I once worked with the company. Enjoyed the customers for the most part. Worked with some great woman. Had issues with the night cashiers jobs that were put upon me. I had to go light duty so that helped some. Came to the point where I couldn't do my job as night cashier and offered mornings/mids on the days she had open. At that point she was no longer willing to work with me, she let me go. We went through a few employees during my time. The only constant with this store is that when the manager works, her boyfriend is there. He is either standing/following customers to see if stealing, hovering over the gate to registers when she is at them. Always jumping in guest conversations, directing wherever they might need to go. Helps with truck, recovery, hangs in stockroom when she's back there. I was just wondering if that was normal or does every employee get to have that benefit? Time and time again she has gotten away with it. We would get in trouble for not getting much done while she is getting her stuff done plus with help. Now, I was told to go to another store and shop. I gave her a few days to get over it. And now they both ignore me and my husband. It isn't how a manager should be to a customer. Civil not rude.

Store 14211 kalida ohio. This manager is a very rude lady. When she talks with me she just laughs like I'm a joke. She always has a comment on how she is fully staffed like, she don't need any help. Ok, so answer me this. When I shopped there today, Rolltainers were at every endcap. It was very hard to get thru the aisle. Shelves were not recovered and low. So, miss manager. Stop talking down to me, talking to me like I'm a joke. You obviously do not have the staff that knows how to take care of your store. Your place looked no different than any other dollar general. Maybe if you gave me a position, your stock would be on the shelves instead of sitting in the boxes on Rolltainers. Lower your ego and stop acting like you are better than others.

Melvin Veach stalks me and he works at the Laverne Oklahoma Dollar General he rang up 4 charges on my credit card this morning and it took all my money for food. He pretended he was on the phone with your central office. And told me all my money was put back on my credit card...but he stole my money! Why is this going on here in Laverne Oklahoma? How can workers be allowed to target and steal money from customers? He took all my money off of my card! And then lied to my face! Sick of him and a couple of others who steal from me and others!

I called the dollar general and talked to a Lilly the assistant manager last night @ 9 pm. I informed her that the delivery truck running outside the store should be turned off by 12 I was being generous with the time. Your company prides themselves on putting there stores in small communities, well guess what ? Our bedrooms are right outside that store. The law states and this is the law # 2018-15 . No noise, back up horns, truck noise after 11 @ night. Here it is 3 am in the morning and the truck is still running. I've complained recently about delivery trucks b/4 8 am now I am complaining about trucks running all night. The drivers spend the night in the truck and leave it running overnight while they sleep, .unfortunetly I am not able to sleep. It's detrimental to my health. Called the police he turned it off right b/4 they got here, after they left it started again. Three strikes and your out. Unfortunately you don't take this serious b/c it goes on now everywk enough is enough so many complaints and the city will fine you maybe that would be better since being nice and writing to you and calling the store isn't enough. This won't be the last time you hear from me b/c tomorrow morning I will be @ the store complaining to your manager. I will leave my name And number tomorrow with the store manager about this problem and hope that it will be rectified

To whom it may concern;
   I've sat on this for about 3 weeks now, hoping that my feelings would pass, and they were just due to my son's bad experience working at the Bonne Terre Dollar General Store. But the longer I think about it the more upset I've become, and have decided to give you all an option to take care of this problem before I'm forced to.
   We live in a small town, so everyone knows everyone's business. While waiting in the checkout line, a friend of ours listened to your cashier named El talk and tell lies about my son and family's personal business. In particular that we have guns at our house. She has ABSOLUTELY no business sharing that information with ANYONE! If I hear anything else like this, I WILL file a lawsuit against Dollar General without hesitation.

The store manager Bard me from two stores for a shoplifting incident that I was not even involved in no police report was made no arrest was made. I'm highly embarrassed I am highly inconvenienced as Dollar general is the only store in my town to shop when she told me that I was not allowed in the store she screamed it across the parking lot which caused further embarrassment I have spoken to a lawyer about this he says I have a very good case if you cannot resolve this and this lift my name of that list then my attorney will file suit against you for everything possible. I made a verbal complaint with someone at your corporate headquarters a week or so ago and I have not heard back from anyone my attorney suggested that I make this attempt to resolve this on my own before he gets a hold of it. So today I am asking that you tell Vicky to leave me alone . For her to lift my name of the band that she has me for two stores Dutton and section as I did not get caught shoplifting, I no police were called no report was made and there was certainly no arrest. It seems to me this lady has no has no case against me therefore I should have the choice to shop at Dollar general if I want to Sincerely, Amy Allen August 22, 2019.
