I was trying to complete my purchase when the sales associate behaved very rude toward me. She snatched the money from my hand and then threw the change back at me. She was behaving very rude and unprofessionally and I think she should be spoken to about her treatment of customers. She had no right to treat me so badly. I've always shopped in that store and...

Dollar Tree customer service

Lawton, Oklahoma on 6748 Cache Road,
Store full of customers and only one cashier. Supervisor called for assistance and she does not show up. 10 minutes gone by supervisor walks by and begins to but products away. Supervisor Linda finally shows up when people begin to put items back and begin to walk out the door. Losing customers and profit in result of this. This is a reoccurring issue, I have spoken to the senior supervisor and issue was never fixed.

I am employed for ssa for over 40 years and have never experience rudely and using authority to conduct business favoring people who she knew and did not have to get in line and also did not charge them for all merchandise they had. She rang up people based on what they said the had but they bag more then purchased

Cashier doing there job when supervisor had people she knew went to register and rang them up spite long line of people and did not charge for all items taken to me that a form of theft. When people began to complain she referred to customer loudly as childess. I work only have less than a hour to stand in line for only 5 items i purchased. When asked to speak to supervisor her employee advised she was and she rudely continue to wait on other before continue with lines. Store location #5887 located at 189 springfield ave newark nj found out her name tiffany even though she did not have on employee tagged. She totally ignored complaimant and it is not fair to other. If that way u want to conduct busy that your loss. I know world doesn't revolve around me but when I spending my hard earned money and someone know employee and is being service before one standing in line that not being childish. What happened to customers right when you actually see someone with authority doing something illegal. Wait on others not paying is right that's what u saying. That would not happen in other store.

People should not be disrespectful because they voice there opinion. Wait til something like what I reporting happens to u. I'm a very patient person and don't expect nothing when out shopping but respect and see professional people when dealing with public. So my complaint is not childish and you have never shopped in that store. Karma a [censored] wait til it happens to u. Have a blessed day.

Dollar Tree condition of exterior grounds

I visited my local Dollar Tree on Saturday, June 29, 2019 to find that the exterior parking lot and landscaping were in unacceptable condition. The parking lot ALWAYS has trash in it...in the front and on the side. The smoke breaks areobviously taken in one area (front corner at sidewalk), and all of the butts are on the ground with no cigarette receptacle anywhere to be found. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND why management does not make an employee go outside and collect the trash before a shift or at close. OR why an employee doesn't take it upon themselves to go out and do it without being told. Where is the pride anymore in the appearance of the workplace inside and out? We are a beach community with lots of residents and vacationers. This store does a tremendous business, and it's a shame that it continuously looks "poorly".

Dollar Tree the worst customer service I ever received

I always shopped at the location 7311, 15 Joyce St, Lynn, 01902. I purchased hundreds of books here ever since moved in to Lynn and spent hundreds of dollars here. I always would bring my roller bag on the cart and fill the cart with the items. Have been here numerous times and cashiers never complained. But today, after about spending 2 hours and filling my cart with books, this guy approached me told me to leave my bag at the registers. I tried to explain him I always shopped with my bag with me. I carry money and other valuable items in my bag and am not comfortable leaving my bag out there. I tired to explain that I shopped like this numerous times, but he asked me to leave the store. I already spent 2 hours in the store and he asked me to leave! When I didn't, he came back and told me either I leave on my own or he will involve the police! This is no way to treat your regular customers! I should have left the store, instead I gave him my bag. I told him I was not coming back here again, and he said "whatever".When done purchasing, came to the register where the cashier whose name is Maryanne was working. She knows me as the customer who would always purchase about 50-60 books each time I visited. I said hi to her but she didn't greet me! Took my items and kept throwing them in the plastic bag. This is no way to treat your customers. I felt extremely uncomfortable standing there, when she kept throwing my items and looked at me with such hateful eyes as if I committed a crime. She didn't thank me, didn't say bye. But she greeted the next customer as if he was the God. She thanked him for whatever he purchased, was very happy to serve him and said bye, whereas she treated me as if I was not a a customer but some kind of a beggar. She did it while I was there, on purpose.I will never come to this store again where they don't appreciate their customers. Fortunately Dollar tree is not the only store in the area and in all other places I was treated well. In the past I would encourage my friends to shop books at Dollar Tree, but now, I will make sure none of my friends will ever at Dollar Tree again.

Dollar Tree lack of merchandise in local store

I live in Miami, Oklahoma, and enjoy shopping at Dollar Tree. However, the last few times I've gone into the store, the amount of merchandise available has significantly decreased to the point that I've asked if the store is closing. Shelves are increasingly bare. Health and beauty aisles have large areas with only shelving showing. Cleaning products are limited as well.

I have to wonder if there is a correlation between the decreasing amount of stock and the decreased number of employees I see each time I'm in the store. It's impossible for one or two people to man the registers AND stock the shelves.

I didn't ask to look in the back to see if merchandise is accumulating there, but I have to wonder if that's a possibility. Each time I inquire about the lack of items on the shelves, I'm told, "A truck will be in __________." That excuse worked once! When I go in on that day or the day after it, there is less merchandise available than on the day I inquired.

A lack of stockers and a lack of available merchandise for sale go hand in hand, and that problem falls squarely on corporate's shoulders! What are you going to do to make this a viable store again? It was wonderful until the original manager retired a couple of years ago. The last manager had been doing a great job, but I'm not sure he's still there. At least he and I haven't been there at the same time for the last couple of weeks, and I've been in three separate times during that time frame.

You no longer have Salon Selective Hair Mousse or a tile and shower spray. Both of those products are things that I bought with regularity and are the best of their kind for me and my house. I have to wonder each time I'm in what else will no longer be available.

Please correct these problems asap!

Thank you,

Pat Bridgewater

Dollar Tree manager amber at 581 second st, manchester nh

I witnessed your manager at Dollar Tree at 581 Second St, Manchester, New Hampshire making a drug deal for the second time today (the other time was right in her store at the front checkout . As of now, I will make it viral and nobody will ever go to that store again. Drug test her without warning IMMEDIATELY as they make substances now to cover up the drugs. But I did see her in an illicit drug deal. I also must complain about her disgusting attitude. BOTH times I went in she gave me serious attitude and made derogatory comments about my attire because I am very pretty. She is a wretched human and should NOT be employed with you. Fire her or the store and Amber are going viral. She makes your corporation look so very bad. Thanks! Hope you actually do something about illegal and derogatory activity.

Dollar Tree not enough cashiers

To whom it may concern I was in the 200 People Plaza Ste B, Newark Delaware 19702 today and I was in line with at least 20 people and they only had one cashier working. I complained to the manager she said she could'nt open another register...why is that? More people came in so the line got longer so more customers started complaining so the manager finally opened up another register which she should have done earlier when others besides myself ask her to do so. Another man came in and said the same thing happened Friday. Allot of people walked out so that means your losing money. My husband said while he waited for me 3 people said something to him about how bad the line was. I do allot of shopping at DT because I'm a crafter but if things dont change in this store I will go to another DT or pay the difference and go to a regular craft store where I don't have to wait in long lines. I may pay more but its worth getting in and getting out in a reasonable amount of time. Get more cashiers at this store or you've lost a customer that spends allot of money every week. Enough of us like me leaving will put you out of business within a very short period of time. The stores need to get more mesh in for wreaths as well I havent seen mesh since Easter

Dollar Tree 2900 colorado ave joliet il

Today, 06/23/19 at around noon my wife and I were in the Dollar Tree store located at 2900 Colorado Ave, Joliet, IL 60431. We had both been in this store multiple times over the past few years. This was the first time I experienced any problem at this location (and the last).

I had to use the restroom. Since I had been in the location before (and used the restroom) I knew exactly where the washroom was located and I proceeded to it. Upon arrival I found the door to be locked. I hung around some assuming the room was occupied. After a few minutes of not hearing any activity in the room I went to go find an employee; assuming (like some gas stations of old) I needed to secure a key from an employee to gain access.

I did find an employee who advised "we don't have a public bathroom." I responded by asking what the room was in the back corner of the store with the sign that said "Men" on it? She advised that since "some people abuse" the bathroom it's not open to the public.

Mind you, there is no sign indicting no public restroom. Not on or near the bathroom door. Not on the front door of the establishment. Nowhere. Quite the contrary; the signage present says "Men" and it contains the universal graphic for restroom.

The original employee said I could "ask the manager" if I wanted and pointed her out to me. I began walking towards her as she asked if I could be helped. I advised her I needed to use the restroom.

Side note: As a fully grown 58-year-old man, there is no way I should have to get not one, but TWO (female) employees involved in my bathroom needs. Not the least bit humiliating or anything.

In any event, the manager repeated what the original employee said; "We don't allow the public to use the restroom. Some people have abused it." She went on to say, "I'll let you use it this time but please remember this the next time you come." (An astonishingly presumptive statement on her part.)

I replied that I do not believe the refusal of bathroom services is lawful and it's certainly not within any kind of customer service standards. She informed me that the law does allow her to close the restroom because it's "not a restaurant and we don't serve food." I replied that it's a publicly-accessible establishment and it's my belief the policy is unlawful. I started to tell her she's within her rights to control access to the bathroom but not disallow everyone from its use. While speaking she cut me off and said, "Do you want to keep arguing with me or have me open this door?" (By this time, we were standing by the restroom door.) This was clearly her way of telling me to shut-up. I turned around and walked away; declaring to her that her store was "a [censored]hole." (I was quite angry) My wife and I finished our purchases and we left.

The whole experience was humiliating and infuriating. The fact that this store may be experiencing bathroom "abuse" is not my problem. It wasn't my problem then and it's not my problem now. The fact that I had to even ask permission to use the bathroom in a public place where my wife and I were actively shopping is preposterous. It goes without saying we'll never visit this store again.

My wife is an avid Dollar Tree shopper and fan. She shops consistently at dozens of Dollar Tree stores in the Midwest and beyond. She's an active member of lots of online Dollar Tree fan communities including Facebook and YouTube. I can assure you this write-up will be shared online within those communities.

The next time I drive past the Dollar Tree at 2900 Colorado Ave, Joliet, IL I truly hope to find it a ghost town.

Dollar Tree service

At the Clifton NJ store at 6PM the manger was using using 2 shopping carts to stock shelves at 2 different locations in the store when all carts were being used. When I asked for one, she refused saying "the carts are for employees, too!" I wouldn't mind but I buy more merchandise than the hand held baskets can accommodate. You should school your employees on when to use any shopping carts (not during peak times) and being of service to customers.
