Dollar General staff

ghetto talking white girl made it abundantly clear she hates people. so I had proceeded to other line. Much nicer service. Why does DG hire psycho employees whom obviously hate general public, and very open about it. I should lawyer up after this disgusting experience. Please evaluate your employees before hiring them Me and my loved ones were disrespected in this store.

Dollar General employee misconduct

While my granddaughter & daughter in law were shopping in this store, Nov 7th, our great grand baby was walking with us, holding our hand. She temporarily let go of her mom's hand, & from behind, was knocked into a shelf by a dog. The dog came out of nowhere & obviously just wanted to play, but it's not acceptable for there to even be dogs inside, except of course service dogs. There were 2 large dogs that belonged to the employee(s), & were being kept behind the counter when there are customers in the store. There was no apology, no explanation except that they returned the dogs to a place behind the counter, & a small doggie or child gate was closed to keep them in while customers are in the store. I just find this inappropriate for a corporate owned place of business. Although there were no serious injuries, & our grand daughter wasn't hurt, minus being frightened, it would seem this was not acceptable for the animals to be let loose to run the store, especially with food items, clothing, & dishes /linens displayed. We won't be shopping this store again unless this is addressed & the animals are removed, or IF they are service animals, which is doubtful, because they obviously weren't trained, then they should be completely blocked off from interaction inside the store. We don't feel they should have free run of your store at any time. Would appreciate your checking into this issue as the store has provided many conveniences for us since we're far from town. Dollar General working off the clock

Store number 00777 . I have worked off the clock every Saturday for almost 11 months now with only to be fired because they said I was doing bogus returns. Never heard of that but yes I was arrested for theft under $500. I was told three days in a row to not alarm our alarm system. Through my ex boss Anita Spears. I was fired so say doing what another employee was doing and is still doing. I will not stop my fight to clear my name. So someone really needs to see about this situation.

Dollar General stocking

I shop this dollar general daily, I buy dog supplies everyday. The employees will not stock the shelves so inhabe to take my business other places. I have been told by employees the stuff is in the back but hasn't been stocked. I know the shelves in the pet department has been empty for atleast 2 months. Management and employees at this location suck. I've heard other customers complain also while I was in the store on more than one occasion. Thanks.

Dollar General parking lot

The parking lot is very dark especially with the time change the lights do not come on, the side parking lot is also dark. We are concerned for your employees leaving when
the store closes and also driving into the parking lot you could not see the road. We were not sure the store was even open. Thank you for your time .

Yeah, please include more info if you can because this is indeed a very serious / valid concern. A few months ago I was the victim of a hit and run while parked at a Goodlife Fitness here in Canada. The gym staff could care less despite me voicing concerns over their lack of cameras for a place open late at night...

Make sure you try pass this feedback on to corporate so they can work with the property management company to rectify this. It's in their best interest for both customer and staff safety. With the latter likely being there late at night it always helps to have proper lighting, I mean that seems rather straight forward. Thanks for voicing this concern.

Dollar General service

I'm not sure where to go and give a review. So hope this will reach it's proper destination! U here is a lady at the dollar general here in commerce, okla. That is an amazing employee. I was in the store tonight and wasn't able to pay the full amount I had exceeded the amount on my card. She is so kind hearted and I was so embarrassed I didn't have the $ I needed &she took money of her own and helped me pay for the rest. I am so truly impressed it is so hard to find generous, or giving people there's not many left in the world these days her name is angela I think. U should have more employee's like her she is amazing just wanted to let you know that she deserves employee of the month!

Dollar General clover valley cornstarch

After a spoon full of the starch. I found some tooth fragments in the spoon full. After cleansing each piece. I took some pictures and proceeded to contact your company about this issue in order resolve the problem. I have called and left a voice message with my contact information. I purchased a can of Clover Valley Sauerkraut. As i was looking through the can i found what to looks like little pieces of wood or hard pieces of the cabbage stem.This was purchased at a Dollar General.Do you want me to mail the pieces to you?I will never buy your products again.

Dollar General employees/way they are treated

How can someone in this franchise treat their employees the way they do and get away with it? They are not given enough hours in their shifts to be able to do everything that needs to be done! They have to watch registers, help with the truck, take freight out to the floor, put the freight away. All the while, having to watch for customers and ringing them out. And usually there is only 2 maybe, they are lucky, employees there. They only give them a weeks training and expect them to know how to do what is required of them. And there hours are chaotic also. Something needs to be done. Someone needs to go undercover and see how things are done at these stores. High turnover rate and employees are burned out too soon. Could be a great job if they were trained right and were treated right also. And given at least 3-4 employees to make things right in the stores.

As i know someone who was a keyholder there they work them like slaves. Leaves pages of work needed done with threats saying write ups if not done. The girl worked almost every single night. Cuz the store literally had 5 employees. She was only keyholder there. She was hurt when another employee hit her wirh a full freight cart and 3 days later the keyholder was fired for bogus reasons. And not only that but publicity humiliated! The store manager was screaming at her making sure customers heard. Calling the girl horrible names barely let her get her personal belongings! She keeps the cashier who does nothing but bad talks everyone and cant even ring up right without needing something voided. Yet got rid of the one person who did work and the town liked. They are bad people. Dg dont care about character! If they did they wouldn't promote someone like nicki to be a store manager. Look at how many have quit this past year. She cant keep help bc shes kazy and uses all the goof hours on herself while others left fighting for the rest ! Its sad and I think they should shut down every store and properly train managers on human decency oh this was witnessed in camden michigan store number 13823.
After the girl who was fired left the manager was making fun of her and bad mouthing her to every customer who would listen!

Dollar General employee being rude and disrespectful

This is October the 3rd about 10 a.m. I went into Dollar General to pick up a few things I have always shopped at this store since they built it I am a regular customer but today I walked in the store I was in need of some earbuds and the ones they have out on the Shelf are not very good the good ones are behind the registers so I walked up to the registers and of course there's never nobody there to assist you so I went around the edge of the counter where all the products are and I started looking at the earbuds while doing so I was examining know which ones I wanted to purchase and I was there at least 3 minutes standing there by myself or four minutes until this lady that is on duty today this morning rudely jumped over the register the first register and yelled out excuse me all hateful me being the customer there was no signs that says do not enter there was no markings that said do not enter there was nothing there that told the customer not to walk back there because all the products are there that you want to get and look at but this lady proceeded to say excuse me and what are you doing in front of everybody that was in that store and I am very disappointed and I am very aggravated at this lady for saying what she did in front of everybody and I should not had had to listen to that so she said I could hand them to you what's a little bit too late don't you think because I done been back there 3 minutes and found what I wanted so I put it back on the Shelf when I told her no I don't want nothing and I left the building and I don't think I'm going to go back and I think I'm going to tell everybody I know in this town the way that that lady treated me

Dollar General I need 4 duplicate receipt at this dollar general.

Hello I'm Stevie Booker and I lost my wallet and it had 4 green DOT Nascar prepaid credit cards in in my wallet. So I contacted green dot by phone and me and a supervisor cancelled the four. She gave me 4 different account numbers for those credit cards and was promise 4 checks for those lost credit cards. Now it's been over a year and they now asking for a duplicate receipt.

Dollar General the manager nika

The manager in this store chastised me because everyone is saying it's takes too long to checkout I left and came back she was mad because I picked my things up again because I didn't see my things and no one informed they were there she even refused to ring me up. Then in front of my child she is chastising me and uhm hum over and over rolling her eyes and carrying on in a vulgar way I hope this was being recorded sound and visual so that you may see how your manager acted! I was trying to avoid her and she continued to come by the other register blurting our irritating noises. After all this I left the relaxer I was trying to purchase so I went back in to purchase it then I hear on the phone with someone lying about the incident then she walks in announces to the store that she was on the phone with the district manager because I reported her! I have waited for years for a dollar general to be so close although everytime I go in there it takes 30 mins to cash out I still refuse to pass one less than 5 mins away to travel farther to get what I need because of one person. She should not be working there much less a manager. And I have witnesses to everything I'm saying. I have never experienced such foolery! There are several cashiers much more patient and pleasant that should be over such a nice store I will never recommend this store to anyone as long as she is in charge! Furthermore if she says another vulgar thing to me I will be contacting my lawyer but I refused stop going there because of her

Dollar General Itune gift card

I purchased 4 (3 for $100.00 and 1 for $50.00) I tune Gift cards at this location and drove four miles and tried to redeem the cards and all of the $100 cards had already been used. I contacted Itune and told them that was impossible because I had just purchased the cards. They told me to go back to the store immediately because something was wrong or there were double cards printed or something. I did and spoke to the manger Maria, she checked the cards and told me that the cards were loaded with the correct amounts of money. Later I had to return where Maria called Itune and they said that Itune should credit me or refund my money and Itune said that the store should. Well here it is six months later and I am still aiting on $300.00. I truly feel that Dollar General owes me $300.00.

I reside in Campsprings, MD. I decided not to go to the store Anymore! I will NOT Tolerate THIS Individual Stalking me in the store. Dee Dee. Satan the Lord Rebuke you! Dollar General rude manager

Debra who is above the employees at that store was really rude. Not to our face but behind out back and i over heard her. She was complaining about how people are asking where things where even though they come in everyday. I do not go there everyday by the way. It doesn't matter if someone goes there everyday she shouldn't be saying things like that. If she doesn't like her job she should find somewhere else to go.

Dollar General store is always cluttered

Hi my name is teressa turner.. I live at 190 windy ridge lane salisbury nc 28144
I am writing in regards to the store in spencer nc. # 9000.. Every time I walk into that store I can not get down certain isles as there is always boxes in the way. I've complained numerous of times about this but it has fell on deaf ears. I was trying to get one of the tubs today but the manager said she couldn't get to them. I was hoping you could call the store and ask them to at least make the isles accessible... Thanks

Dollar General management abuse to new store manager

I frequent this store nearly everyday. I noticed the new manager working everyday and doing doubles some days for almost two weeks. When I said something about her working so much, she said her district manager said she couldn't have a day off until her store was fixed. That is so wrong ! How can a district manager say such a deplorable thing ! She just recently became manager and that kind of work ethic could kill someone ! The store looks much better than some I have been in. I am including some pictures.

Your store #15686 is a total disaster! I only go there if certain employees are there, and certain ones are not. Never can find anything where it should be. Your store is never really stocked, no sale tags to be found, or current sale flyers as well. Such a shame too, that store was so nice at one time, seems as if management, even those higher up are letting this store become the same as the other store in our town, a dump! Some of the staff are friendly and others are not. I was there this a.m. and the person that waited on me couldn't even smile or be bothered to say hello. What a shame that I now go to the competitor for my shopping in general. I will only be returning to this store if I absolutely have to.

Dollar General store

Got home after shopping. Cashier told me I had 2 bags which I picked up. Several items missing from bags. Tried to call the store for one hour ( 8 tries).

Finally, got in the car, drove back to the store. A third bag with my missing items was behind the counter. Cashier said, well sometimes, they give the wrong information!

I explained I had tried to call to see if the bag was there before I drove back. The cashier said, oh, yeh. The phone hasn't worked for a week. We called our emergency number for the company but nobody ever came to fix it.
The machine to take credit and debit cards was also down. Cash only.

Sometimes needs to look into this store's management.

Dollar General closing early

For about 3-4 weeks now the Dollar General store on Country Club Road in Winston Salem has been opening and closing a random and different times. In past weekends the store was closed the whole weekend. I drove up today to get something from the store and again the sign was up saying sorry we're closed. I took a picture of the sign on the front doors. Already parked in front of the store was a car waiting on the person coming out of the store. During this time I saw at least 10 or more people pull up and get out of the car to enter the store and was turned around by the sign in the window. This is unacceptable and something needs to be done about this.

Dollar General the store

Hi I love dollar general stores but I have lived in brooklyn indiana for 2 years in mooresville mobile home park we have a dollar general with in walking distance so it is very convenient for me to go to but I am very unhappy with this store it is never stocked, never clean so I have to go all the way to town to dollar general just to get small stuff like headache meds or food for my animals among other items... I just wish someone would come visit this store and get it up to standard, to me they never have enough people to get the frieght out. I can usually go in there different times of the day or week and still see empty shelves with product sitting on the floor or on the l carts. Very unhappy shopper

Dollar General manager of the store

October 22, 2019 complains to the store manager in Phoenix Az that is located at 67ave and van buren dollar general, a short lady who didn't know her name but rather arrogant. I asked to check a product and began to say that we all wanted things for a penny that she preferred to grab Everything and throw it in the trash so as not to be struggling with people. then he accused me that I had put things in turmoil with others. and I told her that was not true. I was waiting for an employee to put soap for me to finish my shopping and she told him not to put it to do something else and to finish I asked mr for a box and she yelled at me that I couldn't ask for the box. I had never felt so humiliated Like that day. I hope you can do something
