Dollar Tree manager and employees

There is a relationship going on between one of the managers and employees at this store in Doniphan. I have seen them kissing in the parking lot and are all the time coming and going together! It seems that the nights they work together not much is getting done! I have notice they both seem to be on some kind of drugs. It's sad was one of my favorite stores and now I will only go in the store in the mornings.

The manager at the Dollar General store in Doniphan, Mo. really needs to be fired. She is not only a mean, hateful person but she does not keep the store clean. Also, most of the time there is only one lane to check out of when there is 12 people waiting. There was 2 teenage kids that got kicked out because she thought they were trashing what she said was her store when in fact they were just being courteous by picking up trash from the floor. She yells at kids and adults. She needed to be fired ever since she got hired. Hopefully this will be seen and something gets done a.s.a.p!

I think there is something going on between the store manager and a female employee in Doniphan cause I over heard the female employee say that the store manager paid for her to get in her place and furnished it for her and now I hear the other employees complain that the female employee is getting more hour than anyone so if the store manager is going to do that I'm going to start going to the store in Poplar Bluff

Dollar Tree service. I am complaining about the staff and overall filth of our local store

I live in Bel Aire Kansas and often frequent the Dollar Tree located at 6505 E 37th St N. Tonight I stopped by to pick up a few balloons for my sons 3rd birthday and had the worst service EVER. There was 1 poor young man running the only register open while 2 other employees chatted in the managers office. 15 customers and 30 min later I left furious. Several customers asked the working manager to come out and assist, including the poor kid manning the register. She claimed to be counting a drawer for 30 min but we could hear her in there talking to the other employee about family issues, taking personal calls on her cell phone and completely avoiding coming out to help. When she finally did she told everyone "SORRY! Had to do the banks" and ignored everyone's complaints. She then had the other employee she was gabbing with call who must have been the store manager and forewarn them about unruly customers and that it wasn't her fault. The amount of disrespect and unprofessionalism they presented has made me never want to shop there again. Not to mention the overall filth of that store! I would have to think that if corporate walked in there they would clean house immediately and shut down to fumigate. Boxes piled everywhere, disorganization and a poor staff is just too bad for our area. Bel Aire is middle to upper class families and there is no excuse for a business to operate like that! I try to shop at the Dollar Tree at 11333 E Kellogg as much as possible because it is clean, the staff is helpful and they present themselves as professionals. the merchandise is also clearly displayed and I spend a great deal of money in there. The 37th street location needs a surprise visit, a makeover and all new staff, with the exception of the young high school kid that was working his tail off today alone and trying his hardest to keep everyone happy. Something has to be done there!

Dollar Tree service and professionalism

Went into store #412, Jonesboro, Ga, on May 1, 2018. The cashier(which may have been the lead cashier or floor manager) was rudely talking to her customer about her nagging children. After the sale, the cashier went to blow up the balloons as the customer had purchased and told the customer to walk to her to get the balloons because her feet were hurting. While this was going on, I waited in line with the only lane open with four other people waiting to be served, as this same cashier rants about the prior customer needing to control her children and how she was so glad that they left. She went on to entertain another cashier(appears to be doing shift change) causing that cashier to slow the process of logging in to serve customers and decrease the wait in line. A customer asked if they were going to open another register as she witnessed the two cashiers talking nonchalantly, and they both replied with a rude tone and high pitch voice, "NO." Once I finally was served and checked-out I directed my comment to the two off task employees and informed them of their unprofessional behavior and that if service was not render within the next few minutes that they were to be reported. Both ladies responded disrespectfully that they were just changing shifts and how they didn't care what I had to say or who I needed to call.

Dollar Tree I am complaining about how one of your managers handled me in your store

I went to the Dollar Tree store #106 at 9310 Forest Lane, Dallas TX. 75243 to buy a pair of head phones. The manager I guess was walking around and I stopped and put the headphones down to dig in my bag for the money to pay for them. So when I went to the register he literally ran up to the register and began to stare me down . So I asked him was there a problem . So in turn he replied you can either pay for your idem or I can call the police on you for what you have in your bag. Implying that i was stealing out of your store. So in turn I told him to call the police and asked him for the corporate number to the store. He then took my idem and said I could not pay for the idem and to get out of the store. So I googled a 1-800 number and spoke to someone and they were on the phone as I spoke to the police when they arrived. He also put me on hold before the police came to talk to his superior about the situation. The young man I spoke to told me to come online a file this complaint. I also emptied my bag for the police officer outside to let them see i had nothing in my bag. So I was told for all the embarrassment and humiliation I received that I was banned from your store and now if I go in the parking lot i will be trespassing for not stealing anything out of your store. I feel he had no right to get in front anyone in that store and say what he said and handle in the manner in which he handled me. I called my sister while I was still at the store to contact a lawyer. The company should have trained him better and he should have known what he was talking about before he accused me of anything. I feel he should be sue as well as Dollar Tree for allowing someone like him to work and stand as the face of your company.

Thank you,
Malinda Hatfield

Dollar Tree employee by the name of diane working at the dollar tree located at 6085 greenback ln citrus heights, ca 95621 united states

I am still frozen in disbelief as to what just happened. I cannot believe this is okay in your store. I have NEVER in my entire life been treated so poorly by a store representative as a paying customer. At about 10:30 am April 30th 2018 I was shopping at the dollar tree on 6085 Greenback Ln
Citrus Heights, CA 95621
United States. First of all I felt unwelcomed the moment I walked in. I was not greated by a single store team member. And when I tried to great Diane (our first encounter) she completely ignored me as if though I didn't notice her following me the second I walked in. "Good morning" I say, and am greated with Silence in return... but whatever I tried ignoring her rudeness and concentrated on my shopping list. Midway through shopping my hair started really bothering me so I reached in my bag and took out a mirror and a comb. Before I even had a chance to look up I hear Diane storming at me rudely raising her voice at me accusing me of stealing, practically throwing my belongings and store items I was settled on purchasing fiercely and accusingly out of my cart. Repeating harshly "get out of my store" over and over. I told her several times to check my bag. Did my best trying to explain to her that all I did was take out my mirror and comb. But Diane, your store representative, using her "amazing" customer service skills definitely just kept talking over me rudely interrupting me convincing herself that Im a thief. If Diane is a representative of what dollar tree is all about then there's something really wrong here. And dont be surprised once sales drop due to poor store representatives. Please for Dianes own good have a manager go over "basic customer service for dummys" with her. I think she just needs to be retrained, giving her the title a new employee starts out with and tear all that rude negativity superiority title she feels she has down, and rebuild her as a proper employee from the ground up. Otherwise I feel like theres no hope for Diane. She will run that Dollar tree to the ground single handedly at the rate she's representing your store. Something will eventually have to change about this store. Either Diane will learn some manners, or Dollar tree will start seeing fewer and fewer traffic coming in through those doors. I really hope you take appropriate action regarding Dianes behavior. Because if not, i refuse to allow me my friends or family near a dollar tree everr again. Let alone in. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Dollar Tree stealing and the store employees did nothing!

I was in Dollar Tree yesterday by Publix on Newberry off of I75. I saw a woman stuff merchandise into a bag. She saw me looking at her and gave me a nasty look. She then proceeded to walk out of the store and ride off in a Publix motorized wheelchair. I alerted the people working up front. They said, there isn't anything they can do. Then several people proceeded to tell me to mind my own business, take care of my own house, mock me and speak very loudly in the store, how I needed to meet one of their friends. No doubt, this Dollar Tree is the "go to steal store"!

Dollar Tree employee complaint

I was in a Dollar Tree store today in Lexington, KY at around 2:30 pm and witnessed a very unprofessional and unnerving situation between a Dollar Tree employee and I assume one of the managers. The manager was completely berating the employee, cursing and practically screaming at him. Telling the employee that he was worthless and threatening to fire him. I'm not exactly sure what was going one but it was extremely uncomfortable to witness and I feel like it shouldn't have happened out in front of customers or even at all. I could tell the employee probably felt completely defeated and really terrible about themself . I typically wouldn't complain or contact a store with anything but this has really stuck with me all day and felt that I should inform you of what is going on in one of your stores.

The store was on Maple Leaf Drive, Lexington KY.. I am not sure who the employee was, he was a tall Caucasian male with Brown hair. The manager (I assume) name on his badge was Robert. Please contact me with any further questions.

Thank you,
Leah Lloyd

Dollar Tree filthy store! 1028 us, highway, 27 s avon park fl

I don't write reviews or complaints on any stores. Does this store even have a Manager, and is there a District Manager that goes around checking stores under his/her District? It doesn't show that anyone really cares about this store, and most importantly Customers. The store's floors are filthy. Looks like it hasn't been mopped in a long while. There are dry black drippings of who knows what in front of the empty coolers. There are boxes throughout the isles empty and with merchandise that wouldn't fit on the shelves just left there. Why leave excess on the floor? Why not take it to the back. You have to look at the shelves. Nothing is faced, everything in disarray. Most of the shelves are empty. How does this store make money? The sidewalk in front of the store with trash. Put a trash can in front of the store! It's not my job to take fotos or videos of the store. Get someone down there to get this store to the highest standards so that we the customer can return. My wife and I, first time in this store and we were totally grossed out. Never to return.

Dollar Tree unethical behaviour

Dollar Store #7013
Address: 425 W Baseline Rd, Tempe AZ [protected]
Compliant against Sales Associate: Jamie AND Manager/Supervisor: Corrie
Date:4/28/18
Time: 19:08
Transaction ID: [protected] [protected]

Associate Jamie didn't say any Hi or hello and NO Thank you and made faces and was rude. Didn't even look at us.
And when called the store manager Corrie, she said "Go Ahead and complaint and hung up"

Dollar Tree or any other store should screen employees for customer service before hiring.

That gives a Black Spot on Dollar Tree.

Thanks

Dollar Tree customer service

Cashier/stocker she has an attitude. Everytime you go into the store she automatically has a look on her face when I enter with my mixed child. I went to go check out at the register and Nadine rang up my purchase, I paid for it. Then she handed my change. I looked in my hand to see there was pennies. I placed them on the counter for the next customer. She told me that they are not allowed to be there and I needed to take them. I was so pissed I threw them on the ground outside. Since when did it become a problem to help someone who may be less fortunate. I hate this store! This is the store located @ Orange Grove and pondella, fort Myers FL

Dollar Tree upper management (store 4412)

My son was hired at Dollar Tree. This was his first job. He enjoyed what he had to do at his job, stocking shelves. He is high functioning Autistic and liked doing something that was not stressful. The management is where my complaint is. My son had to come in at 6 am. The manager was always 15 mintutes late (he unlocked the door) and in turn, that makes my son 15 mintues late. My son still liked the job. When they asked if he would work the midnight shift, he said sure. This was to unload the truck. If the truck was not showing up, the manager NEVER called him. This happened on at least 4 occasions. My son would call and text him, but he never returned his phone call. The managers reasoning, "I don't really check my phone on my days off." My son did get sick and miss work. When he returned back, he ended up leaving early because of still not feeling well. He was told to come in the next day. When he did, while waiting in the car, the district manager had him unroll his window and told him he was fired. The district manager told my son, my autistic son, HE WAS FIRED THROUGH A WINDOW! My son was on sensory overload because of the rudeness of the district manager. He never sat my sun done, talked to him. Asked him what's going on. Just fired him and chewed him out on how he can't work a shift. Even though he would come to work and wait for 20 minutes because the manager would not let him know he did not have to work.
I am so fed up with this store. I will never go to a Dollar Tree again. I will never speak nice of the store because of how the upper management treats their employees.
I really hope upper management receives training how to properly act and treat their employees, especially those with a disability.

Dollar Tree customer service/ open registers

When shopping ay the Dollar Tree in Marysville, WA, Store Number 4285 this evening (6:38 PM to be exact), there was only 1 Sales Associate and the Store Manager available for the vast amount of patrons in the store.

The Sales Associate Virginia was very pleasant, especially considering the circumstances! The Store Manager on the other hand was the complete opposite. I say this because I walked over to him after waiting in line already for at (the very least) 5 minutes where he happened to be at the register furthest from the door in front of his office and seemed to be completely oblivious to the very long line which had formed (I was the 9th customer in line with customers getting in line behind us which were climbingthe number of paying patrons to approximately 20 (and continuing to grow). When i approached the Manager I politely informed him thathe had customers all the way half down the aisle. He told me that he'd step up as soon as he was finished with his "project". He never stepped in to assist the customers who (I must admit) were beginning to grumble. My request was completely ignored. We stood in line for (again, at the very LEAST) 15 minutes. Of course, my shopping basket was full and had spent a significant amount of time choosing the products I wanted to purchase, therefore instead of leaving the store due to the lack of service I opted to wait.

Virginia was awesome! She remained calm, professional and showed her gratitude of us sticking it out and continuing with our purchases. The Manager's attitude and complete lack of customer service was absolutely appalling. This was the worst shopping experience I've ever encountered at any Dollar Tree EVER. I happen to be a big fan of your stores and have shopped with you in many different cities and states. I will be surprised if my complaint is the only one you'll recieve about this particular store. I hope that you may congratulate Virginia ob her terrific performance and that the Manager is spoken to. Had this been my first visit to one of your stores it may well have been my last. Just because I (and hundreds of thousands others) enjoy your store prices we shouldn't be treated as less than I would've been treated at had I preferred to shop with Rite Aid or another large chain.

Also, it is my hope that you will take this letter seriously and perhaps put this stores Manager through some type of customer service and communication trainings.

Thank you for reading this.

Best Regards
Christina L Bennett

Dollar Tree The store is always a mess

Today I went into the Clifton park store as I often do and every single time I go there it is nearly impossible to get to anything I am going there for. They have carts loaded with merchandise to be stocked, I went into this store for specific items and walked out with Nothing! Every thing I wanted I could not get too, the store is always a mess and while there the manager Cindy took a phone call and not in her office she was standing near the registers and it was clear the call was about the mess the store was in because this manager was actually yelling at this customer and after the call she made it clear to her clerks that she has been dealing with complete idiots today and that she had numerous complaints about the mess. I have attached some photos. I get that they have to stock shelves but no one in the store was doing anything about it and they had 1 register open with employees standing around with the manager talking about customers. I HAD all I could do from approaching this manager as I was afraid she would tell at me. I will not make any other trips to this store, it is a complete mess and poor customer service. Something needs to be done about this store
I have been in many of your stores and never have I seen a mess like this.

Dollar Tree manager of store #2451 in picayune, ms

I was shopping in Store #2451 at 231 Frontage Road in Picayune, MS on Sunday 4/22 at about 1 p.m. There were six people in line, all with buggies full, with only cashier open, who was doing her best, but shecalled out for another cash register to be opened. The other lady who was working there was obviously ignoring her, so after several minutes, I called out in my loud (but polite voice), "We need another cashier up here". The other lady did come and open a second register. After I checked out and was loading my purchases into my car, that second lady followed me out to my car to reprimand me for calling out for another cashier. She said that she was the store manager and was on an important phone call. I advised her, having worked in retail myself, that your customers come first and that her own cashier had called out for help and she ignored her. I informed her that my shadow would never grace her store's doorway again and that she needed a class in customer service (I averaged $50 in purchases every weekend).
