Dollar Tree - manger james and stephie

As a frequent shopper in dollar tree I was very upset when I walked in around 1-1:30... The store was a mess everything all over there floor and barley room to walk through the aisles..
The managers that were on were very unprofessional.
James was complaining about how a child spilt laundry detergent and how he "could yet to find the parents of this child because they do this all the time " as the other manager Stephanie was in the office on her phone how I know u may ask I heard her talking on the phone. When I asked the cashier who the managers were on she said James and Stephanie she asked if she could help me with anything I said no thank u I'm very upset and I will be speaking with another manager soon... I know when I go there at other times when they aren't there the store is very clean and everyone is working not complaining and not hiding in the office.

Dollar Tree - other managers continue to harrass me asm

Sense I started over a year ago at Dollar Tree I moved up with in 2 months I was in assistant manager a month after that I was a full time assistant manager and sense I became a full time assistant manager I have been nothing but harassed daily by other assistant managers at Fall River location 1923 If something was wrong even if I wasn't there or didn't do it it was my Fault. I received letters left in the office for me Not normal ones like can you get this done or that done mean ones like you better get this done or else? Or else what what was she going to do to me was she gonna fire me was she gonna hurt me was she going to try to make my life more miserable. I have pictures of everything that I've done throughout the year that I have been there Before & After pictures of everythingI also have a text messages from other said assistant managers that are Also harassing me When I asked for set time off it wasn't allowed to me I had to switch days with another person if I needed A-day off being sick I wasn't allowed to take my vacation time when I wanted. Dollar Tree needs to investigate Dollar Tree needs to step in Dollar Tree needs to do something because all they do is let their employees be harassed this is the 2nd time I have been harassed being a employee at their company the 1st time I was sexually harassedThey didn't handle it Until 3 months after This Situation occurred And still had me work with the man on top of it. When I asked for help about the harassment with the managers they had district step in districts didn't handle a thing nothing at all because the person who was causing all the problems doesn't do a thing at all while she is working but yet she is the with the company and a hard worker like me left the company because why should I get paid the same amount as The other assistant manager no namesIf she isn't doing as much as Me there was also other stuff hopefully someone will contact me to fix the situation at hand before I contact my lawyer.

First of all, no one should be harassed -- in any environment. You might want to consider taking your complaint to the supervisors that are above the person(s) causing this. Harassment in any form is serious and needs to be exposed and stopped. If you don't get results from those that have the power to stop it, perhaps the State Attorney General's office might be your next best step.

With all due respect, I also want to address another concern that I read in your complaint. The website says in the message box to check the spelling before submitting a post. Because I was interested in your remarks, I read your entire complaint. I must confess, however, that while reading it, I was struck with a separate question of how a person can get promoted to an assistant manager position when they exhibit a serious lack of the English language. This includes writing and spelling.

It took me several times to re-read your opening remarks but once I realized you meant to say “since” not sense, I was able to continue reading. Your basic sentence structure throughout revealed a lack of understanding good English and the poor spelling/punctuation prompted me to further question whether you’re being honest about your position as an assistant manager. Nevertheless, I want to believe the best, hence I’m adding my two cents here.

Here’s the crux of the matter: it's difficult to take someone seriously in a leadership position when that person (i.e., manager – be it assistant or whatever) does not know how to spell or put basic sentences together. Granted, it’s no excuse for harassment or treating anyone poorly, and may be entirely separate in this situation, but I wonder if you improved your writing and spelling, whether you might become more effective all-around. Learning basic sentence structure and spelling can get a person far and have a dramatic impact on how others view us.

Your emotions are understandable however, I fear that until you get a better knowledge of good English, I would be concerned that you won't be taken seriously by co-workers and leaders. Would that eliminate the harassment? I don’t know and don't have an answer but it wouldn’t hurt to learn. I sincerely believe that when you are able to express your thoughts better, and have better spelling, the likelihood of being taken seriously and earning respect, will likely grow.

I strongly encourage you to take some night classes and learn English, learn how to spell and use punctuation. You won’t regret it, that I can assure you. You may even find yourself getting promoted further. No promises, but heck, what have you got to lose?

Read The Corporate Policy and escalation procedures. This is included in your employee new hire paperwork and it is available to employees from the corporate website. Utilize your internal phone directory and internal email contacts. I cant believe you are "management." You were promoted at the same time you reported sexual harrassment...find a new job. Wow. Just wow. Good luck with any "law suit" threats here.
