. I am a longstanding customer and it is not fair to treat me and the other customers that way. If she had a personal reason why she needed to leave early she should have politely explained that, many customers would then understand. She acted as if we were the enemy for just wanting to come in and purchase merchandise.

If this location's policy is to close at 8:45pm then it should be properly posted at that time, and not at 9pm when there is no a sole on the premises or even in the business. Also, Mary needs training on positive customer service.

Dollar Tree store conditions

April 15, 2019

DollarTree
Baymeadows Festival
Store #3260
I've used this store constantly in the past 10 or more years. However upon many visits recently the shelves are not stocked, some empty plus a cart for of unpacked merchandise in the front of the store, yet I saw 3 workers there ? very disappointed, I spent $48 but I could of spent way more had the merchandise been on the shelves.
Also I noticed 2 employees going in and out of the office along with 2 other people that didn't appear to work there and coming out of office with bags ? Found that rather odd.
I asked why is the store so under stocked, she said because they are waiting on a truck? Doubt that, there's way too many shelves that are empty or near empty.
VERY unhappy with this store, looks like it needs more ambitious managers and staff.
TY for your time and HOPE this store gets better.

Dollar Tree rude employees and assistant manager

This has gotten to be overboard with the rude treatment by the assistant manager and a few employees and refusal to let my granddaughter get a paper for her mom that has a broken leg all because she rode in the same car with me. The refusal to take coupons when we know they work there and being treated like dirt. Anyine who goes in that store that uses coupons are treated like dirt. Assistant manager refused to sell my grand a paper because she couldn't take the coupons for her jimmy dean and her mom only gave her enough to get the amount she got last week with the same coupons and I said we will go to another store to get them and she then refused to re-ring the news paper for her. And I asked if she waz flipping kidding and with a snotty reply she stated "no im not flipping kidding".
There is no reason this employee should be working for $🌳 if she can't deal with the customers properly. To make a 7 year old cry is uncalled for.

Dollar Tree horrible treating by the manager about an overcharge...

Today at 13:39 we were at our favorite place for party supplies and holiday stuff. We were buying a congrats balloon and 9 more items for a friend that landed a great job. We were accidentally double charged for one item and the cashier apologized saying it was her first day., but she needed the managers help to return the extra dollar. A very pregnant, and very young, person that said she was the manager rudely said, "We don't give refunds!" We explained it was an over charge by one item not a refund and she replied, We don't do that, go pick another item." Honestly, this person does NOT deserve a job dealing with people. She came off as a horrible person and a terrible representative of the dollar tree and certainly should not be in a position of power like manager of the store.
We will now go to the dollar store in Sherwood instead for our party and holiday supplies and wanted you to know that you lost us as long time customers over one dollar ... and a horrid attitude from your store manager.
For more info, please feel free to email me at [protected]@gmail.com
Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully demote that rude person in your employ.

Dollar Tree unethical response to a possible injurious situation.

On the 8 day of April i entered this store to purchase toiletries and rations, iwas having a conversation about a situation and i mentioned a name that seemed to create an issue unbeknowst to me, because i saw a two young lady entering the isle andi was looking me up and down i was staring and thinking that the individual looked like a sister of mine, it must have bothered the young lady so i decided to explain why i was staring, she however started with insults and accusations of me being on drugs i exclaimed i was not on drugs and i made a comment about them being teenagers. The next thing that proceeded was the young lady re-entering the same isle and approaching me in a voilent and threatening manner cursing and swearing that she didnot ask me why i was staring, the way she was acting made say what is going on and she starting telling me"to take it outside"of which i started putting on my gloves as she was again to close for comfort, she continued arguing and i argued back and i must have said something to get under her skin because i heard a glass breaking and i had to get a "PEACE MAKER" so i was looking to find the person who was trying to get me outside, anyway i walked away and the manager at the time started shouting telling me to get out of the store while the heard the bottle or whatever broke to cause problems, instaed of doing damage control to reverse the outcome of the situation i find she was willing to cover for what appear to be associates, she had full knowledge of the companions intentions because she looked on as this rowdy person aws allowed to disrespect a paying customer and callously may have caused a news" HEADLINER "

Dollar Tree manager

I shop the Oxford store frequently the manager there. Bobby is always complaining he feels bad, you can tell when he's working the store is a mess and so unorganized, there is such a high employee turnover in this store! He has two other managers there that are great, there's a big difference in the way store looks and the store atmosphere when they are there. They really seem to care. When ever I'm in this store they are always busy putting out products. I believe their names are Laura and Heidi.

Dollar Tree drinks and employees

Every time I go in Dollar Tree to get a Dr. Pepper, they are always hot. Dollar Tree employees should fill there coolers the night before, after they close. Customers, like me, do not like to buy hot drinks. I would like the drink I buy to be cold. It would be nice for the employees to either fill the coolers up the night before, or make sure they put the cold drinks in front of the hot drinks.

One other thing, the employees there seem to like parking in the very front parking spaces, which should be for the customers to park and shop there. The manager, who drives a white truck parks in the front parking spot right in front of the door. All employees should park further out, like everyone else who has stores in that little outlet mall area.

Thanks, I hope to see some improvement.

Dollar Tree employee

I visited the brooklyn store on 4/7/2019. I would say around 4:30pm-5pm. Their was a cashier working on the second register and she proceeding to bad talk about another employee to customer who had zero idea what she was bad mouthing about. We come to the store to make a purchase and expect to receive proper customer service. I'm not expecting to get a mouth full of filth from a cashier. What makes the whole experience worse the manager/ assistant manager was there and listening to this employee bad mouthing the other employee who wasn't even present. I'm a retail manager myself and I was disgusted at what I was hearing and the icing on the cake was the manager/ assistant manager did absolutely nothing! For me personally; this should be addressed. If management cannot handle employees and their emotional outburst none should be working period. That to me was unexceptable behavior and I was disgusted by the language and the nothingness the manager/assistant did to stop this employee.

Dollar Tree store manager

I sent my 10 year old daughter and her friend in to buy a couple to us with their allowance and the manager was very rude to them for having some loose change. She yelled at them for 'Expecting her to count change and wasting her time'. I will not shop there until this woman is fired. When I called she answered and refused to let me have the number to the corporate office.

Dollar Tree horrible clerk

A heavy set, long haired, very short, young woman came up to start checking. I had already put my things down where the light was on. She chose a register behind me and calls the next customer. The guy behind me takes cuts and goes first. rude but oh well. he says he sorry. I said, youre not sorry. you saw me standing in front of you. i said this very quietly. that was the end of our conversation. the checker turns around and starts getting in my face. then she proceeds to call other customers in front of me. So I put my stuff down at the end of an isle so not to leave it in the way on the register. (non perishables) she starts yelling at me, saying im not cool for putting it down and leaving. She said "dont come back!" What did she want me to do. She ignored me, got in my face. told customers to go ahead of me. Im obviously not going to move my stuff an d get in her line. She yelled and laughed at me as I walked to my car. Professional atmosphere? I dont think so. She not only embarrassed herself, she embarrassed me. Unbelievable. She needs to be fired asap. I have shopped there for 13 years aqnd have liked everyone there till now. Im the one who always tips to much, Im patient and never put stuff in random places. I hang the clothes back up at clothes stores and bring my basket back up front. Im usually polite. But this girl has made me so mad. Its been 3 days and im still very mad. She needs to watch out. If I was someone with less patience, she couldve found herself in an uncomfortable situation. Ive never complained about anyone in 48 years. This is the first time. Ive never met a social cripple like this either. Advice- Get rid of her. Happened 3/29/19. Possibly the 28th. time was approx 1:30.

Dollar Tree assistant manager's call out attitude

I am a former employee at the Dollar Tree here in Junction City, Kansas. I work for Vocational Rehabilitation of services because of my disabilities to help me obtain and keep employment. After visiting the doctor I was given new instructions on medications to take. What are the medications cause me to be sick on and off all week thus I had to make some call outs. I woke up with a fever and I had to work a double the next day just to call in and have the assistant manager Lori berate me about having a fever and not being able to work that day. Ironically she told me there was no one to cover my shift come to find out there was someone available, Keven. I spoke to him about my call out yesterday. The assistant manager was already looking to cover my double shift The assistant manager was already looking to cover my double shift I have to take the hours away from me and give them to someone else so when I called in I believe that her attitude was meant to provoke me knowing that I have bipolar 1 disorder into quitting by hanging up on me before I was able to fully explain the reason I was calling out. So now there's no possibility of me getting my job back because I was sick I was angry and she was provoking me I would just like to inform you that if this is a common practice and she is allowed to do this to other employees that should be some type of reprimand. I know that I cannot always control my emotions so I do apologize for quitting and would of enjoyed working with Miss Beverly and Miss Patsy but Miss Lori just does not know how to talk to people.

Dollar Tree service

I just want to say the black lady (I think the manager) is very rude. I asked for some balloons and she had an attitude. She laughed in my face and cussed me out.
They young man named jonathan was the most friendly! He was so polite and so respectful. He needs to be recognized. I have seen him in the store multiple times and he is always greeting with a smile and cheerful voice! He greets every customer, helps them find items, helps them to there car and so much more. He needs to be the store manager. The store would make more money with him giving great customer service. As I watched him, he was keeping the shelves stocked! He is the hardest worker there! The other people need to be fired! I will never go back to dollar tree as long as the black lady with the scarf on her head is there! Please talk to her!

This is a brand new store. great stuff, but management is terrible. I just came from this store. there were over ten people in line and only one cashier, obviously new.
the Manager never even came out to see what was going on. I waited at least 10 minutes and there were 20 peop0le behind me. When there are more than 3-4 people on line (at a dollar store) where some patrons purchase 50 items. They should send out another cashier. what's the use of having three lanes and one cashier.
