Dollar General employees

do you folks have anyone working for you with the name of Megan opplinger or Megan Belt or Megan Stimpel her real name is Megan Belt she uses these other names that's not on her birth certificate .if she doesn't work for you why is she behind the counter she's not someone I would trust. she's very rude .she's not awenest at all.so I would like to know if she work for the Dollar General or not if so I will take my money else where I shop there all the time tody I seen her behind the counter by the register 3-25-2019 at 9:49 am

Dollar General the condition of the dollar general store

This is a very busy store and I've been told it's considered a "high risk" store. The condition of the store continues to become run down. The front door is just about to fall off the hinges, the heat does not work, one of the front panels on a refrigerator unit is falling off, the outside is NEVER clean. There is always debris around. The staff are very helpful and cordial, they are always stocking, but stuff never seems to get on the shelves. I frequent this store and would like to see conditions improve. There are some very nice DG in neighboring towns. Why isn't ours in good condition?

Dollar General cashier stealing

Cashier pocketed my item . Never go back to that store. Mgr, rude. Bought two antibotics they were on reciept, I seen cashier put one in bag after everything else was baffed although he rang it up almost first, when placed in bag so " oh almost missed this" strange that he only put one in, then when I returned to Manager she said he placed in in bag that was two days later, the guy is a thief and I was not refunded the money for the item. I called the District Managers office and was to be contacted but nenver happened. I'm retired and don't need to be ripped off by Dollar General.

Dollar General store and employees

This store is completely disgusting! It was in such great shape last year or a little more. Y'all had certain employee's that went above and beyond to make myself and others actually want to come back! It's sad they are no longer there. Everytime I was there I saw the same few girls busting their [censored]. Excuse my language but it's true. I would also see two girls at more than one of the stores that weren't their own. I don't know why they left but they need to come back and fix this store and restore it back to what it was. It's so sad! We have switched to going to dollar tree or a different dollar store. The current employees you have there have no respect for anyone! They talk on their phones. And even use inappropriate language! Please do something about this! It at least check in on your store in athens georgia on cedar shoals rd. We had a wonderful rapport with the ladies that work there before it is so sad to see them gone in the store and such awful shape we were hoping when it moved from the location that was at last time it would stay nice but it hasn't so please do something about this!

Dollar General management

Manager at this store is extremely rude and very condescending, especially to the elderly in this community. We are a small rural town and do love to Dollar Store being here. She has hired some good people to work her but in the past few months all of those good employees have quit due to her treatment of them as well and she has hired some that Are questionable at best and I personally feel probably couldn't pass a drug screen.
I myself have had to search for someone to check me out at the store on more than one occasion, I could hear talking and laughing in the store and had to walk around to see where they were and when I did, they acted put out that they had to come to the front if the store to work.
Another issue is that they take smoke breaks right in front of the sliding doors where customers walk in, I feel as if there should be a designated smoking area for the workers, maybe by the back of the store, usually there are only 2 people working at a time and they take their breaks at the same time, maybe that is why they stand by the front door in the chairs that are for sale.

Dollar General race issues/asked for a simple "bike lock" and got verbally assaulted by cashier and manager

I came to this dollar general right after work on 3-19-19. I rode my bike and as I approached the store I saw two big men sitting outside the building I didn't want to leave my bike without a lock nor bring attention to myself as a woman so I came through the store door breezeway area and gladly asked the manager lady (drawn on eyebrows manager) as she approached me "do you have a bike lock?" she started yelling at me after looking me up and down "you cant bring that bike in here!" I stated "all I want is a bike lock" a white male customer came to my defense and said "there is a few men outside the door thats why she there!" I told him "thank you!" then the cashier yells at me while all white customers stand in line "you can sit your backpack down here and"watch your attitude!" I let her know I don't have a problem and dont talk to me like that I spend a lot of money with dollar general and don't be fooled by my appearance my car just broke and I just came from work. She came at me once again repeating herself now what is strange I was already dealing with the manager now her cashier was on me to all over a dang bike lock>if I wasn't a black woman this would of played out totally different and I would of not been treated with respect... She stared at me as if I was someone not deserving to shop at the store... And whats weird this same manager worked at the waverly store before she came to the cedar street and she wonder why she had so many issues out there... People need to be careful on how they treat people because my demeanor doesn't hide the fact that I am human just like the next and if my bike would of got stolen or something would of happen outside the store dollar general would of been quick to point the finger elsewhere>happy they are paying so well to hire arrogant, selfless, racist, angry, confrontational, bitter women.

Dollar General manager jennifer

Every time someone asks the manager Jennifer about a item, she always very rude and disrespectful. She'll tell me a lie just so she don't have to help me. She has done this to me several times and has done it to other customers. She is not a person that should be in any customer service positions. I go to this store very regular on a daily basis. I will stop shopping Dollar General if something is not done about her attitude. Thanks

Dollar General product not marked correctly

I've been in this store multiple times and everytime the prices are not marked correctly and I say something about they look and say it's for something else if that's true why is it not there with that product another time it was clearly marked and the said that was not suppose to be there that was supposed to be taken down and they took that price down why don't they do there job they I stop in 10 minutes before they close a man is standing in the door just looking a girl standing just on the inside as I approach he tells me I only got 10 minutes I was there just for two things and what happens again the price is marked wrong if you got time to stand in the door someone is got time to look at this stuff to make sure the price is right do your job and on top of that there just rude cause I said on the shelf the price says something else not my fault they can't do there job i'm getting tired if this looks like i'm going to walmart I don't care if I have to drive a little further, I know mistakes are made but it's all the time at this dollar general.

Dollar General the cleanliness of the store

I frequent the dollar general in Rockford, Alabama Store #6057 a lot but today was the straw that broke the camels back. We have to endure on a daily basis buggies in the aisles and dirty floors. Today was just unbearable.

I went to purchase a carton of Almond milk and they only had one so I reached for it and it has some type of clear sticky liquid all down one side of it. This was really repulsive. After that I left it and went down the freezer aisle and their was so much trash and lent in the aisles that it was ridiculous; as a manager that walks through this store on a daily basis are they restricted from picking up a broom and sweeping the aisles.

Even in your own home you make sure the front room and the bathroom are clean. Someone needs to come and inspect this store because they truly lost a sale with me today.

Dollar General the store the workers and the dm

Today I went to dg to get a few things, and of course they was out again, and i asked a young lady that was working about some soda, she told me "NO" the vendor will be here 3-13-2019 not very nice at all ! So i just got something else went to check out the girl said Tara is in the office so I went to her told her who I was that I am the one who made a complaint on line about the store and the DG coupons on line not working and all I got was crap so I left my stuff sit there and I left. Well the DM just gave me a story really did not fix the issue this happens every time we go there things in the wrong place, you don't know that till you go to check out, the DM was told this. Not happy this was not solved, I felt she just wanted me out of the store!

Dollar General gmc

My cousin is a manager at Dg but there is a man Bob is sexually harassing the employees anyway brandi is a employee and he sexually assaulted her and she found drugs at the store and he never reported it and brandi told Sharon another employee the next day and brand was afraid to the GM well Sharon reported it and the GMC Jane didn't believe it and went to bob and Jane never reported it and now he sexually assaulted a customer this isn't acceptable I'm a concern citizan

Dollar General broken front doors

The front doors on this location are broken all the time and you have to push them open and its very hard for the older generation to open, workers dont care about it when told. The doors should have never been installed on the North/west side due to the wind always blowing at the location, very bad decision on the contractors/building plans, thats why doors are broken everyday

Dollar General discrimination/false accusations

I am carrie hence as I was shopping at a local dollar general store in our community (hwy 490 east bernstadt ky.40729) and decided I couldn't find what I was shopping for there started out to my car as I exited the doors the store manager shannon screamed loudly in front of a very crowded parking lot as well as store full of people "hey you... You come right here right now... And I said me? And she said yes you follow me" as we walk into her office she says open your purse and what did you steal? What merchandise do you have? And I replied are you calling me a theif as I open my purse and dump it out as well as raised up my shirt and shook out my bra and she saw I took/stole nothing at all... She still had a attitude with me and not once apologized to me for the embarrassing act she had no reason to do this I have never stole anything in my life she pin pointed me for talking to a person/ my family a fellow shopper whom she didn't like because of rumors he was on drugs which still doesn't mean she has a right to single me out, pull me in her office and embarrass me as well as ban me from the store how dare her who does she think she is? I'm going to seek an attorney if this matter is not solved through you all and file suit...

Lol. You probably dumped the merchandise knowing you was going to be caught and wanted to make a scene when you got called for it. You could've saved yourself a lot of embarrassment by not attempting to steal in the first place.

Dollar General store

Montpelier is a small town with only one Dollar General store. It is a small store but it is hard to get around in due to stock always congesting the isles, I am amazed someone hasn't fallen & suede the store yet. The floors are generally dirty & regular everyday items are poorly stocked. The manager is somewhat rude. On one occasion I was at the cash register & she was a few feet from me in plain view & told me I would need to wait a few minutes as she was sitting through some artificial flowers on a table rather than checking me out. I didn't appreciate that I had to wait for her to be finished with what she was doing before she would ring me out so I could leave. I only had a few items, three at most & was short on time. They have constructed several new stores in surrounding areas that are larger & carry more product. I would think being ad Dollar General is the only store in our town it would be a wise investment to build a larger store with more items in our town or reduce the amount of items sold in our store to eliminate the possibility of slipping, tripping or falling on stock left in the isles!

Dollar General customer service

Around 2:30, The store manager, Miss. Wonderful decided to enforce a policy that prevent students under the age of 13 from entering DG store # 10890; due to the influx of students after weekend school. Unknowingly to this policy, I gave my children ages 16, 11, and 6 money to buy snacks from DG after school. My children age 11 and 6 were prevented from entering the store, as if they were "criminals", and forced to wait in the cold. I asked the store manager "Why are my children being prevented from entering the store?". The manager told me because they are under the age of 13. I asked her "Where is this policy posted?" She became defensive and told me the Principle at the weekend school should have told me about this policy. I told her, I understand the situation that is prompting this policy but she should have this policy visibly displayed so that customers can be properly informed. Miss. Wonderful was too defensive, and over talking me at this point; she even went to get the Principle of the weekend school to tell me in front of any and all customer of this made up policy. I give the Principle the same message I gave her; the policy should be displayed so that parents are properly inform. I would like any policies that affect customers at store 10890 to be properly displayed so that customer can be informed and Miss. Wonderful and any other manger to be prevented from abusing their power and enforcing policies without following DG procedures. I would also like the store manager Miss. Wonderful to be trained on professionalism.

Dollar General wrong termination

My name is LaKisha Jones and I was terminated last night because I was short three times and I don't see how. I been working for Dollar General for almost 6 months and I have never been short. While I was working the cash register I was also stocking and was going back and forth from stocking and the register. There was two people that be working my register and its probably the reason why I was short. I had worked at the Dollar General in Huntington and the store manager told me that they never had been short. I would like my job back working at Dollar General because I love meeting new people, felt comfortable, and loved the people I was working with.

When you leave your register to do other tasks, you should've signed your register off and not let others know your cashier numbers to run your till. They won't rehire you because they view you as a thief.

Dollar General products, store managers, and quality of store

The store always is full of carts its a daily basis the staff is rude and can't help you all they all want to do is stand around talking and I can walk into another store for instance every time I walk into the 300 w. Fairchild store the assistant manager thier is always nice and helpful and always busy I may have to wait a few min for her to come back to the register from doing something but always makes me feel like it was worth the drive from my house to her store I wish she was the manager over here by my house I would shop more at my store then driving all the way to danville from rockville so so sad that I have to drive thier to get what I want becuase I refuse to go in the one right next to my house because of all the lazy worthless staff they have at mine assistant manager pagen thank you for all you do for me and make it worth the drive all the way from rockville thank you for making the dollar general experience a happy one

I purchased 4 "California Scents" coronado cherry auto air fresheners (SKU # [protected]-220). I use them in all my vehicles and love them. My latest purchase (3/9/19) was VERY dissapointing. They were dried out and have almost no fragrance at all.

I prefer to believe this is the fault of the manufacturer and not the store. The employees at my local Dollar General are ALL very nice people, and are proud of their store. Thye would have no way of knowing this product is of inferior quality without opening one and giving it a "sniff-test"!

I am going to follow up by contacting the manufacturer if I can find out who they are!

Dollar General dangerous inexperienced truck driver that put me and my son at risk

A truck driver that drives for dollar general came so close to my car that he was less than an inch away then he stopped and our two vehicles sat there for what felt like forever at an intersection no one. moving finally I moved and he jumped out of his truck and said "Oh, please don't report this." "I could loose my job." "I just got into an accident yesterday." He immediately placed blame on me when then police arrived. I have now become concerned for all the people who were in my position yesterday (2/23/2019). I just feel having people driving 16 wheel trucks when they don't know how to drive is dangerous and you are putting many people at risk.

Dollar General the way the store looks

I was in the store today looking for the store manager, Jessica. Wanted to check on her since her surgery, an I was informed that she was not there that the District Manager was running the store, it looks like crap and I beleieve that the fire marshal needs to be contacted. Those girls work hard in that store an I would hate to see something happen to them, because of the conditions of the store. As much pain as the store manager was in she never let the store look like this. How are we supposed to shop now, you need to get rid of whoever that tall black guy is and find someone who knows what they are doing. I'll never shop there again.

All there stores look like this. I live in NE Ohio and the stores here look the same, actually worse than this. The workers are not to be blamed. The CEO is CHEAP as hell. He expects these employees to stock, unload truck, cashier all at the same time. They are overworked for pennies! He also expects them to work off the clock with no pay to complete tasks! The CEO of Dollar General makes millions off of low income people and cannot even hire someone to come in and unload the trucks so the regular employees can at least focus on customers! Speaks volumes as to what kind of person he is! I will let everyone I know that the CEO is a cheap pig who doesn't care about his customers or his employees!

Dollar General employee discriminate me

Today 21 february 2019 at Dollar General Store located on Mariner Blvd. in Springhill, Florida, 34608.
Employee at the register by the name of Rick refused to sell me an item (cigarettes), I provided him with my ID and debit card to buy the item. He said he did not sell it for me and added to go to another store to purchase the item.

He clearly discriminated against me because I was talking spanish with my wife while standing on line. A person like should be fired.

an id inspired Lol, its expired and if an id is expired then the store has the right to refuse any and all cigarette, tobacco and alcohol purchases to anyone with an expired id. its a law. if that employee would of sold cigarettes, tobacco or alcohol to someone with an expired id, not only could that said person lose their job but that employee and that store could face heavy fines and penalties for an improper sale

Hi Eliezer, we're sorry about the inconvenience you had at one of our stores. However it appears the cashier is correct in this situation. Stores do have the right to refuse cigarette sales if there's any questions about the ID you provided.

You slapped your wife over something that dumb? That's insane. Seriously though, the dg corporate person is right about the Id thing. My friend used to work for DG so I would know this. Your id has to be current and not expired, not inspired, to sell cigarettes
