When I became full time employee I was guaranteed no less than 32 hours a week. With the new store manager I'm getting under 32 hours. I've asked her several times not to schedule me under 32 hours but she still proceeds to do it anyways. My other complaint is I'm recently being demoted back to sales associate position. The DM said it was because me not having a driver's license wasn't approved by human resource for me to be a key holder and ASM. Just wondering how I was able to promote up. DG knew I didn't have a driver's license when I started there over a year ago. The reasoning for no drivers license is Medical.

Nancy associate at the monroe NC store on sunset crused, yelled and accessed my grandchildren of destroying and stealing from her store they are 12, 11, 4 I didn't appreciate her inappropriate behavior and I asked for information such as manager and her name since she had no name tag I ended up calling the police because her boyfriend got in my face and eS yelling g and cursing at me as well o seriously thought I was going to hey hit, one of my grandchildren is brain damage and was very upset that the lady was yelling and was confused she needs to be disciplined for her behavior, this is verbal abuse on children the officer viewed the video tape and told me the children didn't try to Steal anything or destroy the store but the 4 yr old did in fact throw the hrsdy shape cushion on the floor and the other did bounce a ball and put it back

The manager talks to her employees like they are dirt beneath her shoes. She degrades them in front of customers. Ive heard her ask one of them if they were an idiot. Ive heard her tell them they are stupid. And ask in a demeaning manor if they could read. And thats just in two visits. Also i was a customer there on one occasion and on my way out she told a cashier" see everytime i try to do anything here they(customers) they come in like grazing cattle so i cant get anything done). This store gas only been open a week or less.

I was absolutely besides myself to arrive to my dollar general store on April 24, 2019 @14:37 to see 3 of your employees standing right outside the door smoking...it looks trashy! I have never seen these employees before and I have been going here for 2 years.
I want to know what your company policy is for smoking on the property.
This really makes your company look stupid and bad!

I walked in the store to return a doggy item I purchased the day before upon going to the register the manger says to me didn't you just go back there and get this from the back of the store I literally just walked through the door to the counter she didn't even ask me for my proff of purchase which I had because I purchased with my debit card I feel this was so un professional as it could get I felt stereotyped the store # 07773 when I showed her my debit statement and she did the return and seen it was the same amount she apologized but she said this in front of customers I'm beyond pissed to be treated that way

I've been into plenty of dollar generals before and I have a friend that lives in the winnebago ne area and asked if I could stop and buy them some milk so I said ok dollar general down there will probably have some so I stopped down to get some milk but to my surprise the coolers were dirty as [censored] I've seen cows with cleaner [censored]s then that cooler I about gagged and puked but I got out of the building as quick as i could was going to go through up in the bathroom first but it was closed when i tried to get in the door it was looked I asked why the door was locked he said no public restrooms and I really left and didn't left as soon and as fast as I could I will never shop at dollar general again if this is how they are run and the sad thing is this is one of the only places to get stuff you have to travel always to get some of the stuff that you could have got ust right there in winnebago ne not pleased 2 thumbs way down👎👎and zero stars

I'm not sure what happened with changing of staff, but my store has gone downhill and is almost unshoppable! This store is NOT what I expect from my neighborhood Dollar General. It wasn't always like this and I would truly like to see this store addressed. There are items all over the place, out of place, and definitely tripping hazards. There's rarely someone ready to serve you and if they are, they certainly are not very customer friendly. There's an attitude of "I don't wanna be here". Please help this store become what it once was and surely can be.

I was charged a 76.00$ pre authorization fee at The store in Mulberry, AR. This is outrageous. The one I use down towards my work has never charged such an outrageous amount. My problem is that my debit cleared 2 days later an I still have not gotten the 76 back . I discussed with management 3 different times and no resolution. I finally went to my bank to file a dispute. The other issue is because I didn't know it didn't get put back and I ended having 2 overdraft fees in the amount of 70$. I went back to the store to complain. He gave me a number to send my personal info too. Not happening. Their fault. I should not have to do the leg work. This has been 3 weeks now. I'm very upset and intend to file a complaint with the BBB and go to local news because no where in the store does it say there is such a Huge charge. I contacted all other DG that have gas and the most I have found is a 5$ charge. I use the one on my way to work at least once a week and have NEVER had more than 1$ authorization fee. If I wanted to go in and buy a prepaid card I would do it at Walmart. The point is convenience. Pull up, use your card and get back in you car after filling up. I'm so upset that this has not been taken care of. For people who live paycheck to paycheck, 145$ is a lot to pay for 23$ worth of gas

The assistant manager at your store at 830 27 th street have been borrowing money from the safe and the store manager is allowing her to do so. She has been doing it for over a year, she has a felonies on her background and shouldn't be working for DG. Her name is Krista Bradley. I work with her in the store and she not only takes the cash for her many emergencies but she also helps herself to merchandise as well as constantly steeling company time while she leaves the store unattended and leaves the premises.

To whom it may concern, my name is lee guzman and I am writing this complaint due to an incident at the el dorado, texas location! I passed through that location on 4/20/19 at approximately 5.00 pm on my way home from san angelo to sonora. I stopped at the eldorado location to pick up items that I had forgotten to purchase in san angelo.in entering store I was in need of using the bathroom facilities and I did so prior to looking for items in need. To my astonishment as I left the male bathroom, the clerk asked me if I had used the woman's bathroom, I said "excuse me" and she asked me again! My reply to her was, "I used the back door," "is that the males?" she said yes and so I told her then that was the one I used! Well, I said besides why would I use the woman's? I have no business in the woman's. Her reply was, oh because you came around the corner so fast! I said to her, well I do not disrespect women like that! Besides i'm clearly a male! I proceeded to go get items and realized that the accuser had made me feel uncomfortable, so because of that I decided to leave! I walked out with the clerk say, "thank you," sarcastically and I had no respond! She could have said, "i'm sorry," but with her grin she shared it made me believe she had no clue of reality and ethical professionalism! Please be aware that I will share my experience just to make people aware of what they may be facing at the el dorado general dollar location! Thank you for your time! Oh by the way, instead of the clerk accusing potential customers of wrong doing, she should have been cleaning the filthy bathroom's and aisles!

I shop alot at dollar general and I do use coupons alot. I made a large purchase of over $150 a few weeks ago and got some house hold decor and my daughter grabbed alot of items. I was in a hurry so I just bought them all and left and was going through it when I got home. It was 2 weeks later when I was able to return and I could not find a reciept. I came to a store I dont shop at much any more because of the rudeness I have recieved from them. I have never once made a return to the dollar general. Not one time. But the first time I do I get accused of trying to return things I used coupons on. This was not true. It was decor and folder and things that my daughter had thrown in the cart. I am very upset because of being accused of this just because I try to get good deals. I might use coupons alot of the time but I also do my regular shopping here and I spend alot of money at dg. I do appreciate the dm manager letting me return my stuff but I do not appreciate the cahier nichole.

On April 18, 2019, I sent my neighbor to pick up keebler peacan shortcake cookies .I called the and spoke with asst.manger rob I stated to him I'm disable I'm sending my friend to pick up cookies could you please get for me and he has autism, the cookies were wrong call asst manager in a arrogantly yelling that not our job to shop for you he threatened me with police and banned me from store and would not wait on me only my friend he gave my friend free bag of keebler cookies that was his guilt he's not friendly at all coming from my point of view he also had a lady friend sitting on sale price chair she was their an hour my friend stated she was their during the purchase she stated to me I don't work here yet sitting and talking with asst manager that complaints about stocking store when you have a question to as him, I'm would like to file a grievence on asst manager rob who is very unprofessional.

I was at dg a few weeks ago and was standing in line to checkout while employee was telling another customer about how she had quit a job at a school she had worked at and how she was sick of working at dg and that she hated the other employees and her boss. Heard her say how she was gonna try to get certain employees fired because she had been working there longer and the other employees had a higher position. I stood there waiting to check out while she gossiped with this customer for 5 min. I will not be returning to the davis okla dg store 01989

I live in phx, az and I frequent the dollar general on 26th avenue and northern, zip code 85051. And there is a male who is the manager, his name is matt. I can tell you he is the most disrespectful, judgemental and rude store manager I have ever had to deal with in my life! He seems to think that everyone that comes in that store is beneath him. He's even gone as far run out the store after homeless people and buff up to them like he was going to beat them up I have witnessed this with my own eyes they weren't even in the store. He's also put me in a very embarrassing situation accusing me of returning an item that he claims someone tried to return prior to me that day. I have a cash receipt no reason be questioned and no clue what he was talking about and he tried to accuse me in front of at least 10 people it was very embarrassing and he was wrong he's rude and i'm going to go as low as to tell you he is a [censored]bag and he's the worst choice of a manager anybody ever possibly think of having run their store. I have even witnessed him belittle his and fellow employees and talk really mean things about them a couple isles over so the cashier can actually hear him talking bad about her I felt so bad for this girl she was so embarrassed she wanted to cry. You people really need to decide what's best for your store maybe one manager and can it change all the customers you have but that man is going to end up getting in a serious situation with somebody and one day they will not put up with his crap and they will probably hurt him when he comes out of the store that's how rude he is it's disgusting and I really think you need to do some investigation into this manager I am not the only one i'm sure who has complained about him he is that disgusting. I'am shocked at the firing of a Dollar General Store Manager here in Rhinelander, Wisconsin and the crazy thing about is the Manager before her was one of the worst Managers ever all the crap he did coming in already drinking being disrespectful to not only customers but co workers also and all the policies and procedures he bent and broke and the complaints against him did they fire him no they just moved him to another store so he can be an [censored] to other people. I will never shop at this store again.
