Dollar General trash

This store has not been clean or safe to walk through since it opened... There is trash outside and it looks terrible... Why do the stores in the poorer communities always look bad?

The employees are nice but why is the store so nasty... Only once have I ever seen the floor clean

What do we have to do to get the floor mopped or the merchandise cleared from the floors... Tired of the obstacle course stepping over boxes

Dollar General the firing of store manager at the rhinelander store

I'am shocked at the firing of a Dollar General Store Manager here in Rhinelander, Wisconsin and the crazy thing about is the Manager before her was one of the worst Managers ever all the crap he did coming in already drinking being disrespectful to not only customers but co workers also and all the policies and procedures he bent and broke and the complaints against him did they fire him no they just moved him to another store so he can be an [censored] to other people. I will never shop at this store again.

Dollar General assistant manager

I was on schedule for 6am on this day 04/16/2019 I woke up and realized I was running late for work so I called in several times even sent a text to the assistant manager explaining why I was gonna be late.
When I did arrive at 7:30 I entered the building hearing the assistant asking who it was then she told me I needed to hand over my keys I then procedded to call the Manager and the assistant procedes to call me a lier in front of customers and vendors outside threating to whoop my A** calling me a *itch and everything else . I have only had one write up since I have started .I was a lead sales and when I was their I was working we have had several complaints on her and management the place is lacking in management skills Nobody gets to take a break cause management want relieve them from register manager is never their and when she is she brings her husband to work with her so he can help .

Dollar General unprofessional manager and employees

I want something done for 2 of your employees slandering my name around town. Jessica Bennington and the manager Kevin Legg at your French creek, wv 26218 store. For a month now Jessica Bennington has repeatedly told members of my family and other people I know that the cops r coming to talk to me about me stealing from the store. I never stole anything I was buying a purse, wallet, and a bunch of the little makeup bags and I put all of them inside the purse I intended to buy also to make more room in the cart. I did tell Kevin Legg, the manager, this exact same thing and even showed him that everything was in the purse with all the tags still on them. If he intended to push the issue he shouldve mentioned that to me at that time while I was there in person or should've contacted me personally instead of gossiping with his employees and them spreading it all over town. I've heard this from multiple people for a month yet not once did the manager Kevin Legg or any of his employees even tried to contact me to inform me of anything. I paid around $200.00 for everything that evening and now I wish I wouldnt have ever walked in and I will not be shopping there anymore until something is done to give me some justice since my good name has been tainted because Jessica Bennington and Kevin Legg want to conspire and gossip all over town like a children. My lawyer will be contacting you if I dont hear back from u soon about how u intend to handle my injustice.

Dollar General customer service

Went into the Dollar General in Imboden Arkansas to purchase a gift card to give to a single mom who needed some help. I asked the manager how much the activation was since I had seen a sign up that they was one sale. She informed me that it should be 2.95 I purchased a 90.00 gift card went to leave the store noticed it was 4.95. After asking the manager who was not very nice she informed me sign was for a totally different card that was across the store. I asked her if they could refund the card to honor the sign and she said no. I was very upset because the signs was up, and it wasn't honored. She said there is no way to fix this issue after purchase, and admitted that the sign was for a different card.

Dollar General management

I'm really wanting to know when y'all start letting non-employees behind the counter in the office. This particular store a management employee always has her boyfriend up there when she is working and sometimes behind the counter in the office. I think it should be checked out due to bad things happening in that store. Something needs to be done about this store management.

Dollar General store is a mess!!

The store's isles are lined with carts of merchandise You cannot get to the shelves to find anything without moving the carts. It is always a mess It is the only store to shop in McCamey and it is very hard to find anything that you need. Several people have complained to the corporate office and it never seems to be resolved for more than a couple of days! There are not enough workers and it seems to be very much over loaded

Dollar General manager would not exchange item given to me in error

Went to DG #02633 in Mountain View, Arkansas and asked for Pyramid 100 Red cigarettes. The clerk gave me Misty Blue which is over a $1.50 more expensive. Did not discover this until I arrived home, well over 10 miles from the store. Went back the next day to exchange them and store manager refused. I ended up with cigarettes I don't smoke that cost me $6.00 more than I should have paid. If the store is at fault, the exchange should have been made without question...

Dollar General store manager

I went in this store around 3 pm on the 12th and the manger was intoxicated he was kicking beer on floor on the side that they hardly use by the bodywash so I helped him put the beer on the counter he sure did give that store a bd name cause no manger should b at work intoxicated I hope u all can watch camaras and see what I am talking about something needs to be done asap cause that is not good on ur comstumers and employee s

Dollar General cashier refused to wait on me

Cashier (Lisa) refused to wait on me at my visit today. I had to wait until another employee would wait on me and let me pay for my stuff. I'm in this store several times a week since I live 2 miles away. The cashier is a manager at another store (jackson, ohio) i know her because I was a 3rd party working in her store occasionally, I would hope the managers be polite to customers, not refuse to take my money. I will not be shopping at this location anymore, nor will my family.

Dollar General atlanta ga 30310

I have never experienced a more frightening shopping experience in my life. I decided to go into this location because the DG near my home closes at nine and I needed to get some allergy medicine for my daughter. I entered in the store 30 mins. prior to closing and decided to try my digital coupons that I had just linked to the new account that I started. I went ahead and got my tissue and razors that were on sale and got a couple of things that were on the clearance shelfs. The first thing, the pricing for the clearance was wrong, they had a 50% sign up when it was actually 70% off. But the everything got heated when the cashier got upset when one of my selected clearance item rung up .1! I was happy that I had found such a bargain. He began to tell me that he couldn't sell this to me at that price and that he would have to charge me the regular price. I asked how is that when it is in your system at that price. He would not sell me the item! He called his manager, approached me in my face when I asked for his name, the manager name and the general managers name! He stated his name, with his social and his mother's name. At this time I am afraid, I am the only person (women) in this store at closing with three men associates that work for this store! He refused to let me purchase the penny item along with the other items I had! I have never been treated in such a manor! How can you not honor what your system is pricing!? I really want to talk to the general manager of the store and have him play the tapes back of the store #19003 at 10:04 pm on 04/12/2019 at the register. This is how your employees treat a paying customer! I will never shop at this location, scared to shop at others!

Dollar General medical supply

I've been to store that's located in leland ms to purchase 4x4 gauze for months now.. But lately they haven't been stocking or cleaning the area that has the medical supplies.. They've hired new ppl and they think their only suppose to run the register and not keep the shelves stocked and its sad because that's the only store I can find this product.. I asked about the item and they lie like a shipment just arrived and I go the next day and no product or have they straighten the items on the shelves

Dollar General employee

My husband went in to buy some ratchet straps and he had some trash we wanted to throw away. On his way in, there were no trash cans outside the store, so he asked the lady employee if there was a trash can he could throw the trash in. The lady sarcastically told him if he had something to throw away, she would take it this time, but for future reference, he would need to make other arrangements and she would not do it again. He was not asking her to throw it away, he just wanted to know if there was a trade can. She was being very ignorant to customers- a man wanted to know a price on something and she said she couldn't scan it, cause she would get in trouble for too many voids. When my husband got up to pay, he asked her if she was having a rough day, and she said yes, and started complaining about management and how they can go to lunch and not get in trouble but they can't. And something about her keycard. She was pretty much airing her personal grievances about the company. By the way, we are from out of town, and we will not be stopping there again.

Dollar General store mgr amy

upon visiting DGS 00199 the store mgr, Amy was very short and rude towards customers and myself. This lady openly discusses employee personal issues and talks really bad about the ASM, Sheryl every time I am in the store. To be honest with you I would not visit this store if it were not for the help and service I receive from all employees except that mgr Amy. She has terrible people skills and should be replaced . Hopefully we the community will see changes in the manager in our DGS very soon so this store does not go further down.

Dollar General manager

North Webster, Indiana- Store manager : Melissa Bruder is a horrible manager, she constantly bad mouths her employees. She keeps inventory in the back room until it pennies out and than steals it. She goes to other stores and bad mouths her workers to other managers. She plays favorites with assistant manager and let's her make her own schedule and schedule a bunch of days off without using vacation. Her husband comes in and swears at the employees. She sits on her phone constantly instead of working.

Dollar General store and manager

There are many problems that I have seen at this store. First of all, the manager (Sam) has been cutting hours of certain employees because they are "slow" at recovers, stocking, etc. I understand employees need to be faster and get the store in order and fixed, but how are employees supposed to work on getting faster when they are cut down to one, six hour day? The employees they are cutting hours for also have disabilities. That's discrimination. Also, how is anyone supposed to make money when they don't get the hours? This is the only job some people can get. They have bills and other things to pay. Another question, why are there "now hiring" signs hanging around the store when they won't even give the employees they have the hours?

Second, the corporation itself does not give enough hours. It is ridiculous to have to stand in line for 10 minutes, especially if you only have 2 or 3 things to buy. It's nothing to do with the employee's speed, it's the fact that there are only 2 or 3 people that are available to get on the register. Also, how is the store supposed to get recovered completely if there are only 2 people (if that) on recovery? Once again, nothing to do with speed. I've done recovery before. You can go as fast as you can and everything you've done will still get messed up because of the amount of customers that come behind you.

I have heard many complaints about Sam and I have a few myself. He has a cocky attitude and is trying too hard to be in an authority position. An employee can be trying to answer a question for an employee, and he will come around the corner and stare at the employee, assuming they are having a full blown personal conversation. He has been there for about a month and a half, and the store not only looks like crap, but he has not formed a good relationship with the employees or a good reputation with the customers.

Something needs to be done about the hours and the manager in this store.

Dollar General store is never stocked!

I want to know why my store is never stocked.The medicine is almost never stocked.Since the remodel there is never anything in stock.I use to buy mouse traps there, now they never have them.I buy drink sticks that you add to water, never stocked anymore.I use to love stopping in, now I hardly ever shop here.Why is this store never stocked?I have to live on a limited budget, so I like the Dollar General to help me save money.But I can never find the stuff I need anymore.

Dollar General assistant manager

Assistant manager is very rude, rolls her eyes when asked for help from another customer, gossip to other customers about other employees and ask customers to write a bad review about them, I shop at this store since it has opened but her attitude towards employees and customers is getting worse, she don't wear a name tag so I had to ask her for her name and she kinda gave me attitude, She complains about the new manager says she don't have a clue what she's doing and on and on.My opinion the manager and a few other employees are doing a great job the store hasent looked this good in years.All in all bad employees like her make it hard for customers to wanna come back .Thanks for letting me voice my option Telia

Dollar General employee

The store located on Mayhan Gap rd Tn 37363, has a female employee named Macy Miller, who is very disrespectful and rude to all the customers I've seen her check out. Furthermore she talks very inappropriate for everyone to hear. I would like to see something done about this because I frequently shop there out of convenience as its located close to home. I've also heard that alot customers will not be shopping at the Dollar General again after having delt with her.

Dollar General customer service staff at location

My Husband and I were working out at the gym next door to this Dollar General location at approx. 11am on 4/7/19. My husband informed me that he needed new socks. So I told him that we could go after working out next door to the Dollar General which we had been going to for a while now in the past. When we entered the store and went down to look for socks, a rude voice yelled out and said, hey maam you have to leave your nap sac at the front resister, it is store policy. I looked around and look at this person and said, I am sorry are you talking to me?. She said yea you, I looked at her and told her that I have my wallet in here and that we just came from the gym next door and that do you ask everyone to leave there purse at the resister when them come in?. She stated "If need be". WOW, I was so taken back by her language and her so un perfessional attitude towards me. I understand that there are people who steal items and that some people have to be watched, but I and my husband have done nothing wrong but entered to store. You need to correct your staff behavior. I used like going into this store, but now I need to start going to the Family dollar store. much better upper class employees. If this you store policy I know you will have a lot more people angry as well. This is discrimination towards me.
