#13237 this store is miss managed the cashier at 9:30 am was on Phone talking to another store was not paying attention to her Cumstomer. You don't talk on phone while doing transaction with a customer . she had my order mix up i was doing food stamps and i told her. I worked in retail this is no. Store alisa are feel with stuff that supposed to on shelves. If someone one falls you could be sued.

This particular employee has been rude, but me and my wife off while speaking, and generally lazy. I often visit this store, since it is near my home. This young girl seems to hate her job and dealing with people in general. I let it go at first. Hey, everyone has a bad day. This girl is just miserable and ride all the time. If she doesn't like dealing with people, maybe she should work somewhere else. I've found another store to stop at on my way home from work so I don't have to deal with her anymore.

Extremely disappointed in your recent downsizing and crappy repacking of the 1.00 pizzas. They are now tiny, and they are also damaged and ruined because they are in a [censored]ty plastic wrapper...that in fact, just goes toward polluting our earth. Congrats...someone had a bright idea, and completely made them worthless. In fact, several of the products I shop at DG for have recently downsized. Or, in other words...raised the price ridiculously. Finding fewer and fewer reasons to stop ar DG. Even Kroger is A better deal.

Went to shop there on 4 14 19. Was gonna buy some area rugs. While looking at the rugs the manager yelled from the other end of the aisle saying those are full.price.I continued to look and as I brought 2 to the front the cashier said she would NOT check the price. I knew they were 70 percent off about a week ago. I asked for her name she said NO. I told her I wanted the rugs and she refused to sell them. I Was willing to pay full price.Again a NO! I put them back and left. I thought about it and went to get them about half hour later and they couldn't be found. Pulled from the floor. This was about 230pm. I was never so embarrassed. The other customers heard all of this! She had no nametag on at all. I won't be shopping at ANY one of your stores it's not worth the aggrevation.

Timmonsville sc very rude employee very nasty white female in her 50s wears glasses always screaming at my 5yr old daughter she even scares her when she see's her she hides she's the store maneger you can't ask her about items or price check cus she gets mad i rather drive 10/35 min away to the store's in effingham/florence

this lady hates children and her job why would someone hire someone as mean as her and as annoying as her no matter how nice and politely i talk to her shes always being mean and always screaming at my daughter for everything shes racists i guess since im mexican cus to everyone else she's polite always nasty to me wish there was someone i could talk to about her they need to fire people like her that hate there job i mean don't take out on me and my daughter for you hating your job

Buckeye store jackrabbit and Elliott and several supervisors are very rude and give customers hard time and get mad and nasty when a lot of items say are on sale and when they ring up they are not the right price and instead of the supervisor making it right they make rude comments and have co-workers check prices and still don't give the price then they go and check the price and leave other customers standing in line and I am turned off and tired of how ride the management is rude and need to replace because they don't like their job and this store is going to lose money because of the rude people you have representing your store does not make you look good and I will go and spend my money at another store that apperciated my business

I was an assistant manager after my manager trained me for a higher position not long after he was fired from the store leaving me to hold the store down. I was promised my own store but first had to show a new manager what to do, Mind you I was not getting any manager training pay for these new managers I was training this was a job for the DM not me, this new person who had no management experience at all worked at a Walmart as an assistant never had people to look over but had no clue how to do a Dollar General trying to show him everything he just did not want to learn or do anything leaving me to once again do it all, he soon left doing no call no show days, so thinking I may have that store held it down again only for the second time bringing in another person yes that person came from Family Dollar I had to show him things because there were areas he did not know still being told I would be getting my store to run. Yes, I was lied too they only used me to show them the ropes and thinking I would stay, I feel not only did they use me they abused me so they did not have to do their job in training these managers the right way. My record for this store never called out never late than when I heard they had no intentions of giving me a store I had enough and handed in my keys mind you this was a job I enjoyed until the lies came in they stole the joy of working there. They use good people and they cater to the one's that do not work. Had enough Karma will come to them. I can hold my head high and say I gave this job 100% of myself my record shows it. Do you think someone would of contact me to see why I left "NO" because they don't care.

I have done surveys in hopes of someone taking action. Woman yells at her employees in front of customers until they quit or cry then laughs it off like people are lesser than her. Has zero professionalism in her work ethic to belittle customers as well as neglect her duties to the store. I will take my business and advise others to take theirs elsewhere.

I stopped at dollar general located at 1895 e. Sangamon ave, springfield il on sunday, may 12, 2019 to buy a bag of ice. I walk in and get in line behind the woman who was currently being checked out. Another lady walks up behind me in line, and a moment later another cashier walks up and starts checking out her items. He didn't bother to direct the next person in line... Which would have been me... To come up to get rung out. Then, after he got done checking her out, the cashier started walking away leaving me standing there! I couldn't believe it, I said "what am I chopped liver"? At this point, another employee walked up and responded to me "well, did you tell him (the cashier) you were here"? He was blaming me! I couldn't believe it. I said, I am the customer it is not my job, I said it is your job for ensuring that you are taking customers in order. He was very confrontational from the very beginning and he continued to argue with me and was very combative. He was acting like he was some kind of "tough cookie" and came across as very argumentative, threatening, and down right mean to me. I didn't back down, though and stood my ground but in doing so I let a bad word slip out (I wasn't cussing at him), I was standing there trying to defend myself and let them know they were wrong. So he took that opportunity after I let out the word "[censored]" out of my mouth to "kick" me out of the store. He actually had the gall to say "i'm not going to let you talk to me that way". Nevermind the fact that he was talking to me much much worse. I said, fine, I don't want to do business here anyway if that is the way you are going to treat your customers. So I left, got into my truck and as I was pulling out of my parking spot, he and the culprit cashier actually rushed out of the store to "make sure" I left. They were trying to intimidate me... Acting like they were some kind of "tough guys". Against a little 5'1" mother... On mothers day no less. I will never shop at dollar general again... I should never be made to feel threatened, nor, humiliated like that as a paying customer. I encourage you to review the surveillance tapes to see the exchange that happened. I am asking that you look into this and ensure that your employees are properly trained to respect your customers and not make them feel threatened.

Got fired for a family emergency. Called in and manager on duty said it's ok she will just call someone else in to fill in... I told her I could come in i was just going to be late but she said it's ok I will just call someone in ... So I didn't worry about it then next day I am fired... The manager cusses about customers.. Writes notes like customers are stupid... One day she got so mad at a customer I thought she was going to have a heart attack.. The manager is always taking smoke breaks and eating while at the register... That's what she gets paid for insulting customers and eating and smoking on the clock... I was never late and a very hard worker... I have 6 kids to support. Plus I am homeless. I was looking for a place but without a job, I will be homeless longer... i hope the manager has a family emergency and someone fires her... Dollar General just fired a homeless mother of 6 trying to get her life straight... Let's see what social media thinks...

About 3 weeks ago I went to DR to buy some things I needed. It was on a Sunday. And all the $ I had was$9 dollars in penny rolls. I was told by your manager (lady) I don't recall her name, that she would accept them if I would open each roll and count them out one by one. The clerk had said all she needed to do was weigh them as always. But your new manager was just a "[censored]". I don't have any other way to say it. She stated she was not a bank, and that I should have taken them to the bank. This was on a sunday. I left, went to stater bros, who had no problem with my penny rolls. I used to frequent your store at least 3 to 4 times a week. Workers always make smart [censored] coments and absolute caos in whole store. All emploees do is stand out side of store and smoke? Please clean up this store. Isles completely lined with goods. Always trying to short change someone. And always even when your trying to be nice will always come back with some smart elick remark and most of the comments are sick. I mean vulger. I always try to be a good christian but this store really takes it's toll on even the best of people. I know people are stretched these days. But no job should put up with this kind of employee's. I'm not the only one around here to see this and maybe this is a waste of my time. But I feel other people have probably also expressed concerns over this store. I'm not saying to get rid of these people. But maybe no they do need more supervision. Maybe some camera time on the employee's

For the past few months I've been having issues with her, throwing my change at me when I check out. And talking down to me in front of other customers.. She's been living under my roof for the past few months. She's not be very communicative with me. Her reason for that is because I'm dating her ex boyfriend.. Whom she says she still loves. She's has been telling other customers that I have been banned for a week or so now. And tonight she's saying I was banned, but wouldn't give me a reason why.. Tonight I was humiliated in front of other customers in the store. She commenced to telling me to get out, while standing beside my boyfriend, Mike, and said I was banned from the store, and every other store in the district.. I want something done about this.. I have a well respected name in this community, and I have several witnesses of what happened tonight. Also witnesses concerning some of the other incidents.. This is only a conflict of interest, of a young girl trying to take things into her own hands, all because of jealousy..

I would like to start off by saying I was accused of stealing about a year ago in witch I did not steal. I checked out and I used my card and it paid partial payment in witch I was not aware of cause the cashier did not say anything next thing I know the store manager cane out to my store and asked if I was going to pay for a 2.79 small bottle of laundry soap and I said I did and she said no your card didn't cover it. So I gladly went back in to pay for it. My daughter applied for the Dollar General located in Frederick ok in witch this all happened and the manager told her to apply and she would hire her. But once she found out she was my daughter she didn't hire her cause in the manager words her mom is a their and I'm sure she is too so she didn't hire her. I went in the store tonight 5/10/19 and she was accusing another woman for stealing and I said well she accused me as well and the manager mouth off to me she even went as far as accusing me of being high on something I work 7 days a week and was on my 8th day so I was and am tiers. I work for dollar General as a store manager candidate and been doing management for over 10 years and never would I treat customers in that manner the store is in horrible conditions always is when I walked in there were 3 cars in the parking lot and both the manager and cashier were standing at registers and taking not working. I took a HUGE offence to this and the fact my daughter list out on an opportunity due to nothing is wrong the manage judge me and she don't even k me me I have never stole from the store and never will. Again this is Dlar general in Frederick ok. Can't walk threw aisle and boxes and trash all over the floor no facing and things are in places where they do not go threw out the whole store. And no prices on items.

I went to this store, it's not my normal dollar general, day before payday. Dig out a bunch of quarters to Go get my kid some juice and fresh water and some snack cakes for lunches tomorrow. The lady at the register who claimed to be the manager informed me that she probably wouldn't take my quarters because they wont fit in her slot in the register, there was like 5 quarters in the spot in her drawer when she opened it. She was the nicest rude person I've ever talked too, like I'm sorry that your in your 50's and still checking a register. My total was $10 she just kept going on and on about how it was such a big deal. Then tells me they weigh the change to count it, I asked her if that's how it's done why cry about me paying for my few items with quarters, I could understand an issue if it's all pennies, I just feel if that lady was really management she shouldn't cry about accepting some change, and keep making a big deal about it and sympathise with a young father trying to take care of his kids. Older gentleman was behind me in line and said he was paying with change too, she didn't say a word to him about it. Why single me out? Why even bother causing a scene over some pocket change. I just feel she really could have handled the situation better especially if she is management.

ended up quiting due to transfering to a store that was over 60 miles round trip and gas was killing me and when i quit they put me down as non rehirable i busted my butt worked almost everystore in the district and helped other districts worked for you all twice wanted someone to review why my employee# is 168366, managers that can vouch for me are lori smith store 192 and clay at haywood, can call me at [protected]

I was required to update my Dollar General app. Since then, when I tried to login it tells me my email does not exist. I enter my phone number and it tells me me the phone number already exists, so it will not let me use it . It will not except any of my passwords. It will not let me change my password. It will not let me change my password. It will not send a link for me to change my password when I enter my email account & and it keeps telling me the phone number is already in use. How can I correct this problem?

On May 2, 2019 I stopped at the Dollar General store in Winfield, Alabama Store #03646. I was asking the Store Manager/Assistant Josh about some prices and he begin to cuss me and told me he would call the police on me if I did not leave the store because I told him he was being disrepectful. He did this in front of several customers. I called back to the store and spoke with another manager and she told me he does this to everyone who comes in the store and is rude to them. The store is located at 1300 Tamiami Trail in Punta Gorda FL. The outside is an embarrassment to our city. Nothing has been kept up. Palm frowns everywhere, weeds, trash. We have a beautiful city and a charming downtown. Nobody is taking care of the place. It's a mess and has been for months.

Please if you have any pull with this store, we would appreciate it being cleaned up.
