Dollar Tree manager cheryl

The line was very long and I asked the cashier if she could call for assistance. She informed me that she was the only one on the floor. Shortly after the manager (Cheryl) came from the back and called for the next customer. A man at the end of the line got to the line before me and I said exscuse me I'm next. The manager said it doesn't matter he has 1 item. But it did matter because I was next and there were at least 4 more other customers before him. So I started to complain to her about the cashier being very rude as another customer said the same thing. The manager proceeded to interrupt me while I was talking. I asked her not to do that and let me finish my statement. She stopped ringing my items, folded her arms and said let me know when you're done. So I said instead of having an attitude u should just be apologetic and get me out the store. She said I'm not going to service u. I said how can u not continue to ring my items? She said because I'm the manager and I don't have to ring your items because you're talking aggressive. I said I'm talking as aggressive as u are. So I turned to a 3rd cashier that arrived from the back and asked her if she could ring my things. The manager told her no as well. She said I'm sorry if she said I can't then I can't because she's my manager. I asked the manager for corporates number and she said no I'm not giving it to you google it. So I left the store. My cousin was in the car waiting during our interaction so I asked her if she could go back in dollar tree and pay for my items at the counter. My cousin went in and asked if she could pay for the items left at the register. The manager told her no because she was with me. I was outside the entire time. As I'm looking through the window I see the manager Cheryl following my cousin out the store and they were arguing. The manager told my cousin she had protection and started patting her waist. I got a bat out the car and told her I would hit her with it if she touched my cousin. All of this is happening outside of the store. We got into a huge altercation outside the store and an employee came to get the manager. She said she was calling the police. I told her we are out the store why did you follow my cousin outside. I put my baby back in the car and proceeded to leave. She came back out the store with the police on the line and got in front of my car as I was trying to pull out. She was literally off the sidewalk and in the street. I told her she was antagonizing us and I have never been treated as such and she should never come outside the store to fight a customer. I left the parking lot and I called the police as well and filled a complaint. This is unacceptable behavior for any employee. Also I asked her name because I could only see HERYL on her badge. She said her name was Cheryl so I'm not sure if she spells it with a C or S. I would like to hear back from someone promptly on this matter.

Dollar Tree poor management

I have been in dollar tree two times this week. Both times the cashier situation was really really poor. Your managers don't know who pays the bills. They need to be better trained.

The first incident was when the cashier was a real jerk. She slammed my merchandise down and I took it to another cashier because she was supposed to be off work in 10 minutes and she had no change. Nothing to do with me. I just picked up my merchandise and went away before she exploded.

Today I went again — earlier in the day to avoid the jerk cashier. I found my 4 items and was wanting to pay cash and leave but there were 8 people in line behind one working check out station ahead of me. There were two manager types just standing there. They did nothing to help relieve the back up of customers. One moved small items from shelf to shelf and the other one just wondered around. The customers were lined up to the center of the store isle.

I have fulled out a customer feedback on both situations and there has been no contact with me or no improvement. Other dollar tree stores are run nice and I like to shop there. What is with the store #3017 at 1930 w. Sunset blvd, st. George, utah?

Dollar Tree employees

I called Dollar Trees complaint line - The store in Canon City Colorado is the rudest store, I've EVER stepped into. I'm a local retail worker and customer service also require politeness. On 5/9/18 a cashier named Cathy waited on me, after saying hello, I waited for a reply - none was given, I was never addressed. Instead, she said hello to a man standing behind me and continued to speak with him while checking out my few items. After paying for my items with a debit card, she simply handed me my receipt, while still talking around me. Not a hello, a goodbye nor have a good day.

Dollar Tree rude employee

5/8/2018 I went into store # 5889 on Mahoning Ave in Youngstown OH to purchase a few things after my son's football practice. I have never been to this location before and I was waited on my by an employee Bianca, while in line my 7 year son was acting like he was lifting the carts and the pop by the front door i did tell him to stop, but the cashier decided to say man he must be a bad kid. When i said he really isn't she said well from where I stand he looks like a bad kid, then I well guess that's you are not his mother. If my son was being bad and rude I would have taken him to the car but he was not nor is it her place to comment like that. I did speak with the acting manager before I left and even with her the cashier tried to say my son was being horrible . It doesn't justify her saying anything even if he was. Just before me she shorted a customer their change. I will never go back there and I will tell every other football mom in the league to not stop at that one anymore.

Dollar Tree customer service

Cld Dollar Tree located at
16610 So Western Ave., Gardena CA on May 3rd, 2018 and May 8th, 2018, regarding glasses left on counter on May 3, 2018. Spoke with Store Manager Brandi, whom stated no one turn in sunglasses. I inquired about their surveillance cameras and whether they are on the cashier area? She replied yes. I asked if the tape could be played back, she advised no. I asked if law enforcement accompany me could the tape be viewed? She replied, even with law enforcement the tape can only be ran by receiving corporate approval. I asked for corporate info she said she would contact them. Advised, Brandi/Brittany I rather contact Corp myself sense the issue concerning my glasses was of no importance to her and furthermore, the glasses were taken by the customer. There was no other customer behind me when I inadvertently laid my glasses on the counter. Informed her the Glasses are expenses and cost over $400 (Gucci)
I explained the glasses have sentimental value to me. They were a gift from my now deceased mother.

Dollar Tree cashier

This is my next attempt as for my 3 calls to the complaint line have not been answered. I'm am mortified at the behavior of the cashier Patricia at the Alvin hwy 6 location. It was unacceptable and unnecessary and quite frankly frightening... The cashier was extremely rude and loud. . She confronted me and my daughter as we were waiting for a manager to return from seeing if she could locate an item at another store... I asked her to simply not speak to me and she began to get louder... Manager returned and sent Patricia on break... I checked out and went to my car... PATRICIA FOLLOWED! walked right next to my window bent down and creepily smiled and waved... Mortified is an understatement! This is an employee of Dollar Tree who actually stalked me to my vehicle... If someone doesn't do something asap about this incident, a web complaint and a few messages on the complaint line is nothing compared to me contacting an attorney and / or the police in regards to this woman!

Dollar Tree customer service

I visited your store tonight, Tuesday May 8, 2018 in Bainbridge, Georgia. Although it was closing the doors was still unlock, merchandise still outside on the sidewalk and a customer inside the store being checked out ; as I enter the store The manager stated the store was closed - I acknowledged that it was time to closed, but your still open. Your doors not lock and there is someone being checked out, and you still have merchandise outside that have not been brought in to the store. He mumble and said HUH. And turned around and told the cashier not to ring me up; after I heard what he had said I went to the counter and asked her twice did he tell her not to ring me up, she stated yes he said not to ring me up. They were closed . I stated to her that she were still cashing out a Customer and the door wasn't lock and you all still have merchandise out side. I then asked her what time did the store open in the morning. Neither wass sure of the time. I stated to her that the time of opening didn't matter because I doudt I ever come in the store again. I felt a sense of being discriminated againstl: And really thinking about calling my Attorney in the morning.

Of all the retail /Customer Service I have worked and training given, this was the first I have ever experienced in being denied service to an Customer if that customer entered into a store regardless if the store was open or closed. Your managers and staff in Bainbridge surely need training before left unattended in growing enterprise as your company, the Dollar Tree.

Dollar Tree room for improvement with staff engagement

Hi - I was in your store today May 7 at around 3:30p.m. (store #2080) and Patricia who was at the check out stand was so unfriendly that it was the cap on the end of what was a bad day.
I went to the store to get some glass globes to make plant terrariums for my colleagues and a few other items that I purchase regularly for my office and home.
There was a woman in front of me of the same demographic as Patricia. Patricia was quite friendly to the customer, making small talk about halloween costume ideas, etc.
I was next in line and I put my basket on the counter. Patricia didn't say hello, rang my purchases with not so much as a word, told me my total and handed me my bags, all in silence.
I try to live my life and spread kindness - I told her to have a great evening. Silence. Her absolute silence was enough that I spent the evening feeling bad, and finally decided to write you.
It shouldn't be that difficult to be greeted or generally spoken to. Listening to someone's life story isn't necessary, but a common hello in a place of business would be nice.
It was a very poor experience and I won't be back.
I understand that my business doesn't affect your bottom line at all, but you should have staff who are pleasant to be around no matter what your personal demographic is.
Kind regards,
Lisa [removed]

Dollar Tree the manager, rose is extremely rude!

On Monday, May 7th around 7:00 pm I went to return one unused item (a Birthday sash that is only sold at Dollar Tree) that I had purchased on May 2nd from the Dollar Tree store on Jericho Tpk in Commack, NY. I wanted to return the item, but was told by the cashier that I could only make an exchange, which I was fine with. However, This employee, Rose, who I think is a manager was very rude and refused to let me just exchange the one item. I asked her if Dollar Tree would think it was worth her giving a loyal customer a hard time over $1, and she said she didn't care. I am shocked and disappointed and I do not think you would approve of your employees treating your customers this way.

Dollar Tree paintsville kentucky store

The store manager I believe to be Sonya is rude and very unprofessional she talks down to her employees and sits on her butt and gets paid. I believe her and the dm has things going on which hey guess that's how you keep a job nowadays. Sarah the cashier is Sonya's roommate how professional to get more hours than the managers and other cashiers got to keep them bills paid for her I guess plus she is very rude to customers I even heard her cuss them and can't stay off the phone while checking out customers. Joni I believe to a asst. manager she tries but is also very lost at her job which who isn't considering who is the trainer Sonya anyone would be cause she can't even do her job. Stacy is another manager I believe and she tries but Sonya constantly puts her down and talks about her and trying anything to get her fired. They also set up their manager Jodie to be fired while the other 2 managers Sonya and Joni was there and they did nothing such a shame that store will suffer cause that was the best one their in my opinion at least she worked she should of been store manager that place would have got cleaned up. Also another cashier Clarissa very much rude and talks way to much of personal issues makes you feel uncomfortable. Dollar tree 5648 is in complete disorder and mess the dm needs to think of his job and quit doing what he is doing and the regional needs to get their butt in there and take control or someone higher needs to come in or there will be no store left. I don't know the rest of the employees but I am concerned for them to to have to work in such a hostile environment.

The cashier Chanel, at the #1794 dollar tree is rude. She did not greet me and seemed to have an attitude as she proceeded to ring me out. I felt unwelcome and appalled. If that is how Dollar Tree employees treat their customers than I most certainly do not intend to shop there ever again. What kind of store would employ such rude and bad mannered employees?

I'm an employee (assistant manager) at Dollar Tree in Pearland Texas. My store manager is extremely rude and disrespectful to females. I've caught him in a couple lies and all he does is boast about how he is the manager and that we work for him and that's his store. So in so many words he's telling us to shut up and just do what he says. He has changed my schedule several times without me knowing and after I have already written my schedule down for the week. He does not take anything we say or do seriously and he is always insinuating that were trying to steal from the store. He is the worst manager I have ever dealt with and he really makes me uncomfortable at work me and the other female manager are constantly harassed by him and he does not care about our feelings.

Dollar Tree service I received today was very nasty

I walked in to the dollar tree in south ozone park in queens. Like I do every day I say hello get my things and leave feeling sorry for this employee that is always pleasant she say good morning yes ma'am no ma'am very respectful
But the young manger always seems to talk to this women as if she's a child I even over heard her call the women a [censored] and laugh at it as if it was a joke on another occasion I came in to hear the same manager ask the young man are you dumb get your life together. There is a lot of customers that feel like that manager should not have a job at dollar tree she rude and disrespectful not only to the employees but to customers even when she's on the register I would have to stop coming to this location until the service is improved or this manager is disciplined

Dollar Tree employee’s poor customer service, bad attitude, poor customer engagement, misuse of power

Unfortunately I had a negative experience on 5/3/18 at approximately 8:34pm at store # 1239 with office manager, Corrina. Corrina was standing at a register I asked her if they were the only two working she said, "yes." I then asked if she was planning on opening another line because there were approximately 10 people in line waiting to be checked out. Corrina's back was towards me during the entire conversation she did not turn around and acknowledge me she said rudely "hold on I'm doing something." I then asked her for corporates phone number she said "it will be on your receipt" as she walked away. I said I prefer she gave me the phone number in the event I did not want to stand in line for a long duration of time. She then walked over to a different register summonings the next customer to her line. I again asked her for corporates phone number she stated "I'm helping a customer right now." I proceeded to asked the other employee working what her coworkers name was because she did not have on an employee badge. I was told that both employees names were Corrina and they have the same last name. The difference between the two is the Corrina I encountered the incident with is the office manager. I then got in the shortest line which happen to be office manager Corrina's line. When I got up to the register she said, "I'm refusing to help you because you are complaining about me you can go get in her line." I told her I was not complaining about her but I will make a complaint to corporate because of her bad customer service, misuse of power and her rude demeanor. I then went and stood in the other line. I am disappointed in the way she handled this situation I feel she would benefit from more customer service training. In our day and age people have mental health issues and aggressive behavior that could easily affect how they handle a hostile situation such as I encountered with Corrina. Fortunately, I am not that type of person but as a social worker I frequently work with that population. This could have easily escalated into a different scenario. Corrina's poor customer engagement, refusal to provide corporates phone number, refusal to check me out, rude behavior caused me to have a negative shopping experience at Dollar tree. I hope this is addressed so it does not happen to anyone else.

Dollar Tree cashier

I went into your store on Camp Bowie I was checked out by Rich whom said he was the management but all in all he lied to because he had to call the store manager. I went to make a purchase for a sticker I did not want so I could pay the dollar fee for cash back to loan a friend. I asked Rich of I could pay the dollar fee with cash and pay for the sticker with my debit card. He said yes then took my dollar and applied it to the sticker I did not want. Then told me I had to pay with the card after he already took my cash. He refused to void the transaction and redo. When he called the manager he straight up lied to him. I don't normally shop at that location because I live in Azle and I spend a lot of cash in that store every payday. I am contemplating never going to make another purchase at dollar tree again. Besides y'all dont give cash refund with receipt for items purchased. I will contact the BBB also if this not resolve to my satisfaction

Dollar Tree unethical behaviour

Employee Mary Southern (Colwell) is a dangerous person. She's been fired from multiple businesses for not being able to get along with customers. Fired at CVS Wayne rd/Palmer Westland, MI & McDonalds same area. She defrauded Government by falsely claiming she was disabled. Disability was taken away. She claimed workers comp through multiple employers, last one was at U of M when she worked in cleaning dept. Has a dangerous anger problem. Dr. Jeckel and Mr. Hyde personality. She is currently being investigated by Federal Government for Elder abuse, and I am a witness to it. She assaulted a senior citizen Rosie Sempter at the McDonalds at Wayne Rd. & Palmer, no charges filed because Rosie was afraid of Mary's retaliation. Mary was banned at this McDonalds for over a year. The Mcdonalds manager, also named Mary, can verify this. Several customers will no longer go into this particular dollar tree when they see Mary Southern working there. I walk in, see her, and walk right back out. Mary southern is a wonderful "actor" and can fool anyone. She will use words like "sweetie", "honey". She can break out crying at anytime, and make it very believeable. There was a police report filed against mary southern, because she was driving through this same McDonalds and giving all the customers "the finger". She did this for 3 months until the police were called. Her family as disowned her for her dangerous behavior. Today, May 3, 2018 I informed the manager Fred of this woman's dangerous capabilities. This is at the Dollar Tree on Wayne rd and Glenwood.
