Dollar Tree Extremely Rude Employees at Store #4392 Bradenton, FL

Time: about 9:30 a.m. Sunday July 3, 2022.

I would like to file a complaint on the management and staff at the Dollar Tree store located at store #4392. I went in on Sunday July 3rd around 9:15 a.m. purchased 2 bags of ice, a bubble wand and bags of mints. When I went to the register there were 5 people ahead of me and the cashier was ringing slowly causing the line to back up. An African American woman in front of me was disgusted and said there are 4 employees here why don't they open a register to move the line. That's what stores do that practice good customer service. She then walked over to an older woman with long grey hair who walked right by us and asked her if she could ring or call someone up. She just kept stocking and didn't do anything. The lady then came back and said what a terrible employee. I went to the office and knocked on the door because I seen the Mgr. walk right by us also and go in the office. She answered and I asked politely could you get someone to open another register. She said, there is only one person who rings and then said she was on her break, huffed and said I suppose I could ring. I said, it's all about customer service and then she gave me excuses that it's hard to find employees and they all have specific tasks. I said, when you have 4 employees on duty and a line, you need to watch it and get a 2nd person to assist. As I was walking back to the line, I told the lady in front of me that the store just opened and the Mgr. is on her break. The Mgr. heard me and said with a snarky attitude, sir, I've been here since midnight in a rude tone of voice. I said nothing. As the line progressed, I told the lady in front of me she could go ahead to the other line. I moved up and then the heavy set guy behind the register unprovoked started in on me and escalated things. He wouldn't stop and when I poured my 6 items out on the belt he just kept smarting off his mouth so I told him, I've hired and fired many people like you in my carrier who showed poor customer service and rudeness to customers. Any you, would be fired for your rudeness. He then accused me of being rude which just escalated things further.

I am a disabled veteran and have never been treated so unprofessionally by management and staff in any store. It’s very obvious this corporation puts little to no emphasis on customer service.

He just kept mouthing off at me in an offending body posture and threatening verbal language causing my PTSD to escalate. As I grabbed my purchases, he just kept calling me names and finally he walked out from the register and got in my face. I told him three times you better walk it back and be careful what you are saying as I will contact corporate to report you. He just kept insulting me so I asked for his first name and he refused to give it to me. So I said fine, I will just give them a description of you but he just kept insulting me and followed me as I was backing away so on the third time I said you better walk it back chubby and he just would not stop. The Mgr. came over and said, sir you have to the leave, 3 times in between him insulting me in a threatening manner and me telling him how rude he was. Employees like this can easily cause a confrontation that can get out of hand and it does not help that many people who visit this store are elderly or retired people.

I live in the area, and will inform all my neighbors of this store's poor customer service, including the Mgr. who thought her break was more important than helping customers in a long line. If this is the Dollar Tree's corporate Philosophy, then I'd suggest you put these employees through a customer training class including the Mgr. or fire them and start with new people. I'd also like an apology from the manager and this rude employee otherwise, I will seek legal action for verbal assault, threatening body language, harassment, intimidation and other factors. Watch the videos, you will see how this employee came out from behind the register to get in my face and continued on in a threatening manner. This should never happen. All he did was continue to escalate things and a person like that, is high risk for your company.

Desired outcome: I'd suggest you put these employees through a customer training class including the Mgr. or fire them and start with new people. I'd also like an apology from the manager and this rude employee

Dollar Tree store#5112 cashier mercades

today 6/23/2022 at exactly 13:20 at the front of the store, I and my daughter commenced to check out when the next register called next on line. the person in front of me stood on line, so I proceeded to be the next person when your worker Mercedes yelled with such a disgraceful attitude your not next. I tried to explain to Mercedes the attitude was not necessary, she became irate and began to direct comments to me using profanity and provoking me to strike her.

This behavior was uncalled for and unprofessional. Store 5112 is my neighborhood locations and i have had to stop shopping here due to the unprofessional staff. I have put in a complaint with the store manager which was present at the time and did very little to diffuse the situation.

Desired outcome: i would like an apology! please retrain Mercedes in customer service or have her fired due to lack of how to communicate with customers.

Dollar Tree Cashier

On 6 /21/2022 went shopping at Store#5118 placed all my items on the counter to be checked out. Then I placed two reuse able bags on the counter. Cashier checked out all of the items and put the bags on top of the items. Please let me know if dollar tree changed the policy on cashiers bagging items. I ended up bagging the items because I needed the items. I will not be shopping at that dollar tree anymore it used to be a favorite store.

Dollar Tree Chain of command

My name is Krystal. I was wrongfully terminated. With little evidence other than hear say and notes almost a year ago. I endured harassment and retaliation for over a year. HR fiddled around for almost a month before finally claiming to investigate my sexual harassment complaints, and an ethics complaints against my former manager and MONICA.

Tanya has been nothing but rude and condescending. When she cant justify the supposed whys as to why I was terminated. From being termed for dating a fellow coworker because he answered to me. HE didn't answer to me. We didn't or rarely worked together in different departments. I on multiple occasions tried to transfer to another near by location only to be met with excuses or told I had to wait. I don't know what I did to any of these people. I didn't deserve to have my life blown up for wanting to file any complaints including sexual harassment complaints against 3 people. including the store managers brother who was an ASM. She retaliated against me with allegations that were never once brought to my attention. Never was I reprimanded. Just blind sided with half sided crap. I was accused of taking time away from someone. When its on camera that person was late and clocked in at 10:20pm. It had been edited as if he were there on time. which can be proven with cctv and his original clock in time. When Desiree the former SM learned she was going to be caught for lying she walked out on her store, her brother also quitting. Now for the real kick in the face. Sandra Bryan, One of the main people who has a sexual harassment complaint against her quit then gets rehired as ASM. SO what does that say about Dollar Tree.

Everyone but her has quit so what justice do I get? I lost income over one sided allegations from people with complaints against them. Ive combed through the companies code of ethics multiple times.

Desired outcome: I want compensation for all of this. I lost much needed income and personal relationships

One the cashier asked for help because the line was long and she stated you have get use to the long line by yourself. There was about fifteen customers one the line and I asked twice could she open a second register. She statues no and keep fill balloons and there was a few customers that left the store because the lines was long. Poor customer service

Dollar Tree The store in Hermitage Pa

This is more of a concern. The entrance of this store is awful. Cigarette butts and trash is everywnere. It makes the store look dirty. I do shop there. Prices are great on greeting cards, household items, crafts, serving and storage containers. The increase in price is not an issue. Employees are very polite. Store is clean. The entrance lane isn't to bad, but the exit lane has potholes that could damage your car. The store is the end store. There are three other businesses at this location. Their storefronts are better. If I didn't like Dollar Tree, I wouldn't even go inside.

Desired outcome: I would like to see a clean entrance!!

Dollar Tree Rude Cashier / disrespectful, inappropriate behavior.

I am not sure how to explain the lack of professionalism by this cashier. As I waited in line to pay; rather than pay for bags, I organized food items and separated my items into the separate baskets I was purchasing. Some of the items were fragile. I was in shock... the cashier took the baskets with fragile items and literally dumped the out on the counter. I requested she be more cautious with my items. She begins to tell me that she will do it the way she chooses and that she is 55 years old and worked there for 3 years... WHAAAATTTT?

I really had to bite my tongue, but then I had that proud moment... " she must think she's older than me, lol...but, I'm actually much much older than she is, lol lol. lol... Then again, it's very sad to know that this is the type of professionalism we can expect out of a 55 year old. Please have mercy on our youth. Bless our future generations.

What happened to customer service?

Desired outcome: An in person in store apology from the rude cashier replacements for the unusable items and compensation for my time I had to stand there and listen to her degrade me while ringing up my items. She should be fired.

Dollar Tree Entire store

This is and had been for years the filthiest most mismanaged store of it’s type I have ever been in. Once I said that to the cashier who was checking me out and she totally agreed. Today it was the same, filthy floors, products and boxes blocking aisles and no one at the only cash register open. A lady was standing nearby and she saw me but made no attempt to help me. When I asked if she was the cashier she gave me a dirty look and came to ck me out. I told her I was sorry she hated her job but it wasn’t my fault. She replied that she didn’t have a job. I was looking for three items and they only had two. The entire staff especially the manager needs to be fired, the store given a thorough cleaning and pay some new staff with a decent wage.

Desired outcome: I want the store to be as decent as any other Dollar Tree is. If management saw this store they would be appalled.

I work in a dollar tree NEPA. I am shocked that the doors, windows floors, food coolers, soda coolers, cash registers, office door shelves are filthy dirty, plenty of black mold and the several managers who work there claim there is no time to clean. I literally have to sneak clean. If I see black mold I'm cleaning it period. I'm.thinkimg this place is gonna get busted sooner or later they sell food for crying out loud. Supposedly, corporate will not allow them hours or extra staff to clean weekly but this store still makes mad money. I go to other local Dollar Trees and it's spotless. Oh and the district mgr comes to the store. I was like WTF. How can he not be complaining about this. Allegedly he has no former Dollar Tree experience not that it should matter. But typically ladder climbers do not put up with it. Hes gotta go. He was my only hope. I can't do it all sneaking around. It's impossible

We have gone in this Dollar Tree multiple times over the past several years, and it's hard to find anything because the store looks like a tornado went through it, stuff is scattered all over the place the floors are nasty, the worst Dollar Tree I've ever gone in, We complained all they did is make up excuses for the mess, get this store cleaned up.

Dollar Tree Violent attempted assault and Intimidation of Mohammedan Clergy/Muslim of the West by store managers

I am a Moslem of the West and the Grand Chaplain of Mohammedan Clergymen. I shopped at store #2915 on 5/18/22 and was told I could not get an immediate tax exemption because of a store policy. According to the 1st amendment to the Constitution, we have religious freedoms and our exemption is part of those freedoms. I was told by Donnelly that see would give it to me “this time”. She then said “oh, you’re from Chicago!” Then she told Diana, “she’s Privileged”! Diana then said “you can’t get tax exemption because we don’t have the forms anymore! You can get out of here!” I told her “I am a Moslem of the West with Mohammedan Degrees and yes I am Privileged”. Diana then lunged at I as if she was going to hit I, and a male employee held her back. Donnelly and Diana then went towards the office yelling “Get out of here!” I was in fear of being physically harmed and I asked the cashier for their names. At this time another employee said “you have to leave the store now or I will call the police”. I then said, that’s fine you can call the police and I am leaving but I just need their names first”. A customer in line then said “she is entitled to get their names”! The cashier then told me the name of Diana and I left. I was in fear for my safety while in the Dollar Tree Store as the managers are dangerous violent bigots who are ready to attack Asiatics at any moment. There were those who resemble us, murdered in a store just the other day and I was in fear that they were going in the office to get a gun to murder me too! This is unlawful and I will reach out to the US department of Justice and the Provost Marshal as your employees have now created an international incident with these attacks! I want Donnelly and Diana terminated immediately. They are dangerous loose cannons and should not be working with the public. They are racist insurrectionists and in today’s political, social, and cultural climate their action must NOT go unpunished! This is a violation of our treaty of amity and commerce between us and the USA and will be investigated in an international Criminal Court venue.

Desired outcome: I want Donnelly and Diana terminated immediately. They are dangerous loose cannons and should not be working with the public.

Dollar Tree Service

I bought 8 jars and when I got home the were not what I needed

Only 2 people in the store I waited in line for 10 minutes to be told they didn’t take returns

(since when) so I had to wait in line again to get thing that I really didn’t want to get my $10 worth

Also the store is filthy I used to live shopping dollar store but no more

Dollar Tree Landscaping at Dollar Tree: 1550 Kennesaw Due West, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152

This issue has been going on since right after the stand-alone store opened. This was part of the issue for the people that didn't want the store put in. I was not one of them, but do see why they fought it now.

I spoke with the manager and could tell she was overwhelmed with the number of complaints that she receives. This location is next to a country club and in a very nice area (not that that should matter).

I took these pictures yesterday, but I also have pictures from last year that I took when I complained to the manager then.

The manager said that corporate was trying to negotiate a new contract with a landscaper, but that shouldn't matter. Until that is done...hire a temporary service. There are plenty around!

I have contacted the county code enforcement officer and am awaiting a call. I have also emailed them pictures to our county commissioners. We are currently voting on chartering a new city, in which this location will be included. Code enforcement is one of the reasons for the new city being started.

Please take care of this asap.

Desired outcome: Ongoing care is taken of the exterior of the building/landscaping.

Dollar Tree Accused of theft and the manager never apologized. Inept manager

I arrived at the Dollar Tree on 6926 Antoine Dr, Houston Texas 77091 at about 4 pm 05/11/22. Upon arriving I was struck by the fact that there were no baskets to either carry or push. I wanted to get some things, so I proceeded to pick up a cloth bag and I figured I would put my items in it and then buy the bag also. I had been observed by a young man a few times who saw me putting my selections in this bag. I had been through 4 isles and was on my way to the 5th when I stopped to look at the sample products. I found a face wash that I could use since I am visiting from another state. I found the product I wanted to try, and I put it in the bag. After I put it in the bag a woman yelled down the aisle "put that back". I looked around because I knew she couldn't be speaking with me. Instead of yelling down the aisle to explain myself I walked toward the woman. She exclaimed that she was the store manager and for me to put that back. I explained to her that they were out of hand baskets as well as push carts, so I picked up a cloth bag and began putting my selections in it. She did not want to hear anything of the sort. I dumped all the selections I had made onto a check out island and showed her that I had been through half the store using the bag and that I had every intention of paying for all of it. Instead, the manager (tiffany of Estephanie I think) threatened to call the police. So, I said "please do". By the time we walked up to the front there was one pushcart and one hand basket. She was calling the police but wanted me to finish shopping using one of those carts, it made no sense. I would have finished my shopping, but this situation had to be resolved. I was waiting for an apology for the confusion. She was never going to give me that. I waited for the police to arrive because that was the only way for me to get her name. She flat out refused to give it to me. While I was waiting for the police to arrive, I heard 2 employees call her. One what sounded like Tiffany and another that sounded like Estephanie. Also, one young cashier apologized for her managers behavior and for being treated so badly. This young girl had more sense than her own manager. I looked around the store realizing how forgotten not only that store must seem but the people in that community must feel. I often like to buy hundreds of products to donate to the homeless, domestic violence shelters and of the like. It pains me never do business with dollar tree again but how do you resolve this situation? How do I get an apology with any sense of sincerity behind it? Especially coming from a woman with no capacity to apologize.

Dollar Tree The store manager

I went to the dollar tree 2341 main street in Los Lunas one evening a few days ago around 1:30 I got helped from a tall lady a little after that I asked her for help and she was very short and the way she talked to me striked me as being super rude and disrespectful. I was looking at balloons at the time before and I could hear her being disrespectful to her co-worker in her office as well I bet everyone at the store could hear how hateful she was to the coworker. I could hear the girl talking very calm while the manager was yelling at her. I heard her saying she called her bad names which I seen the girl and she looked innocent. The manager shouldn't talk to there employees that way ever.. nor in the tone she did so that others don't hear there conversations. she should be demoted.

Desired outcome: Firing there store manager for the way she handles her employees and for being disrespectful to others.
